Title: Faucets and Google Adsense ?
Post by: superiorus on July 02, 2015, 12:16:54 PM
Hello

There are many faucets.
Also many of them use Google Adsense as main revenue stream.
From what I know Adsense allow only 3 ad units per page.
I have seen many faucets who use more than 3 ad units in the same page.
One of the examples (a good faucet) : moonbit.co.in
They have 4 units on the same page (claim page)  - 4 banners to be exactly.
They don't know about this rule, they ignore it, or they have special agreement with Google Adsense?

Exactly what I thought too. Did a quick check and here's what they say:

Quote
In addition to three AdSense for content ad units, publishers may also place up to three link units and two search boxes on each page.

Here (https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/48182?hl=en) for more info. I am also wondering what if you place the same code on your site twice, would it count double? :P Well I guess it's best to contact them to be sure rather than trying out that might result in getting banned.

Three ad units is never enough for some people... that's why they placed four instead of three ad units. :P
Seriously, you asked at the wrong place.

Your answer can be easily be found on Google or you can simply contact support for better answer about this.

Quoted directly from their ad placement policies:
Quote from: Ads on the same page or site as another publisher
If a site is in compliance with our program policies and the company or owner of the site has given you permission to display ads on their site, you may place your ad code on the same page as the other publisher's ad code. You will, however, need to contact your web hosting company or the owner of the site to obtain permission to display ads on their site. Additionally, you will only be credited for clicks and impressions on the ad units associated with your account.

Keep in mind that a maximum of three ad units, three link units, and two search boxes may be placed on one page. In addition, note that every publisher is responsible for the content of a site on which their ad code is placed. If a site is found in violation of our policies, we will notify any publisher(s) whose ad code is on the site.

Good luck. :)

So what you say is that they have more than 3 banners , because they use more than 1 adsense account.

Yes, but for me, is dangerous add more of 3 banner of the same ads site. Personally, i don't click a banner if the site have more of 3 same

Google will not support any direct paid visitor to the site. I'm not sure how they can survive but surely one day their account will be permanently banned for direct paid site visitors.

if google will banned for direct paid site visitors, why moonbit still not get banned until now. maybe moonbit just use 3 ad units per page

Naaaaaah, you all have wrong info about moonbit.co.in guys! They are "premium" publishers, so they can have up to 4 ad units.
Search google for "premium google adsense" for more info :)

If you ask specifically to approve faucets sites for google advertisements then 90% chances they will not approve your site. You can get approval for some other blogs and then try to put advertisements on faucet sites. However if they detect more chances of banning your adsense account.

first google will look your faucet web .. than maybe your other ads, make sure you don’t allow or place any other third party banner ad code on your website. Google (employees) will strictly look into your website manually and they hate seeing some third party ads installed in your website, Website Design and User Experience , and last is Robots.txt & alexa rank

Remove every ad you have now and add some little information about Bitcoin. Also make sure your website doesn't look like a spam so no black background etc.. ( Do this only if you want to be 100% sure you will get accepted, they have no reason to deny website like this :) )

Are you sure they will accept all faucet sites? I do not think so because they also look for what is the source of traffic your site is getting and many other factors. So it it better to create a some good blogs from blogger .com and get approve your adsense account and then try.

I have a doubt, with adsense you see the banner more pertinence with the site. In a faucet site, you see banner to other faucet?

Exactly.

Onw day they will be banned. Google is very hard with their rules.

I'm having a lot of work to keep my faucet profitable with Adsense without breaking the Google rules.

Take a look: http://bitcoin-catcher.com/faucet

- Just 3 ads.
- Not inducing misleading clicks (their 6 ANTI-BOT links).
- Not making unnatural tricks to get attention to the ads.
- Not asking help or for users to click on ads.
- Not putting the ad in the interaction boxes (Claim, Bitcoin Address, Share Box).

I hope I will not be banned.

Guy...

Are you talking about my faucet? I think you are confusing with other one.

My faucet has no popups with adsense.

Taka a look again, please: http://bitcoin-catcher.com/faucet

Unless you are using TOR navigator. In this case you are redirected to other faucet (not mine). My faucet doesn't alow TOR navigator.

I want to use another Adsense account, I'm scared because I earn with my faucet, and I feel I can be banned  :-[ Is unconfortable

Can I create an account for someone who lives in my house and put his ads in my faucet, and avoid using my actual Adsense until I get paid?

Is that posible? Change Adsense account to earn, family, same direction

I just adjusted my ads to the Google Adsense Policies. My faucet don't break any rule. I guess I won't lose my account.

i am not sure for only 3 ads. i think that is limit 5 ads per page. when i try, i can put max. 5 ads if make more, just not show on page
Last time when i reading adsense TOS, limit is ben 5 ads + link ads(i don't remember how much link ads can be set)
Maybe you have to do with adsense account, older and veryfied account can more than beginners account

You are already violating some of those points you listed, because your site is intended for the sole purpose of boosting up ad impressions&revenue (you're directly paying people to visit the site).
I know because i've tried to submit my faucet to Google but they rejected it.

But google will never catch you so don't worry...
however i wonder how you got approved, i think you used the Adsense code from another site (maybe your blog). Nice trick :)

No. It is not cheat.

Google allow to do this move. In the Adsense Page look for the account settings. Into this you can input and list all the sites that owns to you.

Then you should complete a task proposed by Google to proof that the sites owns to you.

After finishing this, Google allows you to put adsense ads in others domains different from the first aproved site.

After I installed a faucetbx faucet...

I have a rather old blog with adsense ads in addition to 5 mellow ads ads, and one from a-ads.

No banning until now. I guess adsense passes by a little if site is good and with high traffic. However there is a risk of getting banned of course.

For how long do you have your adsense running on a faucet?
