To have an overview of most of the cloud mining sites i use: cmmonitor.com
They spend some coins into these sites and try it out. Most cloud mining sites are listed there, but not all.
I searched there for a site where i could buy with paypal and this was the only paying one and they had good reviews so i decided to spend into this site.

They ordered the new Antminer S5 on may 25 and they have to go to mining before 09 june or i get refunded my investment. So i expect the begin of mining at 06/06. (What a nice date btw)

I will post all TX ID's i get from their payments. Payments are made every day - when your account balance is over 0.005. Mine is not so i will get a withdraw every 2 days.

You will hear from me then.

99% ponzi/scam. They didn't even bother to setup a decent twitter profile.

I really do not understand people constantly pumping these ponzi referral scams.

We have 2-3 legit cloud services and these scammers continue scamming people. WHEN WILL YOU LEARN?

OP, why do you care about this "mining" site? Type Hashnest.com in your browser and don't even bother to look for those little scams or people will start to think it's you who is behind them, just pretending to be a customer and advertising here in such a way.

I know of and use hashnest.  What other services do you consider legit?  I know of many, but there are so many rumors flying around that I would appreciate the opinion of someone experienced.  Thanks!

NEVER. EVER. - this madness never ends. once greed is stronger the common sense, people easily falling to those schemes with some easy money dreams..

and because this is part of human nature, those kind of sites are created every day..:(

even if this is legit, their maintanance fee is monstrously high, in their example they are talking about 50% of your income as a fees...better join a more legit cloud with better fee that won't hurt so much your earning

only two, bit-x and hashnest, with the first you are not bonded with your contract, you can get out when you want by selling it, with the second there is the usual contract time, and the waiting for getting your principal back

Not at all.. At Hashnest you an sell your ghs whenever you want because there is trading between users integrated just like in Bit-x. Only if you choose to buy that PACMiC special contract you have to wait to return your money, otherwise you can freely exit whenever you want.

I figured ou the same too. But my btc balance is too low at the moment to invest. I only have 0.0034BTC. So this will be 2GHS providing 4000 satoshi per day without fees. That wouldn't cover the transaction fee. I may invest at a later time.

yeah i was talking about pacmic, i wasn't aware that there was another market with contract that can be sold later, their site isn't well informative about this

now i found it, it's under "hash" and not "contract" they have divided the two

Don't they have any policy about using paypal like eobot where if you buy with paypal you can't withdraw anything for the term during which you could do a chargeback?

No i bought with paypal and they are paying me since the first day. And if they go offline i will use the feature of paypal to get my money back. So that's a good point of security in the first 180 days after you bought the contract. And if they are scammers i think they would prevent you from doing that. But because they know their customers will be satisfied they don't have to do that. I don't really know if this is a good or bad point. Maybe they don't know what they are doing. So they are legit but take theirself to death because of their nescience.

Proof of payment doesn't prove that much.. just sayin.. all those bad guys are paying the first weeks or even months of their ponzi operations also.
Do they even have an official thread here? I can't find one.. this alone says a bit..

Yes that's true. But i paid via paypal. So i can refund my payment for 180 days. So they scam me after 170 days and i can refund my investment and i got all the BTC payments from them. If they scam on day 181 it's over... Who knows. I'm only reporting, that they are paying me. If not i will report that too. Then it's sad.

Also they have not sold all their ghs. So if the last GHs is sold the countdown of 180 days begins. I hope the unsold GHs reservoir will last 100 days. So i will get a guaranteed ROI.

Whats the point of this Payment spamming? You think people will think it's more legit because of that?  ;) I'm not so sure. There are other ways to prove your operations..

I included this website in one of my fraud risk assessments (http://"http://digiconomist.net/fraud-risk-assessments"). One red flag concerning identity/address relates to what already has been stated above. The owner has multiple websites registered on different names in different countries (same server/email address).

I'm going to update soon.

Todays payment will be delayed, too. They have serious problems with the blockchain API as stated here: https://www.gigahash.org/delay-in-payments

I hope they will pay again soon.

A double payout related to their difficulties with the Blockchain API:

And still gigahash is paying. Some day extremely delayed by up to 12 hours but delays are better, than not get paid. I'm at 22,56% roi atm. It's still a long way, but i'm looking forward to get the roi. Nothing really negative so far. Only the withdraws are taking some time.

No the roi is about 300 days. I'm at 23.19% ROI at the moment. But so far i had no issues with the company. And the 180 days from paypal are not over. So if they scam i can have my money back. All worked fine for me.

Yes i thought about that already. It's the risk. I take it. It's only $20 i can afford to lose them. And i already got 0.02 of 0.1 BTC back. So i don't lose the whole $20. It was the only company, that accepted paypal. So i gone with them.
If there are investments without a risk there aren't many. If there are some.

Since it's just 20$ at stake, i wouldn't sweat about it. But i still wouldn't advise any great investments to be placed in the cloud mining for the obvious reason;
It seams to me like those type of people that sell money making techniques instead of utilizing them, i mean, if it's to be profitable; why are they selling their mining power?
And there's that chance of the service going under. All things considered, it seams too risky to be a smart investment in the long run if you ask me, but good luck to you tho.

Yes i'm not too curious about that amount. I'm staying relaxed. If i make $0.01 profit i'm happy. And if i only get 50% roi it's sad but it's ok for me. I didn't expected the big rewards and wins.

yeah everything matches.

i did everything down to the last detail but they still haven't fulfilled my order yet. it's been 3 days now.

sent them mails no response yet. looks like those fuckers ripped me off.

worst thing there was no order # or invoice/ payment receipt from their end. just my paypal generated receipt.

they have not even logged the transaction in  my 'recent orders' those cheats.

If i were you, i would wait 7 days and then contact paypal to get my money back. Thats the advantage your paypal order has. So your money isn't lost.

You have 180 days to do that. After that your payment is "confirmed". So we were wondering, why they didn't have a 180 day lock to withdrawals after a purchase with paypal.

gigahash executed my order a few hours after my last post. mining's underway and received my first payout too. thank goodness!

@LsHallo that's a good point abt the 180 days. got me thinking abt it too.

seems like gigahash guys still got a lot of work left to do regarding transparency and some really basic stuff.

apparently it's a lifetime contract but there's no sign of any form of agreement or terms & conditions not even an acknowledgement email. not to mention the complete absence of any order # or invoice while purchasing hashes.

even now i don't feel any sense of security with them. though their intentions might be genuine, lack of such basic features will scare off people mistaking it for another east european ponzi scheme.

LoL for all i know that might even be true  :P

Nice to hear, it worked for you. Now we both are praying they don't run away with our money. My 180 day period ends on first of december or so. So hopefully they stay the rest of roi period. It would be the first time i roi with a cloudmining company. But before my gigahash account reaches it's roi my hashocean account get's it if all is working fine. So after losing a bit in scrypt.cc i'm back on my way.  :D

And yes as you said. They have a lack of transparency. They simply could add some miner pictures and a link, where you can monitor their hashing results and blocks they found and everything would be fine.

That has happened before, and is just a convenient excuse that will convince more suckers to try the next one. It would be very easy to prove that the price falling has made it not worth it to run the miners (although it would probably have to be much lower since users are paying for electricity) but no one has asked for proof of anything so far, why stop now.

yeah man that's what i was worried abt too. hence i restricted myself to 100GH/s with gigahash.

looks like i'll hv to diversify my portfolio. what do you think abt hashnest's pacmic v3 contracts? worth investing?

bitcoin prices are falling daily. if it sinks below $220 am fucked. then it wld be better to buy & hoard bitcoins for the future rather than invest in mining.

the rate at which bitcoin prices are falling on a daily basis is scary.
if it becomes unprofitable to mine what would happen to our gigahash contracts. would they be temporarily suspended or straightaway cancelled?

They get temporarily suspended for 10 days. After that they get terminated forever. I don't get the right formula to calculate the minimum bitcoin price to keep the contracts alive. Is someone able to do that?
I mixed it up with another cloud mining company...

Quote from their FAQ:
Quote
As long as the cloud is profitable (i.e. the payout covers the maintenance fee) you will continue to mine and be able to receive payouts. Theoretically, this could be 1-5 years, however practically it will depend on difficulty and market prices for the crypto currencies.

4 days from now: 424 satoshi/GHS | 60GHS Payout: 0.00025440

I hope this information is helpful to someone, who can calculate the minimum bitcoin price to keep the contracts alive!

The dividends are rising again. Let's hope the bitcoin price keeps rising, so we can expect huge rewards again. 0.000237BTC a day from 60GHS is a bit low... ROI is beyond 300 days...

I found a nice chart that shows the dividends earnings by time and i want to share it with you. So here it is:http://s30.postimg.org/yo2u9fh3l/ear.png

I think this is a good visualization of the fluctuation in earnings from their mining operation.

Here's an overview of my recent experience with them:
The rate seems to be stabilized to 0.000237BTC a day. I hope the bitcoin price is rising again soon.

Here are the latest payouts from my gigahash cloud mining contract:
Today: https://blockchain.info/tx/354649216c86c1c353c5a19b85529a0fa1feadfd989c6123a48e08cc27006f65
Yesterday: https://blockchain.info/tx/77fbdcb9a49f6bc08b1b67c504b261cfdb6f060c6f0247fdb1d59734c42b8a13
29.08.15: https://blockchain.info/tx/c1baa7283684b7dc099dd5efab1791883ba60b6ba70b27c0e3330ed271410dea
28.08.15: https://blockchain.info/tx/ad77f14e6f22711b08ea480dad66c9722ebeedb735ff3e66fe8c8ba8ab63b1f4

But the payment time stabilized too. The payments are around 14 o'clock as they promise on their website. I'm much happier with them now.

I don't hope that. But luckily the 180 days from paypal are not over so nothing is lost if they run away.
I give them 10 days to recover their website and buisness. No payment for 10 days means i'm taking back my money.

Be careful with cloud mining services...
There's currently about 50 or more cloud mining services and 99% of them turn out to be scams... Every day we see mining companies popping out with new scams.
So watch out for bloodsuckers and avoid shady cloud mining services

I know about that. That's why i finally created the thread. gigahash had sold over 1TH/s of mining power before i purchased. So i wanted some experiences with them. No one replied so i gone with them with a small amount ($20). I was in scrypt.cc and cloudminr.io too. They both scammed me. I'm aware of the risk. I first wanted to go with xscrypt.com too but i'm happy i didn't. But no guts, no glory!

And until December i can reverse my paypal payment to gigahash.org so it's less risky what i'm doing right now.

I just noticed Giga paid me as well yesterday.. Don't know why i missed it.

What i do miss is an updated list of current cloud mining services.
Most lists aren't even updated.

I like to check them out and decide if there is some that i could try..

There are only 2 legitimate cloud-mining services I could think of: Hashnest and Bit-X. If you guys happen to stumble upon a new 'cloud-mining' site, be skeptical about it, specially if the stats posted on their site is ludicrous if they are new in the game. There could have been some magic happening around there to fool you guys and take your money away from you. Instead of earning, you might end up losing all the money you've invested.

Also, one more thing on spotting fake cloud-mining services: if they cannot provide a picture of their equipment, then most likely that so-called 'cloud-mining' service is a ponzi scheme/scam in the making.

*Edited some minor mistakes.

Also genesis mining is now providing live streams from their mining facilitys. They are proven too, i think.

Edit: Where are the pictures of the bit-x mining operation?

Genesis-Mining is an established company in the world of bitcoin, same with Hashnest and Bit-x. I couldn't find any pictures of Bit-x cloud mining equipment but I'm pretty sure that they are a legitimate company working on a legitimate license. https://bit-x.com/pages/about

I  also consider Bit-X as legit but their proof could be more...

Quick status update after some time:

I bought some GHASH 3 a few days ago just for fun. I'm not longer looking forward to get my roi. S5's will be unprofitable before that. (Currently my roi is 444 days) So it's the 22.08.2016... Thats after the halving and i think the S5 is going to be unprofitable way before the halving.
Invested 0.1349 and got out 0.032854 as of today.

Here's the earnings graph... Not looking forwad to get my roi:
https://i.imgur.com/47ojt6j.png
(The red dot indicates, where i bought the GHASH3)

So i consult to not invest into S5 anymore. Maybe S7 aka GHASH3 is profitable and is going to roi some day.

I'm a bit confused right now... Today i got 2 times the share if my GHASH3... So i received over 0.0004 in total instead of 0.0003. Here is a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/8gSqCZj.jpg

Is someone able to explain me what's going on there? I'm a bit confused if they scam or not.

The site is back online so a bit confidence is back. I hope it will normalize the payouts soon to not get insolvent.

Well it's been 6 months on GigaHash and seems to be doing OK till now. Payouts are comparable to Genesis Mining.

Of course there are days when the site's offline and other days when they skip payment but they do certainly make up for it in the next couple of days with typical East European efficiency  ;)

I have now upped my hashrate to 1TH/s which represents an investment of ~ US$ 370 (paid in INR almost 1/2 of my monthly salary  :'().

On paper it's a lifetime contract but let's see where they are 6 months later.

Till then fingers crossed and Lord save the Bulgarians!

My earnings went down quite a low with all those difficulty increases. From about 0.00037 to 0.00002 per day. My roi is now over 700 days. I don't think this is going to hit roi in any time. The difficulty is going to increase too much during that.

Hello members!
Has anyone of you experience with GigaHash.org? I plan to pre-order some of their new GHs but i'm not sure.
If you invested please tell me your experience with profitability and support.

If you are going to use my referral link we may have a deal, that you get a percentage of my referral earnings. Simply pm me.

Yes, i do.

For me it is absolute SCAM.

Product    Algo            Quantity    Maintenance fee    Last Dividend    Total Payout    Orders
SHASH2    SCRYPT    2MH/s    0.0125$            0.00003311    0.00000000

I bought this on
Tr #            Date/Time                    Type            Qty      Price         Product    Amount            Status
1238159    2016-11-06 21:35:18    Buy            2      0.02000000    SHASH2    0.04000000    Completed

Since Maintenance fee higher than   Last Dividend you dont get nothing.
What for a joke.
I wrote them about it but there was
no answer or reply to it at all.
Be careful.
Hope it will help
Forewarned is forearmed :D
