Bear with me as my graphical skills are not the greatest and this is my first coin.  It is a simple scrypt coin


This coin will be for trading as well as in the use of a game I am developing.  As I do not want to premine the initial sales from this security will go to purchasing the coin on an exchange for bounties and for the second part of the project.  As well as a pool to mine it.  Half of the pool fees will be converted to BTC and payed as Dividends.  The other half of the pool fees will go towards the jackpot of the game.

The second part of the project is I am developing a web based game.

This will be a round based Army battle type game set in a fantasy world.  It will be broken down into 10 to 14 day rounds.  At the end of the round each player will have a "score" and the winner will get the jackpot.

Everyone will start out with a free account which will receive a certain number of turns to spend.  There will also be a subscription model where people will start out with a larger number of turns.  Turns will replenish over time (with a cap so they can't just log on and walk away for 10 days and come back with a huge amount) with the subscribers getting more per hour and a higher cap.

Free and Sub users will be able to purchase additional turns using a scrypt based Cryptocoin that I am currently developing, which will be released before the game is done.  The jackpot will be payed out in the coin of the game.  Half of all proceeds from sales of turns and subscriptions will go towards the Jackpot of the current round.  The other half will have operating expenses subtracted from it and the remaining balance payed out to shareholders (if a security is set up) and/or partners evenly.


There will be various aspects of the game at the start (more will be added later).  There will three fighting units and three production units.

Each turn spent will "recruit" a certain number of fighter and production units.

Each  is a category that they can choose to spend turns in.  They can spend as many as they want in whichever category that they want to but they have to take both the units in that category (no mix and match, IE no Bowmen and Mana producers).


There will be a "game currency" that they can sell producible at as well as buy different kinds of "gear" for their fighters.  This portion is still in drafting stage and have not decided on final items yet.  Each person can be attacked by another (as long as the person is not in the clan/guild if it is implemented) and if they are in the same "value range" so that as a high value cannot attack a low value.  This restriction will be lifted if it is a lower value person attacking a higher value.


To have your producers create things you will also have to spend turns.  Each thing created will have a "set amount" with a small variable added to it.  Eg. 100 farmers would produce 100 + random of 10% food.

At the end of the round the score will be decided using a scoring system where everything is given an in-game currency value. IE
(numbers are just for example, value still need to be decided and balanced out)
10 fighters would be 100 currency
15 mages would be 300 currency
1100 bread would be 1100 currency
10 swords (for the fighters) would be 50 currency

total currency = 1550 currency.  Which would be that persons score (actual numbers would be a lot higher).  In the case of a tie, the one with the most "fighting" units would win top spot.  2nd and 3rd place winners could also receive a "coin" price and those under that up to 10 would get "bonus turns" in their next game.


To avoid premine I intend to use funds drawn in from my security at https://coinsortium.co/security.php?ticker=FALD IF that fails, I will only premine for a short period before I open it to the public.  And it will only be for way less than 1% of total coins.

My goal in the future is to have games developed for each algo of coins out there that will use them with a culmination of my efforts into a final game that will be quite large with each region using its own "local currency" of each coin I develop.  As this is my first coin and a learning process for me I decided to do an easy scrypt coin.

Not sure how I feel about "Half of the pool fees will be converted to BTC and payed as Dividends".  I applaud your transparency, but that is just a gently way of saying "half of the pool fees will be dumped".

I plan on adding more details and screenshots as I finish up the front end of the games website.  And as for as "dumping of the fees, half will be for people that decide to invest in it on coinsortium, the other half will go towards the jackpot for the game.  Until the game is live the pool fees (minus cost of the pool) will go towards the dividends.

I wanted to get the coin launched a couple months in advance so that it can be mined and then I will be purchasing the coins back for the initial jackpot.

Sounds cool  :) This coin will not be too easy to mine but I'm still gonna put my small asic back to work and try and get a few in the early days. So you're saying you gonna have the game/website ready about 2 months after releasing the coin? I guess 2 months is ok but I think it's important that you don't wait too long because the crypto world moves fast and you need to keep people interested. Good luck!

I am hoping for it to be done BEFORE the first of the year.  I have a lot of the framework set up already but I like to estimate times longer so less people are disjointed

Self bump and wanting to explain my line of thinking since I seem to be getting the question "just a scrypt coin".


Yes I could have sat down and tried to come up with some innovative coin.  But there is only so much that people will be able to do with coins.  What I see for the future of crypto coins are games,  yes we have a few dice games and poker games out there, but there are very few full blown games that utilize cryptocurrencies.  I see coin devs and game devs working together make full games happen.  I am hoping that my coin will have value because it will be how things are purchased in the game.  If the game is popular, then my coin will be popular and those that mine it will pretty much be able to make some money off of the game(s) that I develop.

In the future I plan to have a coin of every algo and a game to go with it.  This game I chose scrypt.  Once I have a webgame of every algo and all the coins released (or at least 5 of them) will start working on my big project which will be a culmination of using all the coins ingame.

That re-target time is the problem. When working correctly that person with the 80 blocks mine would have gotten only 10-15 (2 min per block) and now we was going to be on block 50-80 max .

I guess you're on my pool, and yes, we've only got >100MH vs 4000MH and 1000MH compared to the other two pools.

in the code it was set for 2 minute blocks and re-target every 5 blocks (IE 10 minutes)  I think with the low difficulty it threw that off a little.  once the network smooths out it should work correctly.

heh, I'm the only one on my pool with 1 MHS and I have only found one block.

yeah I expected the diff to be stupid at first, but that it wouldn't take long to smooth out.  Overall I don't think it was TO bad of a launch other than having to go early.

I was pointed 4 miners, 85 MH/s first 5 minutes with diff 0.035 and then website falling down then I changed the pool, to x11-x13-pool with diff 0.25 and I received on hashlink.eu just 2 coins ??? and on x11-x13-pool I received 145 coins !!!!
This is not the first time that happened, I'm sorry but that pool is not good for start, for launching !!!
I was searching in the blocks to see what happened...just 2 or 3 miners are on the blocks from 7 of us....

We now setup block explorer because we are interested to find out some things

And apologies with the launch and admin paperwork to do I have not been able to work on the front end of the game.  It is still slated to be in beta by (or before) the first of the year.  Expect screenshots within two weeks.

Little bit behind schedule on getting the website finished due to wife being sick and increased hours at work.  So this coming weekend I am going to push what I have so people can "explore" the website.

coin is still being traded on https://betasharex.com/ but since there is not a lot of demand for it right now its harder to get it on other exchanges.  Hopefully all that will change after the first of the year when the website goes live.  I have a securities listing for people that want to invest at https://coinsortium.co/security.php?ticker=FALD I was going to use some of those funds raised there to pay someone to help me with some of the code but it has not drawn enough interest.  In the future I may do a "split" security on there and cryptostocks to hit a larger base of people.

I chose scrypt even tho I knew there were ascis for it.  But its what I wanted.  IN the long run I will have more coins in the other algos for my end purpose, but I need at least one or two of them to be easy to mine and able to get large amounts without setting a god awful high amount of coins per block.

not even sure its going to work at this point.  I had someone else create the coin for me and well, I don't think they did an optimal job.  I have it compiled on an amazon EC2, going to try to get my block file onto there and try to reindex since the one on amazon is sitting at block 0 and won't connect to my wallet.

It should be just fine - as soon as the mining starts again, the chain should be rolling.

It's probably best if you send the chain to me though. I'll PM you for the details.

account statistics page added, Recruitment page partially complete.  You can recruit warrior, archers and mages now.  Will add the rest, working on "attack" portion at the moment.  When that is complete will add the production portion.  Formulas are subject to change, just put in one for testing purposes and it is not final.

If you had an account before you will have to set up a new one.  Made some changes to the database

will be a delay as over the next two weeks I will be moving and have less time to work on the website.  But once I move the website and coin mining will become a full time job for me

Move is done, I don't have internet where I am at (in the sticks) but I will have access to the web guaranteed tuesdays and thursdays so web development will commence again.

Account creation, stats at bottom of screen and the "recruitment" process of the game is mostly operational. I plan on adding another part to the recruitment
part, but I have the fighting units completed (formulas may change as I balance them).Every turn spent will create between 3 to 6 fighting units of the selected time (will change for balancing purposes). The three types of fighting units currently are:
Fighters: low attack, high defense.
Mage: high attack, low defense.
Archer: mid attack, mid defense.

Right now the combat formula takes the full damage an army does and divides it among the defending army in the way of percentages. IE. if your army consists of 25% warriors, 25% archers and 50% mages that is how the damage will be spread out with your mages taking 50% of the damage (making it a very devistating fight for you as you will loose lots of troops). In the future this will change as I implement other factors into the battle and add bonuses for "certain army setups".Fixed bug that was not alowing to get past account creation. Turns every 10 minutes should be operational. The basic attack is implemented. Right now you can attack anyone in any country, that will be changed in the future where you cannot attack anyone of significant lower weather than you or anyone in another country that is not your home. At the moment attacking does not consume turns, this will change in a future release, as well as a maximum number of times a person can be attacked in an hour.Next on the list will be the implementation of weapons and armor as well as the hireing of production units (and possibly the production page).
Each round of the game will run around seven days. At the moment I am doing this manually so it will fluxuate a little. It will be automated in the future.
Bug fixes will be pushed to live as soon as it is feasable for me, major changes to database structure, formulas, and game additions will be only pushed between rounds.

Turns every 10 minutes are implemented as well

New version now uploaded to website http://faldoranbeta.gear.host/.  Recuitment for warriors and production is now working.  Four types of attack and implemented and working.  Steal option will be worked on after the next phase when I get the production page working.

Really needing testers to try this out, need to drive up traffic on it.  Production will be up and running very soon

Move page is working, all production (with exeption of making gold) is working, profile page added, recruitment page working, attack page completed with checks to keep you from attacking people
that are lower level than you or in a different country that you reside in. Tuned the temporary NPCs to be more in tune with starting out players and will get stronger over time. Automated
the restart of the rounds every 7 days. Next to do list in order of importance is: Vault page, market page, ranking pages. Then will go from there. As more people join the game I will slowly
drop off the NPCs. In the future I plan on having a market that will allow players to trade among themselves for either cash or jackpot currency.

Once all pages are working I will start working on site layout and graphics more as they are lower priority at the moment.

Round has been started and will not be restarted for 7 days now.

Reworked units and combat a bit. Added more units (not available at the moment) Future implementation of bonuses depending on army makeup in store with the new units. Removed one or two things that was not being used. Kill Rankings not working at the moment, small fix and will be in next release. here next week I will be stuck on a greyhound bus for 2 and a half days, they have wifi and electrical outlets so I am planning on working on the "shopping" portion then as I will need to have constant checks on the internet to make sure things are working.

Some more changes made to the website and pushed to beta.  Added more classes to make your army out of.  Later on there will be implementation where certain army setups will give bonuses.  moved the Move city option to the viewcity and view player screens freeing up the slot on the menu to add a credits page where things will be able to be purchased (credits will be bought via paypal, BTC, Faldoran Scrypt, and maybe NXT.

added leveling to the armies.  the more you kill the stronger each member of the army gets!!!!  based loosly off of D&D 3.5 rules. Production page completely working, market completely working, fixed the bugs in it.  broke the steal option and attack ops option, they will be fixed in next push.  vault and send money page working.  Profile page set up to show all your info. 

Round has been restarted and work on the "graphics" for the website contracted out to a artist.

Waiting for a pool to be set up that I have someone supposing to do for me, once that happens I will start a new thread with more info a short FAQ ect.
