We have the pleasure to present to the BTCtalk community our new creation. A new physical Bitcoin coin that acts as a wallet, like the well known Casascius coins. This is the legacy of our previous Dogecoin series.

Face value is 10.000 bits (0.01 BTC), once you receive the coin we will fund them with that quantity. (We ship from and are based in Europe, so no legal problems)

Hologram is the same as series 1 Dogecoin, but with a Bitcoin address (Will update pic later)

What does the broken chain symbolize? The chains of fiat being broken?

Review: Crypto Imperator Bitcoin Physical coins (Normal edition)

The coins are very well packed and comes in plastic flips, the public adr. is included on a paper-slip.

The coins I have received has an overall better mint than a average DOGE coin; less fabrication scuffs and less traces of zinc residual.
However this could be a coincidence, since I have only two coins in hand to evaluate.
Looking forward to receive my special edition coins, they should be even better since they are hand picked from the batch.

Overall
Overall a great coin at a reasonable price.
I think this is a worthy follow up to the DOGE Coin.
 
The denomination (0.01 BTC) is a perfect choice for this coin.
It can be argued if BTC should have been used instead of bits, since the term "bits" is not too well known by people outside the bitcoin community.
Nevertheless, I think the 10000 bits work out well for this coin, since it is a follow up on the 10000 DOGE coin.

I have bough many coins from Crypto Imperator, I have always paid up front with no escrow.
Crypto Imperator always deliver as promised.

Oh man, you guys are making me anxious to get mine! Love all of the beautiful cryptos, and I've actually went on somewhat of a coin buying spree lately, because I now work way too many hours at my new job, and can actually afford to get some of the awesome coins I've been desiring for a while.

I've liked all of Crypto Imperator's so far, and they've been great to me by saving me back a few of the Dogecoins and 1 of the L.E. Bitcoins until I could afford them, that way I didn't miss out. Keep up the good work C.I. and great customer service always leads to more return customers. I know I will keep coming back!

Just wanted to stop in and say that I got my #027 Bitcoin and my 3 airtites in the mail the other day! The 10,000 Bits coin looks fantastic, and my 2 Dogecoins look & feel nice in the airtites. The minting quality on both series of the CI coins has been almost flawless from what I've seen of it, and the holograms are obv. amazing!

All in all I would say Crypto Imperator makes some of the finest quality physical crypto coins for the price. I will hopefully be buying some more in the near future, and hope to see a third design sometime!

If you are on the fence about getting a physical bitcoin, I recommend snagging a couple of these before they sell out.  Nice size, very high quality, and affordable.  Cryptoimperator has great customer service and communication is excellent with his customers.  I don't work for them, just a satisfied customer reporting on my experience.

What is happening with the gold CI Dogecoins? I remember that you posted that minting would commence despite not all 10 spots being taken. I'm interested to know and see the result of the coin. How this physical coin act? I mean it is like cold storage or online storage? I am quite new about this so if anybody know more than do you mind to reply my questions.

We offer physical representations of crypto currency. Loaded with real coins, you can redeem them at any given time.
It is like cold storage, as the private key is contained in the coin not in an online server.

I just received the 10 10,000 bits coins I ordered.  They were well packaged and also each coin included a paper with the QR codes and public addresses. A nice addition to my collection.

I am kinda wishing I had ordered the plastic coin cases, as the basic ones do not allow them to be show off as nicely. I'll be sure to get them next time.

I have received 2 DIY coins just now :D

Overall the coins are sleek, lustrous and slighly heavier than most other physical coins (due to the zinc alloy)! Also the colour of hologram sticker matches with that of the coin and feels more prominent and solid. But I don't know whether they will rust if I use it with my bare hands (for normal usage I, generally won't like to wear cotton gloves everytime I tend to reveal it's private key for spending :P ) I need OP's view regarding this.

Also it would be more nice if the design of the DIY coins are slighly different than the funded ones because most of the DIY buyers generally won't store only 10,000 bits in them and if that denomination part is removed, the size of the bitcoin logo could have been eventually made larger :)

But I kinda love the look of the coins and feel more secured of the weight it imparts on my hand :P

I'm positive that you should read this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_mark (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_mark)) as it will explain that some countries use a period instead of a comma when delimiting.  

It is 10,000 bits (English delimiter) or 10.000 bits (European delimiter) which are both the same value (0.01BTC).




P.S.  Since these coins are DIY, I would just keep a paper wallet separate from the assembled coin if you want to redeem the funds at any time as you won't have to peel the hologram.  You won't even have to touch the coin.   ;)

After buying 2 coins (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=818791.msg12674094#msg12674094) I decided to keep one coin exposed and touch it normally with my bare hands everyday just for experimenting if it will corrode over time.

To my amazement, it's just as same as the other one (sealed) ! No scratches, oily marks - nothing! :o

Btw, can I get some stickers for them because I have redeemed BTC from one of them and the sticker is already tampered?

Me too. Never understood why people want to go with mBTC or even smaller denominations.

I personally prefer the BTC format. Never really got use to the bit (or mBit for that matter).
But I would be ok with either, since the previous coin was minted with Bits.

I think originally, the idea was to make the spoken words less of a clumsy mouthful when explaining BTC pricing, so you dont have to recite "zero point zero zero.....BTC". Sounds easier/better to say "two thousand millibit", for example.

It's the easiest way to understand the value of the coin (I have difficulty to use and understand lesser denomination like mBTC, uBTC, bits, etc...)

Im not 100% sure but  CI usually keeps #1 or Auctions it. I was chatting to him about mints and as soon as he mentioned the coin I said oh oh #2 please and he said ok. So will let him confirm everything. Thats why I said #2 and not #1.

I don't understand why coin numbers are being assigned already.  Shouldn't it be on a first come, first serve basis?  And the reservations start only when CryptoImperator himself announces it, either through a public announcement or private message/email to previous customers.

We are glad to see your interest in our new coin :), so much that you already started the pre-sale :P even before we announced anything.

Currently, we are giving the final touches to the coin design, and we expect it to enter production in the next two weeks. This will be a 25 coin, 1 Oz .999 Silver series. BTC Denomination to be announced as well as final design (We can't give all the details at once!)

Regarding the  the "wish-list" you already made, we appreciate it but we can't stick to it.
Our last silver coin, the so called "Super Doge" was sold out in less than 48h once we sent the email to past customers (all sold before releasing it to the public), and it is really sought after these days, fetching triple their original price...

We will try to sell them the fairest way and in a way for them to arrive to as many people as possible, but taking into account customers who have been trusting us since the beginning (Nearly two years have passed since we launched our fist coin)

I have bought 2 CryptoImperator coins already and they are just awesome. I am happy with the way it was designed. Minimalistic pleasure it was to hold such a coin. Even holding with bare hands does not leave any fingerprints. Hopefully I can get my hands on the newer edition. :D

The silver coins should be ready for dispatch in 4 weeks if everything goes as planned, we will start contacting previous customers progressively, starting by the Gold Doge buyers, during this week in order to ship them as fast as possible on arrival.
