It's not legit.  Not helpful.  There's no way anyone can tell whether the reviewer has or hasn't played the game.

We've had some really great reviews, thank you!  A few people have started reviewing, but only 2 have completed the 5 reviews for the $20 Steam GC so far.  So I still have 3 gift cards left to give out.

I visited satoshi.direct and it looks nice, but I have one complain. The price is listed only in BTC and ideal option would be dollar/btc display.

Thanks for your message.  We've been very concerned that people didn't know they could change the currency (USD, EUR, AUD, GBP, JPY etc).  We placed a small note under the price on the product pages.  Let me see if we can make it more noticeable and also add it to the collection pages.

Your prices are a bit high- prices are all over the place; Overwatch is definitely cheap, but headphones and steam gifts are massively higher than on many other sites; i actually expected a discount with Bitcoins, but it didn't happen. Still a great site, i'm going to write a few reviews for you guys. It'd be nice if you provided some more steam GCs, I feel 20$ is a lot and if you could add 50, 100 and maybe even 1 and 5- that'd be great.
If you guys would consider paying in pure BTC i'd be a bit more interested, but I want a few copies of CS:GO for smurfing. :)
Also, if you could add No Man's Sky- that game is amazing, and i currently have a cracked version and i'd be willing to buy on your site.

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback.  Pricing is definitely high on our list, we know it's all over the place.  We're considering adding a name your price feature.  What do you think?  Would it be valuable to be able to ping us from the product page and tell us the price you'd pay for a product?

The Steam GC's campaign is very expensive.  This campaign is to help us get valuable feedback from the community and to get us noticed.  I imagine we'll do something more with GC campaigns in the future, but I need to do a deal with a wholesale supplier so it's not quite so expensive.  Look for a similar campaign around the Holiday season.

Hi @Daffadile we just paid out another coupon.  So far we've given out 14 coupons from $5 - $50 in this campaign and 9 of those coupons have already been used.

That'd be a great feature to add, especially if you're planning on getting more traffic - I've already shown the site to a few people and they all agree pricing is really what makes the site not as attractive as others. Other than that, great work!

On a sidenote, how long do the gift codes last?

Yes and yes.  In the true spirit of Bitcoin and the blockchain, we're doing our best to build a business that sees no borders.  We have distribution deals with distributors in US, UK, EU, China and Russia (logistics are getting a bit hectic  :D ).  Most of our gaming headsets will ship direct out of China.

We have plans to begin updating each product with "shipped from" and estimated delivery time info.  That will take some time to collect and roll out.  Overnight we backed out over 4,000 products, removing them from our site, so we can follow new internal quality control processes.  This info should be added to our processes soon.

Our site is still very much in beta mode and we're implementing updates and feedback daily.  Don't hesitate to contact me here in the thread, PM, Messenger on our fb page, or our Contact Us page.

I have actually played and collected and went through many many games ( thousands )
to find the best ones. The is a lot of crap on the android google store and most are not really games just silly mobile games. I try find console quality actual games. For example I will fond nova3 , Avalon or mass effect. Rather then clones of tower defense games and clash of clans clones. Those aren't really games they just time killers. Most games on the play store are simply time wasters. Will send you some good reviews soon of games I have actually played and played a lot of. Most are online muplitplayer games. Does it give you digital code or it send you the disc that has the game code on it?

Hi, it does give you the digital code.  The system is automated and delivers after BitPay confirms payment, this has happened in about an hour.  HOWEVER, we are working through an API issue with our wholesale distributor right now so key deliveries will be delayed.  We should have the issue fixed within 24-48 hours and when we do the keys will deliver automatically within 15 minutes.

We're working hard to make the site better every minute of every day (even at 2:08am).  Sorry for an temporary delivery inconvenience.

i just purchased arma 3, they send me the game code after paying it on bitpay and i activate it on steam client it went smoothly. . i just dont know if you have choice if you want physical copy or just digital copy. but for me i ask for the code and i got it.

Games are all digital delivery.  We use a legitimate wholesale distributor that is a legitimate part of the industry and has a booth at Gamecon this year.

We are negotiating a better distribution deal with another wholesaler for Steam, Xbox Live, etc gift cards.  Hopefully we will complete the retail verification process in the next week or two.  I wonder whether the community would prefer these to be delivered digitally (within 15 minutes) or as a physical gift card???

No not yet.  I love the idea, and it's on our roadmap but we have to reach a certain sales volume before we have the ability to implement it with ShapeShift.  If we have strong support from the community, I am hopeful that we can have this implemented by the end of the year.

I'd like to make a sincere request of the community.  If you notice an issue with our site, please notify us rather than exploit it. ??? We're hackers, I get it, but we'd be happy to give coupons as bug bounties.  As it is, one of us found an issue and did exploit the system, not only causing financial loss, but an administrative issue that will cause a delay for the next 48 hours for anyone trying to purchase a game key. :( it wouldn't take too many more hits like this before we'd quickly be out of funds and out of business.  :-\

I can confirm these guys are legit- I purchased a copy of CS:S with a 10$ coupon and it was delivered within 2 minutes! Glad to see prices have gone a bit down, their steam game key codes are cheap and I'll probably buy from them in the future. Unfortunately, like they've said, you'll probably get a wait time of up to 24 hours due to an issue, but I haven't experienced anything and it looks like everything will be resolved pretty soon. Don't see why anybody would exploit a site like this... :(

Yes definitely!  The reviews promo is good until the end of the month, but please see updated OP and posts above, reviews are good for single $5 coupons.  (x number of reviews = x number of $5 coupons.)  Coupons can't be combined.

• Make search more visible.  We use blue to highlight important information on the site and are testing a blue search icon to see if it helps users locate the search function.
• We implemented instant game key delivery.  (Though we have experienced some growing pains as we've worked out some bugs.)

I know, thank you. Out of 2,200 visitors to our site, yours was our only retail purchase in the entire month of September. I budgeted to run the site for a full year. Healthy ecommerce sites convert 1%-2% of visitors to a sale. I was looking for a 0.25%-0.5% sales rate to continue, because it is a new site. What we received was a 0.04% rate. So our test was not successful. And that's ok, like trading you have to be willing to cut your bad trades. Yes it's emotional to make this decision, we put a LOT of effort into this site over the last four months, but we can't let emotions make our decisions for us.
