Jaxx.io is wallet for bitcoin,ethereum,dao and will support for dash coin wallet and it can be used on computers and smartphone. I don't understand why is not support for ETC?

I think DASH more decent, just look at it as DASH older than ETC

Okay but maybe they have some reason for supporting dash, they think dash is better than etc, just my opinions, but discussing it with their customer.

dash is a more stable coin and a much more better idea than etc. ETC is an overhyped stuff imo.

So? It is their own wallet so they are setting up their own rules. Maybe they don't like centralized and intrusive management of ETH/ETC?
I am not complaining that blockchain.info or Xapo is only accepting bitcoins or not ETH, DASH or DOGE.

May be they will add ETC later however nobody knows why they choose dash to be added in their supported coin list. ETC will require lots of time to get community and developer support before it get enough attention from users and wallets.

There's too much going on in the world of Ethereum right now. For stability's sake it would be better for Jaxx to stay away from ETC. It won't be nice to be caught in the middle of a crossfire.

ETC is just a product of hard fork and i think it is not a stable alt coin unlike dash coin. Dash is much stable and i will vouch that this coin has a good features and a very well known devs. I don't know what your reason to compare ETC to DASH seems dash coin is a well known coin and have a good reputation on market.

Just updating informations, today there is wallet for ETC on jaxx.io and it is support for android devices. I have made updated my jaxx's app on playstore and it went work. Finally jaxx support for ETC on android.  :D

So i think now my search for multicoin wallet ends with jaxx, never tried their mobile wallet soon gonna install it now.

I think yes, they have be listened my wish  ;D jaxxio is more complete for multicoins, there are bitcoin,dash,dao,eth and etc. It will make more comfort for me and you must try it too.

Only keep Bitcoin on a phone wallet that you are prepared to lose. Back it up with 2 factor non SMS Authy. (2 factor SMS is not secure if your phone service provider forwards your number to the hackers without your permission) like ATT and Tmobile did to me last week!! The rest, keep in a vault or on multiple hardware wallets like Trezor or ledger.

Jaxx wallet is a new wallet in the market,but I'm beginning to like it because of the ease of use and it's security features,maybe they will add new more coins in the future,hopefully those that are in the top 20 in the market,they are the most used coins.

Why jaxx don't add XMR ???

Jaxx wallet is a kid on the block we will see many improvements and many new coins added here I also want xmr added  here and hopefully we can have ten coins in this multi wallet in the future.

I think Jaxx will add more platform to their support because at the beginning every platform will support only a few reputable coins in order to secure in the market. But they will start listing few more coin which is reputable in the market, even new coins like credit bit also supporting it that they are going to list their wallet in Jaxx.

i think it true, because you can export your key from jaxx, nobother wallet online can do that..remember !!! dont use freewalet.org on your mobile, i ever get trouble when i used them..my zcash did not sync for 4 days, that is a horrible thing..

Oh, really bad news. And only few days ago I decided to use Jaxx to keep some my altcoins. Good that so far I didn't moved it Jaxx wallet. I think now it would be best to avoid Jaxx, because fhey aren't planning to fix vulnerability.

Stop spreading FUD. There's no vulnerability. Users must be in control of their devices, like with the wallet in their pocket.
That is the last of status of official jaxx on Twitter, they said we must control our funds on there, that is bad news for users who use jaxx. The answers is not solution for this problem. :D

I actually like Jaxx.io because it is safe and you can download them on you laptop as an offline wallet as well. Though the fee is kind of high compared to other wallets it is worth it despite it all and I feel secured using this wallet. I am planning to transfer my bitcoin too in this wallet because they said they will support the split.

And we should respect those reasons, we can not just barge in and question them why they don't have this certain coin that is why there are rival wallets. you are not the only one who is waiting, it sucks, its now 2 Weeks after hard fork and they said the last week they need some more time but no more detailed info how long as much percent they need more... since 2 days there ist no reply by the supporting team to any question, not on twitter neither on the jaxx official subreddit! People are getting disappointed and it makes me feel uncomfortable using their wallet as a btc-hodler...

Found out Jaxx through facebook, got curious and downloaded the app easy to use and have good alts what I love about it is you can use is through desktop and with your smart phone. The best part it's continuously developing :)

I think Jaxx.io will add all the main assets step by step, but I suggest you to store your coins by local wallet, that's safer.

It may become the best in the future but it's sure as s**t ain't now. It's been 4 weeks since btc/bch fork and still no bch wallet lol. They keep saying "very soon" , "almost done" for past three weeks on their twitter account. I want to burn that joint down. Two more weeks till Ledger nano new patch hits the market and then I'm gone.

It will support ETC and also a lot of main coins one day, just wait. For personal suggestion, store your currencies in local wallets is the safest.

There is bad news for PAY coin related with jaxx.io. Cryptocurrency wallet providers often integrate support for additional currencies over time. Jaxx, best known for their wallet service, is unsure what to do. While they signed the New York Agreement, their official stance is more ambiguous. There is no “official decision on supporting SegWit2x. A very odd statement, considering they vowed to support it. Do keep in mind this doesn’t mean they won’t support it. Looks like Segwit2x has lost yet another major supporter. This was always going to happen when one leaves, the others have doubt. I am not a supporter of either Segwit2x or not, but my leaning is always with the majority economy. Therefore, that looks like core (original) at the moment. Either way, I am not affected by Jaxx decision. If it supports the coin I use along with other alts, I use it. No politics and agenda behind my decisions.

Yes every one can makes desicions to support SegWit2x or not, use service of jaxx.io or not, there are no one who compel to other person, everything base on the Thought each and i don't have agenda behind my post. ;D
Sharing new updating of jaxx.io is not something illegal activity on here, it will help the user's jaxx to prepare the desicions about the activation of SegWit2x on bitcoin.

Atleast, presence of jax.io makes easy for bitcoin holders. So, the need for mobile wallet becomes fulfilled. To be the best, I don't know yet. But, it will be an alternative wallet that is widely used in my opinion.

Attention! You can’t use any cryptocurrency exchange wallet addresses like Coinbase, Bittrex, Poloniex, Kraken, Globitex, imToken, Jaxx, Coinomi etc. Transferring ETH from these wallets will result in an irreversible loss of ETH!

Compatible wallets: MyEtherWallet, Mist, MetaMask or other ERC20 token standard compatible wallet to which you hold your private keys!

i submited my jaxx adress on airdrops and now i worry that i will not get some coins.. but when i login with private key in myetherwallet is see some tokens..

do i need worry or use another adress in future?

Maybe Jaxx.io does not accept some of these coins because the website probably because it does not support some of these coins. It may not accept their standards so that's why it is only limited to only some of the coins. But actually I use Jaxx.io and I like the app, I even download the app through my laptop too.
