I really doubt anyone has won this.

Did you predict all the group winners and runner-ups correctly?

The chance of that is so ridiculously small with all the surprising knock-outs, even if you did you had to guess all the other matches correctly too.

And as far as I know you could view what predictions you made on the website.

They aren't going to adjust their rules to payout a 100 BTC. They made a massive prize to entice people and were able to because the odds are so insanely small to guess every game. No one even got a perfect bracket on ESPN.

So the winner must have 100% predictions ?

More like less than 0.0001%

Yeah, they're not giving you 100 BTC if you might have the best predictions, stop dreaming.

The 100 BTC prize was only for someone who could predict EVERY group winner, runner-up and every winner of the matches thereafter correctly.

They knew the chance was so ridiculously small that anyone would guess everything correctly so it was more of a publicity stunt, because everyone wants to make a chance at 100 BTC even with such a small chance of winning, but hey it was free after all.

So the winner must have 100% predictions ?

I thought that should be obvious to someone participating in that contest.

Maybe you should read a little bit more before doing stuff.

In this world there is no easy money like you would hope son.

There are upsets in EVERY sports event. Would people predict Turkey and South Korea for 3rd/4th place in 2002 World Cup. Never.

Same reason Warren Buffet was able to offer that billion dollar prize for a perfect NCAA bracket. Odds > Risk.

Whoever was able to get the 100 btc prize, would easily be able to get the 1M prize for comproved paranormal habilities. Or already billionaire on sport bettings, with $1 initial capital.

Still don't you think cloudbet should have posted when very one was knocked out?  If they were serious you'd think they would keep the community updated.  Obviously what they should do to be good sports is give the closest entry something like 1 BTC.

Can we have a list of members still in to win the 100BTC?

Who won big so far or made a huge bet on a team?

Hi boumalo,

Unfortunately with all the upsets in the group stage we didn't have anyone make it past the second game of the knockout round.

I don't have any figures to hand regarding the biggest bets or the biggest winners on the World Cup, but I can tell you that over the weekend we had one punter hit a 75 BTC jackpot on one of our 3D slots, and another won a similar amount playing live Blackjack.

Cheers,
Cloudbet

Hi all,

No player won the 100 BTC challenge, in fact nobody correctly guessed the outcome of the group stages. What an exciting World Cup! Remember that it was free to enter.

We will be announcing some new promotions very soon, stay tuned!

Cheers,
Cloudbet

It was not unexpected at all, we all knew it will happen because predicting every round is almost impossible, every big events always have some setback games and you just use that. You just made that promotion for Advertising your Site.

No one said it was unexpected, and why do you think this is a problem? Quicken, Warren Buffet, and everyone else that runs a contest for the ncaa basketball tournament do the same exact thing every year.

This was not a promotion, it was just an advertising scheme. It's basically impossible. The odds of correctly predicting everything had to be in the billions. It would have been a lot better if rather than only giving out a prize for a perfect bracket, there were other awards for the top entries. Maybe not 100btc, but something for the top.

thats like more than 30 match for all the game

even in dice game to hi 24 lose streak you need to roll 500k times .
