I wonder if you would jump into another cryptocurrency in case the Bitcoin price would fall to the bottom. Or what else would you do? Would you leave the game completely? Tell me :)

probably yes (as far I am newbie on this world). but just because a new coins will replace btc: a 2.0 version of the coin ;)

if i'm not have much coins i think i will continue and maybe start again , but who know what will happen to big holder , because lose too much will be make some effect in mentally

i would prefer let my bitcoins in my wallet rather than getting any pennies as exchange to my bitcoin,and waiting for another big price rising
few pennies can't fulfill my needs i think

If thats the case i would buy many bitcoin as i can because all bitcoin user here thinks that bitcoin wil rise again because it is normal to down in that price so many will buy and hoping that they gained more profit here. Thats the right time to buy bitcoin and thats the time of earning mre in bitcoin

actually i have no idea for facing these situations but if this is come true i think i would still for bitcoin and would buy it as much as I can and i think i would save my bitcoin into cold storage till hoping that someday the prices will rise up again

As I've said with every other thread about this, it all depends on how the market was looking. If it is sitting low because everyone has basically just bailed and the community is dead, then I'll be selling and backing out for a long time. If the value just collapsed for one reason or another, I might buy $20 worth of Bitcoin, but I'd disregard most of what would happen from that point. If it was at the bottom because of a few sell orders, I'd buy them and then sell them immediately after for some easy money.

I don't know, it would really depend, if any other crypto becomes as much popular as bitcoin is right now then yes I would probably consider investing in it but if no other crypto becomes mainstream then I probably won't invest in of the existing crypto and rather wait for some new crypto to grow.

What bottom are you talking about? You mean situation when BTC price will reach $1 or situation where we will see decline of price back to $300 or something?
As for total bottom I don't think it will ever happen so we don't need to worry.
Crash like that would require gathering of massive anti bitcoin forces, like banks, governments and companies all working together to destroy BTC.

you have to first clarify what you mean by falling into a bottom and also what would be the reason for this fall?

depending on these two i can give a variety of answers.
but one thing is for sure, i will never look elsewhere to fill the place of bitcoin.

If Bitcoin had another catastrophic  collapse, then substitutes like Ethereum would be considered much more heavily.

Also it would hurt Cryptocurrency in general as people would not want to invest in them since they collapse easily.

There would have to be a catastrophy to make bitcoin bottom out, in which case the same would happen to the shitcoins too.  In fact they'd get hit first I would think.  I don't own a lot of bitcoins, so I'd be OK.  I would probably start gambling at prime dice or some such casino if they still existed.

I will probably buy some cheap BTC - even if those coins don't rise again :D Maybe one day I will tell stories about BTC to my grandchildren who knows  :D Well that will be only the first move - the next one will be to pick another promising alt coin and still be part of the journey :D Anyway I don't think such a scenario will occur to be honest...

there is too much industry involved in bitcoin. this would make any price drama be only temporary, so if you see a price dump. grab the cheap coins while you have the chance

if bitcoin is in the lower rates then I would buy bitcoin in significant amounts. I'm sure someday bitcoin prices will go up at a fantastic price. I'll take that risk.

I think instead of waiting for that to happen, it would be best to diversify into alternative currencies now. While Bitcoin is THE blue-chip among cryptocurrencies (for now), there are dozens of rising stars to be found on the pink sheets.

Digital currency is the future - that is for certain. So spreading out your investment simply makes the most sense. 8)

If this really happen, well, life will not stop because of this.
I will forget about this story and move on, try with some other virtual currencies.

Can you explain in detail falls down on the price range? bitcoin already suffered several falls lower. I've done as usual and I usually prefer to buy.

I will not jump into other currencies as I support Bitcoin till the end as there are only two outcomes possible.

1- Bitcoin will reach very high levels. 2- Bitcoin will end up being worthless.

You also have to realize one major fact. Bitcoin is like the benchmark for ALL existing cryptocurrencies, a prime example of digital money of new era.
Any scenario when bitcoin will fall is totally unfavorable to EVERY other cryptocurrency. It will shake people trust for whole crypto market.

Yes if they sell their bitcoin in low price but if they hold it and wait it again to rise.they didnt lose their bitcoin. Thats good idea but it is like bitcoin but bitcoin is the best than ethereum. If the bitcoin price will fall on the bottom many of traders will gained more bitcoin at lowa price they can earn more in the nest price rise so it is good to bitcoin to fall  down many will gained profit on it.

If Bitcoin price will fall down like $10 then I will probably buy some. I will see that as some opportunity to have good profit later when price will grow again and last, but not least to support Bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is important but most important is if Bitcoin will exist and will be used.

I'll stop trading my Bitcoins with altcoins and also I'll try to buy few Bitcoin and hold it for the price increase. And even if Bitcoin rate is stable at that low price, I'll not get much loss.

When the bitcoin price starts to fall, I will buy Etheruem using the bitcoin. When it drops to $10, I will buy it again.

I will never get out of bitcoin completely i may sell when price start to fall un naturally to get some fiat and buy whatever bitcoin i can buy at the bottom price with that fiat.

I would hold all my coins and not sell any. I don't want it to happen ever and so many users here (including me) have invested their time, money and effort using this currency and it's not only the price that would affect their financial status but we all are quite attached to this currency. I know that it may fall if something major happens but hopefully it never happens.

Well I'm actually mildly confused of what you meant by bitcoin price falling to the "bottom" because I do not exactly know what value that is, but let's assume that bitcoin does indeed fall dramatically.
I would not actually try to shift-out and use a different coin just yet, in fact, I may actually see that as an opportunity to buy bitcoins at really cheap price.

If the Bitcoin price falls down to double digits I would probably stop hoarding Bitcoin as a store of value. I don't know what will happen to the other alt coins but I think their value is tied to Bitcoin somehow so maybe they will be affected in a negative way as well. But I hope the online retailers will continue to accept Bitcoin as a method of payment as I would be using the crypto coin as a digital currency exclusively. But if Bitcoin support is dropped by the retailers I would just exit the crypto coins scene for good.

Every true bitcoin user would support bitcoins even in its bad days. When we can see a rise from 2013 till today, we need to support it even if it drops again. It will never reach $1 but it could possibly reach $100 if it is banned in more countries.

well yeah it most probably will be number one currency in the world though there might be better cryptos creating so that means theres a threat for bitcoin that it might get replaced

if bitcoin would fall to the bottom i would just buy even more bitcoins then because i think that the price would go significantly up after that big drop though i doubt there will be a drop

New to the forum, just asking, how do you analyze bitcoin price, have been watching one channel for past week and it says the support level is at USD550/btc and the resistance levek is at USD580, previous 2 forecast was right , at break resistance of USD450 and USD500, now the channel says if breaks USD580, next resistance is USD750. I think its impossible to happen that they will convert to another or the price will down..bitcoins is already adopted by many people just like brazil many stores are accepting bitcoins right now so its impossible that bitcoin will convert to other..

With bitcoin you cannot assume that it will always keep on rising. At times it will fall also and that is the best time for buyers to buy the coins. The good thing about the coin is that it always come back and rise so it gives investors opportunity to earn if they have good know how of trading.
Making right decision at the right time is the key to success here.

The only way I can see of the price falling to the bottom as you put it would be because it was broken. I would hedge my bets and be in multiple other potential coins, I have my eye on some and if the money went somewhere else and my investment was gone I would just move on with my work in real life and leave crypto totally. What would you do if you had time to move you money out of BTC at the right time?

For my part, if the price really goes down, I will continue to use Bitcoin, but I will try to find the cause of the fall and if the value of the currency will rise or not.

Bitkoin won the trust of many people, and I doubt that it will fall to the bottom.
Yet, if this happens suddenly, then I think enthusiasts, developers will create something like Bitcoin 2.0 or Bitcoin resurrect the past, as we got used to it. I mean, seeing the price had fallen, people will buy his excitement, while its price is so low. And thus the price will increase again.

Actually I am not mentally prepared to face such dramatic scenario, that is why perhaps I would choose to continue keeping my bitcoins till the end, although I have to admit that it is likely that I had spend most of my coins with anticipation.

There would be panic sellers who would just take any amount for their coins while those who have genuinely spent a lot of effort and money in buying those coins would never sell it. It would be mainly those who earned coins via illegal methods who would be eager to sell their coins.

I think the bottom of the current trading range is around $550. So if the price falls to that level, I will buy some.

Bitcoin would not drop in a day. There could be 2 scenarios : the price drops rapidly in a month or it is banned and hence blockchain and other wallets would shut down. I do not think either of these could happen.

I will observe first if bitcoin doesnt rise up for a about a week and stablize at that price then thats the time i need to sell all my bitcoim even at low price and start using new alt coin.

That day will never come in future when price of bitcoin will fall that low, we should be positive related to the price of bitcoin and more adoption will take price to a higher level.

I would just hold a part of bitcoins for the future because there is also a chance that the bitcoin will come back better and stronger out of the falling.

You are right. Bcause bitcoin has been around 7 years and there hasn't been any incident of this currency being termed as illegal. There were controversies earlier but still the inventor hasn't created it for illegal purposes.

To the bottom means many different price like $100 or back to $300 but if this happens then i will probably hold even longer and trying to increase the total amount of bitcoin. A good way is also to invest in altcoins now and when the price crashes the exchange rate increases which means that we have more volume in bitcoin.

many investors will start buying if they see even a slightest dips, that is why the volume is much higher in dips and price can't go down so much. it is because of these buy orders that come in when they see the change.

First thing. I am already using some altcoins. and bitcoin too, using another cryptocurrency doesn't mean that you should left bitcoin.. and if I jump to another coin it really doesn't effect bitcoin and its price.

First of we should decide what is "the bottom". Is it $100, $50 or even less? IMO the bottom for Bitcoin is $490 and I think not only me but many others too would buy as much as they can if we see Bitcoin at that "bottom".

Even some have jumped from bitcoin to ethereum and litecoin before it hadn't made any dip in bitcoin price instead of that price goes up and that also helps other alts price to go up. And even if bitcoin price goes quite dip, nobody gonna miss the chance to buy cheaper coin so that price will again shoot  up.

If price goes that low then I would surely try to collect as much coins as possible as I am sure that bitcoin has a potential to rise again in future.

One important question is: what do you call a "bottom"? IMO there is a line that BTC won't cross - with that amount of people interested in bitcoin it's almost impossible for the price to fall below 100$.

Well for me if it will happen that the price will fall in the bottom i will stay holding some of my coins and i think the price will increase fast because they already know that this is the cheapest price of bitcoin.. so more investor are buying bitcoin..

I like your optimism and its same that  I will do probably. Turning the disaster into an opportunity. Always hopeful of what will happen next. If bitcoin price will fall to the lowest possible price, its an opportunity to buy. Its not the end of the world yet ;)

If it happens, which is pretty much impossible. the we can't do anything really. we can't even sell our bitcoin for low price which we bought for 200$ to 400$ each.
there will be only option for us to hold our bitcoin for more time and wait for again it's price increase.

I'm sure when the bitcoin prices fall, many people who have plans to buy as much as possible. I will do that and do a brisk trade to benefit greatly.

about two days ago the price of bitcoin is reduced about $200 (from $770 to $570) , a number of people started to sell it but those who were expert in bitcoin did not sell their coins and started to buy more so today they earned about $100 per bitcoin.

If bitcoin price going down i will buy it with all of my idle money and usually price of bitcoin going down couple month after halving block. It happened on last halving block. And history will repeat itself.

then I will buy more bitcoins as I know bitcoin is now a normal currency and a number of people are using bitcoin for their businesses so bitcoin will not die and when it fall to down it rise again.

but it is important to know that you shouldn't wait for the bottom that you have in your mind because that may never happen. just like yesterday's price where a lot of speculators were saying bottom is so much lower but it stopped at 550 ish and then rise up again.

If there's no future left for bitcoin, then I'll leave it for sure. There's no use to keep it if bitcoin has no value.

I think most people would just switch to another altcoin after a while, maybe not at first because prices of altcoins would probably also drop, but after a while we would just move on.

I would probably just keep it there in my wallet, and wait the price til rise up again. Because I never actually buy Bitcoin, I always earn it. So that's why it's not a really worst situation for me.

Buying bitcoins is also a good idea. But how can we just be sure its value will not be decreasing in further days. Will be taking higher financial risks good for our happy brighter future. I do not think so.

I don't think that is the best thing to do because why you need to switch to another cryptocurrecy if in the end you need to convert it to bitcoin because bitcoin is the mother of all currency, All currency is following and depending on bitcoin. So for me it's best to buy a lot of bitcoins and hold them for a few more weeks or months because i think that it will back to normal soon :D.

I think you less do a research on price of bitcoin, so you are too careless when doing an estimate. The price of the bitcoin on halving time indeed is very profitable and it is very good we do to capitalize on it. But you should also know that halving last only a few weeks/months. If you buy coins at a price beyond the standard then feared you would wait until several months or years to get the profit

Well from my opinion no other crypto has potential like BTCitcoin to get survive and rise to the moon, in that case if price would fall to the bottom than i would like to buy more when it will more cheaper instead to jump into other crypto currency because only BTCitcoin will go to the mainstream.

Yup other crypto has potential to rise again like bitcoin, and bitcoin has proved it many times, at a moment also price getting higher and higher  that indicates that bitcoin has a great future ahead.

Yeah, it's true that the future of the bitcoin tend to be better and will provide a decent life for us. But it needs to be well thought out, too, that it must be seen in the positive and negative Sides. We have a dream that was so high on the bitcoin, but we must also have the worst dreams of bitcoin. So that in the future we don't get depressed and frustrated.

I would probably sell whatever I have and back out of Bitcoin for a little while and wait to see where it goes, and probably look to make some money through trading altcoins, however I would have no idea what altcoin I would hold them in. Bitcoin has gained a lot of popularity worldwide to the extend that i don;t believe its price can fall to the bottom. All I know is that there might be volatility in the price where it will fall sharply or rise sharply but it will stay at the low prices for long. The best thing I will do when the price falls to the bottom is that I will buy more bitcoins and add the existing ones. Once it hits a high, I will dispose them.

In Bitcoin world anything can happen, It may go up, and it will fall like a hell. If it falls to the bottom what we can do, We collect coins how much we can, and we just hold our coins in our wallet. first thing i will see that how much it has fallen because if it falls upto 1-10$ then i don't think it  will rise again to even 200$ easily so i will switch to different altcoin in the market which i know will gonna give me profit of loss at least they where moving.

I think i will stay with this coin.  Until it become worthless.  The mere fact that I am not accumulating Bitcoin to hold it for a long time and sell it when it grow in price is pretty much advantageous for me.  I acquire Bitcoin to trade altcoins and reacquire it to participate to another trade.  So basically until bitcoin is worthless I will stay with it for the profit of trading.

I would buy bitcoin then buy into a alternate coin that is fairly new and not have to worry about if bitcoin price will comeback or not.
Or just buy into Ethereum like so many have and have made a good profit from doing so. It doesn't seem to depend on the price of bitcoin. It looks to be the only one that is independent on itself.

If the price of bitcoin fall to the bottom there will be some concrete reason behind it. I would deeply study about it and If I could manage to conclude that bitcoin is no more worth breathing only in that scenario I would move to another crypto currency, but I will still be associated with it because it will be like a complete case study package of ‘life of a crypto currency from beginning to end’. I don’t see any reason for this in near future as some incidents are indicating about a strong value of bitcoin in future.

I truly think the only way bitcoin could fall to the ground is if someone figured out how to solve the encryption. It would essentially render the technology worthless.

Such a fall won't happen in a short or too, at the same nothing is assured or sure with bitcoin. For this reason if the price goes down will try to buy as much possible, because bitcoin nature is to grow after fall.

thats true, bitcoin has a lot of users right now and i think that the price wont just start falling all at once because people will hold, besides that i think it is more realistic that the price will go up

If there was another cryptocurrency just as good as Bitcoin that was around the same price, they I would definitely jump over to that currency and invest quite a bit of money in it.

Me too! I would never sell in that circumstance, rather, I would buy as much as I can, take it as an investment(or gamble). It could be a huge chance for you to earn big, or go broke. If it had already hit bottom, then it's already too late for you anyway since you'd be selling at a huge loss. You'd be coughing up blood if you sell at bottom price then the value suddenly goes to an all-time-high.  :P

It might just happen, but I think it also depends how the policy from the creator of cryptocurrency. If they do not support the policy for everybody certainly will remain standing and bitcoin is used by everyone.

If that would happen then many would suffer big loss may others do panic selling when the price continue to dump and jump to another potential crypto coin. But it's only an assuming situation.

If bitcoin price fall to the bottom, basically the reaction is find something that is rising from the bottom.  So yes I would find another crypto worth of investing.  I would probably play with bitcoin in exchange market to profit before bitcoin goes down to the void.

I don't even know what that "bottom" price is, which is why I don't really have any idea just yet on what to if that happens. If, say, this "bottom" means the least value among all cryptocurrencies, then that's basically just worthless. If that was to happen, then of course, I'd switch to a different alt since bitcoin would then be worthless.

I lost around a bitcoin in the cryptsy drama anyways, so I have much less Bitcoins left. So probably wouldn't affect me much.

The only thing that would make me move into another cryptocurrency if there's a much more successful crypto out there than bitcoin. I'll just buy more bitcoin if price goes down hard.

I guess the only reason why bitcoin price would drop a lot is there will be a new technology that appear and offer us more great features than bitcoin in future. I don't think it would happen in next few years, since bitcoin itself still need more adopters so world people would aware of this kind of technology.

That is what I am going to do too. Holding and purchasing more bitcoin is the only thing to do when bitcoin price crash. I do not believe bitcoin will be overtaken by any active alt coin right now. It is well established and stable. If it crash, there is no other way for the price but up.

The possibilities are people left BTC for some majority hack/glitch/issue or people have migrated into another crypto-currency and that currency has surpassed all the advantages of BTC over other alt coins. I think before BTC price would touch the bottom, I have already sold all my BTC or maybe just convert it into another crypto-currency. It's not like BTC would go from 600$ into 1$ in one night. It will take time before a coin dies.

Taking bitcoins place would be hard and it would take a long time if it possible to happen. As you can see there are lots of alts are existing almost every month, weeks or even days and some are just  scam coins but not all some alts  has the potential and  would developed in the future  just like bitcoin but  for sure when the time comes  bitcoin is too far away from those alts  and would become more popular.

bitcoin price always falls to a bottom from now and then, and after that it start rising again. what I do is that I try to summon some money to buy bitcoin whenever it is low enough and if I could I would sell it before the drop so that I have more money to buy back again. this way I can accumulate more bitcoin than I can afford to buy in just one move.

If bitcoin goes back, say below $300, I might consider selling everything (which is actually not a lot) since I have only been buying and accumulating since April of this year. Best way is to always have a contingency plan. It's okay to hope for bitcoin to rise in value, but considering it's trend by that time, it may actually mean that bitcoin is dead if it falls to the bottom. In my personal opinion, I do not think that it would fall completely.  Bitcoin is the first and the most well-known crypto currency.  In case there woild be a fall, maybe all altcoins will also fall as bitcoin is their basis I think of their price.  It is like, there are much supporter of bitcoin than any other cryptos out there.

That "problem" is most probably a really really huge force that it made Bitcoin's price drop that hard. If bitcoin's price goes back to the bottom, then that basically means people have lost their faith on Bitcoin. It's either all the Bitcoin users have migrated into a new crypto-currency that is far better than Bitcoin or Bitcoin turned out as a scam (or maybe even blockchain gets hacked).

Plenty of scenarios can happen that will cause bitcoin price to go back to bottom but one thing is for sure, there's no way that Bitcoin will recover again after it has lost people's trust.

I think i will follow the community. If the seniors migrate to some other coin i would do that too and if they stay and wait to see what happens with bitcoin later i would do that too, but i personally feel that is not going to happen.

It will depend on the effect of that major reason on how will people will react in the future. Also price decrease is part of bitcoin world and it happens also to other crypto so no difference at all even people leave bitcoin and transfer to other cryptos.

Bitcoin has a tendency to go down in value and then go back up. IF that trend continues by that time, then I too would go buy a lot of bitcoins, hoping that I may make a lot of profits when it goes back up. What could cause a reason for such a large fall in bitcoin?  I do not see any specific reason or event that could happen in which would drop bitcoin down that far.  There is to many people who are using it right now.  Of coarse this is just my opinion.

Nothing wrong with diversifying your portfolio a bit. That's why it's usually suggested to not keep all your eggs in one basket.

yeah of course no reason why bitcoin prices fell sharply. and why a lot of people selling a lot of their bitcoin. perhaps by looking at their reasons. we can do what action we should do after that. maybe hold or sell yout bitcoin

In that case. I will convert all of my bitcoin into our currency and withdraw it in the bank so that I am sure that my money will survive from that hell moment. Hehe. Other option is I guess I will buy stacks in trading site because not all crypto currency are affected in case it is happen. I do believe if bitcoins just fail, some other altcoin will get its place, but i do believe as well altcoins will die almost instant, even knowing there are several coins ready to take bitcoin place anytime, just need and wait one shot to make it happen.

Bitcoin is like the Phoenix, falling to its death but rising from its ashes. If the price of bitcoin would fall to the bottom, it would surely grow again, so the best idea if you see that happening is to buy even more.

The most common answer will be to buy the bitcoins at that time,as much as we can because bitcoin will surely gonna rise again and rise pretty quickly again.So that will be a good chance for all of us to earn some profit by buying bitcoins at that low price and just wait and see the price go up again.

There is not much to do when the Bitcoin falls to the bottom, I then would just quit with Bitcoin because at that point there is no reason for me to stay.
I just will find something else that is going to let me make some extra money.

I think of course people are not going to invest all their money in one investment alone. I think it is a stupid thing. I think when the price of bitcoin very deep maybe someone will panic and sell all their bitcoin? but to me maybe I'll look at the situation before taking action

If bitcoin was to fail on that scale to the point where it was worthless then i would think that most other cryptos would be worthless also, it just aint going to happen tho, bitcoin gets stronger everyday.  even if it did i would probably buy a load and have a wait and see attitude.

Bitcoin will be more stronger in future but if at any point of time price falls then we should keep ourselves engage in buying more bitcoins as it has potential to rise again in future.

not all the altcoins are stuck to bitcoin, and if bitcoin fails which is not possible many of them will fail too because they are only made to help us make more bitcoin. but there are still some altcoins that are not this way and are mostly on their own and doing their stuff like monero for example.

I don't think about it anytime. I am just concentrating on my earn of bitcoin. Now, I am earning by signature campaign and trading. I never thought about that what will I do when bitcoin price fall to bottom. I wish that it might not happen in future.

I agree bitcoin price is pretty much stable at this moment.  I think people realized that bitcoin is really important and can give them a decent amount of profit if they hold it and not sell asap.  I think that from here, bitcoin will never fall to the bottom but if it starting, i might consider sellng somme of my BTC and buying at lower amount to increase my holdings, and play with the market.

What if bitcoin does not grow again once you buy a lot of bitcoins and hold? There probably be a reason behind that drastic drop of bitcoin price and if that problem is not solved then it might die forever and don't recover again.

In the event happens the likely impact of bitcoin many investors to seek other coins for them to recover and earn . Maybe for me as well as I do find a different currency and I buy bitcoin while I wait to lift its price. Just because you lose nothing when bitcoin investors and its miners . So I did not leave until miners and traders have not been stop to support bitcoin.

And it will depends on how much the bitcoin price will reached it's "bottom".

I would leave the game completely. I dont even know how to take that first. How much I would feel down with that lost. I might get a lot of beer first. Drunk myself until I fall in my sleep. Then maybe the next day I could think of what to do.

Most likely I would invest into the bitcoin with some money to gain profit later on because I'm pretty sure the bitcoin will after that go up again like all other times this happens.

Yes bitcoin price is rising at the moment the bitcoin price now is range 628.3 dollar and this is good to us because if we hold our bitcoin in our bitcoin wallet for sure we easily earn profit because the bitcoin price increase and for me im going to use this for investment .

We may see some higher price in coming days so its better to hold them for future and sell when it is allowing to make profits and price drops then don't forget to buy more.

I would do the same what every experienced and wise bitcoin user will do.Buy a lot of bitcoins at that time,as much as i can because i know that even its price will come down to bottom it will gonna go up again and prettty quickly.At that time demand for buying bitcoins will increase alot and obviously the price will start to increase again,so it would be an easy profit situation.

Personally, if Bitcoin dropped to like a few dollars, I'd buy $100 - $200 worth and seal it away in a paper wallet. If the price of Bitcoin dropped that low, it would mean something pretty serious happened and the chances of Bitcoin fully recovering would be low. I would just forget about my stash and Bitcoin and move on to do other things.

That's a good way to see it. It would be unfortunate for the most of us though if the value of bitcoin is to go down. However, if we're smart enough, we'd sell our coins the moment we see it slipping down to avoid further loses and see the fall of value as a new start, just like yourself. I want to pray that doesnt happen that BTC have to reach the bottom. I wont want to go with your option because its a great risk in which I am not willing to take in the sense that what if the price did not pick up again?. Sure, that's fine if you don't own a lot but if you have tens of thousands of dollars in Bitcoin, there is no way you would just keep your coins and watch the price drop. If you're holding 1 BTC you bought at $600 and the price drops to $1, a kid with $2 in his pocket would have more Bitcoins than you.
Personally I would sell if the price drops below a certain threshold and then maybe buy back a few coins lower down.

It doesn't goes same with everyone, as if I am holding 100 btc in my wallet and if price goes to bottom, then I need to think twice before buying it, as I am already in loss and will never prefer to buy at that stage.

if the price drops down slowly, i would stay with bitcoin. if the drop is more rapid (within few weeks), then i would leave cryptocurrency forever even if the price raise to new high in later period

Sometimes when I'm seeing that the price is partly falling down and decreasing I am getting hurt fast but still since I trust bitcoin I'm sure that it is just happening for sometime but the increasing of its price is going to be more. And if this is going to happen I believe that when it falls to the bottom I'm pretty sure that it is going to fly high again skyrocket to the moon.

It would be a question of why it dropped.
If the bitcoin generating process would have been actually hacked, I think I would retire from bitcoin becaus it will never again be worth anything.
If only a few exchanges got hacked, bitcoin itself would be intact and the drop would be a panic reaction.
Such a situation would be an opportunity for me to buy cheap and hold until the next increase that will surely come.

I'd actually watch how much does Bitcoins price tank by. If it tanks a lot, I'd then have to withdraw the funds and store it in fiat until the price settles and starts showing some signs of increase. Once it does, I'd re-invest it back and then get back to holding the Bitcoins and constantly watch the price for the next couple of weeks.

This is a very important question for me, and I am still not too sure about it, because bitcoin is for me only a long term investment, but I am gaining much more money investing and trading my fiat money, so in case of such unexpected failure I would not have problem with leaving this ecosystem.

Imho Bitcoin has already passed the test of time and we will never see it's price reaching the bottom,if a new and improved altcoin is going to replace it someday then I will start using it for sure but let's be honest none of the existing altcoins is good enough to replace Bitcoin,I agree there are many interesting projects but you can't even compare them with the number one cryptocurrency.

I think i agree when you said that bitcoin already passed the test of time but i have to disagree when you said that there is no existing altcoin that is good enough to replace bitcoin, actually there are altcoin that is far more superior in terms of technicalities, the only thing that bitcoin keeps on being the top currency is the base users.  but many of them are now looking at the altcoin list as alternative.

You have a point here but I am afraid that if any of these "far more superior in terms of technicalities" altcoins acquire a user base as big as Bitcoin's will face many and serious problems,in theory, they might look far superior but they have to prove it in practice,anyway time will tell I guess this talk is pure speculation and none of us knows what the future will bring.

Bitcoin has traveled a longer journey for to reach the success and it is now only a short way back from the success and very sooner it will cover that way and if other coins will cover that journey bitcoin will be an established digital currency and then people will not like to jump to any other currency.

People will not jump to any other currency till bitcoin is holding some descent value but if bitcoin falls to bottom then there will be many people who will prefer to quit bitcoins.

I don't think they are going to quit bitcoins easily just because of the down fall of bitcoins and instead of quitting it for sure many are going to see its advantage and many traders are going to buy of bitcoins but that time. Because they are going to believe that even there is falling of price but as long as there are a lot of people who are going to buy, that is going to make the price again to rise.

If the price falls may bitcoin I would still hold. Very reasonable price fluctuations in bitcoin that rise and fall of the fair value of the case. I hold it because I believe the next few months certainly bitcoin prices back up and to restore the situation.

Lucky if that's what's going to happen, to just bounce back. The worst case scenario when the price reached the bottom is the end. Most probably if that happens I could keep the last coin that I have or buy few more if the price is too low, just in case the price bounce back, but most probably that would mean end game for me on earning bitcoin.

I would try to moove into other altcoin, as i do believe even bitcoin being the king, if it fail there are already several crypto coins able to replace it on the same instant he dies, but its possible that almost all crypto fall down with bitcoin as well.

i think of bitcoin as like the main cyrptocurrency, so if bitcoin goes down then i cant really trust cyrptocurrencies so i would definitely leave the digital currency world and stick to usd.

So I don't have choice but to go back to US dollars or my local currency.

If price falls to bottom then we cannot afford to invest blindly in it but we must try to find out the reason behind the downfall as it may not rise again after that and it may bring huge loss for us if we have invested higher amount in it.

A good question though. I am not sure how will i react except being bit sad and waiting for price increase again. I would keep watching the price. if it seems to go more lower, i would better exchange the bitcoins i hold into local fiats. Nothing can be done more. I do not wish that it should happen. Part of me really hangs around this forum for bitcoin but there is a part of me that wants to get in on the ground floor of the next big thing.
Lot of people know this and its the reason ponzi and altcoins are so popular,but I still think a new wave is near for something like virtual reality and people will make a killing.
If bitcoin heads to peanuts I will roll the dice and wait to see if it can breathe new life into its self,if not I lose but the potential to gain feels bigger.

You don't need to believe because you will see the changes and advantage of bitcoin holders than without any bitcoin..
If you are looking for a profit or investment bitcoin is a good investment since bitcoin is gradually increasing and  we will see the chart from before until now..

I would continue to hold the bitcoins i have in my wallet when the price falls to the bottom. I would hope to have a good come back on it. I am sure this is not at all going happen as we have almost reached high. The chance for it is very less. We have come out of struggles. The struggles we had in the beginning would not even mind this fall back. We have kept its flag fly high always.

Yeah and I think if price falls to the bottom then majority of users will prefer to buy them in bigger quantity as everyone has faith in its potential that it will rise again in future.

Would be a awesome if coins came back down I would snatch so.many up and wait for them to pump agian as I believe in the technology and would hold on to alot

Even I will prefer to do the same as I am sure that even if price falls to the bottom bitcoin has an ability to bounce back and it has proved it many times in the past so the best decision would be to buy it to a maximum.

certainly before you think to invest again you have to do the checking of the reasons why bitcoin prices fall and you also have to see the reactions of users if you think bitcoin can last maybe it was a good opportunity for you to buy at a low price bitcoin

Well those might be the time machine every people did wanted to have to be an healty person nowadays, but i dont know how strong bitcoin would be failing to 1 dollar once again, community made bitcoin and keept it alive, if the comunity left bitcoin it will became just another altcoin to bump and dump.

Since bitcoin is very strong currency in cryto world i can not see that it was falling into 1 dollar, and i think bitcoin will continuous to be strong in the future and make us rich if we are continue working on it.

Well let me making analysis about bitcoin's price, i like a title this thread, bitcoin's price will going down be started on November this year. The reason is because of halving block, we could saw last halving block bitcoin's price was went down and i think it will happen again, i use method analysis tecnical for making prediction and history will repeat its self.

Well done. A lot of people here invested in bitcoin is just due to interest and not really invest for profit. So a lot of people here dont equip with the skill to identify market trend or btc trend. TA or QA is important if you treat btc as a form of investment rather than a currency.

I'm 100% sure that the price of Bitcoin wouldn't fall that low overnight. I would've sold my Bitcoins far before it reaches the bottom, honestly. But let's just assume that one day, we woke up and the price of Bitcoin is less than a dollar. There are people who would take advantage of this event and purchase as much Bitcoins as he can since it's really cheap. My Bitcoins would probably be not touched by me at all because I would be waiting for the price to comeback. I wouldn't sell my hardly earned Bitcoins for a couple of dollars.

If that will be instant then perhaps I cant do anything about it. So I will just let it be in my wallet and maybe hope that it can go up again. But if it will be slowly going down then we can withdraw fast enough.

Then I would just quit with Bitcoin because then there is no reason for me to still be trying to make use of it. I would go and look for some thing else.
I do not think that Bitcoin is going to die anytime soon, at least it does not seem like it. 

If it falls to bottom in future then also we cannot afford to take instant decision of quitting it, its better to wait for a while and keep a close watch on its movement and if we feel that it can bounce bank then we should start buying more of them.

I would keep it there hoping that it'll go back. No reason to withdraw $20 or whatever the price would be because it'd be worthless. I'd just wait for the price to increase or.. For it to fail completely.

Then I won't let myself fall with bitcoin. I will find another altcoin, invest, then see if it works.
If there's nothing else that may outrun bitcoin, well, that's the time that I quit.

i think i will sell all of my bitcoin before the price is fall to the bottom and the next thing is i will be become unemployment again like before and maybe i will find another way to make money like what i did with bitcoin.

You will never come to know when it will fall to bottom as it will not give you any prior notice before the downfall and that is the reason it makes bitcoins a very risky investment.

If you see it that way, so you won't ever save bitcoin or hold it in a long time. Bitcoin price ever fall out till around $200 and people thought it the end of bitcoin, but the price rise again. so if bitcoin price would fall to the bottom, I would buy btc as much as I want and wait it rise again like before.

Majority of people will prefer to buy them if that ever happens in future but we should do some research before buying them at that stage and try to find out reason behind the price drop.

I think if bitcoin dropped that down, you need to find out the reason, if it is because being banned by many country or because the security is not strong anymore, i don't think it will be wise to buy it again even though the price is low, then if it is drop that low that's mean the demand of bitcoin is decreasing, then it's mean a lot of user don't trust bitcoin anymore, it can be the end of bitcoin if the price drop that low

Yeah right but as of now we cant say that bitcoin is risky but in the future we could say that but now you cant because lot of people are investing bitcoin and lot of people learning it , earning and using it as in their daily doings so it wont happen. The demand of it is getting rising and it is getting famous.

That's right and if we keep on investing in it without any reason then it would be same like gambling with our own money, either we make profits or loose everything at the end of the day.

we can control price of bitcoin by ourselves. if price drops to bottom then what we can do is, we can invite and motivate bulk traders and investors to buy bitcoin then price Errol rose up again. this is my point of view.

If price ever falls to bottom in future then I will not waste my time and money on it and will prefer to quit bitcoins and will start finding another alternatives from where I can make good money.

Yes and it will continues bitcoin is really good and it is better if bitcoin is increasing so can really earn that fast when we are holding some of bitcoins and if the price drop then lets wait till it increase again.

I will say if Bitcoin's price fall even to half of current prices I am going to pour good amount of money into it. I will immediately buy of at least $ 5000 as this is money what I have prepared actually for such scenario. This thing will not happen anymore and i will need to be happy with my current 10 Bitcoins which are in my possession for long time. When was time I didn't had spare money now time isn't.

If that's going to happen in the near future, I think yes, I would go to the other cryptocurrency and make a new start. It is maybe hard on the first time because you have to adopt the new environment of that coin and the other rules and regulations about it. Before this thing is going to happen, I know that I've already converted some of my bitcoins into cash so that it will not ended up in nothing. I would also going to find a decent jobs to have a new source of income aside from doing other cryptocurrencies task and earnings.

You could  not guarantee to invest large amounts of bitcoin  if   it would  fall down  to the bottom hence you would really hesistate to  buy even  more when you are in such situation and also  if bitcoins  situation  would  be like this then for sure theres a  new crypto would come out which is better compare to bitcoin.

I would buy up so much BTC if the price fell. There will always be a market for BTC, and right now it's too hard for any other digital currencies to compete.

I think the risk will be greater than your chances to profit when prices fall sharply bitcoin there may be many people who will panic.
and perhaps they all would sell all their bitcoin? if it occurs naturally bitcoin will die. and you will be a big loss?

I think the price down on bitcoin is normal, but if the price drop is sharp and make bitcoin bitcoin prices to be cheap of course there are many people who would be disappointed but believe me when everyone survive and wear bitcoin, bitcoin prices will certainly go up again

At first, I will find out what the reason behind the fall of Bitcoin price to the bottom because the fall of Bitcoin price to the bottom seem risky for me to buy large amounts of Bitcoin. That reason will help me deciding what action must I take, either buy it or leave it. ;)

It really depends right now I’m not holding  a lot of bitcoin so I could start over very easily but if it happened when I had good holdings of bitcoin I will probably leave for a while.

first it is very difficult that the price of bitcoin will fell down to the bottom but if it really fell down then i will waif for some time before investing in it.

i will try to buy as many bitcoin as i can, because it will be a termporary down fall and the price of bitcoin will again raise to some high level.

yeah I think sometimes you have to take a big risk to become rich, but make sure first that there are still many people who persist in bitcoin when the price of bitcoin fell enough in, before you buy a lot of bitcoin, because it will provide a great opportunity for bitcoin to go back up

I agree with some opinions that always sells bitcoin when prices fall, and buy when prices rise. But I always hold bitcoin while falling, even until the price starts moving up from below, I will buy as much as possible with a ratio of 70%. I wouldn't sell it when prices fall sharply, I believe bitcoin will not be destroyed.

Then hold my bitcoins and wait for bitcoin to recover. Thats all. Im not gonna panic because we already experienced that. Bitcoin can easily recover and rise even more. And if when thats happen, then it will be a good time to buy because its more affordable. I dont really take it negative. I always look at the positive side.

actually i have no idea for facing these situations but if this is come true i think i would still for bitcoin and would buy it as much as I can

So theoretically speaking, if by the bottom, you mean $0.00001, I would sure as hell buy loads of it. It would be impossible to buy at that price though as, there would be a million other crypto investors in the world with the same idea. So, the price will always bounce back up. I'd buy as close to the bottom as I possibly can, however.

Yes. Therefore, smart people during the panic invest in bitcoins, when there is a massive sale at a very low price. Then they wait for the price to rise to the optimal level, they sell and enjoy profit. Panic is mostly novices who do not have experience in investing.

Most important thing is not to panic. If the price drops down need to buy. After some time the price will go up and you will be on horseback. Or if all sell will be sorry. Remember the story about the pizza?

If the bitcoin price to the bottom, that would be the right price to buy tons of bitcoins. I earn some nice bitcoins on trading but I only follow a simple formula. Buy low and sell high. You should not panic on low prices it will rise if not days or months. Just be patient.

All experienced investors follow this formula and not only when buying bitcoins. Panic at a price reduction is calculated only for inexperienced beginners who will later regret selling and missed opportunities to earn.

Invest money into other cryptocurrencies and also buy up lots of bitcoins at the same time,as Bitcoins can sharply grow in value again.

I would buy a significant amount of Bitcoin if it crashed to the bottom. I think many others would do the same.

I would cry and leave the bitcoins and wait for better times.
