That's for version 2 hopefully, I definitely want to improve it.

X11/X13 is for the select few that have the REAL mining software for it that actually USES a GPU's FULL capabilities.

Totally pointless have already in program to make another v2 coin... just switch algo on this one and maybe low the premine.

Sorry, I was jumping ahead a bit thinking about V2 less than an hour after I released V1  :-[
I'm hoping Eirecoin appeals to newbies more & not those with expensive mining rigs.
My next project is a forum for the site to answer questions about the coin & helping people start mining with simple home rigs (PI's) or PC's.

HAHAHA! Another ninja lauch insta-mine scam. Look at the first post. In addition to the premine, this launched with over 1000 blocks insta-mined in the first three minutes alone! Here is a link to the original Irish coin that is not a scam:

I reckon about 1 million was premined on 3 testing machines last week, them coins will die, I only used them for making sure my wallets, nodes & mining pool were all working properly.  Your talking .1% here, If you have a suggestion for how I can make it right, let me know, I'm wide open to suggestions for bounties to give away everything that's fair.

If someone can make a blockchain I could put the .1% out of the premine into a raffle or something to keep everyone happy, is that possible, I want to be completely transparent here.

Right... go to die on an exchange when you dump them...

I mined this for a while.
Dev............ the global hashrate has never gone above 100 meg. I do not see this going anywhere unless you provide more details about the coin and also your future plans for the coin.

Hi rayday, I noticed you mining on the pool so thanks for your feedback, I'm waiting on someone to get back to me about your 100 meg issue so I'll let you know.

As for everyone else saying go die, I'm not sure what to say to that, I want this to appeal to new irish crypto user's but it's obviously fair game for anyone.
I have a website eirecoin.co I've to add more stuff to, like a forum for newbie questions for user's that would be too intimidated to ask here. I've a shop on the website but obviously I can't accept eirecoin till it's listed on an exchange.
I didn't go to all the trouble of setting a coin/site/shop up if I don't expect to get it onto an exchange at some point, otherwise, what's the point?

I'm in the process of organising faucets etc at the moment to give out free coins, in the days & weeks to come & I'll be doing twitter & facebook campaigns, I'm not giving up that easily.

Global hashrate is now less than 15 meg.Looks like that there is not much enthusiasm for your coin. Right now I see a slow death for it. Most miners do not want to mine a scrypt coin. ( Higher temperatures and higher electricity costs) Either do some type of marketing campaign for Eirecoin, to build up some excitement, add x11 and or x13 algorithms to the existing scrypt algorithms or relaunch using x11 or x13 only.

1% premine for bounties & giveaways.

Could you give me some coins? ;D
How to get giveaway?

Title: Re: [ANN][EIR]Eirecoin - Ireland's cryptocurrency

ha, giveaways was probably the wrong word, I mean competitions etc or 50 free coins if you download a wallet & post an addy etc

Lads, still working on them unconfirmed coins, I see a load of unconfirmed stuff there so maybe it's better using the 2nd pool which is posted above till I fix it, I'll sort you both out either way.

OK, the coin is dead, due to popular demand I couldn't be bothered trying to fix it. I'm 1 person & don't have the ability to market this coin so it'll die.

I realise a few people have invested some time in this so PM me with a btc addy & I'll sort you out.
