Hey everyone in the Bitcoin Community, I figured I would post here for some more attention to this unique product I have.  

I started this thread on another web-forum and as you can see have quite a lot of pleased customers:

I discovered a loophole through a very specific service, and specific model phone that this works on, and the result was 100% unlimited free 4G LTE data, without any phone activation of any sort.  The phones that were used to for this method, have since been discontinued and are next to impossible to find anywhere.  When I discovered this back in February of 2016, I thought this was some hoax, or I didn't think it would last more than a few days. It turns out my original phone I started this on, still works to this day, and from other internet posts, I was able to determine this has been in existence for almost 21 months as of the writing of this post.

Similar items such as Unlimited Hotspots, or Unlimited Plans, don't actually give you 100% unlimited data, or the price per plan is outrageous, usually ending up costing upwards of $150/month + the cost of the device.

Does this phone works only on U.S.A or it works also in Europe, mostly here are GSM so don't know if Sprint phones are supported here, have you shipped any phone in europe and got any feedback if it works or not?

The only other country outside the US that it works in is the UK.  It achieves Roaming status when in the UK, but is still able to connect to 4G LTE without any issues.

This looks interesting, to say the least. If you happen to do a vouch copy/device here, definitely hit me up, :). I'd love to evaluate it first-hand and give a review.

I may or may not do a vouch copy/device here.  I linked to another forum thread I had started where I get about 750-1000 views a day on my thread, much more than this forum could produce, and I gave a vouch copy to a moderator and they provided their review on the 2nd post.  If you are really interested in this device you can message me on Skype and we could discuss this, but otherwise if you really want one, you can clearly see reviews from people when reading through every page.  Thanks for the interest though.

Makes sense, but judging by the views on this thread in the past 2 days, giving out a vouch for free, and getting 0 sales from this thread doesn't seem economical to me, but I'll hang around for a little longer to determine if it makes sense.

At least you understand my dilemma.  I am open to a 'discounted' vouch copy, but for something that can't be replicated an endless amount of times due to the fact these phone models are discontinued, I am selling a scare and limited product.  I think more than likely, people aren't very interested in buying one, they are more interested in getting something for free, placing it under the guise of required vouch.  IF someone approaches me that is generally interested and concerned that they may get scammed I will more than happily work with them to feel comfortable using an escrow service/other means of payment to prove my legitimacy. 

Back to the question:

It has been working flawlessly for the past 21 months, nothing in life is certain, but this has absolutely no risk of death as long as a certain CDMA network remains in business. 

Is there a phone number attached to these? I saw you say that there's no warranty if you try to call out from it, but one worry would be someone miscalling that number (it happens at least 2x a week on my personal phone -- wrong numbers).

if i would buy 10 phones could i get them cheaper?

There is a number attached, I remove the stock Dialer app and Messaging app so there's no way you could really screw up unless you tried to.  Robo callers have dialed some of these phones occasionally but it's easy to block the number when it pops up and it wouldn't happen again.

These are only confirmed in the US/UK, other than that I cannot confirm they work in every country, there would need to be CDMA towers available, and they do not have 100% functionality in Canada, as that's the only other area tested.

Would you consider selling this as a guide if i got my own phone & sim?

I purchased a phone from Magicphone with OGNasty serving as an escrow agent. They cut me a deal in exchange for taking a less desirable phone model (I don't care, I'm using it as a hotspot).

I'll come back and edit this post in the future with my overall impression, but for now I will say that Magicphone is quick to respond to questions, and pretty professional. I asked a dozen or so questions, and got responses back pretty quickly. No problems with setting up escrow, and nothing so far that would lead me to believe that Magicphone is a scammer. I'll update this post when I have the phone in hand.

It would only work with a specific series of phones that are no discontinued, they are very hard to find.  I would not consider releasing a guide anyway.

How will you know when to release escrow, as in if a week later it doesn't work?

I will have escrow released as soon as I open the package and see that the phone is working as it should. The OP said it should continue to work as it has, but of course there are no guarantees for the future. I had that in mind when purchasing, and it was a risk I was willing to take. If it doesnt work a week later, that would be on me. However, I do have every reason to believe that it will continue to work based on information that I have gathered.

I will only be able to provide my impression at the time of receiving the phone. I'd be happy to come back and revisit the thread in a month, two months, three months, etc, but if it arrives and works as expected to, the OP has fulfilled their part of the deal.

If the phone doesnt work a week later, a refund would be issued immediately.  I will be honoring up to a one year warranty should the phone not work, because that's how confident I am at having it last forever.

SaltySpitoon, I ask that before you leave any sort of review, try to use as much data as possible, whether it be downloading torrents, or larger files, just to show everyone that it really is unlimited.

The warranty is appreciated. I'll do some damage on the data, don't you worry about that.  ;D

Responded again privately, but for anyone else wondering, sometimes if no other towers are near for this specific carrier, it has capabilities to roam on the Verizon network, but this is very rare.

Received my phone today, all set up as promised and ready to go out of the package. At Magicphone's request, I'm going to put it through streaming/torrenting hell, so I can use a bunch of data, and then I'll write the review for it tomorrow morning.

Would it be possible for you to get also unlimited 3G/4G for Europe GSM. I'm excited to see the SaltySpitoon review since nobody wrote a review yet. I know that it was possible for unlimited data with Verizon or T-mobile (not sure which one) but that was patched fast.

Unfortunately it would most likely need to have CDMA coverage.  It roams in the United Kingdom so anything may be possible.

So heres my review of day 1 with my magicphone hotspot. I'd wait and review it later, but given its current performance, I don't have much reason to believe that it will suddenly limit the data. That and I had 15 HD video streams going trying to suck up as much data as possible, but it just made my house hot instead.

Full disclosure, I was not willing to shell out the full $430 asking price for something I was taking a gamble on, the gamble being that it will continue to work into the future. Magicphone offered me a cheaper less desirable phone model in exchange for a break in the price. I'm just using it as a hotspot, so I didn't especially care. I asked a lot of questions, and found all answers satisfactory. There was no hesitation to use escrow, so we did through OGNasty. I received the phone today, two days after ordering it. I turned it on, and it was all set up already with the stock calling and texting app disabled to prevent an accidental lock of service. On the front page was a shortcut to the USB Tethering and Hotspot settings. I turned it on, changed the SSID and Wep, and was using it within a minute or so. Using an internet speed test, I clocked it at around 12mb/s though I assume thats highly dependent on the area and signal strength. I figured I'd test out the unlimited data usage, and streamed 5Gb worth of movies before turning off my computer because I was getting hot. Strange fall weather.

I can't see the future, so I can't really say for certain that it wont stop working at some point in the future, but every claim that Magicphone has made for certain to this point has been true, so I don't see much reason to doubt them now. I'm satisfied with the phone, and I'd say to anyone who is interested, shoot Magicphone a pm and ask any questions you have, its worth the time anyway.

Well I did grill the hell outta you lol. And have been interested from the start. Salty's review helped push me over that last hurdle to move forward and give it a shot. ;). Using escrow for the transaction helped make it an easy choice as well.

can you tell us what network it uses for data or does it skip between them? there are big areas of the us where I couldn't get any data on the network I was on through whole states. maybe I had a crappy plan or something.

For the most part it's on the Sprint network, so you can let me know if something like this would still work for you!

The method is legal, yes.  I pre-root the phones before I ship them out, but you wouldn't need to have root anyway. 

US and UK so far are tested and work.

Like I've said to most people, if you have Sprint CDMA towers then we should have good luck, if it's just GSM than not so much.

Im from philipines also and im looking for a way to avail cheap data that will last for months or years . Cause enrolling to a data here is very expensive and not even unlimited bamdwith.

So first off, magicphone is a stand up guy.

After 1 billion questions, I went ahead and got one of his hotspots, and used OgNasty as escrow.

magicphone was extremely patient and helpful in explaining every little thing I asked him.

During my testing, I had some issues, solely due to my area not having many cell towers nearby.

So working with magicphone via chat, I drove a few towns away to a coffee shop to test it.

Needless to say it was near perfect, I was getting very nice download speeds, and connected to a laptop was able to surf and download with no lag or delay at all.

I was given the opportunity from magicphone to take an extra day or so to bring it to a few different locations for speed and connectivity tests, and was happy with the results.

The device works as stated, and he was very helpful and easy to get in touch with for any little question or concern.

So after all of that, along my concern with my specific areas lack of cell towers and connectivity, magicphone was kind enough to offer me the choice to return it for a refund.

I decided to keep the device, and he worked with me on the price.

So to sum it up:

Great device
Excellent communication
He eliminated any doubts I had about the product or him posting here with a newbie account.

I would definitely do a business with him again.

It's a phone, that's purpose is to be used as a hotspot. If you read back a few pages, he says what devices he uses for his method (all androids).

It comes with a phone number that works, but texting or calling may get your phone to lose its "magic" status :P

No it will not, its just excessive usage of the phone line/sms option that could potentially disable it.  You would have to be trying really hard to test the limits.

Is the data spees throttled at all? And is it 4G or LTE? They are different. LTE has a lower required speed than 4G. LTE can go as slow as 3G and still be considered LTE. Otherwise this looks great.

No throttling at all, it is LTE and the speeds usually average 10-15Mbps.

Hello All,

I know I am new here, and you can use your own judgment as to whether to believe me or not.

I would like to inform anyone who is on the fence as to whether or not to believe if this phone and his claims are true; that it definitely works and he is NOT pulling your legs.

I clicked the link he provided awhile back and went to the other forum, because I was skeptical, myself.

I contacted him on jabber, to get a few questions answered and to see if I could get that 'gut check' that he wasn't a scammer.  (Yeah, I know  ;D ).

Finally, I believe I literally said, "What the hell".

He did pull the 'It's my last one, so it's $450, instead of $425' bait and switch on me, but, oh well.

He promptly gave me the tracking info about a half hour later.

3 days later, the phone arrived at my door.

I set it up to be a hotspot and that is how I have left it since the day I received it about 2 weeks ago.

So far..... 31.84GB of data at an avg. of I'd say 20 Mbps Down and 10+ Mbps Up.  No down throttling.

Of course, this was only 2 weeks, so time will still tell if it keeps on going.

I ordered another phone a few days ago, and it arrived today for that very purpose. Didn't use escrow this time, and once again Magicphone delivered. Still no throttling, data caps, or service shutoff on my first magic phone.

As a side note, I tried the phone in Eastern Canada, and didn't have a signal. To be fair though, it was a pretty remote area and there wasn't much cell phone service to begin with.

May I ask, how do you know this? If it can connect to the UK roaming services, then you may be able to get it anywhere else. I guess you'll have to physically be there to test.

The package from what I could gather was denied at customs and is now sitting at a location in New York where all denied packages go waiting to get claimed.  I have to fill out a form, and it has to be processed, about another week or two to hear back from someone.  USPS doesn't give a shit apparently about these packages as a lot of them get claimed by the government over a certain period of time.  So that is what I am dealing with right now.

Bought a phone using bitify.com as escrow. Received phone and is working perfectly after a week. MagicPhone is a great purchase.

If you seqrch around on the net. Seems like there is a mode phone that you could if bought at walmartnpossibly virgin mobile data done right or other cdma. And it sould have free jnilimited wifi lte before even activating it. Also another way is if you use a proxy to trick the server into thinking you are connecting to a website they would allow even withot wctivated service like a speedtest or something. If search and research enough you can possibly make your own magic phone ;)

Yes i know what you are saying proxy trick..
I have used it a couple of times but for this you have to be lucky enough to find a proxy IP which allows you to transfer data without data packs.
But i never heard anything like this magic phone before.

Like you said earlier, $430 is not $30 that someone easily out.

So, you have to be patient and have a long-term marketing goal. I've been fustrated in the past when trying to sell a $50,$100 without any success. Later, i went to ebay and i made lot of sales but, later i came back to this forum,make some modification to my digital product's, include more descriptive images...ecc

The rest was a surprise!! my thread went viral on this forum. And, i made $200 the first day, and since that day i have be making some little sales.

The bad aspect is this, when my thread went viral, my COMPETITOR'S ALSO WENT VIRAL (those who are already fed-up of bumping their thread noticed that i could be making some sales based on question(s) and comment posted by other member's)

So, most of them started by a request of vouched. Sure some of this same people have two-five (member,senior,hero) account. And, they use it to play the back-front-game against their competitor! They use this as an opportunity to ask silly question and posted dirty info's about my services. Some, can go to the extend of inviting you to skype only to pull-out more information about your product's/service in order to for them to copy your marketing strategies.

*In conclution remain here, avoid posting external to other site. it will not work on bitocintalk forum

Finally, be patient and alway's reply to PM's and most invitation via skype. But becareful of your word's during any conversion via skype b/c you may not know whom you are dealing with. The mystery customer might turn out to be one of your competitor.

Just  a word of advice from a colleague who has been there.

The smartphone is the unlimited data.  There's a SIM that's only compatible with that phone as the IMEI matches with the SIM number.

If you look up his history, he's been selling these on other forums for quite some time. Escrow isn't really necessary imo.

I would like to buy the Moto g3 for 450 but first there is something I just read that I need clarification.  Users of virgin mobile are saying that virgin mobile will soon be dropping Data Done Right and I am pretty sure OP's loophole relies on data done right so I would like to know how does this latest decision on part of Virgin Mobile affect, if any, this loophole.  Will the phone continue to work after VM shuts down Data Done Right?

Indeed, going to that very same virgin mobile forums and searching the term data done right does reveal a few users claiming to have received an email from virgin mobile that they are getting rid of data done right soon, so i guess we will all see how soon the op starts honoring his unlimited return policy in the event the phones stops working. I too am interested at least in getting the cheaper desire 510 for usd$ 300 but am a bit too nervous of actually going forward with this at this time. Maybe a bit of clearance from the op can put this at ease, maybe it wont affect his phones, maybe it will? Who knows for now.

I've been trying to buy one of these phones for a while from the OP, but I never get a reply on skype ( and yes I've confirmed countless times that i'm speaking to the op and not an imposter). I would like to purchase a magic phone from you, despite what others have been saying about a supposed cut off date of March 31 2017 where it is said that the underlying network that powers your magic phones is about to be taken offline.  I would make such a purchase with only one condition:
1: That Escrow is used, we can use any escrow of your choice, you pick the escrow and its fine with me, I fully trust you since I have been lurking here for a while and so far no one has accused you of scamming anyone, but with this latest threat I would like to take no chances.  Here are my terms:
After exactly two weeks after the March 31, 2017 date, if the phone still works I will authorize your escrow to release the funds for you.  If you are still offering this phone I am up for immediate payment to escrow.  Sorry that I have to use escrow, if it wasn't for this latest threat, I wouldn't consider any escrow for this.
The phone that I am principally interested is in the Moto G3 as I can use that phone for my video production needs.  I create Magic youtube pranks and this phone can be handy when I am doing live full HD video presentation, not having to worry about hitting any known data caps and unknown data caps, like when you consume too much data on a "unlimited" plan, you get sent to an abysmally slow 2G throttled connection, that is a huge plus I see with your phones that I can consume 50G in a month and not having to worry about anything and being free for live would be great.  If the Moto G3 is not available then I would settle for the Moto e and if that one is not available I would ultimately settle for the hte desire 510 and if it comes to that I would be using that only with wifi tether connected to my real modern other phone or tablet for live video broadcasts.

I pray that this is still available, damned that I didn't knew about this months sooner :(

i sometimes call their customer support centers located in the dominican republic, and have conversations with the reps.  they don't have a definitive date, sometimes they tell me a year, sometimes shorter, but this doesn't matter.  the network will still be alive and kicking, when they roll over the normal muggles to standard plans. 

FYI- Don't worry I dont use standard topup cards and pins, so what you posted above does not relate to what I do here.

these phones can't be provisioned anymore to data done right since they phased it out on march 31, 2017, meaning that magicphone no longer has stock unless he previously already provisioned the phones onto the network beforehand, which i highly doubt he did

he was banned from MPGH for exit scamming btw

btw, me too, I wanted to buy one, but like always good things must come to my attention when its way too late :( so I take it this worked starting on 2015 and ending on 2017, over two years.  I pay Verizon $100 a month I could have saved $100 * 24 = $2,400 total had I taken advantage of this from the beginning.

Edit: to replace image hosting server since tinipic failed me, It was working on day 1 and then I discover my image wasn't showing, so I switched to ImgBB.

I've kept my eye on this service for a while. Has anyone been able to get ahold of magicphone? If I can get some money soon I'd like to purchase a phone but it looks like he's unreachable at this point.

I tried to diffuse the situation as best as I could, I tried to make Sprint think that on September 14 they really killed DDR, but nooooo you guys had to continue boasting publicly that your DDR phones continued working past this date, and those sellers (madrinos......) continued selling their ddr devices when they should have faked that ddr was dead and non functional and continued with their sales offline LIKE I DID, none of ya realized that Sprint actively was reading these forums xda included?  and on that xda thread people was all the time bragging that their ddr phones were working past all efforts of vm killing ddr, you guys should have faked and said that your ddr phones stopped working as soon as the next day of Sept 14 passed and only then would Sprint have halted all further efforts of killing DDR which would have benefited all of us!  Well now enjoy expensive ripoff massively throttled cellphone plans! :(

Yup it really is dead now. I bought a 'magicphone' from 'magicphone' months ago. I did receive it within a week so he WAS legit. But since a few days ago, the network is now disconnected and no longer works. He, of course isn't responding on skype. He did guarantee if it were to 'die' within a year, that he would refund. Yeah... I highly doubt I'll be getting my money back.

Its over for good, my Galaxy S5, and moto G3's stopped working but the good news is that I typed the IMEI number of my Galaxy S5 on ting byod website and was told that I could activate it there, also swappa.com/esn says its clear for activation, before DDR stopped working it said "already activated", so these formally DDR phones not only stopped working, they got their SIM cards deprovisioned from Sprint's back-end but they also release the IMEI of the phones so that if we wanted we can makeactivate them in normal Sprint or any of its MVNO's like Ting, FreedomPop, etc if we want. If course it would not be exactly free and unlimited anymore like we all were used to when we were using DDR, but at least we are not holding WiFi only " little tablets" paper weights, and also if the IMEI shows as Clear for Activation your device has resale value if you desire to sell them on Ebay

I know, I am just messing with ya, but here's the dead serious reality: Dont count on that "Lifetime Warranty" that magicphone promised.

 My phone is officially dead as well I received a voicemail and it stopped working however I did receive almost a full year out of my phone and if you do the math I actually only paid 25 bucks a month roughly to have that phone with full data access in which I was definitely using over 15 GB a month .  In addition to that I can sell the phone and get some money out of it .  However if anybody else discovers a flaw like this in the future I will definitely try it again so message me if you read this.
