Title: CryptoDouble
Post by: Enzyme on January 06, 2015, 03:16:38 AM
I want to invest, how long do you think it will be up for?

You really shouldn't be basing your investments based on how long you think a site will stay alive.

Agreed. No wonder why those fly-by-night dice sites make so much money and skedaddle... sheesh.  Besides, they are just a ponzi... you can't double any crypto just by buying and selling.  Now, magic beans... well, that's another story.  ;)

+1

But the thing is, the site is obviously an eventual scam. My idea to you tho would be...(This is only if you feel you must try it, I no way endorse the site)

How much money do you spend on lotto tickets, dice gambling, other gambling per month
\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/
A:MORE THAN ZERO DOLLARS put that money into crypto double, higher chance of actually getting money than any other form of gambling atm
B:ZERO DOLLARSTake one luxury away from yourself this week (Ex. starbucks, movie's etc. etc. NOT GAS MONEY OR RENT MONEY OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT!) AND invest that money.
\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/
A:YOU DON'T GET YOU'RE MONEY BACKWell you tried sorry
YOU GET DOUBLE YOUR MONEY BACKReinvest your "profit" so this way you can keep attempting to reap the rewards and at this point you are not out anything except time. Continue until you are satisfied or they run away with your money.

Just my 2 cents

Also I think they'll be up for a little while longer there are 2 types of ponzi's 1-They set a goal(Ex 1 Million Dollars) they run away at that point 2-They see dollar signs make no plans and eventually go bankrupt and or to jail

I think this is the first type and they are not at their goal yet :)

As long as you get paid the first time your safe haha. Anything after that is just gravy, but those 1st hundred hours may be nerve racking to you depending on how much BTC you currently have / can afford

no one knows how long will it be up. The owner can ran away right now if he feels like it.

Why you so sure they will run smoothly in the early time? You never know how long that site last unless you wait. There are many case ponzi shut down in few hours

First think twice whether you really want to put your money in a Ponzi scheme. Once you are aware of that and fine with it you are good to go.

They can run with investors bitcoins anytime
So, it's very risky to invest here now :(

You better try somewhere else safer

What this guy said, Somewhere safer I have been researching and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=906261.0
That thread/site seems a bit better when it comes to investing, it MAY be another Ponzi scheme, but who knows, it could be a legit website.
I wouldn't risk too much on cryptodouble anymore as it's been in town for a couple weeks now..

At least that site looked like legit site
And with low return, it will be safer since ponzi will die easily if they set high return

Yeah. CryptoDouble will be gone any day now.

I think Bitcoin Stocks will at least wait until after the 60 day plans. After the first few are repayed, a lot more people would get attracted to it.

I tried .044 2 days ago so I've yet to see a return but it looks like it hasn't collapsed yet.
I'd appreciate if you could use my ref if you want a gamble http://cryptodouble.com/?ref=i8l3B

Disclaimer, it's definitely a ponzi...

I feel like you people are placing too much risk on your investment even with that sort of return.

BE careful people... be wise with your coins and don't ever invest what you can't afford to lose.

My advice would be to invest .1, when (if) you get .2, invest .07 or .08, if you get that back, .09, so on and so fourth, so that way you keep a little bit of profit when and if it decides to crash, instead of basically always staying even for the first couple times, cause remember, reach one investment takes 100 hours (4.16 days) and it could crash at any point in time, lol...
But in all honesty, it is a *good* idea none the less :)

in the end I stopped after the first one tho. 100 hours is just too long. :p

and looks like they have some problem paying back to investors now. I gotta say I'm lucky

There are people still putting in over 1btc per bet in there. I played the game and would be happy if my current bets eventually did pay out, but it doesn't seem hopeful. It just doesnt make sense why they would still be paying altcoin only. No Doge or Btc. I thought they had a much bigger end game and planned to go into the hundreds of millions of USD range. Oh well, if I lost it was only from an initial 5$ bet. So glad I didn't take out a second mortgage on my house, phew. Hahaha
