There are two ways to be associated with PICISI as a contractor:

1)  as a Promotion Contractor where you work for PICISI and are paid with Pi (currency code NUMUS) by PICISI.

Multiplatform news aggregators are a package of three apps (Android, WP and Win 8) Rss aggregation apps. They will stream RSS feeds from official sources (Social Accounts, Blog, etc)

After we issue our token, from a list of work assignments (sample above) people will choose specific assignments, once the job is satisfactorily completed we will compensate the person  (Promotion Contractor) with the number of tokens indicated for the job.  Our tokens will be available to buy and sell at exchanges, on a regular basis we will use the fees derived from fiat to buy our tokens at prevailing rates at an exchange (pref a PICISI sponsor).  In this way our coin/token will be relativity strong and stable because it will be tied to the business.   That's also why there would be no need to promote the coin because it would be used multiple ways in the business.

If you want to do work prior to the token launch we will pay a negotiated sum in any currency you wish, including fiat.  

What we need most are recruiters and administrators.  
Secondarily, we need a video to explain how PICISI works.

I'm a little bit confused on what your looking for, but if you need a digital colorist I can assist in that.  I've been coloring for 6 years (commercials/music videos/short films/video games)

Thanks for your post, hopefully PICISI will be less confusing in a month's time, for now I'll answer any question you have.  PICISI will be a crowdfunding website that accepts fiat and crypto, all of the promotion for the site itself (not the campaigns on the site) will be done by Promotion Contractors who will get paid according to a long list of assignments we need done (example schedule above).  After PICISI has launched at times crowdfunding campaign organizers will want professional help creating, developing, and/or  promoting their campaign(s).  That work is done by Campaign Contractors who would work for the organizer with PICISI as a broker.

Based on what you do my guess is that you would likely be more involved with the Organizers, but at times you may find yourself bidding a PICISI job two.  

If you do a PICISI job you are paid with our tokens, if you do an organizer job you will be paid in the currency selected by them.  Of course we could convert it to a CC of your choice, or fiat of your choice, for a fee.  

For now I will make a note of the fact that you (Damiano) are a digital colorist and that you do commercials, music videos, short films. and games.

I like your style and desire to do in-depth interviews.  

In the run up to the PICISI site launch I have many articles to write explaining all about PICISI.  At PICISI writers are always in great demand, firstly as Promotion Contractors (working for PICISI), and also as Campaign Contractors (working for campaign organizers) .

As a Promotion Contractor (writer) you would write for PICISI and be paid by PICISI with tokens we issue.  The fiat we earn in fees are used to buy our tokens on the open market.  If we have an official Exchange sponsor we will buy all of our tokens at that specific exchange.    Our tokens should have strong and stable value because they will be tied to a business that actually uses them in multiple ways.   There are various kinds of writing assignment, mainly press releases and articles about PICISI, and/or host CC, and/or specific campaigns at the site.  

As a Campaign Contractor (writer) you are employed by the Campaign Organizer, we escrow funds and broker the deal.  Organizers often want to publicize their campaigns with professionally written articles and/or press releases to boost their respective campaigns.

I know you came to me regarding writing, however I invite you to also consider being a Referral Agent.  I think iGot Echange (owned by Rick Day) would be an excellent contact to be the official Exchange sponsor for PICISI.  As a Referral Agent you could officially refer iGot Exchange to PICISI, in this way if iGot became PICISI's official exchange sponsor, you would earn a referral fee.  

If iGot was our official exchange sponsor we would buy all of our tokens only on their exchange, this would drive traffic to their site.  We will also use their site for our escrow service.

To answer your question more pointedly, yes, we will pay you btc or any currency of your choosing for the work that is done prior to issuance of the PiCISI issued tokens.

Exciting Unexpected Premature Good News

On May 3rd I was informed that of the 600 million websites on the internet, www.PICISI.com is ranked at 22 million.  That was phenomenal news considering there is nothing at the site and we didn't ask anyone to go there.  Our plan regarding site performance was to start monitoring it after we launch but since it is now listed we will start monitoring ranking immediately.  

Apparently the prelaunch buzz is effective and caused people to search out the site.  That curiosity was recognized by Alexa.com, the foremost authority on site rankings, who ranked PICISI.com.

Today I took a look at the ranking, to my amazement it was adjusted to ~17M at this rate we expect to rise though the ranks fairly quickly.  Our ranking goal is to be under 100K in 3 months and under 10K in 6 months.  For perspective coinmarketcap.com is ranked at 14,406 worldwide, and bitcointalk.org is ranked at 5,645 worldwide.

The underlined point is that 'industry pros' don't take alexa.com seriously and perhaps shouldn't, nevertheless Alexa.com remains THE site ranking authority.  Please tell me which ranking sites are more comprehensive, have more intelligence (accurate info), and are as well known or trusted? 

I'll accept the 'Alexa.com is inadequate' thing when I find a suitable replacement, until then what industry pros think is irrelevant. 

As for Kickstarter, they have a huge lead on us, but the scope of what they do and who they serve, on both sides of the deal, are very limited, they could do far better but clearly don't need to and have consciously chosen not to.   

Google was not the first, second, or third search engine when they started, but they were confident that they knew how to squeeze more money from a search engine business than any other, and that's exactly what they did over and over again.

Look at the crowdfunding industry as it is now, freeze it in time, then look at it again 6 mos after we launch, you will notice that many crowdfunding sites will either duplicate many of our features or will go the way of the 'dogpile' search engine.

PICISI is bringing a wholly different approach to crowdfunding, one that the crowdfunding community was expecting, has been asking for, and still wants.

This article is more than an article about gaming, a particular CC, or a crowdfunding start-up, this article is actually represents a bridge between the CC world and the CF world.  Their target audience is extremely limited and highly focused, the audience is essentially made up of two types of people: campaign organizers and campaign donors.  If you look at the DNA of a CF organizer, a CF donor, and a CC speculator you will see very little difference because we are all cut from the same cloth, we are all: visionaries, strivers, investors, adventurers, gamblers, thinkers, creators, doers, motivators, leaders ... etc ... you know what I'm talking about because you are one too.

That article represents a CC story being told in a foreign CF land as such we should do what we can to support our story in their land so that more of them are encouraged and inspired to know more about our world.

Although it is true that the 'send and receive' process is automated, what is not always automated is what the receiver of the material does with the material.  
In this cased it was not automatic and the writer actually did some homework before publishing the story.

"The ONLY difference is a couple of added images. Word-for-word, it's a replica."  As I indicated, its a reprint, but certainly was not a word for word replica, not even in the title.  If you read what she was given and read what she wrote you will see a greater understanding of PICISI.  You could tell that the writer actually researched the material.  From what I could tell the PICISI crowdfunding logo was not provided directly as an image in the feed story, or indirectly via a link in the story.  To get that image the writer very likely went outside of what she was hand-fed.

I believe Crowdfund Insider has seen some material about PICISI from CrowdfundingPR.com but dismissed it since it was a single source but now that some material came from a new source, one that is much larger and categorically distant from crowdfunding, she decided to look into it further and run (perhaps jog) with the story to the extent that she did.

Allow me to put it a totally different way, the 'replica' story was 'picked up' by very many news agencies, and will be read by many of their readers. One non news agency that picked up the story actually read it, and that source is a major lead for the CC world to be examined by the CF world which is why it WAS [old news now] so important for us to encourage CC people to support that article.

Here is a more comprehensive view: Vod is assuming facts in evidence, and more importantly if he or anyone simply look at the fact or the evidence everyone should see the truth.  Here are the facts PICISI is a business plan taking shape, I am the designer of the plan.   A critical part of that plan is formation of the org, creation of the site, and creation of currency. 

Vod didn't read the plan, didn't read the articles about the plan, nor did he read the threads about the plan, because had he done any or all of them he would have found that there was never any plan for PICISI to be a charity, that it was always the plan for PICISI to be a business, and the plan was for the business to help give CC more exposure in real world applications.

The evidence of those facts is more than obvious, the site prerequisites imply that no site presently exists, the site prerequisites also imply that once those goals are met that something else will occur, when you look at the individual prerequisites in relation to all of them the viewer should reasonable conclude that soon after all goals are achieved the basic tools will be in place to create the business.

You don't need a license to market a plan, you don't need a license to raise money to form a org or any type, you don't need a license put the pieces together for the creation of that business.

Vod mentioned a 'corporation' and 'board of directors'  where did he get that from?  Who called PICISI a corporation? Who said PICISI has a board of directors?  No one that I see, Vod is the only person putting that out there to my knowledge.   Given that Vod used the word "stakeholders" like this: "stakeholders (no corporation license!)" I assume Vod has confused the words "stakeholders" with the word "stockholders".  Again he allowed his preconceived notions to prejudice his judgement.  It's important to note that I corrected that error of his earlier however he likely didn't read it or believe it. 

and lastly,

Vod mentioned 'collection of large sums of money', he really needs to explain that because PICISI does plan on making large sums of money, over and over again, and I would not be foolish to run away from that.

I'm looking for people to help me manage PICISI it requires that interested parties read all of the articles presently available about PICISI, and have a solid understanding about PICISI in addition to being suitable for the position sought.  So that when more FUD arrives at PICISI's doorstep more of us are ready to defend her.

It has come to my attention that Vod was feed poor intelligence by someone wanting to be a PICISI sponsor, the information did not originate from any PICISI sponsor as we were lead to believe.  Not one of the 23 PICISI sponsors issued a complaint, requested a refund, or expressed a desire to change their association.

So all of Vod's irresponsible behavior was not in defense of any of PICISI's sponsors, that's why he would not tell me who it was because he could not, it was a total fabrication, no sponsor complaint ever existed.

To everyone reading this message PICISI is a good plan, PICISI will be an honorable company, and PICISI will do great things for the CC industry.

As a direct result of this madness the following change is now in effect -- sponsorship will no longer be open to all, there is only 1 sponsorship invitation outstanding, I am now withdrawing that invitation.  If someone wants to be a PICISI sponsor it will be incumbent on them to persuade PICISI as to why that should be.

What does it take to get sponsorship status, anyways, and what's the benefit of becoming one? These are huge things potential sponsors would love to know. You asked "what does it take to get sponsorship  status", a protocol has not been set-up as of yet however it will be along the lines of what the CC client wants from PICISI in terms of performance. There are about 15 different sponsorship opportunities.   The two general sponsorship opportunities were: a PICISI endorsement, if you like PICISI and you want to show your support for the endeavor let me know however way you wish.  That is the one that ceased with the above mention.   The other general sponsorship will be automatic, the top 10 sponsors are featured in ranking order in the margins of the site's home page.

All of the rest are specific, the most popular is expected to be the 4 mentioned in the article:
1) host CC sponsor
2) Perk sponsor
3) campaign body sponsor
and
4) video sponsor

If someone created the account 'Official Theymos' it would be considered 'scammy', if they then used the account to give others the impression that they speak for 'Theymos' or for 'bitcointalk.org' it would be considered misrepresentation.  EVEN if they later created a website called 'theofficialbitcointalk.org' website.  

The simple fact is it would be misbehavior because it would misrepresent the truth.

These are only a few of the issues currently being discussed with numerous levels of authority on this site and outside of this site.

7 KEYS TO PICKING A SOLID CRYPTOCURRENCY

The internet age has birthed a number of new business sectors that are changing how business is done globally, one of those sectors is Crowdfunding and another is Cryptocurrency (CC). There are nearly 2000 different CCs to choose from the biggest and most popular is bitcoin, but are there other great opportunities to find? The answer is yes, if you search and research carefully.

Here are 7 keys to picking a solid cryptocurrency:

1) Creator’s Vision – every CC creator has a plan, most of the time the plan is focused around high technology, and/or sophisticated features, often absent from common plans are marketing, distribution, or adoption strategies. It is recommended that you know the CC creator’s vision for the CC even if the developer is no longer personally available. A supportive community should be able to articulate a clear vision for the currency.

PICISI is the creator of Pi, they have a well articulated vision for the CC. Pi will be used more as a currency than a commodity. As a currency Pi will be used a) as a means of exchange between Promotion Contractors and PICISI; b) to raise start-up funds and to procure multiple operational licenses; c) as a host CC option for Campaign Organizers at PICISI; and d) as a payment alternative for PICISI sponsors paying fees. A major aspect of PICISI’s vision is the plan to “rebuy” Pi on the open market.

2) Integrity – decentralization in the CC industry essentially means: ‘no central point of responsible’ however to some it means: ‘many are independently willing to accept responsibility’. Responsive, accountable, and transparent are character traits often used to describe good caretakers of a currency.

Although Pi is technically a decentralized currency because it is built on a decentralized platform, it should be viewed as a hybrid because a large amount of the currency will be controlled by PICISI.

3) Community – all of the people directly involved with a CC including: the creator, administrators, investors, supporters, anyone that uses the CC, watchers/trackers/followers of the CC, regular contractors for the CC, including the uninvolved supporters (endorsers) of the CC should be considered part of the CC’s community.

Some good sign of a healthy community is daily interaction, regular update of meaningful content, some form of leadership, a healthy mix of membership tenure, respectful interactions, and a growing membership.

PICISI is at the prelaunch stage with an impressive community size of about 40 members: 2 admins, 22 sponsors, 16 Promotion Contractors, and 6 volunteer. Their prelaunch strategy clearly is to ‘hit the ground running’ to insure a healthy beginning.

4) Structure & Security – in the CC universe centralization is a bad word, however whenever a major upgrade is needed or the market rate for the CC takes a disappointing turn investors are always looking for someone to “handle it”. Foundations, elected leaders, and/or individuals who ‘step-up’ to assume leadership roles are stabilizing forces for a currency.

At every point in the development of a currency security is vital, safety enables a currency to be able to grow into a strong currency.

At some point a currency must perform as a currency otherwise it is a commodity, or worse a space holder. Productive performance means it has an articulated purpose and is visible, recognized, and woven into the culture.

Pi’s purpose is articulated in the developer’s vision, the currency was created to be used mainly as a currency for 4 specific purposes, however the primary purpose for the currency is a means to pay Promotion Contractors located worldwide for providing services to tell the rest of the world what PICISI has to offer.

6) Utility – between ‘purpose’ and ‘performance’ is ‘adoption’, adoption of a currency often refers to merchant acceptance or willingness to accept a currency. Utility often refers to a currency’s usage.

Many times CCs create for themselves a niche market choosing to focus on a particular segment of the market instead of the whole market, eg: HYPER and GoldPieces focus on the gaming industry, and EMC2 and Gridcoin focus on science research.

PICISI has chosen to limit the market size substantially by tying Pi to the business. The currency was built to serve the business needs of PICISI. Although it will likely expand far beyond it’s original plans; and

Since my last entry our site ranking has improved by another 1M positions, I received some inquires regarding the admin positions and investment opportunities.   We have four administrative positions we are trying to fill: Deputy Director, Communications Director, Promotions Director, and Content Director; although the plan calls for all of them to be in place before launch I'm reconsidering that since I'm having such a difficult time recruiting.

Your experience could be maximized as Dep Dir, but you may like being Promo Dir you can decide what you want to go for during the interview.  If you want to go for the Comm Dir position there is a bit more to the interview than the other positions.  

I would say, if you like to get into the front end of things the Promo Dir would be good, if you rather stay behind the scenes, writing protocols, proposals, letters, etc ... then Dep Dir is the way to go. The Dep Dir will also have more involvement with Pi (the PICISI issued currency).    At this point in our development, everyone is doing everything.

Our top priority is recruitment of admins, second to that is creation of relationships that will support our future efforts. this involves a tremendous amount of legwork.

As the site develops so too will the various admin positions and the departments that will eventually be created around them.  We need self-starters who could work with the team and follow instruction.   Everyone must be productive.

PICISI.com should be in alpha testing for a week once that is complete we will announce the currency launch date. 

After alpha testing, the site will be in beta testing.  In beta testing the site will have limited tools however real campaigns can be conducted.  For a limited time there will be no site fees charged although paypal or wepay will have their fees for services they provide.

The official launch of the site will take place after beta testing is complete.  Hopefully by that time management will be fully staffed.

PICISI experienced a recent setback that resulted in the replacement of her developer, the new developer took over on Monday.

Just wanted to post publicly and say I got my reward today! I'm looking forward to helping move things along, :). Though I do think a run-down of how "currencies" in NXT work would be helpful. I get the assets and such, but this is my first time with something classified as a currency.

Essentially an Asset is something you own of value, it need not be physical.  Financially the owner does a valuation and buyer/lender/investor does a valuation, then the parties determine the extent they want to be involved with the instrument.  Do they want to lend based on it, or do they want to buy a share of it based on potential profits, etc ...

A Currency a different story, if there was only one currency in the world it would only be a currency, however once you introduce other currencies to the world then people will see advantages to having one currency over the other in different circumstances.  As such, the birth of the currency exchange market.  

When a currency is used as a means of exchange between buyer and seller for good or services the face value of that currency doesn't change with supply and demand of the currency.  However, if it is more advantageous to me to get one currency over another it is in the comparison of the different currencies that I may want one currency over another and that is when I'm looking at the currency as a commodity -- something to be purchased (or sold).  Only when currency is viewed as a commodity does it have a price, that is when the law of supply and demand effect the value of the price of that currency.  

NXTs Monetary System allows the creator of the currency to place on it many different investment features, like
-  Exchangeable
-  Controllable
-  Reservable
-  Claimable
-  Mintable
-  Non-Shuffleable

those features enhance the commodity side of the currency with various opportunities.  The strength of all currencies is in utility, the more that it is used the greater value it will have.  Given Pi's role in the long-term development of PI it will be an extremely strong coin.

The site really needs a FAQ page (if there is one, it wasn't clear enough how to access it -- should be in the footer with the other links) as that's the first page most of us hit first when looking at new sites like this.

In order to better appreciate the varying strengths of the PICISI community we have identified 3 specific levels of support:  

Sponsors are individuals or entities that pay a fee to meaningfully engage with PICISI for a set period of time.  For CCs engagement is expected to be sponsorship of crowdfunding campaigns, but it could also be in other measurable ways involving social media and/or Pi investment.

Advertisers simply pay for specific promotions; they may but are not required to engage the site in any other way.

Endorsers are those who support the PICISI vision and have permit the fact to be publicly known; they may but are not expected to engage the site in any other way.

Can you please explain what the titles mean? For example:

"Host CC"
"Ad Perk max #4 p/camp"
"Donation Perk max #4 p/camp"

etc.? As well as what the prices relate to (Host CC says "$1.10" -- is that permanent, monthly, weekly, daily, CPM?).

PICISI.com has three classifications of corporate support: 'endorser', 'advertiser', and 'sponsor'.   The endorser supports us in word and/or deed but is not expected to pay for anything.  The advertiser pays for specific advertisements placed, they are not expected to engage with the site via social networking or offline activities.  Sponsors pay a fee to be a sponsor, currently that fee is $100 USD for a term of 6 mos.  Sponsors are expected to support the site by buying advertising at locations on the site; sponsors are also expected to support individual campaigns by being the host CC sponsor, a advertising perk sponsor, a donation Perk sponsor, a campaign sponsor, and/or the video sponsor; and lastly sponsors are expected to support the site at times with favorable engagement on social media in the form of comments, likes, shares, favorites, etc ...

Definitions for terms used above:

1)  General Sponsorship Fee  6 month term - this fee buys the privilege of being a PICISI.com sponsor for the term indicated. 

2)  Host CC - the Host CC sponsors is the cryptocurrency that all other CC donations for that campaign will be converted to.  There are essentially 3 ways the host CC is determined: a) direct selection of the campaign organizer, b) by auction, or c) the first to offer equiv of $1.  Most of the campaigns will likely be 'first sponsor to offer $1'.   

Acme Beauty products creates a campaign to expand their line, they have friends at Magi so they opt to select Magi to be their Host CC sponsor.   Each time someone donates CC of any kind it is immediately converted to Magi and reflected in the new Magi balance.   This enables any CC to be donated to the campaign, however all CCs for that campaign will be converted to Magi for the duration of the campaign.   During the campaign CC is never converted to fiat, and fiat is never converted to CC. 

3)  Max #1 p/camp - only one sponsor per campaign.

4)  Ad Perk - an advertising perk is a gift package that is provided by a PICISI sponsor or advertiser, that is offered to donors of the campaign via perk selection, unused portions of the perk are returned to the advertisers or sponsor after the conclusion of the campaign.

Acme Roofing company creates a CF campaign to expand their business, GSM coin wants to offer 80,000 GSM as an advertising perk.  PICISI.com may create a perk that allows a donor to receive 10K GSM for a $7 donation to the campaign.   Any portion of the 80K GSM remaining is returned to the sponsors / advertiser.

5) max #4 p/camp -  up to 4 different sponsors or advertisers could be part of the campaign with all different product/service types.

6) Donation Perk - donation perk and advertising perk are identical until the end of the campaign, for ad perks the remaining portion not going to campaign donors is sent back to the sponsor / advertisers, for donation perks the remaining portion not going to campaign donors is converted to the host CC then donated to the campaign organizer. 

7)  Campaign Text - a specific area of the campaign description is set aside for advertising / sponsorship, that area will be available for up to 5 sponsor / advertiser logos.

8)  Video  -  the first 5 seconds of the campaign video are set aside for the sponsor / advertiser message.  The format is: narrator says: "this video is brought to you by: Hyper [Show logo], [narrator says HYPER mantra]; then campaign video starts.   

Only one sponsor/advertiser per campaign.   

This video is also archived on youtube and other video hosting sites indefinitely at PICISI channels.  As such it will have life after the campaign is over.   



Question: Host CC says "$1.10" -- is that permanent, monthly, weekly, daily, CPM? 
Answer: That is the price per campaign.
