Title: Anyone else buying?
Post by: SilentJohn on September 19, 2014, 01:07:51 PM
I've been staggering purchases since this afternoon (Asia) from 420 down to 380.

Probably bought another 100 or so coins in the last 12 hours...

you should probably wait, price might go down even more up until 1st of October

You are very fortunate to have so much disposable fiat currency wealth.

Thanks for the warning... I have some price points where i'll continue to buy to lower my average buying prices.

Just don't want to miss the opportunity if it (and it should) take a sharp rebound :)

No doubt about rebound, remember fiat move way too slow compared to bitcoin. It can take couple days for funds come in.

What's happening then?

the end/begging of the US fiscal year. Someone proposed that this bitcoin price drop is due to americans wanting to pay their taxes (which must be payed in US dollars). I don't know if it is the only reason for bitcoin price drop, but definitely  it does have some influence on the price being lower

Most new investors buy into bitcoin around this time of last year. Due to capital gain tax, they prefer to wait for a year for lower tax rate, and since the price has been slowly declined, they decided to cash out now to gain bit of profit.

However this price point is where last bubble started, and miners are not willing to sell at loss. So market will reverse.

There are many more "traditional" Fiat Wales (or at least a tuna) like myself that have been watching Bitcoin for quite a while.

Expect many more of us in the very near future... ;)

They will sell at a loss, because there is no choice!

That's the Governments fiscal year, but don't most individuals use the Calendar year?

governments don't give a shit about calendar year. Pay your taxes by the end of the fiscal year or go to jail - thats governments logic.

"Averaging down" is not a good strategy. Avoiding bitcoin completely is the best strategy. There is zero indication that we will ever reach an ATH again, and in another few weeks, people will likely be wishing that they had sold at $350!

Fools and hopers are buying in decline. Not like you weren't told to short instead.

Just wait for a bit for tears to start rolling on foolish advise for not listening to professionals  :'(

Given the amount of time you spend trolling this forum, I highly doubt that you are anything but a professional b*tch.

Just to dampen your mood a little:

1, I just picked up another large batch of cheap coins

2, I'm hodling indefinitely so that desperate hyenas (very much like yourself) who place a short position on the technological and innovative progress don't ever get a chance to make a quick buck

3, I'm catching the falling knife because I'm about to pad my mitts with all the money that you're about to lose from failing to close your position early enough... enjoy bankruptcy and I hope you kept enough to feed the wife and kids

Back on the ban a$$ wipe.

Bought some too.

I know that there are chances of touching $300 or even $2xx, but if so, so I'll just buy more.
Chances of $340 being the floor in this year are even higher.

I've done the same in the moments of despair in late spring and late summer of 2013 and now I'm rewarded with 7-fold gains.

Anyway, I only spend amounts that I can afford to lose.

Wrong. It is best to follow a strategy that is not based on emotions. This means buying low and buying high. In the end as long as an ATH is reached again, which it will, you will profit tremendously.

Investing is most profitable if you get in before it starts going up.
This means you should always get in ahead of the crowd.

You will never ever get anywhere because you follow the sheeple or just bitch on people sticking out their neck. You add 0 value to this forum with such comments!!!
Truth is that a few of the people that succeed will become millionaires and you will remain a useless troll on a forum!!

It's a losing trade when I sell them.. seeing as I am 28 and plan to sell around 60.. I've got 32 years.. I'll bet $1k silver is worth more in 32 years than it is right now.. although.. hosting a 32 year bet is kinda crazy.

PM's are my savings account,
Crypto is my high risk investment.
