Title: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: chainroll on February 06, 2015, 02:03:03 PM https://i.imgur.com/elZ5Xp6.png
(http://chainroll.com) Frequently Asked Questions What is Chainroll? What is Chainroll? Chainroll is an easy and fair Bitcoin dice game. You decide for yourself what odds and multiplier you want to bet on. What is the house edge? Only 1%! Is this provably fair? Absolutely, we wouldn't have it any other way. You can find a detailed explanation of this process on our dedicated Provably Fair page (http://chainroll.com/provably_fair). What is the maximum profit and how do I know you will pay when I win? Currently the maximum you can win on a single roll is 2 BTC. We have signed an available bankroll of 200 BTC below to proof to you that we are sufficiently funded to pay out all your wins. I'll give a try. But you could make it off-chain to attract more players, since you have 200 BTC bankroll.

But you could make it off-chain to attract more players, since you have 200 BTC bankroll. I find that site pretty well done. But that chain functionality is part of their domain so I guess they won't be changing it anytime soon. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: Coef on February 06, 2015, 02:32:05 PM Your calculation of "luck factor" doesn't seem to work as you documented.
It seems it is now calculated as no. of wins / no. of bets, rather than no. of wins / no. of expected wins. It may take long to either get confirmed or cancelled. Next time, please don't send any bets to any sites without any fees, as miners may not take your transaction, and so it might not get confirmed, but don't worry, in that case, you will get your funds reversed back to you... @OP, The site looks really interesting with a completely new UI and awesome design, am surely going to try it... Have one question, are you going to allow investments too in your site? Also, I suggest you to please add chatbox to your site, it will let everyone become a community there... :) Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: darkmind on February 06, 2015, 02:52:49 PM Hello, I mistakenly sent a bet with 0 fee and it's not displayed on the site, when will it get processed ? System of that site can place bets with 0? That should not be possible. It may lead to some kind of problems i.e. placing mass 0 bets to slow or crash that site. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: Coef on February 06, 2015, 03:10:09 PM Update : after 16 minutes of waiting, my bet got processed after 1 confirmation, luckily I won the bet :) Awesome dude, you are seriously lucky... I once accidentally placed a bet at luckyb.it without any fee, waited for more than 48 hours for it to get confirmed, and finally it got reversed... Good luck, and don't send any bets without fee next time... :) Well 0 fee transaction will be confirmed reasonably fast if the input(s) is big enough and old enough (there is a general rule of 1 btc-day). Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: chainroll on February 06, 2015, 05:10:25 PM Regarding the 0 fees: when you send a 0 fee, the app will wait for at least 1 confirmation for the transaction to be processed.
Regarding the min bet: when receiving a smaller amount than the one we expect, the bet will be invalidated and the coins are not refunded. Regarding the max bet: when receiving a bigger bet than the one we expect, the extra amount will be sent back together with the winning bet payment or as a new transaction if the bet is lost. I'm glad you guys enjoy the site, we spent some time building it. New features will follow up soon and also a free faucet. Check out this post later on for the details about how to receive free coins. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: chainroll on February 06, 2015, 05:25:33 PM Btw, we just received a message regarding a DDoS attack that might hit us soon if we don't pay a certain fee... So, in case if you get some page loading issues, please keep playing, you can find the bet multipliers in here: https://blockchain.info/tags (the ones tagged as Chainroll) or pick them up from here: http://pastebin.com/nqQLeqT0

Yes, we'll see where we can go from here on, investments being one of the options. For now we'll try to keep it as simple as possible. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: Mist on February 07, 2015, 12:47:05 AM It looks really clean, easy on the eyes. Other than the fact that its another dice site, because we obviously needed more of those, well done.

Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: stellar69 on February 07, 2015, 01:54:58 AM The only problem I find with these sites is that the transaction fee! You have to pay 0.0001BTC to send and then have to also pay 0.0001BTC to receive the winning. If you wanna do a lot of bets then this transaction fee eats up your money.
I like the design. Good luck Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: cryptworld on February 07, 2015, 03:20:14 AM your UI looks really nice, I may sent some bits to test the site

But I think it's:
a good idea and a nice looking site Looking forward to seeing what kinds of promotions you guys come up with, then I will play here :) Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: resya on February 08, 2015, 03:42:29 AM Can you show to people the lucky number generated on every bet and a link to prove it was provably fair ?
Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: Dannie on February 08, 2015, 03:49:10 AM Everything looks great but just one nitpick: The bets table will look more tidy if the bet time is shown as HH:MM:SS rather than HH:M:SS.

Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest On-Chain Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: yakuza699 on February 10, 2015, 06:58:35 PM I would like to report a bug. Look at this transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/349e63c8a899ac44d64f06019d0292666e1ea7a026177738e5b59c263a27b57e (https://blockchain.info/tx/349e63c8a899ac44d64f06019d0292666e1ea7a026177738e5b59c263a27b57e) I did 15 different bets on x1.1 reward and all of them lost. Seems very legit. What I think happened is that my first bet lost and all of the follow up bets lost just because of it because like literally what are the chances to loss all 15 bets in a row on x1.1 bet. I even made a screenshot http://s1.postimg.org/6v95t1g3z/Capture.png (http://s1.postimg.org/6v95t1g3z/Capture.png) If one of my bets lost that is okay but please return the re-meaning 0.14BTC

OP could you please clarify this, and make amendment to your FAQ if needed? Quote How many network confirmations does it take before my bet is processed? All bets are processed and payed instantaneous (0 confirmations). There are exceptions based on risk criteria where we delay the payout until the bet is confirmed by the network. Nevertheless you are always able to see the result of your bet immediatly on this site. What kind of risk criteria are you looking at? 0 fee? Unconfirmed inputs? Yup 3% is a LOT , considering that many dice sites already exist, it is better to lower the house edge and not increase it. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: BlackTradeCapital on March 06, 2015, 03:54:26 PM The interface of this website is awesome. I think you guys need investment option and affiliate option which will attract much much more players because there are a whole lot worse dice games out there making a lot more then you guys undeservably. With right PR , you guys can shake the top (well not PrimeDice but definetly top 5 material here) Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: yakuza699 on March 06, 2015, 04:06:00 PM I must admit I kinda liked the earlier on-chain chainroll more than this I would rather pay 0.0001BTC fess than play at a 2% house edge.Any plans to implement both on-chain and off-chain?
Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: BlackTradeCapital on March 06, 2015, 04:08:54 PM I would drop the %2 to %1 because it seems like that kinda bothers people a lot. Actually I would make it a way that , the more you wager , the less your house edge is. That way , if you just bet 0.00001 , your house edge is %5 , if you wager 1btc+ house edge is %0.5 , something like that... That would also get awful lot of customers. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: yakuza699 on March 06, 2015, 04:29:30 PM 2% house edge ? Are you serious Are you crazy bro? The house must have an edge against player or else the house would be gambling and would have the same chance as a player to get profit. Most dice site only have 1% house edge or less I think it's better to keep both on-chain & off-chain 0% house edge for on-chain & less than 1% house edge for off-chain Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: panjul07 on March 06, 2015, 10:19:52 PM i cant see where to find the faucet to try the site You can find it on left edge of the site. click the "GET FREE BTC" Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: chainroll on March 07, 2015, 11:04:01 AM The interface of this website is awesome. Affiliates will come next and then we'll look into investments. I like the custom house edge idea, we'll definitely do something about it. I'm also wondering if a chat is something that people would like to have on the site. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin Post by: BlackTradeCapital on March 07, 2015, 03:56:18 PM Chat is something you can definetly take advantage of , people go there and bond friendships with people there and you can see how that can get people go back to the same casino. If you have chat and couple of regulars talking there and known there , that can definetly attract new people. Affiliate is a must , if you have enough capital , don't bother with investment. Just want to ask : how your site calculate the total wager of each player? As long as I know wager is total bet's amount I've made. But what I get in your site is not like that. This screenshot for example : http://prntscr.com/6ji52i , only for this screenshot my total bets is more than 170k satoshi but in my profile, my total wager is only 86k satoshi for all my bets (800bets when I write this) Or maybe this because of my bets were on 10x multiplier, so I do not get 100%? if it is yes, how much is the percentage of 10x multiplier will be counted as wagering? Title: Re: 1 mBTC Bonus - Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: panjul07 on March 21, 2015, 02:52:05 PM Get the answer, so for bonuses the wager is counted like this : wager X (multiplier/100)

Stay tuned! promo code was received on email thank you ;) is it must to wager or can withdraw instantly? Just checked it on the "bonuses" tab and it says that we need to rollover 40x and its based on multiplier lol Quote * Note (only for promo bonuses, not faucet): Once you activate a bonus, your payments get blocked until you wager the entire TARGET WAGER balance. The contribution to your TARGET WAGER depends on the multiplier you roll the dice with and it's calculated by the following formula: WAGER * (MULTIPLIER / 100) . i.e.: If I roll the dice with a wager of 0.1 and a multiplier of x50 my final TARGET WAGER contribution will be: 0.1 * (50 / 100) = 0.05 BTC . The higher the BET and the MULTIPLIER - the faster you will reach the TARGET WAGER and unlock your payments. Good luck! These are getting really popular. One question, your topic mentions a 1mBTC bonus but the OP says nothing about that. What's up with the bonus? Is it for signing up? For depositing? Any rollover? (etc?) OP sent the 1mbtc bonus to any email address in their database. The rollover is as I posted before : Quote * Note (only for promo bonuses, not faucet): Once you activate a bonus, your payments get blocked until you wager the entire TARGET WAGER balance. Good luck! Yes, thanks I found the rollover requriments. So, I signed up by clicking "get started" then I set a username and password. If I put an email addres is he still wanting to give out the bonus or is that over? All in all, I appreciated that the site didn't take a lot of cpu resources like many of the javascript dice sites do. We'll also drop the restrictions so you don't have to wager the bets by the multiplier. Stay tuned for a new promo! If you would spent some time to actually read it, this has been discussed just a few post above yours, you need to wager 40x the bonus amount with formula as below Quote WAGER * (MULTIPLIER / 100) . i.e.: If I roll the dice with a wager of 0.1 and a multiplier of x50 my final TARGET WAGER contribution will be: 0.1 * (50 / 100) = 0.05 BTC . LOL, I don't wanna waste my time on the tiny money, if I wanna make tiny money, I prefer playing poker freeroll, at least i can train my skills. I got another bonus link from my friend. You do not need to waste your time. Just do what I did : set autobet for 1000x multiplier with basebet 1000satoshi https://i.imgur.com/SEtdQGl.png But of course you need to be lucky enough LOL I won at 1000x twice in in less than 150 rolls, but the first was only 100satoshi. My balance now is 0.01xx with total wager 0.01 , need more 0.03 to be able to cash out. next to do is set autobet at 1000x with basebet 3000 satoshi, and set the max rolls to 100x. So when it is end, my total wager will be 0.04 and I will able to cash out at least 7mbtc (if I lost the last 100x rolls) but of course I hope will get another 1000x ;D Title: Re: 1 mBTC Bonus - Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: chainroll on March 31, 2015, 05:02:30 PM Hey guys, we have some new changes on our platform:
1. Affiliates can withdraw their money at any time now with only a click of a button at chainroll.com/affiliate (http://chainroll.com/affiliate) 2. For bonus wagering, the minimum multiplier we apply to your wager is 3%. That means that if you roll your dice with a x1.5 multiplier we still count it as a 3%. Isn't that awesome? Enjoy! I think they give this kind of weird promo because they are not as rich as other dice sites. They just want to attract more players to play in their website without spending a lot of money. ;D Title: Re: 1 mBTC Bonus - Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: shulio on April 02, 2015, 05:51:50 PM but think that bonus promo is not a good campaign with high rollover 40x, so admin must run another campaign with flexible rollover or like PD without any rollover. They just want to attract more players to play in their website without spending a lot of money. ;D this is simply because they are not giving you a free money but instead a bonus to try the site out, with this mass sending bonus to all user, it is actually quite big chunk of coins, not to mention if there are someone who managed to get pass the wager requirement Title: Re: 1 mBTC Bonus - Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: panjul07 on April 08, 2015, 11:55:29 AM Are you here @chainroll?

Just wanna share, this is my second bonus code and I got more profit than the first. Rollover : http://prntscr.com/6swpr1 Bonus Balance : http://prntscr.com/6swq9j Need 5mbtc more to reach the rollover, but it will easy to reach since my bonus balance is more than 11mbtc. Next to do : set basebet 500satoshi with 1000x multiplier, so I will reach the rollover with 100roll x 500satoshi = 50k satoshi. And if I lose these 100rolls,so my final balance will be : 11mbtc - 50k satoshi = ...?? ;) Note : I do this no more than 30minutes, LUCK is still with me. ;D Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: chainroll on April 13, 2015, 12:50:08 PM Congratulations! 36 players unlocked their bonuses so far.

Of course there are more players in your site when you spread the bonus codes. But when those players failed to reach the rollover requirement, they just leave your site and will come back when you spread another bonus codes. I think you need to think about another promotions to make players stay longer in your site. That's a good suggestion, I agree with that 100%. A twitter/fb campaign can help expose the site to a lot of potential players who are otherwise unaware of it. Not even better for newbie like me, i still cant joint into your new signature campaign.. But from this site i already like the free mbtc that i got from email once a week if i not wrong.. Yes you're right, there were bonus codes sent to users, but seems that they have already stopped it since they started a sign campaign. But I doubt on the effectiveness of their sign campaign, I dont see significant effects of the campaign. I can't see that there are more active players...only 1-2players play when I visit the site. @OP : do you have any plans to do more promotions? The signature campaign was started just 4-5 days ago, everything takes time panju. Don't jump to conclusions so fast. I am sure they have other promotions planned too. ;) Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: panjul07 on May 04, 2015, 04:27:17 AM Since it was brought up -- in another thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745422.msg11277614#msg11277614) i thought i'd repost it here. Quote Imagine someone bets 0.01 BTC at 1% win chance, and they bet 100 times. The player has an expected loss of -0.01, the casino has an expected win of 0.01 BTC. But they've promised the referrer 5% of the total losses or: 0.0495 BTC. In other words in this case, they're promising the referrer ~5x the amount they're actually making. I tested it a few months back -- had an affiliate (who shows up in the stats) who (iirc) deposited 0.05 BTC and churned the money until it was nothing. And I unsurprisingly never got a satoshi in affiliate earnings. I do not really understand what are you talking about. "Since it was brought up" , do you mean "it" refers ro chainroll? Because I cant find anyone talked about chainroll in another thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745422.msg11277614#msg11277614) Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: arallmuus on May 04, 2015, 05:40:53 AM Since it was brought up -- in another thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745422.msg11277614#msg11277614) i thought i'd repost it here. Because I cant find anyone talked about chainroll in another thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745422.msg11277614#msg11277614) It refers to the referall comission that chainroll is offering since it was brought up in diceninja thread from the conversation of lorenzo and dooglus Espringe was simply stating that it might be a bogus. In shorts since the house edge is 1 % and the referral commision is 5 % chainroll is offering 5x of what the house make i.e Someone wagered 1 BTC , since the house edge is 1 %. The expected loss is 0.01 BTC but chainroll is offering 5% of what the user loss in short it is 5x of what the players lose ( espringe version ) My version will be slightly different since in this case 5 % loss could mean that whatever the amount that the players loss in the play will be calculated with 5 % which will be our referall comission i.e Someone wagered 1 BTC and his loss is 0.2 BTC . House will give 5 % of it which means 0.2 BTC x 0.05 = 0.01 BTC (my version and I could be wrong about this ) Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: twister on May 04, 2015, 10:05:10 AM I tried this site today with an email I got from it but one of the codes were I think already expired. Really nice clean interface, however I couldn't figure out how to make the bets go over than under but the auto bets are really fast.

There is only one option to bet, that is bet under xxx number so there is no way to make the bets go over xxx number.. Isn't there a button on chainroll to change the color? Perhaps I'm remembering wrong but I thought they had night/day modes. Even if they don't, you can always just change the color of the background with javascript in your browser: document.getElementById("idofthedifyouwannachangethebackgroundof").style.background.color="white"; Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: panjul07 on May 15, 2015, 03:24:09 AM We're sending new promo codes tomorrow. Title: Re: Chainroll | The Easiest Dice Game in Bitcoin - 1% House Edge Post by: bitbaby on May 15, 2015, 04:03:13 AM You can use "Color That Site!" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/color-that-site/) Extension if you're on Firefox (might be a version of it for Chrome too), doesn't require any knowledge and you can use it to change colors of any website.

Sure thing. BTW, bibaby's suggestion about a FF extension might be easier. But I took a look at the chainroll site and it's quite simple to change the background in just a few clicks. In FF, I just right-click on the background of the page, and then select "inspect element". The inspection window opens up and the background div is highlighted. On chainroll, it's a <div> with a class "container". Anyway, at that point, you can click into the right panel where it is showing CSS rules and you can click into the section called "element" and then type in "background:green" or whatever color you want. That worked for me when I just tried it. In that same "inspection" panel, you can click into "console" and type (or cut-n-paste) in some javascript to do the same thing for all the elements of class "container". Two lines: Code: var ctns = document.getElementsByClassName("container"); The first line gets all the elements of class "container" and the second line loops through them and turns their backgrounds green. That also turned the background green for me. Change "green" to whatever you want. I note, however, that the list of "container" elements was only a single one, so it's a little strange that "container" is a class and not an id. But whatever. Anyway, you could also use an add on like greasemonkey to save this javascript to always run on chainroll. Hope it helps! Have fun! Have you sent this promo code? I dont get it yet. Do I need to fill out this form https://chainroll.wufoo.com/forms/z1ggn9uo1jvp8ht/ with my email to get the bonus code? Last time I try the form (a month ago), it was not working/no longer accepting submissions. But just tried to fill the form and it works. Lets see I will get the bonus code or not? P.S : Anyone got the bonus code already? It's really easy in a modern browser with the javascript consoles. True, but I think it is better if admin can add a "theme" drop down menu with a few different color schemes so that users can change it easily with 1 click. (Admin of chainroll, pm me if you need a little javascript button to change up the theme color for your users).
