- Midweek: Claim 1,000 satoshi every hour in 1 single claim
- Weekend: Claim 10,000 Satoshi in 1 single claim  (you can claim every 24 hours - but there is a LIMITED amount)

Most faucets seem focused around quick claims - 5 minutes, 15 minutes... We are going the other way - to pay out less frequently (and focus on the weekend), but HUGE amounts :)

The 10,000 claim amounts at a weekend will be limited. I want sponsors to donate a set amount, and pay that out until it is gone.

Currently we are paying an amount of 50 MILLION - 100 MILLION satoshi every weekend (0.5btc to 1btc).

Weekend Bitcoin is a unique faucet.. we only really pay out over the weekend.

Ok , sorry for any confusion, I made this thread early (while still testing) as people were already asking me about it - it is in beta and needs figuring out - please read my initial post though.

The idea is that we give a set amount out each week 0.1btc was the goal this week, but it went over and I had to pause it - so obviously I need to work on the messages which are displayed and make sure its really clear.

Also, in full transparency, yesterday there was a period where the faucet was paying out 10,000 every 1 or 10 MINUTES - a small amount of people were able to claim 80k, 120k, or several 100k - I have edited these balances down to 20,000 - Sorry, but I can't pay out massive amounts to just a few people because of a temporary bug (I have kept it at double, i.e. 20,000 still) - I need the balance to now spread out EVERYONE and to make this work.

Please bare with these teething problems, I want this to be an amazing faucet with a super high payout.

p.s. If you're reading this live then give me 10-20 minutes and the next 0.05 btc will be loaded up and the faucet will be dispensing again until this is gone - if you have joined us already then you will receive an email notification the moment this goes live.

I wanted to post here about it rather than keeping you in the dark.

I've had technical problems paying everyone - Blockchain only let me mass pay 148 people at a time (asking them if/how is possible to pay larger amounts) and at the minute my payment system only lets me pay "all people above a certain amount" - so I've been able to pay everoyone on a balance OVER 10,000 satoshi, but there are 399 people exactly dead on 10,000 - this is more than the 148... so I'm stuck.

It will be 24-36 hours while we work on our programming to be able to batch people into 148 bundles ourselves - I ABSOLUTELY, 100% have the btc ready, it will be paid tomorrow - just wanted to give full disclosure as I know these are larger amounts than normal claims and my first week paying with this faucet.

It may be a bug, well not a bug, over on bitcoinaliens sometimes  the page refuses to load up.
Then after a few minutes it does, only to show a domain mismatch with the captcha key.

Bitcoin aliens is getting messed up somehow, with weekend bitcoin I surmise.
I think he needs a new API Key for the captcha.

I have been receiving 1001 daily.

We are aware of some problems, but its only for a TINY minority of users, so hard for us to see whats happening, can you tell me which browser / device you are using? We think it is only with certain minority tablets etc?

At the minute we are paying out 10,000 satoshi on a weekend but 1001 satoshi claims midweek - we have a technical issue where for some reason if we pay out exactly 1000 (not 1001) then there are technical glitches with the timer on some devices... don't ask me how just yet, we are looking into it though.

Hey, getting error when trying to get some satoshi. Something like the below appear for a while and disappear. Not sure, since there's no time to copy and paste.

This is actually just an irregularity with the BitMedia adspot we are trying, I think it happens when you have already seen too many bitmedia ads within the same day.

On January 22nd  I had 124500 sats(have screenshot) the next day 23rd I carried on as usual claiming every five minutes or so.
I must have claimed for about three or more hours cant remember exactly. 

Day after 24th my balance was lower not zero as it should have been if you had paid me.,
I checked my wallet and seen no such transaction.
Can you provide it for me please so I can check for myself, it will put my mind to rest.

Ok 2 Updates:

1. We are aware of some issues, the faucet works best in firefox or chrome, any latest version. However we are working on the template and know what is wrong to not display timer/balances/payouts correctly.

2. For the next 2 days we are paying out 24x as much - instead of 1x claim for 1000 every 24 hours, we are paying out 1000 an hour.

This is just to say sorry for the problems, and to promise there are a LOT better things to come from us when this is properly fixed (2-3 days).

I know I know, we are aware of it and hopefully are installing a new cleaner html today to solve this, but fachan, I think you have this problem a LOT, and you are one of the 0.1% who do - I think it must be the browser/device you are using.. try another web browser and you should be ok.

It has worked for me 2 month but since yesterday there are only zero rewards. ok so this means that you claimed within the last 24 hours... when i move the timer from 1 hourly, to 24 hourly it knows the last time you claimed and then re-configures that to add 24 hours onto that rather than just 1...

I'm scratching my head trying to think of the best way around this... as I NEED to only have a 24 hour timer when the 10,000 claims are active, otherwise it would drain within 1 hour.. but then yeh, if you claim on Friday you might suffer this issue... for now the inside insight answer is not to claim too late in the day on friday... but I know this isnt ideal..

I was told that I need to wait for 20 hours before I couls claim the 10, 000 satoshi. However, I see that all 50, 000 satoshi have been claim. . Now you put back the timer to one hour. Gald that I get 1000 satoshi again. You really need to work a new system. Else, your loyal members who cliam on Friday would have to suffer.

I don't completely get the site yet. So, during the week I can earn every hour. But on the weekend's only once every 24 hours? During the week I am making much more than on the weekends. (By the way, I'm not a big faucet user - just sporadically throughout the day)

Thats pretty much right... the main feature of the faucet is that we pay out 10,000 1 click claims at the weekend.. we keep changing what happens mid-week but we like the 1000 an hour claims, and people seem to like it too. Yes you can claim more mid-week, but only if you claim 10x or more a day to get your 10k - this way, at the weekend, it really is just 10 seconds to get 10k satoshi :)

* Except this weekend when I forgot to turn the timer down to 24 hours... and left it at 1 hour - so this week we paid out around 1.7btc, not just 1 - oops.. but your gain :)

Yes automatic, as long as you have 10k satoshi minimum.. so basically make a claim on the weekend and you WILL be paid out.

Too bad, I claimed 4 hours before.. so I can't claim my 10,000 Satoshi now. My suggestion is to fix it. If you are using MySQL table to update the timestamps where we claim.. Try this? Create another new column for weekend claim. If today is weekday, use the weekday column timestamps. If today is weekend, use the weekend column timestamps.

We've been getting a LOT of fraud at Weekend Bitcoin. Over the last few weeks we've been much tougher on this and anyone we have seen creating duplicate, fraudulent accounts has been banned.

However, due to the volume of fraud we seem to be getting now, we're unfortunately having to take further action.

Once you reach the payout threshold, you should now see a button to send a confirmation email to your address. All you need to do is click the link in the email and you'll be added to the payment run for the week - it'll pay out on Mondays as usual. If you're using a legitimate email address you should have absolutely nothing to worry about.

As long as you confirm you should get all of your unpaid balance (including earnings from referrals). The vast majority of users so far have been able to receive the email and confirm for the payouts - but if you're having trouble receiving the email let us know and we'll try to pay you out another way. We want to do this as legitimately as possible and pay out our genuine users what they're owed.

The current captcha are easy to read. Number captcha will make the bot easier to bypass the system.

Ok, this weekend is live but there are changes at Weekend Bitcoin - last weeks 10,000 claims ran out in just 1 hour... it's a shame but I don't have infinite money, and basically 99% of people didnt get the "weekend special claim" as we've grown a lot.

Each and everytime when the weekend comes, I getting error messages on browser when I try to reach weekendbitcoin, I think there will be huge rush on weekends, because lots of satoshi...

What error messages are you seeing?

BitcoinAliens / WeekendBitcoin do not control the capTcha's.

There was some discussion about this a page or two back, and the general feeling is that if you do a large number of capTcha's in a short time period the the capTcha company (SolveMedia) may make them harder to read, finally becoming impossible. Sounds crazy, but originally these systems were designed for e.g. buying tickets and like that where once per day is more usual.

Your best bet might be:-
1. to take some time out, especially from any other faucets.
2. report the unreadable capTcha's using the Help  [ ? ] button.

I think you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) but first you can confirm that weekendbitcoin is truly OK by going to http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/weekendbitcoin.com and seeing what it reports.

Now 1000 (and 10 % chance for 10000 sat) is not bad as well.

See those three grey boxes in the bottom right corner? If you hold your mouse pointer steady over them, a tooltip will popup telling you briefly what each one does. (Sorry if it sounds like I'm taking down at you - just making sure I cover all the bases).
The first one (circular arrow) gets you a new image. The next one "speaks" a capTcha (never had much luck with that one!)
The third one [ ? ] gets you the help screen. Click that one and then click the big blue  [ Report a Problem ] button.

I have found that sometimes, mention that you need to solve many capTchas, they clear your "block" within a few hours.

No guarantees, but I hope that helps.

CAPTCHAS - Please guys can you just read the previous page, or even the previous messages just a few messages before rather than reposting. I don't control the difficulty - they appear like this if you have entered a lot of captchas in a short space of time.. so just come back later.

@bitcoinaliens If I can make a suggestion? I believe that on this forum you can go back and edit your original post. If you could put up a numbered FAQ hosted somewhere that answers these questions, and then link to them from the first post, it might just help. (Be careful of SM's terms, I just read them (I now have a headache!) and helping people *too* much could be an issue for SM). The numbering is so that those of us trying to help others can just type, "please read FAQ #99" or like that.

In a forum you will always get some people who just assume that everybody is here for their benefit and just ask instead of doing a little own research. It's a "cost of doing business" ;-)  I see it as no publicity is bad publicity. What if this topic vanished off the front page of the forum? (not likely but you see what I mean?)

Another common "habit" of new users is to read the first post and then hit "Reply" - often they don't even realise that their question has been answered a gazillion times before.

Daniel, I think you are doing a quite incredible job (ahem [cough] except for my occasional pleas re: my coinad account mart2013 :P ) So I am more than happy to do my best in helping the new users in to the weird and wacky world of bitcoin :) and the weirder and wackier, but highly profitable world of Planet Uruk :)

You might (possibly) be being flagged by the provider of the captchas. Sometimes depending on your IP they may give you harder captchas to solve. Perhaps they think you operating behind a proxy? Could be anything.

To bad you use solvemedia captcha.  My group will have to put you on the blacklist along with every other faucet that uses solvemedia captcha.  Repost when you decide to go with a captcha system that doesn't punish users.

Or why not go with a captcha that doesn't punish your users? I know why I just want you to say it.  Everyone should boycott faucets that use solvemedia untill the faucet owners learn there is no good reason to use solvemedia.

I run many faucets and every one of them uses solvemedia captcha's.

I never had a problem using solvemedia (maybe because I use faucets the way they where went to be used).

Try opening 10+ tabs at once ("open all" in your browser), and Solve Media is instantly impossible for at least an hour...

If you know what's the problem, it's easy to find a solution: open less tabs at once.
I never had more than 3 faucets opened in the same time and I never had such bad surprises.

Sounds like you are working on dozens of faucets. :P
Just focus on those high pay rate faucets, and you won't need to load so many captcha at the same time and won't have the problem.

I don't know if I am the only one with this problem but today the website has become really slow and it takes about 30s for the page to reload. It could be from high load you might need to get some more servers.

 I am not an expert on the subject but my assumption was , when user solves solvemedia captcha , website makes money. If that is right , maybe solvemedia pays the website owner more then other captcha programs? So the website cares more about payment rather then the users?

Ok, well another change on Weekend Bitcoin - and again, due to MASS fraud, duplicate and fake accounts. The latest change - to 10% chance of 10k claims, was just an open invitation to cheaters and fraud :(

Basically it seems impossible to have a "non frequent but high paying faucet"... as it's much easier to setup bots and fraud for 1000 in 1 claim every hour, rather than 4x or 10x claims an hour. Basically we NEED to change the format or close the faucet.

So - instead, now the claims are every 15 minutes, for 250 satoshi - STILL, this claim is higher than most faucet's hourly averages.

AND, well our title is WEEKEND Bitcoin so we are still going to do specials on a week - now they will be more like a "lottery" or jackpot - we will do our style of dropping in a unique image and code into the faucet with a 1/10,000 chance of seeing it - and if you are the FIRST to see it, take a screenshot and post it here then we will pay 10 MILLION satoshi jackpots (usually we've done this and given away 1 million satoshi bonuses, but we will make them 10 million for these weekend specials now).

Looks like you have made a small typo in updating the content of your site. It is now showing "Make your claim below: 200 satoshi every 15 minutes" rather than 250 satoshi.

I understand that you needed to make the changes but 15 minutes is quite short

I have the following problem. More than two weeks ago I've made the withdrawal request.
I received the confirmation email and clicked the link to confirm the payout.

Since this time the following occurs:

- the time counter is not working in 1 hour but in 24h manner
- when the timer reaches the 0 it begins to calculate 24 hours again (this happened more times already) without allowing me to make any claim
- I was not paid at least within the last 2 payment runs even I have a quite nice amount of satoshi on my balance

Ok so this is a case that your account was banned - it could be our mistake, and if so I am sincerely sorry - we get a LOT of fraud and ban 100s or 1000s of accounts each week.

What might have happened is you joined up under someone who was committing a lot of fraud and signing up 100s of fake accounts - and we mass ban all of their accounts - you probably got caught up in this and accidentally banned along with the fake accounts.

Why are the payouts per claim lower and lower?  Some weeks ago we could get 1000-2000 satoshi per single claim and now we only get around 700 sat/claim..

Last weekend was a claim every 30 minutes, even though Sunday was short lived.
Probably the price of Bitcoin and higher transaction fees caused reduction on what we have now.

Yes and bitcoinaliens also, but they are not annoying just every now and again.
Its just a page switch, which can easily be closed.
It helps with his expenses in payments which is very high.
I don't don't mind if this is how he pays us, I would not want him running at a loss would you.  ;)

They have a good reputation, using pop up ads looks unprofessional. They have three high paying sites, as far as they are paying users will tolerate this less annoying pop up ad :)

I've got 648 satoshi on my claim, went through a lot of pop-up ads and bad user experience. I can say i won't visit this faucet again, too much ads and the site seems unprofessional.

I only get one pop up, every hour or so, using Chrome.

They might be going through a rough patch, happens when you are running three high paying sites. I think they added pop ads just a week ago. Only one pop up when you click the claim button, but that one pop up goes through a couple of URLs. Hope they will remove the pop up ads soon

WeekendBitcoin scammed all its loyal users and just deleted all my "lifetime" referrals. Formal reason is that they have moved to another design. This is just total LOL, that's all. Bye-bye, no more thousands of referral traffic from me anymore.

When I try to open weekenditcoin.com, it redirects tohttp://www.blockchainstats.org (http://www.blockchainstats.org), but other faucets of this owner - bitcoinaliens and dailydoge works well.

Same here, it was not directing properly at first, but now I logged in to the site http://www.blockchainstats.org/free-bitcoin/ my details and balance remain the same.
I think he changed his server, without letting any one know, after all he was having connection issues when trying to connect to his websites.

Maybe this was a fix, I dunno but I am in weekend at moment and claiming.
