As a way of rewarding miners for using the iSpace Mining Pools we have created BeezerCoin which will be given out to anyone who mines on any of our pools regardless of algo.

We will be paying out 100 beez per hour, per algo based on the number of shares submitted by each user over the previous 60 minutes.

What value does this coin bring to the crypto space, that's not already offered by the many coins out there?

How about adding some more merge coins, that aren't total suck? Maybe something besides SysCoin on the Scrypt pools. That's a nice way to reward your miners.

The large pre-mine was necessary in order to generate coins to pay rewards to miners.

Merge mined coins tend to be pretty worthless and it is hoped that the slower, controlled release of BEEZ will bring just a little better profit to miners.

We'll look to increase payouts once BEEZ is a little more established.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what you guys do and I love the pools, been making great use of the BTB pool for a while now. Just not sure about this.

I've been mining on your pool now for about 24 hours. In that time i managed to mine about 430 BEEZ with about 1.2Gh scrypt.

Everything about this coin is good with the exception of the amount. 50 million is too much. Your handing out 100/hour thats 2400/day. At that rate it will take 22 1/2 years to hand out the 20 mil. premine. I'm assuming the other 30 million coins will be generated with pos rewards right?

Easiest way to fix this is hand out 100 coins every 10 minutes, that reduces the distribution time to 4 1/2 years. Maybe increase the amount as well to get it down to 1 or 2 years... just thinking out loud here.

We are planning to increase the payouts as well as paying top miners bonuses but we just want to get the network running smoothly, block explorer setup, exchange listings sorted, etc, before doing so.

Please remember to use "gen=1" or "setgenerate true" to keep the network moving while your BEEZ wallet is open!

Chain seems to be stuck on block 1396. It doesn't look like a case of rental hash diffjacking as the difficulty looks in line with the current nethash (or at least the nethash at the time block 1396 was found).

Dev should take a look!

I added the nodes and after 2 hours I still don't have any connections and the wallet won't sync. Also sent a test Tx from your pool to YoBit a couple hours ago and still haven't seen it show.

Yeah would at least be nice to have an update from the Dev since the blockchain's been stuck for over 24h. Wallet useless, can't even send from iSpace to YoBit.

Given that this is a pure POS coin how exactly have you been "mining" it? It's given out for mining the other pools on iSpace. It'd be nice for you to not create additional issues by posting bullshit here; I'd rather focus on trying to help the dev with the wallet and move the blockchain along. Please explain how you've wasted money running your miners for 2 days on a pure POS coin that's given away.

What happened to you is called being on a fork. Dev didn't take anything from you. This happens sometimes when mining new coins, the trick is identifying it early.

So what's going on with the coins I withdrew from iSpace to YoBit? I can't see any Tx info on iSpace to help troubleshoot...

Also mine is stuck on block 1396 as well, after getting 1.0.0.5 and deleting the folder contents as indicated.

Block explorer seems stuck at 1396 too. I was running great on 1.0.0.3. Now stuck.

When I do this the resync gets stuck at block 1396. That dreaded block ..

Now I am at block 1490 and "synched". All my stake mined coins are not counted and balance is about 1000 coins short compared to transaction history.

Seemed like things were working and my Tx finally arrived at YoBit after 4 days of waiting. Woke up, it's all f00ked again. Would love to see if this can actually stake...

This morning I tried to sync again, I'm stuck on block 1761 now for a few hours. 6 Active connections to the network as well. Go figure..

I'd be more patient if we had semi-regular communication from the Dev. I understand coin launches can take some time to work out the kinks; I'd feel like my efforts running this wallet and trying to help move things along were less futile if we knew WTF was going on. I get that OP is busy but it literally takes seconds to post here and update your coin community.

At this point I'm done being patient. 98% of the time I've run the wallet it's done fuck all but eat CPU cycles. Maybe if the creator can grace us with some sort of information I'll reconsider but I'm done with this for now.

I don't care if the Dev takes 3 months.  Maybe the get rich quick p&d mindset will fade on to another coin by then.

It's not about P&D for me. I'm actually more interested in coins with some long term viability and something tied to a known mining pool has more street cred than some random X13 crapcoin, IMO.

The problem here is that he's wasting everyone's time and he can't be bothered to drop a few lines here to let us know what's going on and if/why we should keep running these wallets/nodes, etc. I've long since given up on trying to catch new coin P&Ds and get rich... I also give up pretty quick when I see a 40% premine and a disturbing lack of attention from the dev post-launch.

Yes. You can do a 'getblockhash [block number]' and it will give you the hash for that block. If others match the hash then you are all on the same chain.

CoinWarz Profitibility Pool
This pool monitors the CoinWarz website every 3 minutes and looks to switch to the most profitable pool at any given time providing the current exchange rate exceeds 0.0000001 BTC. SHA256 pools exclude Bitcoin and PeerCoin.

Lowest Difficulty Pool
This pool monitors the difficulty settings of our coins and always mines the pool with the lowest value. Difficulty values are checked at 15 minute intervals.

Rotation Pool
This pool simply rotates through all of our available pools on an hourly basis

Newest Pool
This pool mines our latest SHA256 coin pools, rotating every 2 hours. These are currently Universal Currency, Unbreakable, Vcoin and GamerHolicCoin.

The "Five" Pool
This pool rotates on an 2-hourly basis through 5 coins chosen by us. Our current choices are Acoin, Digibyte, HamRadioCoin, TerraCoin and Unbreakable.

They have multipools and pools for pretty much every coin you can think of, and you can turn on an auto-exchange feature for most of the coins, I believe the fee is 2.5%. BeezerCoin or not, iSpace has some great mining pools and features.

The wallet doesn't seem to display staking info, at least in the qt gui. I encrypted then unlocked the wallet and since then staking seems to have stopped; I cannot be sure if it's the wallet locking/encryption or that the diff has gone up and I'm simply not staking as much as I was yesterday...

I have not been staking since upgrading to 1.0.0.5. Not sure why - I did not do what you did.

I'm running 2 wallets on different machines and trying to see what I can determine. one is a full node on a PowerEdge to try to help things along and yes I opened the port on my router ;)

I was getting stakes every couple hours right up to the point I re-did the wallet... we'll see if that means anything or not. Unfortunately the other wallet only has a few Beez so I might grab some on YoBit to see if I can get a stake on an unencrypted wallet. I don't think 1.0.0.5 is the issue cause I got many, many stakes using that version.

I've restarted things several times. Seems to be hit or miss whether things will sync or not, same for staking. It finally looks caught up again, we'll see...

a) one can earn this coin by mining anything at iSpace.co.uk (not a bad pool, was one of my favorites some time ago);
b) one can sell those earned coins at Yobit;

Not trolling, just curious. Is there any plans or whatever which is supposed to give it a value?

I'm kinda still trying to figure that out too. Fortunately as of late I've been using iSpace to run some experiments with various alts so I figured I'd mess with the wallet/coin a bit while doing so. That being said, it seems like not even the dev cares about this coin or has a plan for it, it's been days since he's updated this thread.

Still earning and accumulating in the wallet - but have note staked since I updated to 1.0.0.5 and all the coins I staked previously are not there.

Is there a config setting that allows staking? (yes, the wallet is not locked)

Please upgrade your wallets to v1.0.1 which has the staking fix in.

I've upgraded my wallet but it seems to been stuck so I deleted the block chain to let it redownload but it gets stuck on block 2

We have finally bitten the bullet and created a new blockchain v2 for BeezerCoin as the initial one has become a bit of a mess after tinkering with the source code.

The v2 code has now been finalised and posted to GitHub.

Please download the new v2.0.0.0 wallet but remove the contents of your .BeezerCoin folder prior to starting it.

All coins that have been issued via ispace.co.uk mining will be re-issued over the next few days on the V2 blockchain once the network is stable.

Are you serious? I just did all this and pretty much everything I earned through iSpace plus the 2k or so I staked before your fork on 8/21 are just fucking gone. This has been a colossal waste of time.

iSpace - I received your Tweet, the problem is the wallet never completes sync, status stays "out of sync". I've deleted everything to do with BEEZ including my wallet and reloaded 2 or 3 times, still same issue. First, when I start the wallet, it counts down blocks in the status (green bar at bottom) very quicky. If I point to the rotation green errors after that finishes, it says "downloaded 389 of 17148 and only at 2/27%, last block generated 15 hrs ago", in a couple minutes this will change to only say "Downloaded 389 blocks of transaction history". In a few minutes, the the green bar returns again and now shows "~16754 blocks remaining" and just sits there. I've let it sit overnight, the number remaining never drops. The wallet is on the correct block chain from what I can tell by what you told me to check. What can I do to get this fixed? Anyone else still having problems like this or is just me? Thanks for any help.

This is a total shitfest. I had that wallet running as a node and staking on a PowerEdge for quite some time, burning those CPU cycles. And now I literally have nothing to show for it because the coins I earned at iSpace won't leave iSpace, everything I staked is gone, and the Dev is AWOL once again.

Seems the V2 chain stalled or became corrupt probably due to the various versions of the client out there.

I have now launched V3 of the chain along with wallet v3.0.0.0 which will not accept connections to the old nodes/wallets and hopefully avoid any issues.

Please update your wallets from GitHub and restart after clearing out your .BeezerCoin folder.

All coins awarded via ispace.co.uk have been reissued on the new chain.

The new network seems to be stable with regular blocks and transactions being created.

The block explorer will be updated shortly.

All running smoothly this time round and not seeing any errors in the log files. Added a POW period of 25,000 blocks in order to build a more stable network from the outset.

Please do not use the YoBit exchange until they have upgraded their wallet, I have contacted them and asked for the update and will cover any sell orders already on the market.

This was caused by me moving some of the 20m to various wallets for security reasons. The 109m is reported due to the 20m block being drawn from multiple times.

Wallet is showing moneysupply as 20,000,628.

What exactly do you mean POW period? This was advertised as a pure POS coin.

We added the 25,000 POW period in order to initially distribute a small amount of BEEZ to miners prior to POS only kicking in. This is to help build the BEEZ community and a more stable network of nodes.

Wallet appears stalled and I cannot connect my miner to the ports specified on the page for this coin, although it shows blocks are being found. JFYI.

It appears the wallet is stuck again, with a new twist: now it shows the "Balance" as the 9 coins I've staked and the previous ~750 coin balance as the "Stake" amount. At this point, I'm out. And you probably should be too. This coin is a giant mess and even on V3 of the wallet and how many times messing with the blockchain, now an additional POW period that you're being vague about... I just don't see it happening.

The BeezerCoin chain seems to be moving smoothly now with regular POS blocks being found.

Any words from YoBit if they updated their systems? I've sent emails and no reply back. Requested a Beez withdraw several hours ago, and it's still pending on their exchange. Think that place is more a joke than an exchange.

Despite numerous requests to YoBit I have still not had any reply and they still have not updated their wallet so please avoid sending any coins to them until you hear more from me.

I have had coins in wallet quite some time and no stake yet, how long does it normally take and do I need to do anything like encrypt it the unlock or just leave it alone? oh by the way Ispace web site won't load.

Wallet V3 even seems wanked. I've had my wallet open/running for over 24 Hrs, was showing a few 1000 staked, only received 0.33 in those 24 hrs, when at the start of this, that would have been 1000's awarded. I sent a deposit over to the wallet from iSpace this morning, it credited pretty fast, that was like 4 hours ago, but, as soon as it deposited, my "stake" went to 0 and has been there ever since? :( :(

Update 9/14 - now over 48 hours, not staking and no mined coins either :((

    I guess I need to wait a few more days in wallet, only been coins in there from the 9th and I do get deposits good automatic from ispace.

As this is not available on an exchange the autoconversion is disabled.

Is this thing suppose to be staking or not? I've had wallet running for days, was saying it was staking but that went to "0" when I made a deposit to the wallet a couple days ago and has remained at "0" ever since.

I have over 200 beez and yet to stake 1 time, I dont know what the problem is

I have, and have had over 2800 for weeks now and no stake. Was staking before the DEV did the last wallet update, it stopped after that. Also, I can only let the wallet run at night when I'm not using the PC, the wallet brings my i7 Extreme processor to it's knees, to the point the system won't respond and all core's are are at 100% use.

Remove gen=1 from your config or limit it to one core.

Since the V3 wallet I've staked once on 9/14 and once on 9/17. Wallet is running 27/7.

Removed gen=1 and CPU use only at 5%, where it had all 12 cores at 100%. :)

Try in you conf file doing gen=0, I did that and no cpu load or it is the same in the 90's % load, Mine is not staking yet either so do that

gen=1 is only needed for mining POW blocks, POS mining is built into the client and uses hardly any CPU. Using gen=0 in the .conf file is fine.

actually it can not be told exactly that what can be don in future .but one thing in mind lingers everytime high risk high gain.

One year has passed since launch. I never heard about it and glad I havent. Though I will do my best to shutter that little exchange where its listed, I will do it to show people that Im the only dude who has permissions to kill cryptos. I could attack the network or modify the source code but this will require more time.

Beezer Coin has got a very useful addition to the team. According to reliable sources, one of the managers of NEO, Huang Fred, became a new adviser to the project. Thanks to the efforts of the newest member of the team, the coin should be in the very near future on the largest Asian exchange, huobi.com.
