Title: SRoulette posting PMs in a locked thread. Dishonest person.
Post by: El Cabron on October 19, 2012, 11:29:24 AM
SRoulette posting PMs in a locked thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=119260.0

Theymos has made it clear that posting PMs is fine and that is cool and all but it seems to be in bad taste to do it in a locked thread.

I opened this thread so that there can be some talk about the issue. No need to lock this thread, we can all talk here on a forum. I will let SRoulette defend himself.

The user "SRoulette" made a poll, had people vote, and then changed what people were voting for (after the voted).   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117744.0

He changed the "No" to "Of course" and later changed it back.

I feel this was dishonest and felt that people should not trust someone who thinks being dishonest is funny. I talked to him about this in private but he wants to make the issue public.

So now you know what type of person SRouolette is. Be careful.

This "game site" also send money (or has in the past) to wiki leaks. Just keep in mind that they are seen as "an enemy of the state" in the USA and if you are an American you might be considered funding a "terrorist organization".

I'm not saying what is right and wrong here just making the community know of risks so they can do what they wish.

Best of luck all.

we all saw the poll change, who the fuck cares.

Its his website and he can add PPCoin if he wants, I dont support it but whatever I don't care. The fact that he changed the poll blatantly when we all saw that it used to be "no" is actually quite funny. No one should have to explain it to you why its funny Goat, is your sense of humor that incompetent?

cleanliness is next to Godliness, goat. Being a douche bag doesn't put you on the right path of crypto-currency god.

I see this of yours post as a revenge for my causing your site to be taken down as well for being dishonest and not paying your customers their winnings. You are either a scammer or dishonest and incompetent.

Whats the problem when this was recognizable as a joke? When you dont read it or dont think its funny its your thing. But you didnt get harmed or something. So i wonder what your interest is in here.

And speaking agains wikileaks... that only show that they are idealists with a backbone.

After reading the thread you posted (any accusations of dishonesty directed at gambling operators concern me) I can only assume you have no sense of humour and are just a liar and an unpleasant and bitter dick head.

Stop crying wolf please, the grown ups are trying to gamble.

should not trust someone who thinks being dishonest is funny.

And what of someone who thinks being funny is dishonest?  It's too obvious to be deceitful.

On the other hand posting private PMS publicly is poor form if it's true.

Oh so you are embarrassed by your own actions hence the hissy fit ?
That is understandable, any decent person would be ashamed of your behaviour.

Agreed, but I can understand the motive - if Chaang is really that abusive and threatening in pm he needed to be outed and I applaud them for calling him on his childish tantrum if not for the manner in which they did it.

The original thread and chaangs reaction is simply crazy - only an unhinged person (or a person with an agenda which I suspect is the real case here) would make such a leap from obvious joke to character accusations, it really is revolting to see.

I hope this does not discourage them - still if a troll like chaang could then you should not be running a business i guess.

Goat get your facts straight I support him and I'm not "that" type of person you claim Dice is. Dice is an honorable forum member. Completed a recent deal in which he paid first and I ensured the goods he purchased were received by him in a timely manner. If you can't take a joke, then Pirate's joke went WAY over your head in so many ways. LOL!

I do not think it is a big deal or dishonest. He said that he was only taking positive votes into account.

Let us say that he made a poll about whether or not someone was a scammer. He first had "yes" and "no" options and then he changed "no" to "of course" later to make the accused person look worse. If this were the case, I would say it is dishonest because his intentions were not good.

But that is not the case. The poll was about adding PPCoins to his own website. Changing "no" to "of course" did not hurt anyone and did not help him get more money. There were no good or bad effects of this other than making you mad. Why do you believe he had bad intentions? If his intentions were in fact bad what was he trying to achieve?

My personal opinion was it was dishonest. This was sent to him in a PM. He then posted that PM in a public locked thread and responded to it.

You do not know but there were many PMs going back about a month. We were talking about working together and potentially me buying part of his operation. He took one of many PMs and posted it in a public locked thread and responded there.

He wanted to move this conversation to the public and to do so in a way I could not respond. I felt it was dishonest and explained that to have a reputation that is clean and fair is need in the BTC world, i did this in private!

If you guys think it is funny joke or not does not matter, the context was about my being a partner in the operation and I explained I could not do that if he was not honest and trusted. He is the one who took this out of context and made it public.

I did not start this... This is a warning to anyone who thinks about working with this guy...

Thank you for bringing some reason to this thread.

I (SRoulette) personally do support Wikileaks, I made the mistake of creating the Donation game for our site without clearing it with my other 2 partners.
The concern was raised 3 weeks ago by ThePitHelper and CodeMonkey that we should remain apolitical.
Rather than simply removing the games we decided to remove them from our advertising links at the page footer.
They are still available to play, we plan to wait until the thread several pages deep in the gambling section before disabling the game and manually paying out its current jackpot donation to wikileaks. The same will be done for erowid.

From me or the US govt? Life in jail I'm sure sucks...

This is quite amusing to see Chaang try and take credit for the games.
We patiently explained our (and specifically my) regret about politicizing our site and the reason why the game had already been removed from the footer, prior to him posting these comments.

False Chaang, we have ~ a brief discussion totaling 2 messages from each of us over the space of 1 2 days on the matter and we politely declined you.
There was no ongoing discussion, you had no stake in our company at any time.

Any mod wishing to audit our entire conversation history with Chaang to verify this is welcome to do so if Chaang also agrees to verify we are being factual while Chaang is being deceptive.

Why did you feel you should be able to make claims when I did not have the ability to respond?

Will you in the future post potential investors PMs in public when they are not happy with the way you operate?

Thank you.

Oh you would love it if I was trying to derail the topic. Your background has much to do with your claims here and your shady wiggling actions you keep on portraying on this forum.

BTW he is not my buddy. I just don't like you because you are scum. You have proven to be someone that anyone on this forum should not be listening to  in any form or manner.

My claims are facts supported by linked evidence :)  Deal with the topic. Just cuz you yell pirate does not mean OP was correct in what he did. I'm sorry you can not understand that... But keep yelling..

Seriously you have proven nothing really other than you cry like a big bitch. Who was the one YELLING who made the cry baby thread about the poll? Oh right! YOU! lol

I'm not yelling pirate. I'm simply stating that your involvement in the shady business operations/investments (i.e. your track record) should be brought to light when taking "facts" from you as "truth".

Whats the problem when this was recognizable as a joke? When you dont read it or dont think its funny its your thing. But you didnt get harmed or something. So i wonder what your interest is in here.

And speaking agains wikileaks... that only show that they are idealists with a backbone.

Indeed this was my reasoning for why the joke would have been taken in good humor, oh how wrong I was :(

Could we get a MOD to verify SRoulette's claims about Goat lying about how much ongoing discussion there was in PMs about being business partners etc. This would expose Goat for the scum he is.

I would have no problem sending the PMs to a Mod. They will have no doubt that there was talks about us working together. They could also show that OP lied when he said he declined working with us. That only happened yesterday.

You will only show that OP is being deceptive. Remember he started this...

Now it is "there was talks"...when you earlier said there were "MANY PMS".

LOL there you go wiggling again.

He claims weeks of on going communications and I claim 2 messages and then a recent confirmation that no not at this time or any time in the future.

Wriggle away Chaang.

? You avoid the issue SRoulette. There were communication that took place over about a month. You are just wrong when you say only two messages. I still have them all saved...

Please explain why you felt it was a good idea to take our private conversation public in a locked thread?

Why did you feel you should be able to make claims when I did not have the ability to respond?

Will you in the future post potential investors PMs in public when they are not happy with the way you operate?

Thank you.

He did not apologize for locking the tread where he post my PM to him. If he would do so I will drop this even if he is to ashamed to explain why he took this action.

OMFG. Seriously?

Wow this goes to show how big of a cry baby you are.

The way I see it is if you SAY something on this forum whether in PM or not it is public record because you are posting it on a forum NOT OWNED BY YOU.

Just like you couldn't see Pirate for what he was, you can't see what this forum is and how it works. You got fucked too bad you didn't take into consideration that your PMs are in fact public given there is another party that has a copy of your PMs concerning your failed attempt to become a business partner of some sorts.

Just get on the NEXT TRAIN WRECK INVESTMENT SCHEME and be gone like MNW!

LOL

Also if you read the OP it will help you stay on topic.

Thanks buddy.

Oh chaang, I do recognize your type easily.
You are an unpleasant person and a spoiled brat that is unable to accept being at fault and extremely pissed when your faults are publically displayed (thanks for the entertainment btw).
Usually we see this type of behaviour in sexy white trash women.....

Your friend MnW would be proud to see you imitate his stage exit.

LOL I like how you keep trying to make me out to be "off-topic" when clearly I am on-topic.

You say he posted your PM in an unlocked thread.

I tell you stop crying and that PMs are public info given you dont own the forum.

So tell me again how I'm off-topic?

Goat you are a retarded, spoiled brat, who expects others to help you make money without you doing anything of substance but soil your pants.

Keep trying to WIGGLE more it is VERY ENTERTAINING!

Your Best Friend,

PS - What "business relationship"? From what he said, you folks were NEVER business partners douchebag lol. Seriously "business relationship" that did not exist that you are referencing? This is classic reatardedness at it's finest!

Seems the forum policy is that PM are personal messages and not private messages.
