Title: Ways To Earn Bitcoin

Posting this here because you see so many newcomers asking how to earn Bitcoin. Before someone else asks, you might want to check out this article on "What Can You Do To Earn Some Bitcoin?" (http://banksworstfear.com/can-earn-bitcoin/)

Nice little article but I would of left out faucets as they are a waste of time and will only allow you to collect dust which you can't purchase anything from.

I would love to do some freelance work, but nobody wants to hire me.

Anyway, thanks for this article.

I agree on that. But more because most faucets force you to collect the gathered BTC in amounts smaller than the current transaction fee per KB, which makes the Bitcoin from those faucets practically useless. There are a few faucets that allow you to gather the BTC until you reach a useful amount and then withdraw them in one chunk so it is at least useable. But still you don't get much out of it and reaching an amount bigger than the transaction fee takes like forever.

I guess besides trading with Bitcoin freelance work or signature campaigns in this forum are the best way to get your hands on Bitcoins.

Where do you sell these ebooks? I would of thought this would be rather difficulty to prove they are legit.

The article is simple and perfect for newcomers, I'll link it to some people I know thanks.

Maybe it should include some other ways to earn bitcoins aimed to experienced members.

True; I wrote that one for beginners. Does anybody have some tips for experienced members so I could maybe do a follow-up article?

Signature campaigns are probably the best way to make money if you like posting on this forum. Currently the max you can make is 400 posts per month as a hero member, making 0.48 BTC a month with prime dice.

The article is pretty good, and you may add another section for bitcointalk signature campaign, and for giveaway, free promo (usually for gambling sites) and free rolls. :)

Also try to stay away from faucets. They are a waste of time and you will earn absolutely nothing.

Bitcoin is just like any other currency.  There is no "easy" way to earn it.
Honestly main way of obtaining this currency would be doing what people do for fiat currencies.  Either get a job that pays bitcoin, or buy bitcoin with your own money.

i've made a few coins trading alts, but it's a risky game.

What are faucet rotator sites?

Faucet rotator are for jumping from 1 faucet to another. But most of them (the faucets) only give 20-30 satishi/30min when you finish you can restart the whole process again. So that's a waste of time. bitvisitor.com (http://bitvisitor.com) is a good way to earn.

It depends on how much class you have when posting the referral links. I limit myself to posting those text links only if it has to do with the subject matter -- for instance, if I mention that somebody has a book, I might link to it on Barnes and Noble. That way, he's happy about the possibility of selling more books, I'm happy because then I can earn a percentage of sales, and the readers are happy because now they don't have to go out and look for a place to buy the book. Did the same with those faucets I linked to.

True, the rate is pretty low at 4000 satoshi a post at newbie rank, but it is still better than using faucets to get a few hundred satoshi solving a captcha. ;)

Yes, you can join the 777coin sig campaign (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654009.0) and get 0.00004 BTC (4000 satoshi) per constructive post.

The gain as a newbie is really low but posting daily will help you to better understand bitcoins and alts, so it's a win-win situation.
While your activity increases, you experience goes up at the same time.

That would be nice, but there are none that I know of that are well-trafficked. There was a time when I churned out some coin on http://coinworker.com, but it's too small time for me now. And when I glanced at it a few months ago, offers were sparse and payouts small.

Good article anyway, I enjoyed it :)

Its cited:

A lot of people who hang out on the Services subforum of Bitcointalk either want to rent out their signature for a signature campaign with reliable payouts,

But I agree it should be more stressed. But might cause a flood of noobs spamming for signature campaigns, so don't sure if would be a good idea.

I would also agree:

Game and rounds giveaways, stressing that most of them are associed with gambling and have a rollover, but from time to time we see a no string attached giveaway. May be good to grab some bitcoin if you know you won't become a gambling addict.

Trading, with some indications of where to start your path in the professional trading world.

I think the flood of newbs spamming for signature campaigns already arrived some time ago. ;D I think the only solid giveaway left in Games and Rounds is 777coin. Doesn't pay much anymore -- I remember the good old days when it was 1 mBTC or more for the daily. :)

It depends which coins you buy, they price of altcoins can rise and drop like crazy. I've seen rises of 200%; This is known as pump&dump, and if you buy in the dump phase you can lose a lot of money.

All kinds of trading (forex, bitcoin/usd, altcoin/bitcoin, etc) are risky, and you could win/lose a significant proportion of your money in just a day.
If you do leveraged trading, you could double/lose all your money in just an hour. :P
