It's all speculation, and you should've learned by now that we don't necessarily need some news for the price to go up or down. If it did that we should be skyrocketing right now with all the good news and merchants getting involved recently.

That is because they are often baseless guesses. The only thing that can be said with certainty is that when the price is going down supply is outpacing demand.

Who is this guy? There are hundreds (or maybe thousands) of speculations through the forum, it's normal that someone can predict the right price. As compared to the past, they have divert more mined BTC to pay the operational bills in whatever local currency. This is currently overriding the commercial dissemination of BTC.

These kind of warning make it less likely that consumers will want to buy and use bitcoin as they fear they will get scammed out of their money. I do think it's the cause of the price drop, but long term it should have little effect. |
