I get paid with bitcoin, and when I do get paid with fiat I immediately exchange it to bitcoin.

I try my best to get paid in bitcoin but it is currently not that well known in ireland and most people have not heard of it.  i do get some each week from sig cam[aign which is great, its a great campaign also.  ;D

I earn bitcon with signature campaigns and trade them for altcoins.I also invest in ICO if i am confident about their genuineness.I believe investment is the best choice when you have less coins as it gives an opportunity to grow your coins.If they dont grow,your loss would be little atleast

Are you investing your money on Bitcoin?  Some yes, but I'm a stock market investor primarily.  I do love bitcoin, however, and I would definitely consider myself a bitcoin investor.  Not a big one tho.

You earn money with Bitcoin?  No.  That's like asking if I'm earning money with the silver coins I own.  The only way I earn money with bitcoin is if it appreciates in value.  I'm not into lending it out or investing in these bogus securities that are offered on this forum.

I think this is to answer your first and last question. In terms of investing my money, my answer is no, not really. I've just invested my time, effort and skills (if needed) that's why I have bitcoin now. I'm earning it on different ways, mostly by doing services and joining campaigns here in the forum.

For the second question, yes, I do buy online using bitcoin especially using the bitcoin wallet here in our country. I can buy loads, steam game's credits, gift cards, reserve bus tickets, pay bills and many more (haven't tried buying physical things like gadgets though).

I always see the people is always making a useless question like this and I think is not need any answer for that because that is already answered in a lot previous topic but if this answer will become your researching I think will be better but if that has just become a spam I think not giving any appreciate about this. :-[

Most of us here in bitcointalk that have been staying online for a year had already learned or can learn how to spend money online through paypal or bitcoin.
I am expecting bitcoin to be used widely by people in the next few years sand so I'm saving a lot of bitcoin this time and spend some as well for my needs.

I think exchanging all the times is not favourable because sometimes the rate is high and sometimes low. So try to avoid such situations and rather exchange only when rate is low so that you could sell your bitcoin when rate is high. By such logical thinning you could make some extra bucks  Like I do.

i have bought bitcoin starting from last year (a year and a half) ago when price was at the lowest and i have been buying bitcoin with my money ever since.

Right now I am taking my Bitcoin and either saving or exchanging it for right now, since I don't want to do much with what I have until the market starts doing something and I get the ability to figure out where I want to potentially spend my Bitcoin. For right now the value could go up or down, and basically anything can happen based on what the market has done so far, so there is no need to rush into anything.

When I started here in cryptoworld I never try to buy bitcoin that I get into my pocket. I usually did is joining in the signature campaign where I am confident to their project, sometimes I invested too. First, I invest money on bitcoin because I believe that it will have a significant value in the future that people will just treat it as an ordinary currency like how we treat fiat today and I use it in trading also. I bought bitcoin so I guess that tells I am already invested. This profit that I get from signature campaigns are addition to my other incomes in which I am paid in dollars but still I exchange that for bitcoin so more addition to my investment until the times comes when I will collect if my predictions would be real that it would go up.

Bitcoin itself is an investment so even if he is not doing anything with his coins and holding it then also he can get some profits in future when price will go higher.

   I didn't invest my money into blockchain, all I do at the moment is gathering coins and learning about this new technology. I would like to make enough for some good investment, and with that investment to make some good money. For now amount I gathered is not big, I need more time, and I need to work much more, but I'm afraid of investing my hard earned coins. Do not invest in any ponzi sites, if you are looking for descent profits then invest in trading site, but before investing update yourself with trading trends and market scenario.

Only hold the bitcoin in long term is an investment to. I do trade with my bitcoin wich I think this is the most challenging way to earn bitcoin.

Holding will give bitcoin users profit if even by any means, people will continously to accumulate coins at any possible way.

When people preferred to hold than to trade, make sure that they are adding coins on hold and not to hold only a fixed quantity of coins. Holding will just increase the value of the coins but the coins on hold will remain in numbers.

i use the currency aspect of bitcoin for sending and receiving transactions. the investment aspect for trading purposes. store of value aspect for long term storage of my money. that's how i am using bitcoin.

There are multiple usage of bitcoins, you can use it as a currency to buy things online, you can also use it for money transfer with minimum fees and you can also multiply them with trading.

That's good, its good to sell your coins for fiat when you are in need of money and  that is the purpose we are earning it, but make sure you also save some part of it for the future.

Our idea is great but the big problem is a legitimate company are operating with the rules of the government, since bitcoin is not regulated it is hard to integrate in their system, there will be a tax issue that will going to arise and legitimate businesses does not want to complicate with that matters due to big penalties that will be impose to them.

I invested a small sum of EUR "probably a hundred or so" to get started with BTC, I mainly have it as a holding and investment method, daytrading with the EUR value of BTC and sometimes buying items (in this forum) using BTC.

I am holding on to my Bitcoin, that means that I am waiting for the value of the Bitcoin to go up again but when it will happen is something I do not know.

Yeah the best way to do with your coins is try to grow them and the only way to do it is by trading, and if you cannot afford to risk them then simply hold them for the future.

Investing in trading is the good thing to do, as of now we cannot afford to invest our coins on any online site as we never know when we will get scammed, and saving some of them for future is also a good option.

I think you should not spend them at a moment, as price is not too high, so instead of spending them its better to save them or try to multiply them with the help of trading.

I only convert Dollars to Bitcoins when I expect the price to go up, I don't usually buy just to hold. In terms of actual usage, I sometimes spend Bitcoins on games, gadgets and domains. I can't say I really earn money from Bitcoin other than from the occasional domain sales (domains bought with Bitcoin), I don't actively trade crypto anymore.

You can try your luck in trading with small amount and if it works for you then you will be having some good profits in your wallet and it will also increase the amount of your coins.

I think a small number of coins as an investment would not be a bad decision, if somebody is abel to do that.

I don't belong to the majority who keeps their Bitcoin and wait to sell them for a higher price in the future,I keep only a small percentage (about 20% - 25%) as an asset and I use the rest to buy things or services I need,either by paying directly with Bitcoin or by exchanging them to fiat money and then pay (in case the seller doesn't accept them).

Why don't you try trading instead of only holding them, trading will help you in growing your coins and you will be holding more number of coins in your wallet which will give you higher profits.

correct it is good to try other method of earning in bitcoin because if you only hold your bitcoin you will take long time to get income but if you do some method that you can generate income while you have bitcoin holding in your wallet i think it would be great.

Holding will give you profits only if price will rise in future and we are not sure what exactly will  happen in future, so its better to keep on trying to grow our coins, so even if price is not too high we can expect some good profit if we have higher number of coins.

Yeah its better to choose coins that holds good reputation, it may take some time to make profits but you will surely not go from loss in it and that is the right way to make good profits in trading.

But in my opinion instead of trading nor gambling, simply holding bitcoin in cold storage would be better option without taking any risks. I believe bitcoin will have very huge price levels in very near future, so holding them will ensure for some definite profit whereas trading will get losses time to time.

You seem to have very good strategy and i will also suggest this to all newbie who want to start trading altcoin. Never ever buy alts when their price was pumping and those coins which don't have large volume usually.

If you want to invest in any altcoin then Poloniex is the best place to invest, as you will find all listed coins there and you can trade according to your budget and choose different coins accordingly.

i was not talking about simply investing or trading altcoins. i would like to short (= sell without having them) some altcoins. on most exchanges you can only sell what you have. poloniex seems to offer marginal trading but only for a few coins and they are not very interesting for this.

Some of them I am using in trading and rest I am holding for future as its a great hope that price will rise in coming months or years so will prefer to sell them at that point of time.

Never say there is no risk. There are always some hidden risk as no business will be guaranteed to run long term especially even for tomorrow. A well known and highly reputed business also may go bankrupted when a technical people or employee goes wrong. Once bitcoin goes out of our hands, anything might happen with that.

I think that everyone on this forum is trying to make money. Seeing as most people here have a signature which they get paid for wearing. It is a good way to earn money while learning about Bitcoin as well.

Im earning money with bitcoin and thats what im using when im going to mall and tbh I didnt invest even a single cent. Not because i dont have a trust on it. Its because I dont have money to invest and thats not a problem because btc has an oppurtunity to earn big without investing any amount.

this is the wrong way of thinking that is actually preventing bitcoin price to go up and also it is slowing down the process of adoption by merchants and usage as currency.

I am using Bitcoin as an investment because I can make some extra money with it so what I do is buy Bitcoin when the value if not high and sell when it is high.
That is how you can make some extra money bit by bit.

But it will take long time to make profits in that way, as price is not going up and down at a moment so if you buy now then you need to hold them for longer period to make profits from it.

Yeah to see bitcoin as an stronger currency in future we should use it like any other currency and its circulation is necessary to improve its economy and if nobody will spend then price will never go higher.

in current times where the price is stable, it's indeed not very profitable when you're a day trader. that's why you should stick to day trading at days where there is enough volume and volatility. i do that too. i used to (or at least tried) to day trade on days similar to how the market is today. it's not rewarding at all. that's why i take a break these days to jump into action as soon as the volatility comes back.

I am doing almost nothing with my bitcoin. Every month when I receive my paycheck I transfer a certain amount of fiat to bitcoin.

I can say that I invested myself in bitcoin, and bitcoin gambling. I didn`t invest my own money in bitcoins, I started from zero. I bought few little things, but mostly I gamble. I love many games, and I spend money trying to make more while I have fun. That is how I invest, everything else I tried was failure, with gambling I know my odds, and I know they will try to take my money, and that is a clear fight. With other investment options I feel like I`m in dark, promises are big, profit is low.
And finally I earn money with bitcoin, I made good money for one year, I`m satisfied with all that I achieve in year and couple months in bitcoin world.

I think you should stop wasting your time on faucets as you will be earning too low from it and that time you should put in trading from where you can earn higher income.

You are right. Today's good busines, may not be tomorrow's. But, at the same time not taking the risk might risk your entire life. So, risking some small amount is not always that much bad idea. Experts do call this 'calculated risk'. We can invest some 5% to 10% of total bitcoin saving into some reputed business.

Depends how much Bitcoins do I have. Some amount I spend for my everyday living, online or in real stores. At the moment I don't have that much to invest but that was also one of my strategies and the way to try to make profit from Bitcoins. For the future I would alos like to save some amount for "rainy days" and as a kind of back up.

Yes, collect and hold bitcoin was very good and can benefit when prices rise. I also do it but if I have my needs to currency exchange rates and transfer to my bank. Withhold bitcoin indeed be beneficial, but there are also risks. I never hold bitcoin and sell it when the price dropped drastically because I needed money, I experienced some losses.

I agree with you. I am actually trying to earn more bitcoins. The more I earn, the more convince I am to keep it for future use because yes prices will increase higher as time flies. But there are times I needed to cash it out if I am badly in need, or to have extra cash in hand. It all really depends on your strategy on how to keep and multiply it's value. Indeed, this is way too risky.

Instead of waiting for so long time you can make more money if you do a trading like selling after gaining some profit and buy again when prices go down. You can keep some portion for long term appreciation but keeping everything may not be a good option because no one knows what will be the real price of bitcoin in future.

What I do with bitcoin is that I invest the most money I have

just keep in mind that even if you know what team is better there is no guarantee that they will win. usually you can only win small amounts if you bet on the favorite team but lose all, so if they lose once in a while you one big loss will be bigger then your many small wins.

Use bitcoin for gambling is not so good. It can drop the bitcoin image. Anyway betting is unsafe activity, we better use our bitcoin to do investment like trading. It is more fair than do gambling. Yes everything you said was true.  Before I buy bitcoin to invest it but after spending some bitcoin to a scam investment site I never do it again.  I regret that.

Holding them for decades doesn't sounds great as we don't know whether bitcoin will be alive after 10 years or not so I prefer to play with them in short term and I am much satisfied with small profits that I am making regularly.

I don't want to sell my bitcoins too and I am doing nothing with my bitcoin either. Because what I am doing is just collecting bitcoins from the easy ways that I have like faucets and other ways. Part of BTC funds I invested in some other, online businesses.
I also just started my online business and will cover my initial expenses with bitcoin.
Rest of BIT funds I will keep in my bTC wallet and wait for price increase.

Using bitcoin, I do a lot of things. I use it to purchase items online. It is really convenient since you don't have to reveal your identity at all when buying. I also use it in altcoin trading and investing on some ico's. I only invest on ico which I think will have a good future though, I carefully analyze it, and I gain good returns in it.
