How does the “30% of our profits given back” work?

This is very simple. Many other gambling houses require you to invest to reap the rewards of the house. We give that to you for free. Every 24 Hours 30 % of the House’s Profits are evenly distributed to the current active user base for you to either withdraw or carry on playing. That’s your call. All you are required to do is play at least once in that currency with either free coins, or deposited coins.

When you click on Max, it should set the bet as your max balance (within the allowed max bet range of teh current game) At this moment, it sets the bet to max allowed on the current game. Kind of annoying.

Typically sites will describe the system they use so the player can check it out before they play.

The site doesn't accept 0 bets either, so I can't find any details about the system you're using without first depositing. Is that what you intended?

We will also be implementing free rolls, and a whole range of other tweaks and changes requested by the community.

I was a little skeptical yesterday, but I just logged now and the 30% share was about 0.0015. It is bigger than I expected.

I've replied with my deposit address.

The screenshot is a little worrying though:

1) I see I can set my client seed, but I don't see anything giving me the hash of the server seed before I roll. Am I missing something, or do you get to pick the server seed after I pick the client seed?

2) The screenshot suggests that the outcome of the roll depends on the time (to the millisecond) that the roll hit the server. You could adjust that timestamp 10 milliseconds in either direction without detection to pick the outcome you like. It's a bad idea to use timestamp in the roll generation if you want to be considered provably fair.

I love the site, just a few minor things i think you can improve on.

What i Like

• Daily profit ;D ;D ;D ;D
• Look and feel of the site
• Games are awesome. I really enjoy the Edendice game and the lotto
• Withdrawals are instant

What i don't like

• Chat Crashes
• The auto bet needs some tweaking. If on a winning streak increase or decrease my bet needs to be an option

I don't like provably fair dices that use a time variable as it don't allow the user to truly verify that his bet hasn't been changed by the casino. Luckynumber.me uses the same time system and you don't have any way to verify that the roll you made is exactly the roll that should has happenned.

Also when I click max, it should allow me to bet my max balance the bet amount goes to 1 btc.

timestamp AND provably fair dont go together. Simple as that. If you want to be considered and advertise that you are provably fair, you need to find another way, and NOT with timestamp. easy as that.

Note that i DONT say that you are NOT fair OR that you are cheating in any way, i am just telling you that you cannot say you are PROVABLY fair with using timestamps.

“30% of our profits given back” - sounds attractive but not so, that means that the house edge will be 0.007 instead of 0.001, thats all.

The dice house edge is 1%. We are awarding 30% of our total site profits evenly distributed between our player base. Regardless if you make 1 bet, or 1000. It does not pertain to each individual bet, if it did the house edge would be 0.7% or 0.007 not 0.01. You have one too many zero's in there.  :) Either way its an advantage to the player.

when i use opera mini for using the site, when i press every button the page don't reload and it's appears to me a file for download named login.php , after i need to put on url tab edendice.com to be in to the site. and it's the same proble over all the site, every time i need to reload the pages to see the results

Yes, as it currently stands all you are required to do is to place a single bet the day before to be eligible. We will be changing this in future however. The more you bet / wager the more you will get back from the 30%.

In my opinion, this approach of handling the 30% site profit sounds more fair to the gamblers. :)

For the site itself, I am sure the owner wants people to bet as much as possible instead of wanting people to log in and make one tiny bet every day.
For the gamblers, the more you bet, the more you will lose to the site (statistically speaking, house edge % * wagered amount) and so it is fair IMO for big gamblers to get a larger share.

Maybe this 100 bets to get share isn't bad idea. It would make those 1 bet per day users play more and it wouldn't give whales chance to get profit share if they play few bets and leave the game.

i think base on amount wager and distribute base on it might be a better option.. 100 bets, people can simply bet 1 sat for each bet

Sure, it's the safest idea. But in case they have to play 100 bets they would have to stay on page and really wait for those bets to happen. Otherwise somebody could do 10 BTC bet and take all the profit on site (it's just an example).

I agree. Eden have done something great for the community. I think its fair to implement either 100 bets before you are eligible for the daily profit share.

Another thing you can do is the server can do a random roll from 1 to 1000 and then send users the notification when they log in. In order to be eligible for the daily profit share you need to fulfill the bet requirements.
 

Maybe set a min number of bets (eg. 100) together with a min number of bitcoin wagered (eg. 0.01 btc).
For anyone satisfying both the two requirements, they will get the same share.

This is really stupid post. If you really had any problems you should send message to admin via their support email and send him proofs and all info you have on your problem. Then you should wait for reply. If they didn't reply to you for more then 24 hours you should have tried sending them message here or post normal and quality post, not this crappy post without explanations.

How does the lottery work?

i dont understand,how did u end up minus balance?did u use the autobet function? when i try to bet over my balance it gives me an error,wich tells me not enough funds.also are u still able to bet now beiing minus?

I bet one less satoshi then it accepted it, kinda weird. When I want to max it out, it's easy to copy my balance and paste it into the bet.

I had similar problem. There was only 1 satoshi left on my account and I couldn't bet at all. I got same error message as you do on that picture. And it would be good if those max button option would work properly.

He flamed bitdice. He came in did 20 rolls on 41% win chance and started flaming and accusing the site of being rigged because he didnt get 5-10 greens from 20 rolls. And yes, he only made 20 rolls.
And now this exact same thing in Eden.
He has no idea how the rolling works and that every roll has a random chance of being any number.

Their provably fair code checks out for me, so if you've verified your rolls and it's all good, then you were simply unlucky. Rigging a system like this is theoretically possible, but would require a great, unrealistic expense in time and today's hardware, especially if you've set your own client seed.

People tend only to notice odd patterns when they're losing. Try auto flat betting 0.00000001 on 2x payout 10k times and watch the bets - chances are that you'll see many long streaks of wins and losses and unusual patterns.

However, I do recommend that Edendice offers the option to choose to bet low/high. Without such an option, there will always be concern from some that the server seeds have been rigged to favour low numbers.

No, I understand what you're saying about the amount of similar rolls. It's possible that this is a side effect of the type of PRNG the site uses. However, if you have set your own client seed, then it's obvious from the way the provably fair system works that Eden could not deliberately rig the game to favour a particular range of numbers.

It's obvious that you don't understand the way the provably fair system works. The server seed is the same for every roll you make until you choose to change it. The client seed is up to you and can be changed without affecting the server seed, so as long as you change it once after generating a new server seed, Eden has no way of changing the future rolls based on it, and so there's no need to change it for every roll. The only thing which changes with every roll is the bet number, and as long as that is consistent, there is no tampering by Eden.

It's unlikely that Eden is rigging this at all - the site would have made a much larger profit if they did :) - but assuming that you do set your own client seed, it's practically impossible for Eden to rig it. In order to do so they would need to precompute server seeds which are skewed towards lower numbers for the majority of potential client seeds. There are far too many possible client seeds for that to be realistically possible to do for even a single server seed.

I can understand with all of the scandal lately that people are more skeptical now than usual. Thank you LtPaxIV, flippy and Spoink for the vote of confidence.
