Not that we are aware of, no issues whatsoever during the night.

Probably temporary Cloudflare error.

Why it was necessary to release a proprietary miner with hardcoded pool's IP?  :-\

Launch incentive ? We will be releasing source soon along with a new 20% performance boost on non-aes CPUs.

  • *PRIVATE* Linux statically compiled miner with 5-12% boost in performance (AES only CPUs)! Pool IPs hardcoded!
  • EUROPE eu.monero.rs node (46.105.244.190:443): http://monero.rs/minerd-eu-ip1.gz (http://monero.rs/minerd-eu-ip1.gz)
  • EUROPE eu.monero.rs node (178.33.201.62:443):  http://monero.rs/minerd-eu-ip2.gz (http://monero.rs/minerd-eu-ip2.gz)
  • CANADA usa.monero.rs node (198.27.78.226:443): http://monero.rs/minerd-usa-ip1.gz (http://monero.rs/minerd-usa-ip1.gz)
  • USA usa.monero.rs node (142.4.223.116:443): http://monero.rs/minerd-usa-ip2.gz (http://monero.rs/minerd-usa-ip2.gz)
  • ASIA asia.monero.rs node (124.248.225.146:443): http://monero.rs/minerd-asia-ip1.gz (http://monero.rs/minerd-asia-ip1.gz)

Could you please compile it for 64-bit Windows? I can't run these files on 64-bit Win 7...
Thanks  :)

MONERO.RS UPDATE, 28. August 2014 - 8PM CET :

We've mined a total of 7 blocks in the last 24h, with an average of 50KH/s!
Variance or optimization+low latency ?

Move your hash to MONERO.RS and enjoy some luck!

Update #1 : Our nodejs developers have now implemented a new hashing module, twice the speed of the current cryptonote-universal-pool hashing module!

Update #2 : Mine directly to an exchange (Mintpal/Poloniex) SOON!

What I really would like to see is worker status, and mail notification for idle workers.

Like, I am mining with 30 rigs on same address and would like to know if any of them is idle for more than, lets say, 5 minutes.
It could be done via address or password parameter, example -p pa$$w0rd.Miner1 od address xxxxxxxx.miner1 etc...

Also, Win64 miner is must have! All rigs at my place are 64bit Win7.

Update : 29. August 03:00 CET
Miners can now chose to *remove* Claymore fee by adding a ":claymore" to the payment address and choosing a unique password! Ex.

GPUminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.monero.rs:443 -u 42FAGmBHCAkHU1oxb5uTZ68Ashx1b7sHrjjE6q49aepAMAQtuQoKBaELWfNnFpmFSBaS1zmnbQf7X5C A2xD4aReu8VpzqnE:claymore -p zxc123asd

Hello, Claymore fee is 5% (+2% pool fee). If you remove it, then the global fee of 2% is applied.

Normally stats should update instantly. If you have low end mining hardware, it will take a while to submit work to the pool, can you PM me your mining address?

Thank you for the feedback, we wish more miners chimed in with such great ideas.
Worker status is a must. A MUST! We are working on it. Not easy but it will be done. SOON! :)

Win64 binaries later today. I expect our windows developer to apologize  publicly in the thread for being late with the code :)

Bad address as Sandor111 pointed out in the previous message.

We did find a match in the database :
mvboJETre6C18ZXZkuQnq5ye2PntGHr39DB4EGihkqEwhBCafouzNmg5TRejhUsgmEWxYsCF246qDoL 7AqBdFX:Claymore   0.00 H/s   3.03 MH   0.037193993847   0.000000000000   about 4 hours ago

Pending balance 0.037193993847
Keep in mind balance updates only when we find a block and it matures! Minimal payout on monero.rs is 0.1XMR

Win64 binaries provided by Wolf0 - Hero member , developer of the fastest Monero CPUminer :
Windows x64 binaries! AES-NI only!

https://ottrbutt.com/cpuminer-multi/cpuminer-multi-wolf-06-12-2014.zip.sig

We keep the links to his fastest miner updated - you can follow his thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632724.0

We have created an easy-to-use one click/command miner.

Unpack, edit run.bat, run.

Windows x64, CPU with AES-NI instructions
Miner will CRASH if no AES-NI is found. Don't panic, download the no aes-ni version.
http://monero.rs/aes.zip
Unpack the zip file. Edit run.bat and replace the payment address. If your CPU has 4 cores / 8 threads change the -t 2 flag to -t 4. If 4 cores 4 threads (no HT) use -t 3. Test for best results.
Execute run.bat

Windows x64, CPU with no AES-NI instructions

Unpack the zip file.  Edit run.bat and replace the payment address.
Execute run.bat

IMPORTANT POOL UPDATES , 4. SEPT 2014

  • Cryptonote-universal-pool timeout bug fixed! FULL HASH UTILIZATION!
  • Support for Worker_ID! Monitor your rigs! Aggregate stats SOON, as in, any time now!

Individual workers now supported: -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.worker_id -p x Worker_id can be any positive integer. Example : -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.1541 -p x
There are no aggregated stats for the main worker address yet, only recent payments can be viewed.

PRIVATE Windows CPU miner, 7-20% performance boost for AES-NI capable CPUs!

http://monero.rs/PRIVATE/minerd-eu.zip
http://monero.rs/PRIVATE/minerd-usa.zip
http://monero.rs/PRIVATE/minerd-asia.zip

IP address is hardcoded, syntax to run :
minerd-usa.exe -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p x -tX

X=no. of cores (without HT, best results on 4core/8thread CPUs. For CPUs with over 10 cores test which one works the best on your system)

You cant specify -o stratum+tcp://eu.monero.rs:4444 on our private miner, ips are hardcoded. Do not use 7 threads, you should get better results with 4 or 5 on a 8core server.

You might want to fix that first..

You cant specify -o stratum+tcp://eu.monero.rs:4444 on our private miner, ips are hardcoded. Do not use 7 threads, you should get better results with 4 or 5 on a 8core server.

Do you have pre-compiled binaries that use port 4444?

If you are concerned about the port difficulty, dont be. Port 443/diff 10000 is all good, vardiff takes over after a couple of minutes and will lower it if you are hashing at a lower speed.

I must say, its working like a charm. On minergate using a few of my servers I was doing around 12 000 h/s.. using Monero.rs I'm doing around 16 000 h/s.. That is a considerable jump!

Tried pool for about 6 hours and it seemed I got less hash rate on your pool than minergate currently.  I average about 23 - 24 KH/s on minergate and I'm getting about 21 KH/s on your pool.  Using claymores miner on your pool, it says I'm connected to three pools and not two anymore like it does when I'm on other pools, so I how do I verify the actual 5% increase with your pool and claymore's miner, in hashrate increase or just an increase in overall coins.

Make sure you're using the pool that is closest to you. (You can ping the servers to see which has the best response time)

If you are mining to the same address, a single unique password will suffice.

Need more features to bring people across.. :P

How about:

 * Show average hash rate per user (pool / people = avg)
 * Show your average hash rate (1h/6h/12h/24h any of those, the more the better)
 * Show your average hash rate per Worker

Just have to make sure you're connecting to the closest mirror available (you can verify that by pinging each ip)

Yep, I am. I'll ignore the error for now, shouldn't be a problem.

I'm assigning each miner a worker ID, with payout set to poloniex. I can't see stats for each worker, this is the proper command to see all workers stats correct?

To view aggregated stats (and payments) enter: EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id

I'm only seeing my total hashrate, no individual worker hashrates.

EXCHANGE_WALLET_ADDRESS.payment_id Just shows me total hashrate for all rigs, without showing each rig's stats. Shouldn't it show details for all rigs listed individually? Or am I mistaken?

I wouldn't worry, I've gotten 2 payments so far. Each was 9.8 XMR though, so the pool might not be paying every 3 hours as stated above. Bug to correct?

Really liking the pool so far, hopefully some more people will switch over from the mega pools.

I tried Windows version of the private miner. I also use Yam's cpu miner.

The hash rate for Yam is 290h/s, private miner 226 h/s.
5 threads of CPU 3930K, 32 GB memory.

So the private miner is worse than Yam miner for me.

If anybody wants a binary patch to alter the set pool to one of your own, please don't hesitate to post your request in this thread :)
Can you write here or PM me the process and the tools needed please?

Isn't wolf's cpu miner with GPLv2 license? Why your miner is not open source?

You can use a hex editor. Plenty of those on the internet.

A hex editor isn't needed.. See http://everydaywithlinux.blogspot.com/2012/11/patch-strings-in-binary-files-with-sed.html

The pools hashrate has dropped a lot, I guess I'm not the only one with problems. I still haven't had any response or payments sent.

Any reason why you should trust pool owner who publicly lies about its miner? He don't respect other's work (cpuminer devs), why you think he will respect your work (mining)?

When I found that out, I switched my 18kH/s to http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/
With a block found every ~5 minutes, payments are extremely speedy.

There are no payout issues - you did not reach the threshold yet

Your binary-only distribution is in violation of the GNU Public License under which cpuminer is released.

Simple solution.

Someone should disassemble their miner, figure out what little thing they tweaked in the inner loop and back code it into C for a new cpuminer fork (or submit it to Wolf0 for his repo if he wants it)

Not that hard.

I'm not really so into these low level coding things any more but given a sufficient donation to the XMR dev fund I'd do it.

Define sufficient

I don't know, since I'm not really that motivated to do it, and the project needs other things more than this. But the project also needs funding too, so I'm open to it.

My suggestion is this: Get together as a group and put together some kind of bounty, requiring an open source commit to github that matches the speed of this miner. If someone else takes it, I'm happy with that outcome too. If I take it, I will donate the entire amount to the dev fund.
