Title: Has anyone got any of the bitcoin ATM cards already? Post by: CryptoPanda on July 02, 2014, 12:50:59 PM In the last few months few services appeared offering ATM cards that you can use to withdraw cash from an actual old world bank ATM. (they sell the BTC in the background and fund the card with cash).

I am kind of on the same page with that. I like the relative anonymity of bit coin. I don't suddenly want to get a capital gains tax bill in the mail and frankly it isn't anyones business whether or not I transact in bit coin. Post by: Lethn on July 05, 2014, 02:44:44 AM Sounds dodgy as fuck OP unless they have a legitimate business partner and the law on their side, I wouldn't try it, I could see a bank or a credit card company doing this but if it's just someone with a cheap website selling them I'd avoid it.

I like the fact that they claim there are no fees after the purchase of the card ($15 is reasonable too!) I would be most reluctant to put any bitcoin in their vault and minimal in their wallet - just to use the card. I don't trust any online wallet after Gox. I'll do my own cold storage. Well they got few millions VC recently. I suppose they did their due diligence :) And they are legal as far as I know, basically they sell your BTC and fund the card with USD both in real time. That being said, I'm tempted to get one of these cards! well you can send bitcoins to your wallet with them just shortly before spending them, I suppose you will have to wait at least 1 confirmation though.
