I find that site pretty well done. But that chain functionality is part of their domain so I guess they won't be changing it anytime soon.

Your calculation of  "luck factor" doesn't seem to work as you documented.
It seems it is now calculated as no. of wins / no. of bets, rather than no. of wins / no. of expected wins.

Hello, I mistakenly sent a bet with 0 fee and it's not displayed on the site, when will it get processed ?

It may take long to either get confirmed or cancelled. Next time, please don't send any bets to any sites without any fees, as miners may not take your transaction, and so it might not get confirmed, but don't worry, in that case, you will get your funds reversed back to you...

Awesome dude, you are seriously lucky... I once accidentally placed a bet at luckyb.it without any fee, waited for more than 48 hours for it to get confirmed, and finally it got reversed... Good luck, and don't send any bets without fee next time... :)

I just wonder. System of that site can place bets with 0? That should not be possible. It may lead to some kind of problems i.e. placing mass 0 bets to slow or crash that site.

Well 0 fee transaction will be confirmed reasonably fast if the input(s) is big enough and old enough (there is a general rule of 1 btc-day).

Regarding the 0 fees: when you send a 0 fee, the app will wait for at least 1 confirmation for the transaction to be processed.

Regarding the min bet: when receiving a smaller amount than the one we expect, the bet will be invalidated and the coins are not refunded.

Regarding the max bet: when receiving a bigger bet than the one we expect, the extra amount will be sent back together with the winning bet payment or as a new transaction if the bet is lost.

The only problem I find with these sites is that the transaction fee! You have to pay 0.0001BTC to send and then have to also pay 0.0001BTC to receive the winning. If you wanna do a lot of bets then this transaction fee eats up your money.

I think that risk criteria might be due to double spending as all of the other gambling sites have it, and require atleast 1 or 2 confirmations before processing bets.

Last time I checked your house edge was 1%, but it is now 3%. I have no idea why you made the change, but you won't get much business with that high house edge.

 I would drop the %2 to %1 because it seems like that kinda bothers people a lot. Actually I would make it a way that , the more you wager , the less your house edge is. That way , if you just bet 0.00001 , your house edge is %5 , if you wager 1btc+ house edge is %0.5 , something like that... That would also get awful lot of customers.

i.e Someone wagered 1 BTC , since the house edge is 1 %. The expected loss is 0.01 BTC but chainroll is offering 5% of what the user loss in short it is 5x of what the players lose ( espringe version )


My version will be slightly different since in this case 5 % loss could mean that whatever the amount that the players loss in the play will be calculated with 5 % which will be our referall comission

I tried this site today with an email I got from it but one of the codes were I think already expired. Really nice clean interface, however I couldn't figure out how to make the bets go over than under but the auto bets are really fast.

There is only one option to bet, that is bet under xxx number so there is no way to make the bets go over xxx number..

The red color of the interface of the site is making eye tired, maybe change another color is much better.

Isn't there a button on chainroll to change the color?  Perhaps I'm remembering wrong but I thought they had night/day modes.  Even if they don't, you can always just change the color of the background with javascript in your browser:

I dont think that they have night/day mode feature, and thanks for the idea/suggestion how the way to change the background's color but unfortunately not all members understand about javascript including me :)

You can use "Color That Site!" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/color-that-site/) Extension if you're on Firefox (might be a version of it for Chrome too), doesn't require any knowledge and you can use it to change colors of any website.

Sure thing.  BTW, bibaby's suggestion about a FF extension might be easier.  But I took a look at the chainroll site and it's quite simple to change the background in just a few clicks.  In FF, I just right-click on the background of the page, and then select "inspect element".  The inspection window opens up and the background div is highlighted.  On chainroll, it's a <div> with a class "container".  Anyway, at that point, you can click into the right panel where it is showing CSS rules and you can click into the section called "element" and then type in "background:green" or whatever color you want.  That worked for me when I just tried it.

In that same "inspection" panel, you can click into "console" and type (or cut-n-paste) in some javascript to do the same thing for all the elements of class "container".  Two lines:


The first line gets all the elements of class "container" and the second line loops through them and turns their backgrounds green.  That also turned the background green for me.  Change "green" to whatever you want.

I note, however, that the list of "container" elements was only a single one, so it's a little strange that "container" is a class and not an id.  But whatever.  Anyway, you could also use an add on like greasemonkey to save this javascript to always run on chainroll.

You can change the color as you want, just  try bitbaby's suggestion (I think this is the simple way to change the color of any sites)

Or try my suggestion just above it, you can learn your first javascript this way even if you've never coded before.  It's really easy in a modern browser with the javascript consoles.

True, but I think it is better if admin can add a "theme" drop down menu with a few different color schemes so that users can change it easily with 1 click.
