Hi, I bought a bitcoin from virwox for 200GBP = 300USD. Was this a good price? I could only buy it off virwox because on localbitcoins prices for one bitcoin were £172 and virwox was only £28 more and I don't have online banking? Did I buy at a good price or was it too high?

www.btc-e.com www.bitstamp.net Not a great price, you paid a huge premium. 172GBP = 260USD. I bought mine for 300USD. 40 dollars more. But I didn't have online banking so I couldn't buy it for 260usd?

You can buy a bitcoin for around $250 on those popular exchanges or $260 on localbitcoins at this moment, so $300 is not a good price. For long-term investment, I do believe bitcoin price could go beyond the previous ATH in a few years, so in that sense buying bitcoin now is a good investment IMHO.

I can't deposit to those exchanges yet because you have to be over 18. And from localbitcoin UK prices I bought my bitcoin only 28GBP more expensive?

It was a very high price. You should try and get some face to face transactions at localbitcoins . Other than that, just get a bank account. Will be useful for you in the long run.

Look at the current price of bitcoin. Something is moving! Huge price spike is on the way. Wait for more than 300$.

If you want to speculate on price then you need to wait until it will become a "good" price to sell. Today seems to be good day, will see tomorrow.

its definitely, an expensive price, but looks like you got lucky with the price going up . Bets to use an exchange site like localbitcoins to rather buy one than waste so much on the fees.

if you dont have an option to pay through bank exchange, then $300 for 1 btc is not bigger. Because you need it and you dont have any other option, then buy it from any where from those who are accepting your offers. But I think you can but any other currency for lesser than this, and exchange it for BTC may be a good option. Any way welcome to the BTC world....

Localbitcoins is present in a lot of countries but not all countries. When it is not present, you can probably get in contact with people having bitcoins and buy them for a 10% premium.
