Title: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin ASIC FPGA Time Machine
Post by: bitlane on June 24, 2012, 09:31:13 PM
I am proud to announce the latest development in the Bitcoin Mining Marketplace...

The Bitcoin Mining Time Machine.

Loosely based off the 'Uncle Rico' unit, it will allow Miners to go back in time to January 2010 using their existing equipment to mine at that difficulty.

Pre-Orders are now being accepted. Delivery is expected to begin within 6 months.

**If you believe that this thread does not belong, please consider that I at least have a picture of my 'imaginary' product.

What is the Asking price now?

Shouldn't it be what is the asking price then?  ;)

What is the Asking price now?

And where can we send our money ASAP by what methods and would you take the rights to future unborn children on trade or perhaps a couple of organs?

people don't fall for this! clearly a fake: no flux compensator.

Pricing will depend on the amount of mining hardware you need to take back in time with you, as the 'Energy Crystals' that power the Time Machine require special licensing, based on your current GH or MH/s....

Proprietary Design....
Unfortunately I am unable to show pics of the inside of the units.

Can we just use this to drop our past selves a message to hit Bitcoin with every CPU we have in like mid 2009. ;D   That would be sweet.

Bitcoin Mining Time Machine is very dangerous to Bitcoin, it will make ASIC mining unprofitable!

How much to go back with lotto numbers?

The plan is to mine all of the Bitcoins available to the project for it's life, so that when ASICs come about, there won't be anything left to mine.....making THEM obsolete before they are even released.

why don't u mine yourself with it?

Because I am a Time Machine manufacturer and would rather sell this to the Bitcoin Miners who are interested.

Well played, bitlane.

You are truly a master !

Where do I send my preorder ( making sure to use a non reversible payment method like bank transfer or BTC, because I want it to hurt - no hommo :D) ?

How can I get this FIRST not after some folks also order it !

Most importantly of all, can it also act as a praying amplifier at the same time ( PrayerMax 5000 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvM-6iiCFcw ) ???

I won't buy it otherwise because I need my prayers amplified :P

Unfortunately, this is a single use device.....Time Travel ONLY for the purposes of Bitcoin Mining (No Lotto numbers, Prayer amplifications etc).

Payment methods (all of course non refundable):
- Checks, preferably made out in the name of 'CASH'.
- Western Union.
- Bitcoins (tainted or regular. extra crispy also an alternative. NO BBQ flavor)

I hope that helps to answer enough questions to still leave a 'fog of vagueness' about things...

Yours in Mining,
bitlane.

Since January 2010 did not have proper pooled mining, BTC Guild has been upgraded to allow alternative temporal placement mining.  While the first few ASICFPGATM miners may be able to solo mine, it is only a matter of time before enough units are produced that you're competing and orphaning each other out.  We all remember what happened to altcoins when a major amount of hash power was pointed at low difficulties!

This is a breakthrough in the mining market! I am in the process of liquidating all my assets and giving all my money to you. Soon, it shall be delivered to you in a black suitcase by a ex-KGB agent. Please do not make fun of his sunglasses, he really does not like that and is likely to murder you on the spot if he feels insulted.

My goal is to travel back in time to the very first minute Satoshi release the bitcoin concept and fire up a few Radeon 5970s and spank that blockchain like the naughty girl she is.

Anyone setting up a GLBSE share or bond for miners who can't affort a complete unit or doesn't have the correct energy to run this?
I'm willing to buy some shares/bonds right from the beginning of january 2010.
I'll probably send the dividend right back to january 2010 to buy even more shares.

couple questions:

  • what is the energy consumption of the device?
  • will I have to constantly supply energy to the device to "stay back in time"?
  • what's the recharge time and minimum time to stay back (can I go back, collect work, mine in the now and then go back to deliver the block?
  • what's the life expectancy, what about warranty?

First you need to sell bonds for it  :D

Im waiting for the upgrade to quantum mining where you create all the bitcoins at once.

I'm hoping you won't supply one to every interested miner but instead will use the more reliable/popular 'Lottery' style delivery....

I'm suggesting the following:

Every interested miner sends in their money and after a certain period you let a random generator select addresses anywhere in the world

Attach a note to the devices that reads:

"Dear Mr/Mrs X,

This device was sent to you as your address was randomly generated.... If you have no idea what a Bitcoin is, please use a random generator to generate an address anywhere in the world and please forward this box to the next unsuspecting winner"

That should ensure that someone with knowledge of BTC, an account at this forum, a CPU/GPU/FPGA and CGMiner will have this device within their possession before any BFL ASIC product has been delivered !

Can I get one with my own private blockchain?
That way I can even increase the mining further by setting the 10 min/block to a lower value.

Actually this miner would consume the entire energy output of a G class star per day, but who cares, think of all the bitcoins you'll have!! OMG!!
