Do you think that if you hold your Bitcoins then increase the price and if you used bitcoins in investment then you also get a profit, in that means BITCOIN is a big business ???   

Yes it is, if you have much asset/capital then it would definitely a big business.

I do not know what the daily cash flow is with Bitcoin.  I know that there is some imaginary line with FIAT revenue or at least liquid flow that makes people start using the term big business.  A local convenience store with $25,000 per week business is not considered big business, where Walmart moving a lot more money in the same period of time is.  

 In those terms, I would imagine that Bitcoin would qualify.  YoBit shows a 240 BTC volume on just the coin ETH.  That is in 24 hours on one traded coin.  That is more than $96,000 worth of trading.  If just ten other coins traded against BTC on that one exchange, that is $1,000,000 in 24 hours on just one exchange.  I would say that qualifies as big business.

there is big business oppertunities in bitcoin.

everything from:
selling goods/services internationally for bitcoin without the risks of large exchange fees or taxes
becoming a payment gateway and taking a profit from the spread/fee(exchanges/localbitcoin)
becoming an escrow/middleman  taking a profit from the spread/fee(bitpay/purse.io)

advertisers/ PR companies / e-learning / consultation

pretty much the sky is the limit to the possible business opportunities available

yes it is, bitcoin now has become a big investment for me, you can hold it and then sell it when the price is right, or you can invest it, but for me i used it for trading and for gambling

Bitcoin is indeed big business, especially for certain exchange holders. If a certain stock market exchange will allow people to professionally trade Bitcoin on their platform, then it would be even more spectacular since it allows institutional traders to safely trade Bitcoin with their multi millions.

And it actually works pretty much the same way as stocks, well atleast its market. Most people who are working with BTCs are just basically holding up their BTCs until such time that the value is a lot higher than when they first got them.

i think you can consider bitcoin as a big business in a sense that you can invest your money into it and take the profit over time.
the good thing is that nobody owns this business (in other words it is decentralized)

bitcoin is the best and most expensive coins today. This makes it the best chance of coins to be used as a commercial enterprise. I also now make money from bitcoin from a variety of ways such as trade, investment, and much more. but everyone saw bitcoin from a different view

I mine altcoins and sell most of the coin to exchange into bitcoin. It is not economy for me to mine bitcoin directly.

It is big business but people seeing al this money flowing around come to wrong ideas. Trying to scam others since they can't do it honestly.

there will always be some people in any place that are trying to scam others, and there is never an escape from it either.

just take a look at the investor-based games section on this forum, it is filled with Ponzi scheme scams, and every day there is a lot more starting and there is not stopping that. they are like mushrooms they grow out of nowhere and there is a lot of them.

That's the beauty of bitcoins for most scammers. Bitcoin transactions doesn't track where it came from and the nature of the business or transaction. That's probably why bitcoin is highly used in the dark market.

Bitcoin is very rare used by business people. I think reason is the decreased users compared to other currencies we use. Only if most users prefer them, only then high or good earning possible for the business people.

My suggestion is that business people prefer bitcoin more, another thing bitcoin is a good business for many people, they invest some capital and earn more from investments.

I won't call it a business per se. It is a tool to use to make payment easier. Nobody owns bitcoin, it is free market.

Its way easier now then 2012-13 or previous years even when the bitcoin atm came around.

Now its way easier since the bitcoin debit card is in place for traditional transactions. And anyone thinking its a business is derping lol. People should continue to see it as a payment tool nothing more then that.

If you use your Bitcoins in a different fields, like holding your bitcoin and wait for increasing price, then you get a profit.
Secondly if you use you bitcoin in investment then you get a profit.
So it means Bitcoin is a good and big business.

I get what you said now. I think you are confusing 'investment' to 'business'. Bitcoin can be used as a business such as buying and selling bitcoins or trading them. Bitcoin can be used also as a currency such as what we are doing right now. By your question, holding on to bitcoins is called 'investment'. I hope I cleared out a few points.

Well, I think you are referring to the investment aspect of Bitcoin, because Bitcoin isn't technically a business. Bitcoin does have a big market cap though, and it does have a lot of investment potential for the future. Some big movements are not completely outside of the realm of possibility, but there are no guarantees. We'll just have to wait and see.

It is not a business, it is a currency.  Business = centralized  Bitcoin = decentralized.  One should not use business when describing bitcoin.

It was indeed created to be a currency and can be used as such, but many people (me included) use it as an investment/way to earn money.

Yeah its a business just like other altcoin or its just like a gold they are selling it for high every year the price of gold is increase.. just like bitcoin if less supply and more buyers expect that the price will increase if the if less demand and more supply expect for the price decrease..

That is fine and all and technically yes you could say so.  But isn't the purpose of Bitcoin to move away from current economic models into a new era?  That era being a decentralized economy devoid of current "business" practices?

Bitcoins is not a business. Its a Currency and a very good one.  People buy it and sale it at a higher price and use it in a business mode but in reality it is a greatest digital currency ever.

Of course it is. There are thousands of people using bitcoin to purchase stuff everyday. There are also people buying/selling btc. btc-e's trading volume is near 2.5m$ and that is just for today.

Bitcoin is way more than just a currency.I wouldn't say it's a good one as it fluctuates too much.Imo Bitcoin today and for many more years is more an investment and object of speculation.This is good because we all want it to rise in price.
Beside that it's function as a network and platform allows it to people build businesses on top of it. Yes, why? Is there something wrong with that? When people buy at a cheap price and then sell at high prices and then the person will benefit. So more and more people have a number of bitcoin, the more the benefits that will he be able to.

For me, Yes it is a kind of business, bitcoin is just like currency and when we use it in different ways and get profit and so it is definitely Business.     

Bitcoin is not a business, it is a piece of code that enables businesses to build applications and services on top of this technology. There are approximately $6.8 billion worth of business and money poured into this technology and that in my opinion, can be defined as < Big business >

there are allot of people who say that the bitcoin is going to be popular in big companys but i think the biggest companys are only focused on the gold. Gold is everything for them and is they are not going to use the coin the coin will disappear slowly.

To me, yes, the bitcoin price will definitely explode with the coming years. Although it might not rise exponentially in the near future, it definitely has the potential to do so over the long term. Think of it like a store of value.

But the bitcoin price being high doesn't mean that bitcoin is successful. It's all relative to each other. It could be because fiat has become worthless. The value of bitcoin should be measured by the success it brings as a payment gateway.

It is a big business for sure, and like in everything else how much you invest, that is how much money you will earn. That means more money, bigger risk, higher payment. Math is simple when we look at situation like that.

People who are in blockchain from beginning made a lot of money, people are still making money, and for sure they will make money in the future.. doesn't matter if its daily trading or holding for longer. All that show us that bitcoin can be business for someone, and like proof of that we have many people that earn from trading with btc.

Very few people will do that. For many people, the bitcoin related business is too small for the time being.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and you can use it in business of whatever size you want but talking about the future potnetiality about bitcoin yes it is really a big thing and even usefull to common level people. Decentralized system is what people will love in future.

He is an old style investor. He wants to invested in tested investments such as silver or company with good cash flow.

May be you are right, but i think who do invest in bitcoins and getting profit monthly and also who hold the bitcoins and when price grew up than sell the bitcoins and get profit, so it has clear mean that bitcoin is a not big but it is a good business.

yes it really can be regarded as a big business, but when you really do buy at a low price and sell at very high prices. like the examples I've read the news, someone bought 5000 BTC when the price $1 and he remembered that he had bought it at a cheap price. and finally he sold at a high price. then he was able to buy an apartment.

You can see Bitcoin as big business put it can become allot bigger then it already is at the moment but there for they will have to attract more users.
If they are able to do that it will become even a bigger business in the future.

yeah it is right. I am earning a good amount and will collect a bigger amount of bitcoin and when I will have my bitcoins to some extent tat with them I will be able to start a business then I will invest to start that business and so I will have a good business with the money from bitcoin.

If you hold the bitcoin since 2011, the price should have risen many times. So it is a very good profit to be made.

if you have been holding bitcoin since 2011 without selling it, then there is only two possible scenarios:

1) you don't care about the price or care about bitcoin as an investment and you are only interested in it as a technology and as a currency.

2) you are an idiot who missed an opportunity to sell, make a profit and buy back again 10 times more bitcoin at the bottom. rinse and repeat.

Bitcoin has definitely a lot potential, but it will never be "the future of all money". Bitcoin will remain an alternative to fiat money, and that's more than enough for the majority of the people here.

Not big, huge business! Look at the market, look that rise and fluctuations. People are earning money form bitcoins, and people who had balls to invest a lot of money 5 years ago, they earned good money as I can see.
For people with big founds, its easy to make big business. They can afford to invest money, and even if they lose they can recover on other sides. We saw couple of them selling everything they have and investing in bitcoins, that is huge risk. But as we can see not, that huge risk was good decision. Even now price is ok for buying, for people who have money to invest they can double their money in couple years.
