Simply state the fact without details, but offer up as much detail as you wish if another user inquires (or questions) more information. There should be no reason to call out another user for lying, for in their mind, at least, the fact occurred. Do feel free to detail your stated fact if you have the urge to do such in your initial post if you don't want to wait, or expect, another user to request more information. One more thing. Try to keep it to one fact per post.

Of course, I'll start it off with a little known fact about myself.

I once dated a woman that was a direct decedent of Lizzie Borden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lizzie_Borden). (WOW! First time in a long time I've looked at a pic of Lizzie, and just now realize how much Carol resembles her.)

Basically, you called me out on this one, so I'll explain. It was at a Cracker Barrel in Nashville. We all had breakfast together, albeit I was a different table.

But the fact about being in/on Barbara Mandell's bed while she was in her bedroom is 100% fact. I was standing on her bed repairing the drywall on the ceiling. She was standing in the doorway, half in/half out. While watching me, her husband, Ken Dudney, was about to land his helicopter outside the bedroom window. I looked at the helicopter, then at Barbara, back at the Heuy, then once again at Barbara, whereupon I asked her, "Under the bed and in the closet?" She chuckled, and walked away.

In fact your second option is something that doesn't even exist where I live.
