Being a worker abroad, I would just tell my friends that we can send the money to our families in our country using bitcoin. The fee will be lesser and we can send it anytime and anywhere. Aside from that, when we have extra money then we can buy bitcoin and hold it and then when the time comes that our family needed money again, may be its value already rise so we needed a lesser amount of bitcoin to send which means savings for us.
I agree That would be easy to do but convincing them to actually use it may be really different. I was trying to look cool for my brother who is working abroad and told him to use bitcoin and he was like "bit what? no don't make me register to all those shit" lol maybe one day he'll realize i wasn't kidding when i said bitcoin is the future. Lol that happens mostly when you first time talk to someone about it, to me also when i used to tell my friends that i'm earning money online they said what? come on! dont waste your time with all that, but today when they see me cashing out the money they know what they said was really wrong. |

You have a point though but it would really depend on their interest since people have different interest in life might like complicated or easy things. Telling the good side of bitcoin is a nice part of yours but if he ask you is he going to lose money ? if he done trading or investing what are you going to say? bitcoin is not like a machine that you could earn 100% and there are no risk you are facing off ofcourse there are chance that you gonna earn and you gonna lose. what you are misinterpreting here is that he and also the most other people here are talking about using bitcoin not earning bitcoin. so the argument here is far from an investment and it is a good option because when you use bitcoin you only think about benefits of using it like anonymity, security and the low fees you get when using it not trading and earning through bitcoin! |

For me to convince them is to see your results or your earnings especially cash out ,because usually they don't belive if you don't make them to see that you hold your money in your hands.
Exactly, with me that is the case as well because before i cashed out my money even my family maybe thought that i'm just wasting my time but i wont get anything out of it but when they saw it really works they were convinced with it and started asking me a lot about it. |

But about OP i am not convincing the people to use it, i show my work with my friends than they ask me what is Bitcoin? than i explain them, i think it is best way, if you show your work and than definitely people ask you.

Are you sure this is the way we should teach everyone around us about Bitcoin? If we want it to have even more success, we have to tell people about the CURRENCY part of it. Speaking to others about business doesn't always work, as most of us are lazy and won't even try to do something about it. We're being taught wrong about Bitcoin's uses, Bitcoin should be a currency first of all. |

Maybe we need to give them some satoshi like 0.01 for each person to use it. yes this is what i did to get two of my friends into bitcoin. i taught them how to set up a wallet on their desktop and cell phone and asked them for their bitcoin address and then sent them $15 to get them going so they can see how bitcoin works. also don't forget to show then where they can spend these coins because that is the whole point  and as for seeing it as MLM is not their fault, it is mainly because many have seen bitcoin first time when someone was trying to fool them into signing up under them in an MLM scam just to gain the referral commission. |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

Just tell them that all you need to make payments with BTC is to have a BTC address and the whole simplicity it provides which is why I really like it

I think it's depend on the people that you want convince. If that people is a jobless and want to earn money, you can easily convince them. Because with bitcoin, we can earn money too.
People don't really want them to convince let them show some interest on bitcoin and thats the right time you gonna teach them about crypto currency and you will appreciated what you already thought to them because you will see the result that they really learn on what you thought to them i like this the most. |
