Bither Enterprise Wallet
part 1 - standard model

For companies with deposit/withdraw services (e.g.: bitcoin banks, exchanges ......), they may need thousands of bitcoin addresses, they also may need different kinds of bitcoin addresses (hot, cold, large amount, small amount ......), and they may have to let different people manage different addresses (boss for big money, staff for little money).
All of these can be very "difficult", so many companies have choosed another "simpler" way : running a bitcoind on their server, and when someday in the future, giving their moneys to the hacker.

The standard model of Bither Wallet Enterprise Edition is specially designed for these companies. From deposit to withdraw, we have provided complete solutions, and even large exchanges can depend on Bither to store, manage and use bitcoins safer, easier and with low costs.

First of all, let's take a look at our architect figure:

https://i.imgur.com/0i34KM5.png

1. "Business Platform" is actually the company's own business system, for example, bitcoin exchanges or banks. Bither have provided a complete framework that can be easily integrated to their own business systems.
2. "Blockchain Service" is a specially designed data query service. So your company do not need to depend on other third parties' services.
3. Based on our "Blockchain Service", we provide the "Monitoring Service". With this service, all kinds of the bitcoin addresses used by your company are managed here in an unified method. And the finance/audit departments can use this service to generate financial reports and do realtime audit.
4. We provide "Cold Deposit Wallet", "Large Amount Cold Wallet", "Small Amount Hot Wallet" in this standard model. So the companies can build their own management policy based on our system.

After the construction the standard model of Bither Enterprise Wallet, now your company can easily integrate Bither to your own business system to provide deposit/withdraw services for your customers.

Withdraw schedule:

After our introduction on this model, now you may understand that: with our solution, companies can manage many different kinds of bitcoin addresses in a safer and easier way.

Bither Enterprise Wallet
part 2 - COLD your company's HOT wallet

For some companies, they have to implement "HOT wallet":
1. Exchanges may need hot wallets to provide realtime withdrawal services to their customers, and we all know that realtime withdrawal means better user experience.
2. Payment platforms and OFF-CHAIN wallets need hot wallets too, because when the users are paying the bitcoins, they should never wait.
But we all know that "HOT" means "UNSAFE". If your users can take out the bitcoins in realtime, that means the hackers can use the same route to access these bitcoins. Two hacker events happened in this year (Bitstamp's 19000 BTCs, and Bitfinex's 1700 BTCs) are all because of the HOT wallets.
So what should we do?

The answer is simple: upgrade your "HOT" wallet into "COLD" too, and you can easily do that with the extended "cold your hot wallet" model of the Bither Enterprise Wallet.

The principle of Bither's "cold your hot wallet" model is kinda similar with the individual version of Bither, all of them are using the QR-Codes for information transportation. The difference is, when using the individual version of Bither, you need to scan the QR-Code by yourself, but when using the Enterprise version of Bither, the scanning procedure is finished automatically by programs, so it will fulfill the users' requirements on realtime payments.

When companies want to implement Bither's "cold your hot wallet" model, they should prepare two computers with two webcams, one computer should be disconnected from the internet and running in "COLD" mode, and the other computer is running online in "HOT" mode. The communications between the "COLD" and "HOT" computers are with the QR-Codes, and all of these are working in automatically.

With this "cold your hot wallet" model, companies can implement secured "HOT" wallet system with a very low cost (you can use cheap computers and cheap webcams), and never worry about the hackers. All of your bitcoins will be protected in a "COLD" way!

Bither Enterprise Wallet
part 3 - Cold HDM

After the previous articles, you may understand the functions of Bither Enterprise Wallet. Companies can build their solid bitcoin management system from deposit to withdrawal, and with the whole querying, monitoring, auditting, API solutions based on Bither.

Now we have another question: If we want to manage some bitcoin assets by multiple people, is there any easier ways to do that?

The answer is: You can use the extended "Cold HDM" model of Bither Enterprise Wallet.

https://i.imgur.com/7pX8Pqp.png

For instance, our company has 1000 BTCs, and we want these bitcoins co-managed by three person CEO, CFO and CTO, each payments should be agreed by two of them. It is a standard Multisig model, and we also want to seperately store these bitcoins on 10 different addresses for flexible purpose.

With Bither's "Cold HDM" model, you can easily satisfy these requirements:
1. Each person in this scenario (CEO, CFO and CTO) should prepare a spared mobile phone, and he should assure to protect this phone and keep it offline.
2. The offline phone is used to run Bither Cold Wallet, the person should use the phone to generate the "Cold HDM Seed". CEO/CFO/CTO should protect their phone and make sure their own "Cold HDM Seeds" are backuped safely and secured.
3. After all related persons have prepared their "Cold HDM Seeds", now we can combine them to "Cold HDM" model.
4. On a Bither Hot Wallet's Multisig mode choosing page, select correct n/m multisig mode. In this scenario, we should select 2/3 (in other cases, you can use 3/5, 5/7 ... too).

https://i.imgur.com/h4rnneH.jpg

5. After choosing the mode, you will see a choosing QR-Codes page. Because it is 2/3, we need 3 persons (CEO/CFO/CTO) to provide their HDM QR-Codes. After scaning all QR-Codes, you will find generating addresses page.
6. After choosing to generating 10 addresses, now you have finished constructing the "Cold HDM" model: 3 related person (CEO/CFO/CTO) hold their own "Cold HDM Seeds", and we have 10 2/3 Multisig addresses, sending bitcoins to these addresses (100 BTCs for each address as planned), then we will finish the model construction.

https://i.imgur.com/CAUkgmy.jpg

9. When we want to use some bitcoins from these addresses, because it is 2/3, we need to ask 2 related persons of them to agree, and they should use their Cold phone to "co-sign". After that, the money will be used.

With this "Cold HDM" model of Bither Enterprise Wallet, companies can manage their large amount of the bitcoins in a easier, safer, and more flexible way.

OK, this almost confuse me because I was not thinking about the future update because I felt that can be done by simply modifying the OP thread.

I like the concept in it entirety because it seems it has more security features and the funds in it have some safety but how much will you charge should any company needs you to integrate this in their system? Though I don't have such company right now but just a pre knowledge.

Dear crazyearner,

Which platform are you using, iOS, Android, or desktop?
Are you using the newest version of Bither? 1.3.9 for mobile version, 1.3.7.1 for desktop version.
Also you should try to look at the address you want to send, are there any blank space or other invisible characters in the address?
Can you try to use the "check private keys" function to verify your password?

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The service fee of Bither Enterprise Wallet varies, depends on the company's scale and requirements.
We will provide shared source version of our products and related build/install/construct documents to our customers, and they can use all these to integrate Bither Enterprise Wallet to their own business system.

Thanks for asking, :D

Thanks.

Yes, you can sign a message, and verify the signature with Bither.

Does it directly connect to the blockchain kind of like breadwallet?
Bither is a decentralized SPV wallet, and it will connect to the peers in Bitcoin network.

If you create a traditional bitcoin address (not HD or HDM), you can use the private key of this address to sign the message in Bither.

If you want to use Bither's HDM, you need to prepare another Cold Wallet Phone.

I suggest you should try normal address first, :)
