These letters plus a strange attack that cause our log very huge is too much for us. We did not want that our users got problems, because all of you agree the ToS and the ToS said you were responsible. All these copyrights infragments were could lead to problems for users, so we decided to close the website with my friend, nobody will have problem. We are sorry and we are very sad about that, I loved code this website and see it grow in only one week we was near 1k of users without any press article. I expect nobody will be angry against us, I am still open for question. R.I.P. Bananas :( I'm the webmaster of Bananaseet.net, a website which is online since yesterday. It's a new seedbox with a brand new conception. It's a seedbox with a cloud aspect, we split all the downloads/seeds on different servers depending on their load instead of assignate a user to a server. It would help a lot of newbie non-tecky users to start seeding from private torrents that require you to keep your ratio positive. I would recommend it! (tho most of the seeder would miss all the controls and rss filters to run their torrents automatically). where would you like to get the minor\major issues reported ? Hello, We really want to keep a free offer and we gonna keep it, we just have to find a way to do it well we think. It's not our first project and we know we can. And we sell all accounts informations to third company we also sell passwords because they are stored in clear in our database :PNo I am laughing :D In fact the big question is, how a seedbox company can't have free offer ? The answer is most of them don't have any experience in programming or system administration. They install rtorrent on their server and sold space, there is no load balancing or what ever. So they can't offer free offer because they don't want to pay server for it. In BananaSeed we have anough experience to program our own system and load balance on our servers, we do not have "one server with 10 users", we have servers with "x upload max slot, x download max slot", all torrents are reparted on servers depending on their load at the time you add one. With this strategy we can keep a free service, but we will add premium offer of course. I clicked download. An URL was generated and opened, but that one was an empty page. On reload the torrent was correctly in the "torrents ended" page and showing something about actually zipping it. Time out is really not normal, can you tell me where are you located in order to see if it could be the reason of a bad peering ? We have experienced some downloads issues, we will try to reduce these bugs but their origins are a bit obscure with the information we receive. We are doing our best actually. Now that (I presume you?) it has been put into an ended state, the download link is there. We will look at this, but we have to code our own ftp server, we can't use traditionnal one such as vsftpd or proftpd.But downloading large files over HTTP is not the most efficient thing in the world... would be better if there was an (S)FTP type option. While I have the download link, I'm unable to download the torrent. Clicking the download link says "Contacting the server" in the browser, then it eventually times out to Cloudflare. Sometimes it will say zipping, but that never goes away. In all cases, it eventually times out and I am not able to download the torrent. Time out is really not normal, can you tell me where are you located in order to see if it could be the reason of a bad peering ? We have experienced some downloads issues, we will try to reduce these bugs but their origins are a bit obscure with the information we receive. We are doing our best actually. When the partition is full MySQL do not accept any query, so you could not log in. I putted website in maintance to find the reason of this full partition which was not normal at all. I finally found the reason, the apache2 logs was huge, too huge to be normal at all. apache2 logs had got 955G of weight, after 8 days of service it is fairly impossible, we are looking at the reason of that. bad news here, we got alot of email about copyright infragment these last days. These letters plus a strange attack that cause our log very huge is too much for us. We did not want that our users got problems, because all of you agree the ToS and the ToS said you were responsible. All these copyrights infragments were could lead to problems for users, so we decided to close the website with my friend, nobody will have problem. We are sorry and we are very sad about that, I loved code this website and see it grow in only one week we was near 1k of users without any press article. I expect nobody will be angry against us, I am still open for question. R.I.P. If your ISP is demanding concerning what kinds of torrents go through your network, you should have added some kind of torrent filter... :) And you can reopen with such filter. I would still use the service because it's always nice to have a lot of seeds in my favorite Linux distros... :)

Until the disk space is needed, several have been on the server for over a month but the minimun will be 1 week for sure. After 3.0 ratio, the torrent is stopped automatically I guess? Upon reaching 3.0 the torrent will stop seeding but the file will remain on the server waiting for you to download it if you haven't already, even of you have though it will stick around until disk space is needed again. If you return to re-download a completed torrent you will be charged again for the second download.
