Another scam coin from a newbie got problem with the code.

Yesterday the dev was releasing the coin, then he came out with "For some technical problem,launch is postponed of 24 hours".
Now they say again NEXT 24 hours.
Some minute ago they say 3 hours.

BUHAHUHAUHAUHAUHUAH.

That's the reason for not having a calendar. They don't know how to fic the problem.

Umm. No.  we set a semi-ninja launch time and never gave an exact time of launch.  We could have launched yesterday but we did not like one small thing we saw in testing. It could have been easily resolved and pushed out quickly but we prefer to meticulously check, test, and re check. We are currently running our final test and should be launching shortly.  If you do not like the fact that when there is a small error and we fix it AND TEST IT before we launch a coin then that really is your problem. We are making a coin here not crap.

What means final test? You're making final test now,right before launch? I have developed 3 coin in past and always finished and tested at least 1 week before. Then just release wallet and gthub minutes before launch. Countdown purpose is also this, to check if the coin is good or not at launch time. It's your first coin right?

You will loose faith in 1 seconds, if community start to write technical improvement and you can't develop it.

Let me sum this up with a few responses.
1. We have been tweaking the code to make the launch smooth. It has been tested numerous times to insure a smooth launch.
2. Thanksgiving. Yes. We will take a few days off but i figured we would let you know in advance. Turkey, cranberry sauce, and wearing olives on your fingers was a fun comment. I guess i cannot be fun without criticism from someone who is looking to be angry with something.
3. Roadmap.  We laid out some basic stuff but we also want to hear from everyone else in the community. We want to know what YOU want in this coin.  We can just throw in feature after feature but what do u think makes the coin useful?  Or should we throw any old crap feature in?  We do have some basic down the road ideas that we will be implementing but we want to hear from the community first. OR.. do u think we should not listen to anybody and let the coin die like at least 2 of your projects already did? (u said  u have run 3 coins. i assume the 3rd is still alive)

Nope. All three dead. First coin i forgot to implement a retargeting diff like dwg and right after launch diff goes up in the sky and never returned back to earth, make miners slowly left,big dump initially etc etc....Then other 2 mistake in other 2 coins. The i just say "i'm not a good dev".  ;)

I have just had a quick review of the code.

It was forked from Nopecoin - not the worst Source as POS was working fine on that one

No malicious/hidden stuff was found, just the Makefile was broken.

The Source contains a valid testnet genesis block which is quite rare in these days - good.

The premine is not (yet) checkpointed i think they'll be adding that later.

After all quite a decent launch and the source looks okay to me - I'd like to read earlz review though too.

maybe pool operators could write a launch code that will cap their pools at a desired (by coin devs) top speed.  That way all the pools would get hashes at launch and would make for optimal mining for everyone!

Rig rental mining involves additional risks (pool DDoS, hashrate fluctuations, etc.) to attempt to get those lower prices per coin, early in that coin's life when supply is relatively low. By paying the miner above cost, he compensated the miner who took the risks, so he could acquire the coin early without having to worry about them. He expects the future price to be higher.

Oh, but since it doesn't matter what the future price can be, surely you'll have no problem selling me your 50k opti for the 0.02 you paid to mine it. Right?

Bro the first tx is the generated block reward and the other tx under it are the tx that ppl sent , for example. i mined the block number 1000 that is reward 3000 and before that u have sent 2000 to ccex. now block explorer will say Value out is 5000.

I had high hopes for this coin. :( Looks like this was either scam or a dev who stopped working on the coin. Either way another coin to add to the shit list. I have not seen a decent alt coin for months now. I believe it is time to get away from coins being launched by newbie accounts and expecting coins to be launched by reputable account. It is time that the crypto community expects more from a dev team and if they can not produce then we do not support their coin. Just my thoughts. I was really hoping this coin would be great. Even the name gave it great potential. I am still holding some coins so maybe the  dev will turn it around.

How is it a scam if developer just gave up? He didn't had hidden blocks, hidden premine, ICO funds or something else... Mia dev can't be classified as scam in my opinion.

it is gonna get harder to extract FIAT from investors though, and so such "coins" hurt overall landscape how much hurt ? hard to say, but I predicted less and less alt coins on the market being released and it is exactly what is happening. as investors don't put dime even ion very sophisticated coins, and sitting on the sidelines

False Pre-Mine  2500 OPTI (Pre-Mine) was actually 250,000. Was never corrected in the Announcement. This coin was a scam. Dev most likely waited for the price to rise and dumped the entire 250,000. He was called out on it and has never responded. Don't waste your hash or BTC on OPTI. Move on, count your loses, and be aware of these SCAMs in the future. These people prey on hope and ignorance of newbies. Most of you will see this again if you continue to be involved in crypto. Look for the signs and don't play into these in the future. This is just my advice to anyone who believes OPTI will make a comeback.

Well, at least he is here... 250K coins ain't much at this moment so it is pointless to discuss where did premine went... If DEV is willing to add features and develop further this coin we are good, and of course he needs to be more active. Many coins died because DEV wasn't active enough.

It would really be Optimum of you, Dev, to answer community questions.

How about having frequent board meetings via irc & voting, all in-wallet, so we can decide where to go with the coin? :D

We could have brainstorming sessions, then a list of options would come out of that, then a week to vote, votes preserved on the blockchain for everyone to see.

Votes could be weighted by balance, not necessarily 1 coin 1 vote, so everyone can let their voice heard.
