Hello everyone,

I have followed the currency from birth.
I am miner and trader.

So far my experience with the currency being very good.
when was launched arrived on the moon, then gave a good drop and is now again up the moon. As every coin has its ups and downs.

About developers, also wanted to know more.
I noticed that those involved are qualified professionals with much experience in the crypto-currency business.

I believe this is the most serious Brazilian project and more chances to win the world.

Already negotiated many other currencies, but the Guarany is one of the most promising developed by Brazilians.

Congratulations to those involved

 ;)

Developers of Guarany, yours is a great initiative for learning of cryptocoins in Brazil. Congratulations !

I wish a great yer for Brazil's national cryptocoin, for you and your families.

Could you please be as kind as to inform us what are the next steps in the development ?

Is the repository of Gurany at https://github.com/guaranycryptocurrency/Guarany (https://github.com/guaranycryptocurrency/Guarany) a good place to learn about the project ?

Thanks in advance.

My wallet does not stake too. Looks like staking is not actually implemented. Except that... anyone has any idea where is teh community for this coin..? I like that, but am not sure what is going on with Guarany... no info, no development, no news posted anywhere... Maybe some Brazilian on the forum could give some more info?

Hi!

How is it going?

I wanna propose some ideas to improve the coin (always constructive)

- Get listed in more exchanges
- Get some merchants
- Contact brazilian journalists/famous people and give them some GUA for free  ;)

Question:

How many coins out there?

We are in block 131489, right?
http://blockexplorer.guarany.co:8080/

It's 1 GUA per block??

Why CoinMarketCap says 231489 GUA Available?

Thanks!!!

I guess the sentence "1% Premine used in swap*" has something to do with this. 231,489 = 131,498 + 100,000 (1% of total 10,000,000).
However I have no idea what this kind of "swap" this was - I was not following this coin from the start, and now cannot find any information on this.

I like this coin a lot, but not sure where is the developer, and why the community of the coin is so silent. Probably they do not talk English..? But even then where is the Brazilian forum?

I have received a mail from one of the main (and my personal favourite) pool for Guarany (http://pool.girino.org/). They are being closed now :(

I hope the Guarany will survive despite the pessimistic content in the mail...
I like this coin. It is a great initiative, started well, but just lacks development and dedication.

No :). But actually this situation happens often with GUA (as well as with some other coins I am following). Someone drops in with high hashrate, raises difficulty too high, then drops out (probably multipool). After that several hours (more often - days) are needed for normal miners to resolve a block :-\

I am watching GUA, and have seen its blockchain stopped for 1-2 or even 3 days before someone moves that again. The real problem is - as soon as a normal miner resolves a block, and diff drops, the damn multipool joins again, takes all the easy blocks blocks and again raises difficulty. This is definitely unhealthy for the coin, but not sure how this could be improved (unfortunately there is no way to ban multipools).

I can compile a Linux QT wallet and daemon, if that helps.

But first of all another problem should be solved - none of the currently active pools allows to use Nicehash (both Aikapool and mega-hash.com provide too low initial diff, so Nicehash rejects to work with them).

Now the blockchain is stuck for 11 days at very high diff, because there is some multipool mining this coin (probably it is private, as I cannot find which multipool is it...). And its impossible to hire big hash from Nicehash to move the chain forward.

Did you try with miningrigrentals? I'll try out this night

Finally. Nice!
I expect miners to resume selling coins at Bleutrade now :)

I will compile the Linux wallets (both 64 and 32 bit) on weekend.
Would be good to reanimate this nice coin. I really like it, don't know why ;)

Aikapool is not the only pool. There is at least one more: http://gua.mega-hash.com/

But I think there is some private pool too mining this coin. Someone kills this coin by throwing in huge hashrate, getting all the easy coins at low diff, then withdrawing hashrate, and leaving all the others with nothing. Some pretty selfish and useless person does it for the last half a year at least (or maybe just a multipool mining and immediately dumping this coin for BTC)  :-\

What can we do to get rid off this asshole?

- Hire more hash (and make his hashpower look small)
- Dump the price (and make no longer profitable for him to mine it, just make sense to mine it for longholders)
- Pump the price  (and attract more miners and investors)

what you guys think is the best option?

Its hard to tell... This is a problem of many other coins. Multipools are always there, and we have to deal with them. But they become a problem only when there is not enough dedicated miners, and their hashrate us small.

To get rid of this issue, the best way is to attract more people who believe in GUA. This will resolve the problem in natural way, as they will start mining the coin, and increase the hashrate to the point where mining it is not so profitable, so multipools will drop off. This way also the hashrate of multipool will be neglectable compared to hashrate of holders. I remember when GUA was having about 100-200 MHs of dedicated miners, multipools were not an issue at all.

Sure, other opinions are welcome :)

BTW, I compiled the Linux wallets (both 32- and 64-bit). But I cannot test QT wallets, as I don't use Linux GUI. Anyone else would want to test?

Truly saying, I don't think it is a good idea to be listed on those two miner's sites...

Miners who check them, are typically interested only in dumping coins. Multipools are automatically checking those sites and redirecting their crazy hash to the most profitable coin, mine it and sell it immediately, killing the price and skyrocketing the difficulty. Those sites are unhealthy for any coin. The further the coin from those sites the better! I honestly hope they do not have Bleutrade interface and do not list GUA.

In any case, we need a community to support the coin, not just a bunch of careless miners/dumpers.

Price has doubled indeed :). But if dumpers wil start mining this coin, they will push the price it back down very soon, unless there is buying power from real community members.

The question is - how to attract real community... Real Brazilians would be the best, as this is their coin! :)

EDIT: all this IMHO, I would be interested to listen other opinions too :)

ok, I agree with you. We need community miners not dumpers  :-\

Fortunately, they've said they're not getting data from Bleutrade :)

how to attract Brazilian people?
For now, I think we will have to attract people already involved in the cryptos and left the "outsiders" for later.

Options:
1) Get into new exchange
Positive: More people will have the posibility of investing in GUA
Negative: Small community, then difficult to get into new exchanges

2)Brazilian thread of GUA
Positive: More people will read about GUA

3)Tweet using #GUA #Brazil #GuaranyCoin #Bitcoin
Positive: People involved in #Bitcoin, may read about #GUA

What do you think about this ideas?

mining some just to see what happens . See if it holds up . Hopefully it gains more in value and doesnt get abandoned like most others.

I've been thinking and I think the best options to attract miners/investor/collaborators are 1 and 2.

1) New exchange

This week I think we should focus on Cryptopia!! We already have 2 votes and the first one 12. We can do it!!!

There is also paid votes using DOT!! We can get on both, but in any case, never forget to vote!! :) :)

Cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/HomeAction/Voting (vote everyday)

2) Can someone open a thread saying we are looking for brazilian people for the team?? Very much thanks!! :) :)

Well, I've decided I was going to vote with DOTs in the last minute and win the DOT votes but then this disclaimer pop up

Quote
We try our best to comprehensively review every coin before it makes it on the vote list, but every now and then mistakes are made, or something slips through, or even things change during the course of voting. If at the end of voting a winning coin does not meet our requirements it will not be listed, and no refunds will be issued. It is up to the coin dev, the coin community, and the people voting for a coin to ensure that our standards are met when getting a coin listed on Cryptopia. This means:
If there are no network connections when a coin wins the vote, it will not be listed.
If the coin does not compile, it will not be lised.
If the coin does not have a website, it will not be listed.
Our listing requirements are below, it's up to you to make sure you're not wasting your vote.

WE DONT HAVE A WEBSITE!!!  :( :(

We only have 3 Days 23 Hours 36 Minutes 26 Seconds to make a little website!!!  :D :D

Can someone make a little website? :) Cmmon guys!!

If someones makes the website I pay for getting listed with DOTs!!!! GO GUA GO!!!

i'm currently time constrained so i don't have time to build it and find all the dependencies.

please pm or share download.

will add like daemon to future website once in place.

I have it compiled and running on 64-bit Ubuntu (Vivid) machine. However that is a normal dynamc build. If you have similar setup, it may run without problems, but if you use other Linux distro, you may have dependency issues, like missing libraries and/or wrong versions of libraries...

If you want it, I can share what I have (tomorrow). Otherwise I can try to build a statically linked version, but that one could be huge...

That is a zipped file containing both the pre-compiled daemon and the QT wallet for 64-bit Ubuntu machine.

Here is also a 32-bit version I built once (someone would need this only if he it running a 32-bit machine, I am sharing just in case, just because I already have it :) : https://mega.nz/#!XslxUbJJ!DAMF-GjrGIk_uY8SteWccYhH1hxTofAeNY_878GMfiw (https://mega.nz/#!XslxUbJJ!DAMF-GjrGIk_uY8SteWccYhH1hxTofAeNY_878GMfiw) .

I guess the guy could translate it to Russian (based on his profile).

What refers to Brazilian... It would be great to ask this guy to help: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=143492 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=143492). It seems to me he knows a lot about Guarany :)

I need the windows wallet   the link on here is offline....

Yep, looks like the wallet is removed from everywhere online :-\

I have a copy though. Uploaded it here: https://mega.nz/#!SxdDQSoI!UTnEn78VvhtMplynLspFynpjDtvq0QwpLtggymLn-8M (https://mega.nz/#!SxdDQSoI!UTnEn78VvhtMplynLspFynpjDtvq0QwpLtggymLn-8M) .
Its the original zip file, I did not even correct the name.
Scan for viruses first, not to blame me later :)

What do you guys think about voting in cryptopia?

Voting by user votes (so called "Community Voting") is not a viable option. Its just one coin per month, and most (probably 95%) votes there are bought votes (typically someone gives free coins to resident trolls in Cryptopia chat or makes a giveaway in their forum in exchange to those "community votes") ;D

DOT votes could be an option, but I had very unpleasant experience with that before.

They have pretty low volume though, so Yobit is preferable IMHO. Cryptopia is the best option only for high supply coins, to get LTC and DOGE markets. This is not Guarany's case.

I also had a bad experience with DOT votes. So we can discard getting into Cryptopia.

Other options are C-cex, Bittrex and Poloniex.

Personally, I had a bad experience with C-cex (my account being closed without permission and mails not answered)

Bittrex and Polo looks quite far right now...

In case we dont get listed in Yobit for free, we can make a little crowfunding of .010btc

The list of pools seems to be complete, as both the mega-hash.com and pool from loutchano seem to be closed now.

Ctrl+F5 is wonderful combination  ;D. Kind of clears everything your browser thought it should save for you on that page. Nowadays machines think they are more cleaver than humans (everything is "smart.." except users themselves ;D ;D). Ctrl+F5 means - "you dump machine, do just what you should, don't pretend to be smart".

In other words, it clears all types of cache and re-downloads the CSS too  :)

also this site will remain active for as log as my company exists :D , as I'm hosting on my own companies equipment.now Guarany has solid backing for hosting and all the other nice bits.

there is still a bit of work to be done on images as well as I'm sourcing some from other locations just to get the site up and running but will move those onto the server somewhere this week so i apologise for the slow site loading.

overall its a quick hit to get GUA back on track.

Nice one.

I'll be adding 1 of the 2% of all mining fees from my pool into the faucet going forward from this weekend. so if you mine you can always get some extra coin.

Nope, I believe it doesn't have any exchange now, since Bleutrade betrayed its own creation and abandoned it..
