As an answer to your question , you should have a right approach to someone which doesnt even know what is bitcoin. If he/she turns back on you it means he/shes not interested to it and thats the most difficult on convincing them but if they have question regarding to it just answer to all of your knowledge about bitcoin.

to make other people around you to use bitcoin you have to make them understand it fully not only its advantages but also its disadvantages and even show them some live trial or give them some satoshis people like to experiment new things if they are free

I usually advise people to stay away from bitcoin, specially friends and family, because when they get scammed, get their coins stolen or something like that they will be pissed with me, only to my colleges in IT I say to give it a look.

I'll be just explaining the existence of the digital currencies. Then I will point out the advantages our bitcoin have got compared to other digital currencies. Now will insist to give a try and if satisfied continue using else leave it, but someday you'll realize how worthy is bitcoin.

Most people don't find the idea of online business as a legit or formal business. What i do is i first introduced them how an english posts can make such great profit. Just post in english until they gain a ranking method. Then i show my status. It is then that they would ask many questions then i can easily show and at the same time answer there questions.

I simply saying to people bitcoin are like different typ of money In which rate of btc is up nd down at every second. Most of the people are used for make profit. 90℅ activities are done by bitcoin. We can use bitcoin in wallet like bank account for transfer and receiving the money

I convinced two colleagues of mine to try Bitcoin. One of them still uses it. The second one was not tech-savvy enough and he was also a little ignorant. We talked about the economical situation in the world. And both of them were very afraid of it. They argued that there is no vehicle against the central banks and the elite. If they want to destroy our wealth and savings they could simply do it. I argued that there is a way - Bitcoin. That was the way how I brought them to test it.

When anyone ask me what is bitcoin?
So my answer is very simple, Bitcoin is a Cypto currency, and i am using it in investment and get profit and also i am doing work of bitcoin campaign and i have earning very good.
Personally i believe it is not difficult to tell to anyone What is Bitcoin. Difficult is that thing to convince the people to use it. because most of the people don't know about the bitcoin.

People should first aware of crypto technology in order to convince them to bitcoin.
The more people will know about the bitcoins earning process and crypto technology the more they will be attracted towards it.

i think that is not such an easy job. it really need such a hard work. because people do not have time to hear to you. and if they give you some time they hardly believe it.

If anonymity and privacy are important to them, there' s not much convicing needed, lol.

Being a worker abroad, I would just tell my friends that we can send the money to our families in our country using bitcoin. The fee will be lesser and we can send it anytime and anywhere. Aside from that, when we have extra money then we can buy bitcoin and hold it and then when the time comes that our family needed money again, may be its value already rise so we needed a lesser amount of bitcoin to send which means savings for us.

Other than the practical uses for bitcoin, to me the biggest draw right now is the investment potential. I think we are still in the very early stages of bitcoin acceptance and the value has potential to grow a great deal as bitcoin gets discovered by the mainstream population.

sometimes it is not easy to convince other people to start using bitcoin. and no matter how much you try they will stick to their old ways of doing things and continue with their fiat usage.

Youre right its not easy to convince people especially to those person are less educated lets say dont have enough knowledge into things like digital goods or internet related thing does not all people knows internet and some  only knows for internet just for social media they not even try to look unto things that can benefit to them.

I had semi convined a few people to buy into bitcoin just from speaking about it at work so much. this was back when it was at £300 , but as they where going to buy it i said not to bother yet because the price is pretty high and i was worried as soon a they bought it would drop bacdk down to previous lower levels. Not long after that it went up to where it is now, so now they are pissed off with me that i told them not to buy at that time and they dont want to buy now because its so much more expensive than when they first saw it . Its hard to win.

I believe the best way to attract people to anything is give it to them for free. Having the chance to get free bitcoins will automatically raise questions and interest (E.g. Which wallet to use, how to strore them, how to get more...)

This is of course not cheap and someone would have to pay for the free bitcoins.

Bitcoin is worth money. I don't have to convince them, they will regret if bitcoin reach $10.000  :D

They cannot because they would have an angry mob looking for them. Elite know this that's why they are so afraid:  mass surveillance, crack down on occupy (this was not really big scary movement was it?)

I show to my friends that how I am earning from signature campaign some of them adopted bitcoin and rest are still laughing and believe that its an waste of time and money.

Most of people have the same mentality when something new is introduced to them or newly things that they encounter then they  judge easily without even trying it.
same as introducing bitcoin to friends or other people they would not get interest into it since  its their first time to hear of it but you can show them that bitcoin is money.

I firstly give then free gift of satoshi top user. A they can try it, feel it and experience it with exact transaction done on their own wallet. I know this experience is thrilling for newbie. But after showing demo they can understand power of Bitcoins.

I usually tell people that bitcoin is internet money. Or I say it is a one world currency that can easily be converted to your local currency and everything is done on the internet.

People are attracted and addicted to money so if we keep it simple and show them various ways to earn money then it may attract them to start using it.

Bitcoin needs to be explained to people so they know what they are getting into.  the more people that know about bitcoin and understand how they can benefit from using bitcoin, the better off you will be. 

Well i think your right but depends of people how they can understand bitcoin fast.. i think you can teach them first in depositting posting here and be active in forum. and you will earn a lot. .

In order to convince more people to use Bitcoin you have to solve the largest Bitcoin problem: Block size. The blocks are often full, and the transactions delayed. This making sending BTC more expensive, because you have to increase fees in order to get on the next block.

The best way to convince them is to bring them on this forum and show them different ways to earn bitcoin and I am very much sure they will start using it if they find it simple and easy.

i think that is such an easy job you can see them your own progress in bitcoin world and they will easily be moved..

Yeah i agree with you, some people often underestimate the new technology, and prefer to use the old technology. I think people would not be interested if you just explain bitcoin is money. But maybe people will be interested in using bitcoin if you explain in more detail about the benefits that we can find with bitcoin :)

Or post it on your social media accounts. So many people will be interested in cryptocurrency. You must educate them well about importance of having this. Also introduce the ways how to get this and this works.

the best way to convince someone to use bitcoin is show how we are now. with bitcoin we can be more successful and happier. show a strong emotional bond.

if people ask me what bitcoin is, I will simply answer "bitcoin is kind of internet money, currency". if they ask more, I'll explain more.

if you want people to be intereasted in bitcoin, you need to prove them first that bitcoin works. you can buy stuff by bitcoin or you can convert it to money so they can see it.

Thanks! One and two are usually the first things we say about bitcoin but there a lot of digital currencies aside from bitcoin and there are a lot of ways to buy anything electronically aside from using Bitcoin.
What makes it different form other digital currencies is the number three: It is decentralized, number five: It is anonymous and number six: It is completely transparent. :)

Really attractive and convincing points. People will be convinced if they truly analyze and go through it. We have well secured system in place. No need to worry much on protecting the btc you already earned. None can take back. As the currency is moving with everyone, its not required to have a bank to take care of it. Lot can be done with it. If people are made aware of these, seriously they would get convinced by themselves. None is required to do the same so.

It's difficult one, as I have prove it into my office friend. I need some effort to attract their attention by letting them now, that they can earn bitcoin through easy way or using hardware. But there are some factor like if we compare it with gold, their value stability are unmatch !

I don't force or repeatedly insist to start earning as well use bitcoin, because nothing is assured with bitcoin. So later at times situation gets changed. So he might question me, for this I just give basic about the existence and its potential. Later if I found them interested help them to go through different sources and understand it.

That is a good point. Convincing is different from forcing or insisting people to use bitcoin. After we tell them everything about bitcoin, it will be up to them based on how you convinced them. :)

it's really easy, I simply provide evidence of the results that I get from bitcoin, and they will be confident then try it.
I have used this method to convince some of my friends and they using bitcoin until now.

Privacy is a huge point when dealing with bitcoins. I also recommend any friend that got scammed with paypal to move to bitcoins. It is much safer.

I think most people who benefit from using Bitcoin already use o, most ordinary people won't use it because they are happy with using normal currency and have no reason to change. And anyway, Bitcoin is limited in the way you can't spend it everywhere.

Well, to answer your question shortly, put it this way. If you want to explain Bitcoin to someone, you need to know quite a bit about it in the first place. If you don’t know much you may leave out some important points that could have helped to make a new Bitcoin fan. But I think if we all tried earnestly to spread the news around, a lot more people would be into BTC. :)

Actually i dont like to convince people to get hooked into bitcoin since i was to lazy to explain to them not only that some are not interested and youre trying to hard to answer their question and explaining everything and they suddenly leave you and   dont have any interest on it thats why i dont mind in introducing to anyone anymore.

First I was introduced by my friend as to earn online free money and after that when i knew about this forum and i started to earn high, I started to tell my friends about how i am earning online through bitcoin with doing small work and giving my skills for bitcoin payment and some of my friend who are in web designing as today earning very nice income through bitcoin. So like this i have convinced people to use bitcoin and how to earn extra income through online.

but i think in present time it is too difficult to convince a person to use bitcoin because there a panic like situation and in present time i cannot convince him that what is going to the price of bitcoin and when will it stop falling, therefore i think in present time we should remain calm and should not introduce bitcoin to any one and when the price of bitcoin will start increasing i think only then we should introduce bitcoin to our friend so as that there have a good effect on them .

I think if more people new that bitcoins were independent of a government or banks, then they would pay more attention to it. It gives people more control of their money as long as they know how to secure it.

same with the method that my friends approach me, which is simple question " do you want to make money online?" and the next statement from him is " its only take 10 minutes to few hours of your day and you can do it as long as you like and you can set your own free time"

i think many people are staying away for this exact same reason. because it is not controlled by government or banks they feel scared about the legitimate state of it and also seeing the price they feel more scared about their investment in the first look.

That is the one reason for sure and the other reason is they are scared of getting scammed and loosing their money into it as many investments sites are turning out to be ponzi in long run.

A safe, anonymous currency priced at "XYZ USD", with which you can easily trade and transaction, can be operated from any device and has strict secutity measures you can activate to be sure nobody can get your account. I also demonstrate this thing by having them create their own wallet and send them a few satoshis.

Nowadays it's easy to convince people to use Bitcoin as the price increased and stabilized a little bit. I invite some friends to this forum where they can learn a lot about Bitcoin and crypto currencies in general

I always tell people that bitcoin is like real money and you can earn it online, and i tell them, it's more worth to collect bitcoin than collecting pennies on PTC and any else.

Yes that is the right thing to do we need to show them the positive sides of bitcoin and the benefits attached with it and I am sure they will start using it.

I'm recruting friends like I'm making an army, a few of them are here, don't realy know their names tho. But yes, inviting people to join in and eventually they will be bringing people too.

A good initiative to spread the bitcoin. This would really support many unemployed or already employed but do not have enough income to run the daily-hood.

But on the other hand I think we have to tell them is also a shortage of bitcoin itself. For example criminal matters such as fraud. This is so they are also protected from the rampant crime in the world bitcoin. IMO

Everyone wants money for living and if someone who is unemployed will jump into bitcoin as it is allowing him to earn money from it, and even who  are employed can earn extra money with it.

I think bitcoin is not fully created and anonymous, because according to the article I read bitcoin can still be tracked, and the transactions are accessible to the public. Because if it is anonymous bitcoin transactions why still existent service mix bitcoin. And it will not be quite interesting. because I think there are many benefits of bitcoin that could make people interested in using it.

They should be shown how to earn money from it, and I think people are attracted towards money and if they are able to earn extra money from it I am sure they will start working on it.

I think we should keep it simple at primary stage as if you complicate things initially then they will get confused and will hesitate in using it for sure.

I believe it's all about showing what Bitcoin really is. When I talk to people I tend to focus more on what this technology has to give (decentralized/trustless, in terms anonymous transactions and ofc zero taxes). This catches their attention bcs they care about their pocket.  ;)

That's exactly what I've been saying. When promoting BTC, I believe we need to focus more on it's actual price, usage, ways of earning and a little less on the tech stuff like algorithm and scripts, that comes after.  I know that probably will be crying BUT SCRIPTS, SAFETY, GOUVERMENT,DECENTRALIZATION... yeah, but most of the people don't really get interested when they hear that...

The aspects of anonimity are becoming more needed by the day. Don't know where you live but govs around the world want to tax every last cent thus they bring in the debit/credit card funnel (as a neccesity!), sure the answer is bitcoin but for what reason? It's because of the anonimity aspects if this technology! And in an essense,knowledge makes people stronger and wiser.

I;m not saying that it should not be the thing, but it shouldn't come first. Maybe in some countries where the tyranny reigns but otherwise not so much. You should promote it slightly different from country to country, because in USA people will be more drawn to it by hearing something like it's decentralized or anonimous, but in Serbia (Where I'm from) no one cares about that, we don't have that problem like US does, not that big prob so people here are more interested in the ways of earning and spending bitcoin.

Its not easy to convince anyone when its something really new to them but the fact is people wants money and if we show them that they can earn good money from it then they may get convinced to use it.

This only depends on companies paying their employess with Bitcoin. For example if a Western country like Sweden ever had a huge problem with it's currency, I wouldn'tn be surprised to see more and more people using Bitcoin as an alternative before things go back to normal.

Its not that people who are getting salary in bitcoin will only use it, people who are getting salary in fiat and wants to earn extra money can also start using it, most important is how we introduce them to bitcoins.

Convincing anyone regarding  bitcoin would be difficult   especially if they dont have any ideas  on digital stuffs  or other things that are related to interenet because there are some people  doesnt still know  even internet things how much more in bitcoin unless if youre encountering tech geek people then  they surely cope up the ideas  that you would explain to them.

You need to be really a good speaker when you are explaining it to someone as if they find it simple and interesting at initial stage then they will surely start using it.

I agree, it all depends on how you approach and how you explain to them about bitcoin. First you must introduce to them in a correct,simple and precise information about it and they should  understand it easily, dont even try to explain or even try to say complicated words or things because they might not get interested to it if they found  out or heard  it  a difficult thing.

i think its simple, first you should tell you that you are in project, make them curious about what is bitcoin. then you make some bitcoin in front of them, you can choose trading, or whatever you want. let them ask you about what they want to ask, answer with simple and clear, show them that this is not a scam. if its necessary, you can trying to send them amount of bitcoin into their wallet just to show how bitcoin can make simple transaction.

Its not affordable to introduce them directly to trading, show them simple tasks to earn like faucets, captchas and signature campaign and tell them that you can earn extra money with it.

I agree but it may depend upon the person you talk to. Some may be overwhelmed at first with trading so you can introduce micro or small earnings first so they will understand how Bitcoin goes. :)

Having services which give out free bitcoins for some actions definitely helps - that way people can try it out without having to pay. Faucets (https://faucetbox.com/en/list/BTC) are well known, and there are also companies which have promo campaigns that give you free bitcoins, like Waterhole (https://waterhole.io/).

I'll always send/gift then bitcoin. As people will not waste they money and try to use it and I'll tell them the advantages of using bitcoins.

Its not easy to conviced them but i already tried one step because i share my knowledge about bitcoin in my cousin and now they are earning in bitcoin or they are using other services of bitcoin.. if the more you are in your family are using bitcoin the more you can attract more people to join collecting bitcoin or use bitcoin,

Thats a good idea it will work too here in my friends also in facebook giving gift bitcoin small amount to use bitcoin their use bitcoin after i send to to exchange it in load an now they now that bitcoin is just like a money online.. the worst thing is they said that its just like a points that they can get in malls that can exchange in any product or money.

Exactly, its never easy to convince people around you especially when they haven't even heard about bitcoins and whenever I tell them about bitcoins  they start laughing at me that I am wasting my time and money in it, but I am sure that I will be having a last laugh.

A method that I use is to explain it using words and services the listener already knows.  Like, "The wallet is like a wallet and a bank account".  Using words they already know allows the listener to have a loose framework of btc.  Gifting them a few satoshis wouldn't hurt either.  Bottom line, make sure they know that it is money.

How? Simple we will show them how we can earn with bitcoin weekly or even monthly if they can see that where earning good for free well i dont really doubt that they will try it because we surely all know that money can attract people,  also i will explained him very gently on how to avoid those scums and where he can do exciting trade wars and do some nice talks about bitcoins itself.

True, its very hard to convince people especially to those person dont have  any idea on techy things for sure they would laugh at us same  thing  happened to you. You are right  , in the last  we are laughing because  we are earning money and they missed the opportunity  on gaining money too.

I try to convince my friend to use bitcoin because he wants to earn money online and now he has more bitcoin than me.

It is not required to convince anyone to learn or earn btc. Its more enough to explain the benefits of btc. Anyone will surely turn towards bitcoin and start knowing and earning it.

Maybe some of  people you convince  would surely follow your path since you  explained to them about bitcoin precisely. Convincing people  isnt really hard   especially to those people who have already idea on internet things  or shall we say tech geeks because they would really cope up the things easily on what you explain since bitcoin is a digital currency.

i've been tried this method and it's really work, i always giving my friends bitcoin by held a giveaway, for those who didn't know bitcoin before i teach them how to set up new wallet, how to  using it, and transactin with bitcoi so far they used that amount for top up their internet connection , some of them get in to the bitcoin by trading or open a service that related with bitcoin.

very simple I convince someone to use bitcoin. I just said you can get a lot of money from bitcoin and they become curious and try it.

In relation to what you mention as the transaction fees being miniscule, I guess this would be the one that would convince my friends to use bitcoin. Being an overseas worker, we always send our family and relatives some money once or twice a month and a minimal transaction fee would be a big help because it would mean bigger money that our family and relatives will received. Not having the need to go to a money exchange after work is just a relief and sending money anytime and anywhere whenever we wanted is favorable for us.

Money transfer is one of the benefits  on using bitcoin, as you said  the transaction fee is small compared to bank or  other   remittances out there and also the   transaction time on transfer  is more faster  and its just a matter of click and  you dont be hassled in lining up just to transfer funds to your family especially when you are in abroad. Bitcoin  is really a big help with this matter.

That's true bitcoin is really the best when it comes to money transfers as it involves minimum fees and its far better in compare to other payment systems.

That is all benefits of bitcoin we can easily transfer money all over the world using bitcoin.. also we can use it in online service online paying bitcoin to some site.. even they are few stores online i hope that more site will be accept bitcoin as payment.

Using Bitcoin as a tool to send payments from point A to point B is the best when it comes to speed and the very low cost.

But if people are looking to cash out their coins to fiat, then things look different as the fee structure will take up at least 0.5-1% of the total transaction value.

It does have difference but the fee in exchanging btc to fiat  isnt big afterall and you wouldnt feel it when everytime you exchange i guess. Bitcoin has many usefull things not only on transfering funds but all its accessibility  to do transactions fast like buying something online by the use of  bitcoin it really gives us convenience.

%1 as fee for converting BTC to fiat might not look like much, but with large amounts it will add up.

If you cash out $10,000 worth of BTC, then 1% is $100 in fees that you will lose.

And if you do a lot of such transactions in a month, then you might come close to $1000 in fees in a month.

All options are better but i found one or more whether it btc don't try to attract people .
Its price changes sharply time to time so we can trade and hold for profit .

Those were definitely good points. Bitcoin is somewhat similar to gold because it is mined to be produced and definitely no taxes included because Bitcoin is never connected to the government. :)

not when you tell them right about bitcoin and guided how to be careful when using bitcoin. one thing that is very important teach them how to get bitcoin. all done and they are will interested to use bitcoin.

.explaining bit coin  is not very difficult . But convincing  the other people to use bitcoin that  is very difficult. Because some people are not interested on what bitcoin is .they don't  know what is the advantage of using bitcoin and they didn't know bitcoin can help to our daily expenses .and that's the reason why I'm using bitcoin. 

As if you are  a very rich person since you almost withdraw  almost $10000 which is  a very big amount already how much more if you do it 10x a day then you are truly rich even you spend %1 in each transfer you wont  matter anyway that amount since you own lots of money and it cost less compared to other transfers, right?

When you live in a country where people haven't access to international cards (like mine), convincing become very easy : show the person that you can buy products from anywhere by using Bitcoin => the next step will be answering to his questions and learning him where to begin from

This is not a valid for all all people. In many countries, Gold is tax-free when you hold it for some time. Only short-term trading is charged with taxes.
But short-term trading is probably not the reason for many to buy Gold or Bitcoin.

I think the easiest one to convince people to use bitcoin is tell them that you can earn money by using bitcoin. They will ask your more and you tell them step by step and i'm sure they will interest.

Firstly i want to clear it work in a 2 or 3 levels,
1. High level
2. Low level
3. Publicity in both level
If we follow the rules than it work make easy for us and also for bitcoin. High level mean it is government level and low level mean, you and me can do something for bitcoin and if we do something for bitcoin than definitely everyone know about it.

I'm not sure if I want to convince people to use BTC. Although I've found my investments into BTC very profitable so far, I can't ignore the risk that people take when they invest into cryptocurrency. It should be their decision and responsibility to use BTC. I can help them make a good decision by doing my best to help them understand this cryptocurrency and share my experience with them.

Believe me, even for wealthy people that 1% is a lot and not something they will easily let go. Especially when you are dealing with large amounts.

And what other transfers are you talking about that it cost less?

yeah it actually is a huge fee if you transfer big amounts of money and exchange it, and if people dont like using bitcoins you shouldnt convince them

He mean that bitcoin transfer cost less compared to others as you read his post carefully. I agree even those wealthy ones  do even hurt with such  transaction fee  especially on large amounts. like on the example $10000 money transfer and  the fee is $100 which is really huge and you could already do things with that.

I talk with my friends in the social media sites and offline about Bitcoin and explain them its powerful features , some of them get curious and started already using Bitcoin

I do what exactly what you do but the problem my friends didnt convince that bitcoin is money and they said that bitcoin is scam..
but i tried to other people that if i said that they can earn money they are interested. i think if you promote that you can earn money in bitcoin maybe many people will be attracted to use bitcoin..

To convince people, you need to show them how profitable this is. And this works best with cases and graphs.

It depend on what type of person  would you to convince since not all people do even know or heard bitcoin in the firstplace then it would a little bit hard to convince someone maybe  to those someone whos a little bit tech geek for sure they would easily cope up regarding to the things that you try to explain to him/her.

They say that this might end up in nothing, I say this is a revolution.
They say I will lose my money doing this in the end, I ask them to join me and get into the train while they still can.

Unfortunately people have a lot of misunderstandings re: to the technology. Many people think its some esoteric BS that only hackers use.  Right now most the mainstream press re: to Bitcoin is negative.  The best way to get people to use it is to have a clear understanding of it yourself for both the advantages and disadvantages.  Use the technology and support it, education and outreach is what is most needed.

But also understand, your Grandmother probably isn't interested and that's OK.  Talk to people who want to listen and learn more, don't attempt to force it down someone's throat.

Because people have already had their minds set to the old culture we had. And the main reason why they misinterpret this stuff is that it has the use of deeper understanding in the Net itself or maybe they are already contented on what they have right now.

You're right, don't force people to do this kinds of stuff but in fact let them see what can it do.

Actually I am facing the same problem, people around me are not interested in learning something new so when I tell them about bitcoins they don't show any interest and simply ignore  it.

That is actually not your fault because they are the one who miss the opportunity to earn and change their lives, if people will not adopt he will not be subject for the risk and he will also not be rewarded in case bitcoin will be successful and will be a dominant online currency.

You cannot really convince people to start using a different currency.

If you really want too, show them your wallet...explain how Bitcoins work and the benefits of using them. You might even want to show different websites that already use Bitcoin as a payment processor as trust is the key here. If someone sees a well known company is accepting Bitcoin payments then they may be more inclined to start using it themselves!

I did the same thing I showed them all possible ways of earning bitcoins and the basics of bitcoin but they found it complicated and said that they are satisfied with their day job and stock trading.

Yah, showing the benefits of bitcoins to the new users may bring them to this forum. This is how i was impressed and came to this forum to know more about bitcoins and its benefits. Bitcoin has lifted more lives. Many are happy at joining in this community.

There are different types of people. There are some who do not care about stuffs like this and there are some like us who easily get fascinated with digital or web technologies, especially with cryptocurrencies. :)

I think the best way is to share a video about the history about bitcoin and before sharing tell them why you're using bitcoin and it's chances to get appreciation in the value. If somebody has no interest in technical stuff I think it makes no sense to try to convince him to use bitcoins.
I think shop owners have the best position of all to convince people who might be interested into using bitcoins.
They could advertise to people who use their shop with a little bonus if they pay with bitcoins.

It depends on the interest of person and how you explained about bitcoin to them. If this thing would caught up to their interest then its possible that they would jump or  learn already about bitcoin. People have different  interest  on  anything some may like  and some may not but still its not bad to share about bitcoins usefullness to others.

Explaining its benefits would be very much satisfying a new user to use the bitcoins. This benefits have brought many into this forum. Many started their career here and living up their lives with the bitcons they earn from this forum. This is like a part payment. Though they depend on their main jobs and main income, they do come into this forum often and earn bitcoins from signature campaigns. The bitcoins they earn are more satisfying their families.

Most of us see BTC as an investment, not a currency.. It's a big problem that teens and newcomers are looking at BTC like that. My brother used to not give a flying damn about bitcoin. I told him that he doesn't need to use his credit card or bank account to buy a domain name and instantly he started to listen. Today exactly this thing happened to me. I wasnt paying attention these years for cryptocurrencies, i was trading regular currencies, stocks etc. I went on coffe with my friend and he showed me this Poloniex where he trades crypto. I was impressed to see how many currencies are there and he started by explaining how they works, how they pop, how they sell, convert into dollar, bitcoin. He explained me about possible future without currencies, only crypto, decentralization of financial system. I was amazed, and immediately he showed me this website so i can do some research myself. I spent now whole day researching topics about crypto, it is quite amazing, alternative financial system. Main issue with informing someone about this is that people wont listen, many people still dont believe in making money through pc/web, they wanna evidence. Not talks, just evidence, proof, show them your profit. Worked with me, now im here.

It's depend on the people, if the people that i want convince is jobless and want earn money so bad, it will be more easy to convince them to use bitcoin, because you also can earn money with bitcoins.

People with basic knowledge with online transaction are easier to convince as they are more open minded than other people who have no idea and have never heard of online transaction, therefore it is really hard to attract the majority of the people but despite of that bitcoin will still grow as expected.

Not sure why would you low-key manipulate someone into using Bitcoin. Just tell him the fundamentals of Bitcoin and then ask him if wants to use it or not. Don't convince him. Personally I try to teach it to the people who were in hard need for money. Because one who is already with lots of earning hesitate to take part even if they were insisted with all advancements of digital currency. Are you sure this is the way we should teach everyone around us about Bitcoin? If we want it to have even more success, we have to tell people about the CURRENCY part of it. Speaking to others about business doesn't always work, as most of us are lazy and won't even try to do something about it. We're being taught wrong about Bitcoin's uses, Bitcoin should be a currency first of all.

The problem is that the majority of people still see Bitcoin as a joke.  Many people think it's some kind of scam.  Even now when I talk about it to friends, they laugh at me and think I'm crazy. If no one takes it seriously, it doesn't do much good.

yes this is what i did to get two of my friends into bitcoin. i taught them how to set up a wallet on their desktop and cell phone and asked them for their bitcoin address and then sent them $15 to get them going so they can see how bitcoin works.
also don't forget to show then where they can spend these coins because that is the whole point :)

and as for seeing it as MLM is not their fault, it is mainly because many have seen bitcoin first time when someone was trying to fool them into signing up under them in an MLM scam just to gain the referral commission.

Thats a good way to go about it but it wont be hard convincing people to try new thing aside someone who is already on the quest just needing someone to show the way but the issue is the bereaucracy in getting it into FIAT and thats what people are interested in. Another is the perception they already have that so far its not FIAT of any country then it will be illegal this added to the effort you are to encounter before then one probably needs to just keep to himself. Yes I agree with you that everyone wants free money but what about the perception that they might have concerning the currency itself and how much bitcoin are you willing to give to actually change that perception but it will actually be cooler if one can find someone who is already curious and just needed a touch bearer and everything becomes easy.

Firstly,Personally i believe that it's not so easy convince someone.Here my next step I will point out the advantages to use bitcoin because most of the people don't know about the bitcoin.So I simply saying to people bitcoin are like different type of money means Cypto currency using it in investment and get profit. In which rate of BTC is up and down at every second just like of share market.

The first thing I do whenever I'm convincing people to use bitcoin is that, I'm telling them about what bitcoin is, where to use it, how to use it, earn it and so on. Then after that they are going to ask more about it and after you've told them enough about the questions that they have asked you about bitcoin they will try doing bitcoin like posting on this forum. And after that if they found that bitcoin is boring they will quit on doing it in just a blink of an eye. It's hard to ask for someone to stay by your side if that someone didn't love you in the first place. It goes the same on bitcoin, it is hard to convince someone to do it if they are not interested on it and not dedicated to do it. They will just gonna waste their time.

I don't know about people, but I went to my friend once...
He asked me what do I do??? I said I write articles and get paid in Bitcoins...
He asked what??? I said Bitcoins... He said what's that???
Then I started explaining him briefly about bitcoins and convinced him to start using it, and he is now a member here too... :)

i just explain them what is bitcoin and how we can earn or spend them i am just following the same pattern of bitcoin's offical site. i know many peoples are dumb and stupid and passes many comments to save the reputation of their dear banks

Yeah same here that i explain it well and i show them that bitcoin is money and how to earn bitcoin. so that if they join here in our forum they can learn more about bitcoin and they can offer this bitcoin to other people.. or friends..

Simple. Tell them they can buy anything, and I mean anything online with bitcoin, and the government can't tax it or track it if they know what they are doing.

We should make sure that we keep things simple at primary stage and don't complicate things, we can bring them to this forum and show them how are earning from signature campaign.

The thing is if a person you are teaching has no idea with the online transaction, it would not be easy for them to understand about bitcoin it is an online thing, in addition there are still people in this world who does not even know what is computer or don't have an idea about internet.

You have a point,  convincing people about  bitcoin would  be hard  especially to those people  who lack knowledge  especially on online stuffs as same as you said. If  you would try to explain about bitcoin to them for sure they  would  be confuse since they  dont even  now  how internet works.

There are people  who didnt even  know  how to use  smartphones and even computers and  even they dont  know how  to surf the  net as of these  high tech days and thats reality thats why  its a big  problem  for full adoption  on bitcoin throughout the world.

That's great, i actually also used to tell my friends about it and i told them i earn money online so they said if how and where i do that, and then i explained bitcoin and this forum to them so they said it is really great if i can do that and they would probably do it too if they could.
