What is missing, is the ability to ban people from posting there. Otherwise they can be quite annoying, posting again and again after you've deleted their posts. Can this option be turned on or does it require coding? Without it, self-moderation is incomplete. But still, such feature would make life easier for mods and topic starters. Right... Because self-mod is only to hide something ::) And how the hell can you hide anything with self-mod anyway, when users can freely create 20 other topics? They can be useful if you've got trolls attacking you but most of the time it's just twatty tiny tyrants who (ab)use this feature to either just delete criticism or any valid comments they just don't like. They make mods work very less. But most of the persons use this option in a bad way. I heard that some posts which are against OP but useful for others are deleted. It would be very bad and will promote scams in a great way. Try to remove it atleast from services and lending. Kindly, MZ |
