Created on bitcoinpaperwallet.com Sent $1, then copied to to a text file. Public: 19c8pHjh8d5R2XkwUq74QuHEDFJcKER1vs Private: 5JmdXtN7fDwaD8ZH2a1ksEeotDaw6WKahgCCArLZmCV8RLBAiDW I tried sweeping the private key in coinbase & paper wallet android app. Neither worked... complaining it's improper format. The length looks okay. Can anyone explain what's wrong? If you figure out, please keep the $1 as tip. I only ask you please explain to me the problem. This worked 5JmdXtN7fDwaD8ZH2a1ksEeotDaw6WKahgCCArLZmCV8RLBAiDW Which, strangely looks exactly the same. It turns out, somehow an invisible (unicode?) character had been introduced after the "Daw6", when I pasted it somewhere that inserted the line break. I managed to find the non-alphanumeric using rege[Suspicious link removed] Once I removed that character... imported the $1 into coinbase. Title: Re: What's wrong with this private address? Mostly when copy/pasting passwords, though. Why would there even be unicode characters for '' (nothing)? Title: Re: What's wrong with this private address?
