Lets find their CEO and troll his Google+ page! And after that, we'll threaten to sue! OMG ANOTHER DELAY? Basicly those who have 7950/7970 will probably have to spend more to upgrade than the real performance upgrade. Title: Re: AMD 8xxx Cards Delayed to Q4 2013 Post by: thepwnorbpwnd on February 10, 2013, 12:38:27 AM Not an upgrade? Have you even seen the leaked stats.for the 88xx series? ~25% gains across the board even with better power management.

The whole computer industry is a scam ! Do you really believe there is any true competition between AMD, Intel and Nvidia ? They all cut their gpu/cpu chips from the same wafer ! :D Title: Re: AMD 8xxx Cards Delayed to Q4 2013 Post by: vdragon on February 13, 2013, 12:50:17 PM Not an upgrade? Have you even seen the leaked stats.for the 88xx series? ~25% gains across the board even with better power management. Yes I have seen them. Power draw will like 5% less. 7950 1792 shaders -> 8x50 2048 shaders (will be same as 7970 now). This actually means the following. For a performance increase of roughly 20% (thats higher clock included), you have to sell your 7950 for like 200 euro, and spend roughly 320 euro for a new card. Its 60% more money, for 20% increase. Not worth it if you ask me. Same situation with 7970, you will have a 30% increase there, but have to sell your card for 270 euro, and buy new one for 450 euro ... So for a gamer it might be an upgrade, for us? Not worth the money Title: Re: AMD 8xxx Cards Delayed to Q4 2013 Post by: crazyates on February 13, 2013, 05:26:58 PM Not an upgrade?
