Go into it as if you lose you are paying for your entertainment. Meaning you are watching an nfl game and you put $50 on it well you could win but the excitement you get even if you lose is worth losing the $50 just as if you went to a concert for 50$ other than that gambling makes zero sense

Don't be so scared about gambling, just don't let it control you. The desire to win or to make up for losses can be strong. When you feel it you need to take a break, cool off.

The best strategy I can offer is come up with some rules on how much you want to gamble and what your losing and winning limits are. Once you've set up those limits you know what you can afford to lose and when you've won enough to walk away for the day or session. The tough part is adhering to these limits because emotions get involved and can be VERY strong.

It's difficult to make them stop because gambling is a devil that attract someone to play it ( devil = greed )

You also have to take into consideration that Poker and Sports games, to me, are the most entertaining forms of bitcoin gambling and is why I tend to stick with them the most.  But before you bet on a poker game, please make sure you have that much free time to begin with, because some games can go on forever before there is ever a direct winner... not so much with sports gambling

Apart from the obvoius "Don't gamble!" advice which was given in this thread many times I'll tell you about the strategy which works for me, but it is very very difficult to use it.
