Man I'm spending way too much time waiting for prices to blast off. Clearly this is not going to happen right away. I am fully vested in XHC and at the same time I'm completely vested in my 7 year old daughter. I need to give her more attention. Anybody out there with family in a similar boat.

Take a break. The coin's value just took a hit today because of Jarvis getting banned. Still waiting on clarification in regards to that, hopefully he will be able to provide some answers soon. A lot of FUDsters trying to bring down this coin right now despite the effort and progress that has been made towards restoring this coin.

Hi, I had my Honorcoin on Bittrex because when I received them I had no wallet yet. I just wanted to download the new Honorcoin wallet and send them from there but I realized Bittrex has delisted the coin. Does this mean I lost all the coins? Sounds ridiculous and impossible to me...but maybe you can help (had no time to keep myself updated on XHC as I have to already on about 500 coins).

I have not received word back from Bitcointalk. It looks like my previous account might be frozen for good because of the giveaway according to other members of the community. I apologize for the forum being frozen as I had no idea about that policy. They closed my Jarvis account without a warning because I offered the 2% Distribution to the community. They considered it a giveaway. I can not confirm this 100% as they haven't responded to my emails. It is real sad that they closed a senior member account without even the courtesy of letting me know what I needed to change in the listing. I did this for the community to build reputation, not loose it.

That was a step backwards for them, and for XMR. As if it needed more things to bring the value down. xD)

It's anybody's guess why they decided to replace LTC Market with XMR but clearly Monero is all the hype right now and the hype switches at a moments notice from one coin to the next and eventually people will get bored and move on to the next coin waiting for the limelight.
So as we in the XHC community continue to persevere eventually XHC will have it's time to shine in the spotlight also, just takes time and that's the way it's always been.
Not everyone is capable of having that kind of patience but those that do are the one's looking at higher potentials for reward then those who sell out quick because they have a narrow-mind, the broader-minded individuals will join our community in due time and bring some more vocal all-around common sense to this project.  ;)

I spend some time reading around this forum and I see a lot of people are banging the "we're tired of the scam coins" drum but then turn around and bash coin restoration and takeovers. Some think taking over a scam and making it into an actual investment somehow will enable scammers to be more scammy..? They're already scammers how can they be more enabled? It's everyone putting their money into the next shiny launch coin and misplaced distrust of Honest Dev's that is causing the continual scams.

If everyone would support the takeovers which now have truthful Devs and active development and stop jumping to the next launch coin then the scammers would actually be deterred some when they have a smaller market to scam. Takeovers are the best thing to happen to Crypto, the community shunning it is the worst thing to happen to Crypto aside from the launch coin wagon-jumping.

I don't understand the rush to general "benefit of the doubt" to a brand new developer and coin but the quick distrust of any coin that is now being/been fixed and under
Honest Development management and how common sense could tell anyone a takeover is a bigger risk then a fresh copy-paste ???

Then reality sets in and hard lessons are learned once again with the Launch Coin Scams and we bang the drum some more  ::)

This is so upsetting and WRONG!  I posted a couple times in the no giveaway thread too, probably won't help but couldn't resist.  No giveaways in crypto.....get real!  Banning someone who went out of his way to help those that were scammed, how fricken stupid could you possibly be?!

This forum will die a slow death if they don't rethink their approach to the spam problem!!  For starters MUCH heavier limitations need to be put on brand new accounts.......do they not see this OBVIOUS pattern of new accounts launching coins the same day, it being mostly all new accounts spamming giveaway threads?  Get a clue, you are screwing your loyal users!

He's clearly still active though (no panic necessary, Dev is still around...@ anyone getting the wrong impression  :P) and will probably have a update or two ready when he is re-allowed back into the forum  ;D

Managed to double my XHC holdings the past few days, attempting to go for triple.  Haven't had much BTC so I am personally glad for the temp slump that allowed me to increase my holdings.

It was really just bad timing. Right after the re-launch it was trading at 600 - 700 sat and going higher, and then the banhammer hit Jarvis and it caused a huge panic for everyone. And of course all the trolls and fudders take advantage of the ban and accuse him of being a scammer when he is not. Looking forward to Jarvis being back on these forums soon

ATM I am active in the Honorcoin, Cloakcoin and Silkcoin community and I have to say the Silkcoin and Honorcoin communities after the SCAM and Relaunch are small but that makes it more ... fun. When a coin becomes bigger its sooo much fudding around here... see Cloak.

WHat I would like would be more transparency from Jarvis regarding the developing process. It would be amazing to see some project management tools or even a checklist where we work on and what are the next steps. This is by the way what I would like to see from all coins..

It is so crazy how trading reacts on News in the Crypto World. And if there are 1 day no news price falls so crazy. But there are some days no news. Thats why I like to see more of the developing process than the real milestones. If you see the process and the work done everyday you will be satisfied everyday even if there is no big news. ATM I don't know hat Jarvis is doing the last 5 days.

We need to gain more trust all together. Jarvis is one key in this part, the community the other. If the trust is back and we have a good communication system, Investors wil be back too!

Wallets infrastructure under mandatory Azure maintenance

As we alluded to last night, Azure has a maintenance window starting at 20:00 PDT that will affect all our wallet servers. We expect wallet servers to be up and down most of the night, including the bitcoin wallets. He has been known to be non-vocal for small periods before and he has always come back and it's always because he's been busy, He does run an office after all :P

Don't think it's any cause for concern.

A few ideas I want some opinions/ideas:

-Forums that accept HonorCoin integrated as a payment/reward (gift cards) or similar/  Dating sites, gaming sites, forums ect.. (eg. Bitcoins integration into OKCupid in 2013)
-A integration into the wallet to enable users to pay or receive rewards using the wallet exclusively on accepted forums(bypassing the need for exchange accounts)

All ideas are welcome and feel free to chime in here :)

Jarvis can handle development just like he has been and any original ideas he may come up with but it helps if we start thinking of things also.

I just talked with ISAWHIM this morning, he should be posting on here sometime in the near future, he is still very much involved in HonorCoin

Jefferson is still around but he is doing PR for voot, Would like to have him as HonorCoin's PR also.. as he offered a while back, I think Jarvis may have forgot to contact him with everything else he's busy with.

Galahad still posts and is very much involved in HonorCoin and will most likely post when he's got any opinions.

Haven't seen Dermoves around for a bit, don't know what he's up to.

I agree we need a more vocal and diverse community and that will take a little time, but in the meantime I would suggest everyone white-knuckles the XHC. Sure we we're up to 600 sat before Jarvis temp ban but since they all jumped on first thought they were most likely weak hands, not the kind of people we really want. We want Investors who do their homework and research and who stay vocal on our thread with ideas and conversation. Maybe in time some of those weak hands would've become better believers but we can't change the past and there is always time to begin anew :) As long as it isn't taken for granted

My ideas are nothing new: first thing dev. need to show him self in public. Post a pic. his name etc on the firs page. This is his product and he need to stand behinde it. This will gain trust. Second we need working ann. better wallet with chat and maybe exchange in wallet. Btc, Ltc, Monero, Drk to Xhc without fee or a little fee that will go to dev. team to get them working. We need commy. to vote for all these things. To tell us what they want....

He can send me emails and i will post here every word or you can do that i dont care. If this was my coin and i pay 35$ an hour to prog. to make new xhc i will give my best to success. Roger that! It seems that the norm with all alt coins, if there is any sort of silence on the forums then the anxiety of coin holders tends to escalate quite rapidly, myself included. However, my optimistic gut tells me that if I can regulate my breathing and be patient with this one, in the end I'll be saying "Fuck Yeah Honor Coin!" That's one of my abbreviated observations that tends to works for me now. Other than that, it probably doesn't amount to shit for anyone else.  In any event, you really can't  go wrong when some dude out there is dumping coins at absurdly low prices. Do some research and follow your instincts. Peace.  :)

Can some one tell me how to solo mine? I know I need the honorcoin.conf file in the honorcoin folder in app data/roaming but I have never gotten solo mining to work on any coin. What exactly do I need in the .conf file and what settings do i need for sgminer .conf file. I am using sgminer 4.1 and a Radeon HD 7970. Thanks in advance.

This is an email I sent to the people at PocketCrypto (App). I use this  app daily and in doing so, I find it annoying looking at the old blue /w black "H" Honor Coin 1.0 design. A minor detail but what the hell, I like the new XHC Design. Let's see if they make the update soon.

Yes they've actually been VERY good about posting updates. The main dev got a temp-ban which should be lifted today. He was going to giveaway some coins to people that were promised them back before the original dev scammed everyone. He was essentially just holding up failed promises.

XHC will rock everyone's socks when they come back and release the new wallet. Pick some up now while you can.

My wallet keeps saying, Staking - zero seconds to next reward and nothing is happening. Wallet is encrypted and unlocked. 13 connections and up to date. Shouldn't I be seeing staking/minting transactions? I do with other POS coins. Or has that not truly started yet? I am very excited to see what happens with this coin. Thanks to the dev's that have brought some life back.

The 7th marks 10 days, so either the 7th or the 8th Jarvis should be back  8)

It would be nice to keep Bittrex, but does it really matter, there's a reason they keep delisting, the volume is not there for this coin, IT WILL BE THERE LOSS!! There is ok volume on Poloniex and I haven't seen them threaten to delist it. I don't think Poloniex will, I feel Poloniex wants this coin to succeed seeing alot of people where scammed from the previous dev. If Jarvis and the community come through maybe we can pickup Mintpal or Cryptsy, All we need is to have something great and something they see as a big money maker to them and we'll be added, How awesome would that be! So let Bittrex loss out, just like all the other impatient people out there. Jarvis will come through for us in due time!!  ;D

I'd have to agree with Bitkeeper on this. Move your coins to Polo and call it good. Its seen some action, albeit not a lot, but some. Its trading about 0.01+ BTC per day on Polo which should be enough to sustain it.

We need to run a contest giveaway with Polo and get some interest in this coin. Would love to see a nice 1k+ price on this coin... eventually going higher.

Where has ISAWHIM been  ??? He used to be very active with restoring this coin and very close to Jarvis...

The comments That I just spent 20 minutes deleting are why XHC is having problems. Here are the facts!

1. I restored the coin for the community because of the previous devs scam.
2. I spent several weeks trying to get the exchanges to re-activate the XHC market for the community! (Not an easy task.)
3. Once the exchanges got re-activated the majority of people sold all prior holdings. Buy volume was non existent.
4. The community requested a 2 year mining period against my wishes. This allowed for miners to continuously dump on the exchanges.
5. I requested community help and responsibilities for members. No one stepped up. Some said they would help but never actually did anything besides talk and no continued development donations.
6. I requested the hate mail & negative spam to stop but it only increased causing continuous damage.
7. I held no XHC 2.0 coins so I could have never dumped. I got scammed on the XHC 1.0 coins and sold remaining for a .235 BTC gain that I used for XHC 2.0 Development.
8. I offered a community skype conference and no one showed up except for a developer that was referred to me by a community member. When I asked for his assistance.. He would only work on XHC for Bitcoins and was to busy to donate his time for the community.

I volunteered my time and I did my part... I got the coin rebuilt and got it re-listed on the major exchanges & pools. Since there was no volume on the exchanges, any upgrades to the wallet are irrelevant because exchanges were just going to delist it as they don't spend time upgrading wallets when there is no volume, They delist them. The Market decided this! not me as those are external factors outside of my control. I believe the main reason was due to the negative spam comments and prior history with XHC.

The treatment and misplaced blame I received on this coin was disgusting and I recommend that any future developers proceed with extreme caution when restoring a coin, as you run the risk of being associated with a prior negative condensation as well as the previous developers gang of trolls. I did this to build reputation not loose it :(

I will be on Skype tomorrow at 10AM PST as a last attempt to find someone who will take over the XHC development, the attacks pointed to me while misplaced, just end up hurting XHC. If no one shows up from the community to take over then this will be my last attempt to help despite the trolls.

ISAWHIM Vanished after the coin was relisted on the exchanges, as well as many other proclaimed helpers.

Edit 2014 of aug 26th (No one showed up on Skype again) I official pass development over to the community due to lack of real community engagement and threats.
