I have just released beta of my android game for everyone to review and give suggestions.

Screenshots look really nice, i will try your game and give review after sometime. Can you also post how you gonna give bitcoin in reward for just playing game? It will be helpful

We are implementing intelligent Ads from multiple ad networks. Also we use this to promote our other game apps which do not have bitcoin rewards.
Basically you can think of this as faucet app.

Yeah, this app requires way too many sensitive permissions to be considered benign. I don't trust this at all.

Would you please point out which permissions is this requesting , which it should not?
I would try my best to remove anything which may have crept inadvertently .
Trust is not a thing I am looking to lose here, This is my first project. :)

Just like others said, you should limit the permissions.

Keep the app simple, you do not need the user location or access to the network.

User location is needed localization of ads and game content.
Access to network is needed because the game basically runs on internet as all data
is saved and edited on server side to save from cheaters.

These both are pretty normal permissions for mobile games, where we have ads and interact with internet servers.

Are ads vital for the game ?

Yea, thats how we pay satoshi as rewards as game is not investment based.
There is an casual mode though with lesser ads .. but still ads. :)

Update: We faced a hack attempt. Payments have been paused for a while . Would be resumed in 24 hours or so once we patch up this security breach. Thanks for helping out in Beta. I would keep updated. If there is any discrepancy in your in game balance . Please Pm me.

Why does it need access to photos/media/files and storage? You left that out of your previous explanation above.

This is because all apps store data , images , music etc (caching !) for quick display during ads and video advertisements. Also while loading sounds for game the data read and write access is required. This is a pretty common Permission you would find for most of the apps.

I would check your game this week, seem very interesting application. I would like to have more details on the intelligent Ads you had implemented on your application. I have a project in the near future for an android application and I need to find information on how to monetize it.

Could you share your link or documentation for the intelligent Ads?

Nice, I like this game. You should make more games, maybe something along the lines of Clash of Clans with Bitcoin Integrations!

Clash of Clans is a big project though we do have great aspirations. We have started this as a test project to test the waters. Going good so far. :)

We have processed a few payments and there are many people playing. There would be more activity once we implement leaderboards etc.
We also need to work on website for info  about the application. Currently our main aim is fighting the cheaters and close security gaps as much as possible.

Interesting concept, but the permissions will chase people away. The reasons given, < Ad income > should not compromise the security of the mobile users. I would have a separate site or a forum, that generates the Ad income and have that separate of the game.

Then you can re-direct people to this site for Leaderboard information and general communication to generate traffic for Ad income. If the permissions chase people away, then the Ad income will be low and your game will not go viral. There should be no barrier to entry for the game and external Ad income from other sources.

You can also introduce Player vs Player matches, where people bet on the outcome and you take a percentage of the bets being played per game to fund the faucet. ^smile^

how to bitcoin withdrawal, automatic or manual, and how the minimum withdrawal amount in the form of bitcoin?

Permissions are already minimal and in standard with other games.
Our next title would implement the player to player matches concept.

Okay! We have again got heavy hack attempts today. We have recognized another security flaw.
Payments are on pause while we patch the issue.

So as it seems it is evident that automatic payments are just paving way for cheaters to try more.
We should change this to manual payments every 3 days or so , after the things get audited for any fraud .

We are working on making the robust system to make hacking and cheating more difficult .
The system should be ready and you all would see updated version. Till then payments are paused. Please cooperate and bear the inconvenience.

I downloaded it and it is a nice game difficulty is fair. Then payout is horrible though and watching one video each life is too much. There are video ads plus click ads that's too much. Manual cheacking for withdraws usually means slow withdraw. How would people cheat anyway ? Its all server sided is it not ?

Payout will be increased once we analyze our traffic and we add other revenue sources, currently all occupied fighting with cheaters.

Hmm.. true enough! one video each game pay might be too much. I would decrease that a bit and tweak it with interstitals instead. And give option to watch to video to get additional life possibly.
Meanwhile we also have the casual mode where video ads are halved already. Any suggestions about monetizing are welcome.
This should be added with out next mode.
Also we are planning to add in App voting for users to quickly suggest and give their review about new features and requests.


Manual checking is the wrong word here! My bad! But it is delayed payment. So you people request payout today , they would be paid after one or two days after the payout reques is checked by our anti cheat system. Earlier we had instant payout which was heavily abused.
I target to make this payments processed once each day eventually.

Yes, the game is server sided but still we have some smart cheats out there.
Our last version was heavily attacked and abused.

I hope the project is successful, I've installed many programs android associated with faucet, but never runs until withdrawal. And the main point is not many ads.

I am trying my best to make it successful.

But,if it's correct that this want too many permissions,than you should fix it.No need for exta permissions on a simple game.
