Someone should disassemble their miner, figure out what little thing they tweaked in the inner loop and back code it into C for a new cpuminer fork (or submit it to Wolf0 for his repo if he wants it) Not that hard. I'm not really so into these low level coding things any more but given a sufficient donation to the XMR dev fund I'd do it. Define sufficient I don't know, since I'm not really that motivated to do it, and the project needs other things more than this. But the project also needs funding too, so I'm open to it. My suggestion is this: Get together as a group and put together some kind of bounty, requiring an open source commit to github that matches the speed of this miner. If someone else takes it, I'm happy with that outcome too. If I take it, I will donate the entire amount to the dev fund. |
