Title: Buying a bitcoin for $300? Post by: ibrahim11 on January 25, 2015, 01:00:25 PM Hi, I bought a bitcoin from virwox for 200GBP = 300USD. Was this a good price? I could only buy it off virwox because on localbitcoins prices for one bitcoin were £172 and virwox was only £28 more and I don't have online banking? Did I buy at a good price or was it too high?

But I didn't have online banking so I couldn't buy it for 260usd? Title: Re: Buying a bitcoin for $300? You can buy a bitcoin for around $250 on those popular exchanges or $260 on localbitcoins at this moment, so $300 is not a good price. For long-term investment, I do believe bitcoin price could go beyond the previous ATH in a few years, so in that sense buying bitcoin now is a good investment IMHO. It was a very high price. You should try and get some face to face transactions at localbitcoins . Other than that, just get a bank account. Will be useful for you in the long run. Title: Re: Buying a bitcoin for $300? Post by: Slark on January 26, 2015, 05:40:07 AM Look at the current price of bitcoin. Something is moving! Huge price spike is on the way. Wait for more than 300$.

Bets to use an exchange site like localbitcoins to rather buy one than waste so much on the fees. Title: Re: Buying a bitcoin for $300? When the price reachs 300$ he will be even instead of being up if he bought at market price Title: Re: Buying a bitcoin for $300? Post by: syamster on January 28, 2015, 01:00:14 PM if you dont have an option to pay through bank exchange, then $300 for 1 btc is not bigger. Because you need it and you dont have any other option, then buy it from any where from those who are accepting your offers. But I think you can but any other currency for lesser than this, and exchange it for BTC may be a good option. Any way welcome to the BTC world....

Localbitcoins is present in a lot of countries but not all countries. When it is not present, you can probably get in contact with people having bitcoins and buy them for a 10% premium. I would say that your still in good shape. You should wait for the price to rise again. Title: Re: Buying a bitcoin for $300? Post by: crypto97 on February 01, 2015, 08:25:25 PM I agree. I think a spike well over $300 is in the cards pretty soon!
