Ask it in the Speculation Forum... nobody honestly knows what's going to happen to btc unless they are going to buy a ton or sell a ton. The quality of these posts lately are becoming sub par....on an exponential level.

It's probably just a person that is just posting in order to bump up his alt accounts so he can just sell them.

If it goes down to $200 it won't be for long as the price will shoot back up with people buying it back up at the bargain price. I for one would be buying.

The consequences will include some delusions about bitcoin being the new world order being destroyed and some people that live of BTC having to work again, but bitcoin will survive

i think the price wouldn't fall.

When all the FBI coins are auctioned, BTC might rise.

I think the recent auction will generate some talking among big investors and vcs which could sustain demand for the next months still. If anything, I think this flat market will persist for still much time, until there's something really big that drives up adoption, something like the Draper project coming to light.

the Bear whale incident happened at $300 and price bounced back...i think BTC price will do the same if price approached $300

Any one who has a Satoshi has the right to wait high or low prices.However only the market knows what will happen.

It is a supply demand problem but there also other factors.Such as alternative investment oppurtunities.

For me, the price will not drop below 200.On the other hand it can drop below 200 USD or even 50 USD.

I don't think these coins will be dumped in an auction yet.
That was the fear keeping prices down. Hopefully, once the market realizes this, prices will start moving up again.

The only thing that I consider could drive bitcoin down to $200 this week is a US marshals announcement of another auction straight after Christmas. Unless that happens I consider $200 highly unlikely this week.

It won't drop to 200 this week. And even if it did, it wouldn't be the end of Bitcoin. My bullish prediction is that Bitcoin will stay above $200 until 2015.

Even five years from now, it'll probably still have utility for drug dealers, drug buyers and child pornographers. But it'll be traded in the single digits by then, of course. And the cultist- and bulltard mentality will be almost extinct, along with this forum.

No.  They sold 50k BTC.  They still have ~94K to sell.

Even if it drops to $ 100 it doesn't mean that it's all over.

Bitcoin has corrected within such kind of magnitude before... though I doubt it will reach $ 100 this time.

In my opinion we have already seen the bottom but will need another 6-9 months to establish a new sustainable uptrend.

If the bitcoin price will drop to 200 $ , it is simple : you should buy  a lot of bitcoin . It is the best thing to do , the other thing is : eat a pizza and watch a film.

some people can afford to loose $10 - $20per coin.. some can't = panic sell,..

Back on topic... a retest of $300 is very possible!

We might need to double bottom at 270. Upwards from there just in time for mass panic buy and 4-5 digit pricing in 2015  8)

I dont think so, bitcoin will survive in the future... It's just the world is not ready to use btc yet, there must be demise of stock markets and at least part of financial system itself to create a real solid uptrend
