I mined this for a while.
Dev............ the global hashrate has never gone above 100 meg. I do not see this going anywhere unless you provide more details about the coin and also your future plans for the coin.
Hi rayday, I noticed you mining on the pool so thanks for your feedback, I'm waiting on someone to get back to me about your 100 meg issue so I'll let you know.
As for everyone else saying go die, I'm not sure what to say to that, I want this to appeal to new irish crypto user's but it's obviously fair game for anyone.
I have a website eirecoin.co I've to add more stuff to, like a forum for newbie questions for user's that would be too intimidated to ask here. I've a shop on the website but obviously I can't accept eirecoin till it's listed on an exchange.
I didn't go to all the trouble of setting a coin/site/shop up if I don't expect to get it onto an exchange at some point, otherwise, what's the point?
I'm in the process of organising faucets etc at the moment to give out free coins, in the days & weeks to come & I'll be doing twitter & facebook campaigns, I'm not giving up that easily.
Global hashrate is now less than 15 meg.Looks like that there is not much enthusiasm for your coin. Right now I see a slow death for it. Most miners do not want to mine a scrypt coin. ( Higher temperatures and higher electricity costs) Either do some type of marketing campaign for Eirecoin, to build up some excitement, add x11 and or x13 algorithms to the existing scrypt algorithms or relaunch using x11 or x13 only.
