Title: Overview of Bitcointalk - COMPLETE AVATAR Campaigns [15-May-2017]
Post by: azguard on June 11, 2015, 09:28:41 AM

Overview of Bitcointalk AVATAR Campaigns

After some additional research and some thinking i have decided to place only AVATAR CAMPAIGNS THAT ARE PAYING BONUS. Meaning i will place campaign that are paying bonus every 2 or 4 round, get additinal pay in percentage or get additional pay for wering it. Lot of campaign are must to wear or mandatory with no pay at all in both cases. So after this I will put only AVATAR campaigns that are giving something from above mentioned.

You are welcome to do the TIPS:

Good list you have there. I hope you will continue to update this thread. Noticed a error.

Currently active campaigns

CloudTrhink.IO
(Thread (http://"https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1036780.0"))
Payment period: weekly
Full M: 40 / week
SR: 30 / week
Hero: 20 / week
Legendary: none

It should be CloudThink.IO instead of CloudTrhink.IO.

Personal option: I think there is going to be some flame about CloudThink.io in this thread later on.. :/.

You can also add above one. Actually, its a small one and full currently but you can include this one also to let others see this. It was open to 200+ activity accounts and there was no min. post requirement. And payment was constant like 0.012 BTC/month.

Btw, good thread and thanks. It was neeeded.

It is too bad that most of these sites are scams. There really are not any good options for selling your avatar that are publicly available. There are a few private deals though.

Thanks for starting an Avatar Campaign overview thread, azguard - I thought about doing something like this myself, but decided I was too lazy for that. :D

By the way, how about adding information on whether or not escrow is being used in these campaigns? Also, are you planning on adding any information on mixed campaigns, that ask you to use their avatar in addition to their signature - like LuckyBit, for example? The Signature Campaign overview thread might be a more appropriate place for this, but as it isn't currently included there, I thought you might want to consider at least including a small indication for these.

I think this is the link for the Bit-X avatar campaign, azguard (I don't think a more recent one has been started): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1024258 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1024258) - the rates aren't the same for everyone however; they are to be negotiated with marcotheminer.

Also, Squallcoin increased its monthly payment to 0.012 btc, back in May:

upped a touch to 0.012.

I will bump every few days in case anyone want's to help out.

Best.

I agree, i though about creating one also, but there was just a small amount of offers so i always decided not to, but who knows, maybe there's more to it and it gets more offers.
I would just like to advise OP to change layout for post count needed, because it could make some confusion the way it is now. (some people might think that it's upto 0.20 for a week)

Example :0.05 - 20 pw , maybe make it like this or similar:0.05 BTC (20 min.posts)

cheers

You should say what what campaigns have open slots and what are closed for new participants.

For example, da dice is full

added now to table list

Finally, list of bitcointalk avatar :)

I think you should remove newbie, jr. member & member because they can't put avatar (expect you are going to add list about personal campaign)
You also could add more infirmation, like DaDice avatar campaign is full & they give bonus to 10 lucky member very month

remove agree on this to remove cuz they can put it

Sorry but I dont seem to get what you are asking for . Are you asking for their payrate for solely avatar? If this is it then it is none information about this because their avatar campaigns run along with their signature campaign , the same condition with luckybit and fortunejack.

If you are asking for their campaign payrate then here it is

For Full Member: 0.0005 BTC per post (Limited up to 3 positions)
For Senior Member: 0.0008 BTC per post (Limited up to 3 positions)
For Hero Member: 0.001 BTC per post (Limited up to 3 positions)

Terms:

Min is 15 post per week
Max is 50 posts per week

Posts must have over 64 symbols in length to get paid.

Any thread that is in the gambling section, will get 5% extra bonus per post.

They seem to be accepting only 4 (out of 10) participants this week - something about a funding shortage, apparently. :) For the following weeks however, the plan seems to be to accept the full 10 members they mention in the thread. So, if you want to go through the trouble of editing the OP, I would say the campaign is closed, for now; but it should reopen soon for 6 more members, so you might as well leave it as it is, I think.

For reference:

Something came up guys. We will be paying Seuntjie to place a bot in the site, so our funds are currently out for the week.

We accepted all four of them, sorry for the misinformation.

Only four will be accepted this week.

It seams that they are not paying and that the campaign is closed. The user in charge wasn't online since June 30, and there's a bunch of people that
are not paid. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1084422.220

It's a shame for those involved but there has been so much talk about them being a scam and so much pressure against them that maybe this is the time they show their true colours who knows, it did seem like a good campaign but I did not join as I did not have too much confidence in them paying out, I don't think he escrewed the funds which was a stopping point for me.

Since Cloudthink seems to be out of the picture now are there any other decent avatar campaigns? I looked earlier and the best open one I found was just .01 a week, which isn't really that signficant of an amount.

Hi,

This is an official announcement.  8)

Da Dice has been brutally attacked by some logically nutty reputed members from here (these guys virtually attack everything they "think" suspicious. Word is that they store their cents buried in chests underground and worse, esp. after Greece. Can't trust these banks, you see?) and some ambitious members and some who hate everything related to Da Dice for some yet unidentified reason. The management is tired of all this, and has decided to withdraw from the forum and in effect all campaigns have been closed.

You will be paid for posts till now, and you are free to remove our signatures and avatars. (If escrow balance falls short, they will be refilled by Steve, our undisputedly awesome Da Dice admin.)

Cheers and sorry :(

Your data on the FortuneJack campaign  is for their signature campaign - NOT the avatar campaign. You should remove this.

Even though i will not remove the avatar for undefined time.

Hi, just want to report that coinut did not pay their avatar campaign. I'am one of several member who didn't get paid after the period end (one month).

Here is some proof from my post and the other member https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1175696.msg12792364#msg12792364.

You can mark coinut as payment not yet confirmed or remove coinut avatar campaign from your list.

Please remove Fortune Jack's avatar campaign info OR put the correct link and details to their avatar campaign. The details you provide are for Fortune Jack's signature campaign - very different. They don't mention ANYTHING about an avatar campaign.

Thanks.

Not sure why bitcoin.ag is listed as AVATAR here. You CAN'T run their avatar unless you are part of their signature campaign. Kinda moot imho.

(I PM'd the OP of bitcoin.ag.....what I was told via PM today)

On to the Avatar list here in general:

Still have not found an avatar campaign that works due to the following

1) gambling site ...don't want me because I'm in the USA flags on sign up come signup.

2) if such does not come up on a gambling site on sign up or other issues ..me being in usa (not sure if I'd jump anyway ...but just fyi for you guys here) ..they require that you post 5 to 15 or some such mandatory amount of posts per week in the GAMBLING section..this is NOT bitcoin.ag above I'm just talking gambling Avatar campaigns in general...FYI.

needless to say I long for the old days of AVATAR campaigns that were not so rigidly GAMBLING and specific to posting so much in specific areas....so kinda annoyed and out of the club.

not slamming anyone just saying :)

Overview of Bitcointalk AVATAR Campaigns

After some research i have gather remaining AVATAR camp here on forum that allow to be combined with some other signature campaign here
Also Avatar campaigns that are not listed are aether CLOSED or are only for participant in signature campaign bound with avatar like some

Well thanks! We appreciate your efforts! The above 'cut down' to the 2 left must have hurt, but I agree with your reasoning. If they are not allowed as an Avatar
on other campaigns...then the usefulness of your list is in doubt.

Just a note on my on situation here. Being in the USA and gambling is 'illegal' in this manner, neither site wants me it seems (with cautionary tags or my ISP in the states
little flags pop up ..asking if this is legal in my 'jurisdiction'....fun stuff like that).

I'm also not a big fan of 'mandatory postings in gambling section of 5 posts or more to get paid as a 'side' condition even if I could get into them.

So anyway. Still out. But again I and others appreciate your efforts on this for us all, as daunting as it may be and meager in its results.

If nothing else it 'slows' my hopeless quest of digging up something that works as an Avatar campaign. (Likely I'm unicorn hunting .....but still) :)

Again thanks for your time on this. :)

Watching this topic from time to time (well done OP) and i see that the avatar compagn isn't making any success here..

Anyway since not all the compagn have an avatar + signature compaign combined together, i think making a separate line between the two isn't a bad idea.

Exp:
avatar compagns separated from the sig one
dustdice (details)....
Etc...
————————————
Combined avatar + sig compagns (you must be in the sig + bonus for wearing avatar) [no need to list it if it is not paying an additional reward for wearing avatar ; i believe i saw at least one doing this, will edit this if I remember it]
Betcoin.ag (details)...
Etc...

That would be a good solution. Nowhere else is information that signature campaign also has an avatar campaign. Sometimes it is a good addition to earnings. I think this place is the most appropriate to locate such information. I think that the separation line from other avatar camp would be enough.

Hi,
Magicaldice needs to be moved from avatars only compagns to avatar+signature
compaigns:

leave the campaign for meanwhile and still wear the avatar until i got paid this week

thank you :D :D :D

Im sorry but we dont offer avatar only payments and you have just basically removed yourself from avatar pay this next period. You must be enrolled in sig campaign to get paid. Hope you understand

Didn't get a confirmation from yahoo but as mexxer said this is obvious.

E-Coin offers an avatar for users who want to wear it. It's offered because they themselves asked for it during the last campaign.
But it is not mandatory for anyone to wear it.

It means that the participants will not be paid if they wear the avatar during the signature campaign period, then it's not needed to list it here.

Probably you made a typo there ivan, but participants are paid even if they don't use the avatar, as Lutpin said(who is co-managing the camp.) it optional. But it does help while getting the monthly bonus, those who have it will be considered for a higher spot in the "Best poster" list, and possibly be reserved a spot in the next campaign..

It means that the participants will not be paid if they wear the avatar during the signature campaign period, then it's not needed to list it here.
Probably you made a typo there ivan, but participants are paid even if they don't use the avatar, as Lutpin said(who is co-managing the camp.) it optional. But it does help while getting the monthly bonus, those who have it will be considered for a higher spot in the "Best poster" list, and possibly be reserved a spot in the next campaign..

mistyping and misunderstanding i meant that the participants will not get additional payment for the avatar like 0.01 or 0.02 like other campaigns. Azguard I think it's not needed as it is optional and currently full.

Or/another option: you could simply mention the advantage of wearing the avatar at the end like this:
E-coin **
-------------------
''Compaign name'' - description...
E-coin: ''advantages (bolded text above)''.

I think this thread isn't important anymore as all the avatars are to be worn along with signatures. :-\ There's no such campaign left which allows wearing a stand-alone avatar.

Thus, I suggest OP to lock this thread until some campaign emerges, serving the thread's purpose.

Yep. I need to wear their sig to get avatar payments. That's not the point of this thread.

But candlecoin seems like a genuine avatar campaign, although it pays only once AFAIK and pays in candlecoins.

every participant of avatar campaign will get 20k CD coin and the current price of CD coin is 2 satoshi and it mean if in satoshis every participant will get only 40k satoshis it might be very low payment but i think it's better than nothing

(Swagbucks) OP hasn't updated the list of participants since the 7th, a bit of a worry. Moreover, he hasn't posted since the 8th..... I don't think this campaign is going well. He's back, all is fine.

And there are a few payout disputes in the candlecoin campaign from some users.

That's too bad.
I've been looking for a stable avatar only campaign for ages now.
it seems that either the good ones are taken or some unstable altcoins.

If i were OP i would not include signature campaign rate because they change to often, but it is listed both signature and avatar campaign because you have to be enrolled in both to participate there. Ok.

Should this campaign be added ?
They are paying using altcoins and i think this list made just for bitcoin only
I've seen many altcoins avatar campaign that don't get added into the list

Why not? AFAIK there were some altcoin avatar campaign that pays not in bitcoin(removed from the list already becauce not paying/close/problem) example : Zombiecoin, Bucks

So, it is not only avatar campaign that pays bitcoin only but this thread is to inform all available avatar campaigns.

I would watch out and beware as long as there no solvency proof. If there will be another scam it will be pretty hilarious.
History repeating itself

I have asked the SpectroCoin manager if it is mandatory to wear the avatar to be enrolled in the signature campaign and he told me that it isn't mandatory, so I think the OP should be edit that it is not a must.

The Rollin.io campaign doesn't require all Senior, Hero, and Legendary members to wear the Rollin avatar when participating in the Rollin signature campaign. Wearing the avatar is completely optional for all participants. If you could update the OP when you have a few moments to reflect that, I would appreciate it.

The information on crypto-games.net is terribly outdated ::)
We pay fixed/weekly and avatar/personal text are optional, with a tied bonus payment.

that depends from sig camps

some have that you can use different avatar and some are strict to using sig+avatar from camp

That's depends on each signature campaign's rules, every campaign has their own rule. Some prohibit you from using the other products that are on the same field as them (for example you're wearing a gambling signature and they prohibit you from using the avatar of another gambling site but they're ok with the ava of altcoin) while other one stressed on wearing their avatar alongside with their signature.

I saw you wearing yobit's. AFAIK, yobit allow you to use avatar from other provider, so you're ok with that. But you have to be on full membwr rank before you can wear any ava.

Its quite a trend these days that ava campaigns turned out not paying. I think the dev has left the project or at least something happened to him because he hadn't been active for quite some time and all the questions on his thread are not answered.
I'm enrolling to PayPeer as they have the newest ava campaign. Hopefully it won't ends up like the other coins.

Anyone knows what happenws with PayPeer? Their ava thread is just removed, it seems.

Hmm, ok. I saw some people on your Avatar campaign saying that they weren't paid for the last week. I'm not sure if these campaigns really worth. I think it's better to wait until more of them be created. More options to choose.

One that's still paying (and I believe, the payments are on time too) is squall coin. They rarely have a free slots and the applicants are selected strictly before joining, but I think its all worth the effort because once (and if) you're accepted to join the campaign, their payment are steady and also come in BTC.

edit: turns out, next week would be their last period

If you use yobit, then the chance of joining this ava campaign would be almost nonexistent as it is also require you to use personal message space just as yobit do (though I see that some people who joining yobit didn't wear the personal message as they should have to).

Yap you cant join this along with yobit signature campaign, the rate is too low imo. 5KR is only worth as 25k-30k satohsi (rate when I write this post). Of course it is possible that the rate will increase in the future but I think the rate is not attractive enough for avatar + personal message text.

So bad that there were some altcoin avatar campaigns did not pay their participants this year. They wanted to advertise their coin but they failed to pay the members.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned jetwin.ps's avatar bonus for their campaign.
Notaek (Campaign Manager)'s post:

AVATAR BONUS

Wear any one of our exclusive Jetwin.ps avatars (http://imgur.com/a/fy8rn) and receive a bonus of 0.02 BTC (irrespective of ranks) alongwith your signature payout.

The avatar should be worn for 30 days, and you should also be an active participant of our signature campaign during the period to receive the bonus.

Removal of it or getting disqualified from the signature campaign within the stipulated period will not be paid.

I think it is not necessary to make tell us how many free spots are in your campaign because OP does not maintain this thread and write how many spots are left for each campaign, it takes time and it does not worth, once it is a new campaign it's good to be listed, and once it is full it's good to mention in OP, - my 2cents.

Why not? It means that he is a good campaign manager, most campaign did not do it so it there were many people asking for free spots. So with this information, there will be no same questions by some members about free spots.

Where is the field "Free slots"?, to put this field is easy but to maintain it is very hard because the spots here in forum are taken very fast, even in signature or avatar campaign the spots are filled fast and it's hard to check every campaign and update here the OP.

RedCoinCrow is in serious issue right now, so is their avatar campaign. people should be warned about it, maybe mark it with a red mark like in overview of signature campaign thread, or remove it.

If they are having issue paying the participants then if i were the OP of this thread then i would remove it, let's wait for azguard.

I think it is better to give red mark than remove it, while participants are waiting for updates from RedCoinCrow for few days more. Then if there is no updates, it can be removed.

Cloak? They just finished their fifth payment.

Its a relatively new campaign. The manager is SFR10, though, he is quite strict on accepting new members.

I prefer being paid in BTC, anything else significantly increases your risk. You can post the entire week for a fixed price in altcoins just to find out that particular altocoin s been big time dumped.

Izagani the manager of bitvest is inactive and i dont know if their campaign is accepting  new participants since they are not replaying on their campaign thread and also their payment for their current participants is always late thats why i dont really bother to post somr enrollment their, its kinda annoying if we enroll and wait for nothing.

Maybe try to find another campaign mate  but i think mostly of good campaigns now are full, but its better to stay in your sig since other campaigns are paying low.

it take some extra more patient with that campaign mate its took many days or weeks sometimes before you can see your name from their document, but if accepted another patient is needed to be added because payment also delayed but its part of it mate, better yet look for another open campaign and take your chance. OP thanks for this thread hoping and waiting for another update. good luck.

You have to be on Full Member rank in order to wear an avatar (and thus, joining avatar campaign). Rank member to newbie are unable to wear any avatar, that is why avatsr campaign are all for FM and above

Seems it is not announced here yet, but cloak is re-opening their campaign which is avatar and signature (separable) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1434106.msg16594585#msg16594585. I wonder why, though, if I'm not mistaken they want to rebrand themselves to coinone or something like that, but it seems they cancel that plan and choose to continue their campaign instead, strange.

The developer of MAKE is not online from 3 November I think he did not get success in his project and leave this community and not paying to anyone for their promotion. In that condition it is useless to consider that campaigns as legal. They just scammed people.

Indeed it will end in a few hours, but I think it is better to remark it with "ended" or "closed" first then it can be removed after all participants get their payments.  Just for the record.

Mass campaign is over and also not paying until now. Maybe you want to either remove it or mark it with something to tell people there are problems with their campaign. Too bad because I initially trusted this campaign simply because it was announced by a Hero Member. Guess he only acted as someone who announce and not managing the campaign.

Potluck should be removed and few others thread are inactive for a long time.

Of course because you're just a newbie rank.

Only full member member and above can wear avatar with 120 activity.

You have to stay active in this forum before you turn to full member, I guess it will take two-three months so it takes time.

This thread is super out dated.
Hasn't been updated in over a year.

Mods, if you see this delete the thread as it is only wasting space!

Srsly? Did you see Azguard's post like... 4 posts above you? As in the one that's still the same page as your post? The one dated May 15th? Or the one above it, the March 28th one? That's the last time he updating, and last time I check, from May to August is just 3 mos, barely over a year.

Dont have time to update this tread not like I used to so if some one want to create another topic fine by me.

All bounties that are here in last period are ICOs this is something that i dont want to put in this havent see any coin that is not ICO for long time. Tried to add them put they pop up every day 5 of them that is to much to add and to calculate all the time.

All bounties are here in new tread and they are called bounties for a reason (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0), and when some coin that is not ICO is around i will update it.

It will take few minutes to update but what i don't understand is why you wear the BETCOIN.AG avatar, are you sure they will pay you since they changed the terms of their campaign? You need to join the campaign in order to get paid which is impossible for now..
