no need to buy, you can easily print it out...

Casascius idea was it to give as open source for the community

True. I can do precision cut and laminating though, but you're right, so can anyone else.

You don't know if OP is using Casascius tool.
Looking at the samples Casascius posted and looking at the sample posted by the OP I would say he isn't using it. Ofcourse I may be mistaken, but I'm sure OP will tell us lol
EDIT: he already did

So it means design is also open source? Then I will also start to print it out and sell worldwide...

I would like to commission the creation of some artwork to serve as a print-your-own Bitcoin banknote.  This is something I am willing to pay for (and I pay decently for things), but want to openly throw out what I'm looking for before actually negotiating a deal.

The design being public domain was one of the requirements Casascius gave if one wished to receive the reward.
It's public that the person who designed the note(not me, but a friend) received BTC13.46 for it.
You can find the PSD and SVG files to download here: http://ocantinhodadama.clinicadosom.com/2012/07/20/bitcoin-note-design-psd-file/
The license, as explained is a DWTFYW(Do What The Fuck You Want).

You can congratulate the designer on the download page above if you wish to. It wasn't me but a friend of mine. I just posted it as her English is not the best.
Leave her a comment and maybe a link to this thread. I'm sure she'll be very happy. :)

I don't intend to make a profit off these. I am making them for friends anyway and so it is not much more effort to sell them on for face value (+ shipping).

Go ahead, print and sell, if someone will pay for them, then great!  It's consistent with the DWTFYW license.

No. The sample Bitcoin note has the private key displayed for the whole world to see, anyone can rinse that account. Why did you even send BTC to it?!

I haven't made a program to take the coins from that address, but someone else could have - the private key is there for all to see. That's why it's called a SAMPLE bitcoin note. If you bought one off me I would probably not post a picture of it on the internet.... think about it.

https://mtgox.com ?
It's their sweep private key function. It was me who added that private key to my MtGox account. It auto sweeps any funds that land there to one of their addresses and credits it to my account.
Sorry about that ;D

Not sure if MtGox will let you add a private key to your account after it was already added to other account.
