I will match PD's rates:

Anything against using escrow?

No issues with escrow.

I'm not sure why people would choose your deal over Stunna's to be honest. You'll probably have to think of ways to better his or the other deals. Why don't you consider one of the fixed rate deals where you pay 0.05 for 50 posts or whatever? You can cap the number of users and know exactly how much to budget for then.

This is better in the sense you get paid a lot quicker, every 2 weeks, not to mention that Primedice is slow paying out (He has 100++ people on his service, fully understandable) anyways.

I would sign up for this except I currently only have member status

Agreed, this being bi-weekly will attract some people; that said, even slightly better rates (and perhaps limiting the number of participants from the beginning, and max number of posts) would go a long way towards making this campaign much more attractive.

We probably will close it off once we reach a certain limit.  We haven't decided what that is yet.

i can think of two things: first, it's paid bi-weekly. secondly, he doesn't have a billion people in his campaign, so you will get your remittance quicker probably. i'd still stick with stunna though.

But this guy has zero trust so far so I think getting payments twice a month doesn't really hold much weight, at least in my opinion, but if people want to take that risk for slightly faster payments then go for it. Stunna did mention the possibility of weekly payments too though. And as for slow paying, at least you're guaranteed to get paid. Can't say that for many of these other deals.

Well, ned.ryerson did say he was willing to use the services of an escrow from this forum; it's hard not to consider that a sufficient safeguard.

Also, I doubt PD will switch to weekly payments anytime soon. Between the amount of members in the campaign and the new system not really being fully automated (like Ritz's was for example), it would be far too much trouble to go with anything but monthly payments.

Lots of people say they're willing to escrow and then don't, but he'll have to put quite a bit in escrow unless he caps the numbers and limits the amounts of posts or he'll soon go out of budget. Even putting 1btc in escrow probably won't really suffice without some heavy restrictions.

As he said, they haven't decided on what limits will be implemented in the campaign yet:

We probably will close it off once we reach a certain limit.  We haven't decided what that is yet.

And if it happens that he says he's willing to use escrow and then doesn't, that's already a good sign of trouble coming. But until anything close to it happens, there's little point in us going on about it. :P

Can anyone see the catch in this campaign?

A newbie sets up a gambling game where you send bets to a handful of addresses, then later starts a biweekly sig campaign to promote the game. What if the profits from the gambling game cannot cover the campaign payout? What if the campaign brings volume to the game and this newbie decides to vanish in two weeks?

Don't join this unless OP decides to use escrow. The rates aren't that good anyway.

Could you guys take a step back for a bit? He's already saying he'll pay a portion upfront to Senior/Hero Members, saying he will use escrow from a trusted forum member, and is willing to pay twice a month.  Now, of course it's probably a good idea to wait for him to actually decide on the limits of the campaign, and to escrow enough for half a month/one month before considering joining the campaign; but other than that, there really isn't much more anyone can do to prove their good intentions.

Yeah you guys should go trust UpDown bt who screwed me out of 150 + posts.
They dont even bother replying.
I decided not to join a campaign after i quit up down last night.

I rather stay pure than to be corrupted by such bull crap.
Starting a new project and well try to give out a fair and reasonable campaign where people will get paid for sure.
If anyone has any experience with creating and managing a signature campaign, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Just signed on for the day.  Will get to PMs shortly.  As of right now, we're going to limit the campaign to 20 folks.  We may increase that in the future, but want to see how it works out first.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to choose an escrow first; the users escrow.ms or bitcoininformation for example seem pretty trustworthy in this community. Also, it might be a good idea to limit the number of max posts per time period, and defining what types of posts you're going to pay, to make sure people avoid spamming for the extra btc.

I am willing to use escrow of a highly reputable member here.

I will match PD's rates:
  • Hero: 0.0012BTC/constructive post
  • Senior: 0.001BTC/constructive post
  • Full: 0.0006BTC/constructive post

I will pay bi-weekly.

Hi,t pay
As i saw in previous posts of Stunna these days he will not allow any new users in his campaign. Not sure if the OP is updated, but the PD campaign is full for now. BTW Do you have any limit for post counting per week?

those are some good rates but limiting to only 100 posts per month while Stunna limits to 100 posts a week..

that makes him a bit better ;)

Where did he say such a thing? I saw no posts that stated the campaign was not accepting new members. As far as I know, that was only a suggestion people were throwing around so that the campaign could perhaps go back to the previous post limits, and to avoid alt accounts joining and spamming the forum.

We're still looking to fill slots.

Have you given any more thought about using escrow to hold the funds? Without doing so, most people will rightly find this campaign too risky to join. Don't take this the wrong way, but you are still a new user here, and people are tired of being scammed.

Everyone has their own tolerance for risk, but IMO, escrow is not needed because:

    - an initial payment was promised upfront (paid immediately, as promised)
    - payments are to be made bi-weekly (not a long time)
    - amount of BTC is not a significant amount
    - no real commitment on my part (I can quit anytime)

OP also established certain posting guidelines, but they seem reasonable.
We are talking about a service -  posting - not goods.
I post anyway - so, for me, the risk is minimal.

I'm game for playing the "guinea pig" for now, giving him time to establish a track record.
Will no doubt continue to evaluate/ assess as we go along - as anyone would, for any deal.

YMMV

True, everyone has their risk tolerance and this is an extra for what you would do anyway; but it's nice when people follow through with what they agree to do, and escrow makes sure of that. And indeed the OP has said that he was willing to use it; unfortunately, he has not done so so far, which is often not a good sign, as others have mentioned in this thread. Also, even if the OP pays a few people that do come here and join in the first month, without escrow or at least reputation on this site, it's anyone's guess whether or not he would be willing to pay when the campaign is full; the recent situation with UpDown comes to mind for example. But still, it's your choice whether or not you want to risk it, and to be honest, I hope everything goes well.

By the way, this campaign is apparently to be paid every 2 weeks (bi-weekly), not on a weekly basis (see OP's second post).

I`ll be watching this thread for the tx id for payment on whoever was the 1st couple people to do this.

If you are one of those people, it helps to update us.

I don't like PD's sig, and it's very unorganized. You think you can make an exception for me? I can even go with 0.0003 a post, really I'd be fine with anything. let me know, I'll be a full member by the end of July.

Payment received, thanks op. Do you want us to repost our post count each week?

It would be best if you edited your OP to include your rates and maximum posts in an easier to understand manner.
You could then submit your campaign to the signature campaign overview thread :- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

Secondly , try to highlight what makes your campaign superior to PD.
Maybe give a small boost of 0.0001 per post , which would not affect your bankroll much , but help you get more applicants.
Currently it looks shadier , with a seemingly insignificant bonus of 0.01 BTC , which most Senior/Hero members would sacrifice in return for being able to deal with a well reputed signature campaign owner.

Yo op just thought I leave a message with you since your not replying to any of my previous post. So I guess we not getting paid... I feel kinda responsible for getting people for this campaign. So if this campaign has finished then you should have said on last payment.

has OP paid you for last period?
he's not online until now, too bad. and not many people join his campaign
it seems very risky to join newly made campaign

Telling we should demand for new sig owners to put bitcoins into escrow before we join them.  You guys dont learn from the uptown scam

I left your campaign since the basic fact your not paying I finished on 930 posts and if you have just gone invisible or gone on holiday it doesn't matter I've switched.

Another campaign end at sad note by not paying.

I was close to joining this before, so glad I didn't. The guy seemed really nice and everything too...:(

I guess hilariousandco and PolarPoint were right: we should have pressured OP to use escrow and to set realistic limits as soon as possible. By the way, I know not many people joined this, but why is there only one negative rating on ned.ryerson?

is scam?

Well, OP has disappeared - he hasn't been online in 3 weeks - so yes.

Don't even think about joining until OP comes back on, if he does.
