Hello Everyone,

Unfortunately I have to terminate my discounts on Gaw products due to their new ToS which forbids me from handing them out. It has been a fun ride and I hope everyone finds the HashStakers and HashBase system to be useful in this world of forever increasing altcoin difficulties and low payouts in Proof of Work systems. I'm new to Proof of Stake systems myself and will be personally checking out the HashStaker and Paycoin to see if there is good benefit.

How can they guarantee the service to always profitable?

Coin price go up and down and many will eventually go bust. Can they guarantee long term survivability of scrypt coins?

When they say "always profitable" what they mean is that the miners will always make more BTC than they will charge you for hosting it. It doesn't mean that you will get the BTC back that you invested in their hardware. Which basically means that eventually they will charge you fractions of a penny a day so that the BTC earned/day > BTC price for hosting/day.

Don't think that you will definitely get all your BTC back that you paid for the hardware.

I received some PM"s today about the $10 off gawminers coupon. I was informed by GAW that currently discount codes only work for orders over $150. They won't be able to offer new discount codes or lower the $150 minimum until they get their new website all settled in, but hopefully this upcoming week they will be able to add some new discounts for us.

Seems like the WELCOMETOGAW discount code only works for new accounts. I tried it again today and it did not work when I tried to buy more.

Unfortunately GAW Miners just released a message today stating that they are now discontinuing all current discount codes. In a week or so they will re-instate discount codes for their other products, but they will NOT work on their hashlets :(

Did they raise price 10 dollars per hash in last day or so? Looks like 24.99 now for 1 MHz hashlet.

I might be kicking myself for not buying a few I was waiting to see what happens long-term with the zenpool.  Their payout just seemed to good to be true on regular mining.

Yes, Gaw Miners have now disabled all coupon codes on all of their products. In a week or so when they do end up giving out discount codes again, hashlets will no longer be eligible for any of their standard discounts.

With that being said if you are planning to buy hashlets and would like a discount from me personally just follow the instructions in the OP and PM me.

1) i was browsing through some garage sales( local forum from malaysia) and i saw someone selling their antminer s1 few months back, so i do some studies and i decided to give it a try, that is how i end up as a small time miner, and hence all those setup problems that i encountered, i google the solution and all point to bitcointalk.

1) What made you recently get into bitcoins?  I started by building a mining rig early this year.  That was fine for a couple months but girlfriend started complaining about heat and noise which I cant really blame her.  Relocated miner which bought me some time but low profits drove me to look for another way to get my mining fix :)
2) How did you hear about GAW Miners? A while ago I saw a thread talking about $600 Falcon with 3 free months hosting.  Before this I was not aware of cloud mining like this and started looking into GAW Miners.  I only regret not buying these hashlets when they came out a month ago :(
3) How did you find my thread?  Recently looking into a large hashlet purchase (which I ended up doing) but was looking for coupons or discounts to use on the purchase.  Googled "gaw miner discount" and this was like the 2nd or 3rd result.

Katak, your screen shot shows purchases made back in August 17th, which was weeks before I even had this deal available. If you would like any BTC back I need to know:

1. What dates you made the purchases
2. What the total purchase amounts were on those dates
3. What country your from
4. And now since you are trying to claim refunds on purchases that could not have been made through me (August 17th predates this thread) I need to know the last 3 digits of your IP so I can verify they were indeed made by you.

If everything checks out I can get your BTC for the purchases made through my link, but I cannot give refunds on purchases that were made before I even made the link...\

Depends on your payment method and CC company if you use a CC.
For me it was anywhere from instantly to ~15 mins to get my hardware codes.

The BEST deal on hashlets is to buy 1MHs of some cheap hashlet and use the 5% discount from autopurchase in the zencloud.  But Hashlets are so overpriced not that they can't ROI like they used to.  Unless GAW doubles the hashrate on all hashlets there are much cheaper solutions out there.  Cheaper as in $4/MHs shipping now.  Do your research.

Seeing as HashPoints will be used for more than just a discount when buying from the ZenCloud I'd keep your balance in your GAW Zencloud wallet.
Soon you can "buy" boosts for your Solo Hashlets with HashPoints ... maybe other stuff too? We'll see in the future :)

Of course if you have a shitload of BTC I'd play it safe and just keep 1 or 2 max in there... or whatever you feel comfortable with.

Just my thought.
I have all my BTC in there, but that's cause I don't even have 1.0 BTC .. just small amount so far :P

Getting the hash points is nice and may allow you to do other stuff in the future besides just buying more miners. But honestly I am a firm believer in owning my bitcoins on my private PC where only I have the private keys. So my advice is maybe accumilaye a few days of mining on the zen cloud then withdrawal to your private BTC wallet. That way you don't take a huge risk if something happens to Gaw AND you still get a few hash points little by little.

I just wouldn't want anyone to get "Goxxed". So I suggest trying to withdraw at least until 100% ROI then maybe reinvest the future earnings or whatever else you have in mind.

why is the payout so low lately?

why are pay outs so low? I thought I would it least be pulling in a penny a day. Im literally pulling in under a penny a day. 6 fractions of a penny. what gives?

Gaw is working on new contracts for their zenpool mining IPO coins. But just as a heads up for the other scrypt mining pools, as time goes on difficulty goes up and payouts become less. With this less BTC/Day/MH Gaw will continue to lower the hashlet prices accordingly, which explains why now you can get hashlets for as low as $6.95 per MH, which is FAR better than Antminer's Scrypt miners coming out since they will take time to deliver.

Well right now each MH of scrypt mining is paying out $0.011 a day after fees. It has come down quite a bit due to difficulty increases. Gaw will have to lower their $0.08/MH/Day fee very soon otherwise the miners technically won't be "profitable for ever".

I wish I had a better answer for you, but it really comes down to GAW fees HAVE to come down soon and the fact that only having 1 MH of scrypt mining nowadays isn't enough.

You want to have at LEAST 10 MH/s of scrypt mining nowadays to make about $1/Day. And we need gaw to reduce or restructure their fees.

I've got 20 MH/s and I'm only getting .0049 BTC/day before fees, unbelievable.

Well the 0.0049 BTC/Day is exactly right for 20 MH of scrypt mining power. You can verify that on coinwarz.com. Difficulty of scrypt mining is going up fast (much like most mining difficulties) and thus more MH are needed to mine the same amount of BTC/day.

The problem is that each MH is making about $0.08 per day and the fee Gaw charges for mining is still $0.08 per day (so you basically net nothing). I have sent my contact at GAW an email about their need to reduce the hosting fee. I'm hoping for a response on Monday.

Please let us know their response.

All of their focus is on Hashcoin, Primes, and Hashbase.  They are introducing another hashlet soon as well, so I am afraid they are not really worried about the Solo Hashlets profitability other than Zen.

Talked to my contact and he got back to me today. They are currently working on re-structuring the payout and the fees, but its "in the works" and they don't have any finalized plan yet.

I have a funny feeling they may be switching everything over to hashpoints and incorporating it all into their new system, which may also have gift cards built into it and potentially a debt card down the road. --But that is just speculation on my part.

I'm hoping that they just restructure their fees to being a lot less and per every 10MH rather than per 1MH.

Fees being nearly equal to mining reward has just been a problem over this past week or so due to difficulty increases of scrypt coins, so it's unfortunate that this has come up, but it had not been a problem for me before 1 week ago.

Hashbase/hashcoin is most likely launching in just less than 6 days so at least wait it out to see if payouts get better or what the new system exactly entails. I can tell you this though, everytime GAW has released an update with improved features that the price usually goes UP, so if you believe they will stay legit in the future, buying their hardware sooner rather than later is usually a better deal.



1. They are developing a new hashbase and hashcoin system that will be completely replacing the scrypt/BTC miners
2. They most likely won't be adjusting fees until their new system is launched
3. The hashbase/hashcoin will be integrated with retailers and will have it's own debit card.
4. Hashcoin will have an ICO in 6 days (which is probably why they are not bothering to change fees yet).
5. My contact doesn't have any other information at this point, but he will keep me updated and I will be updating the users of this forum.

The HashStakers will have 0 fees! and their profitability will NOT be affected by difficulty increases like most coins out there.

I really hope GAW can do some restructuring to get maintenance fees below Scrypt hashlet payouts again. Based on the rates of the past few days, basically any Scrypt miner cheaper than a ZenHashlet will on average net zero (or the default 1) satoshis per day. Not great for current owners. '~'

Gaw has told me that they will be allowing hashlets to upgrade to the HashStakers which have 0 fees, forever. Only question then will be if the upgrade is free (hopefully) or not.

Is the hash taker just a pos wallet? How does this pay? Just it the gaw coin?

Tip: don't even think about giving money to these kind of 'businesses'. Waste your savings on something more satisfying, like weed or alcohol.

From what I gather the HashStaker will be a PoS wallet that will generate PayCoins, which can then be used through a debit card to make purchases or can be exchanged for BTC. I won't know too much more before it all goes live and then I update everyone.
