You heard right. Are you in an undergraduate liberal arts class that requires you to write an essay that you just don't feel like doing? Well, I am here to offer you the opportunity to slack without any consequences. My rate is $0.05 per word, with a minimum of $30 per paper, and I only do payments within escrow (with BTCrow.com). There is a variable rate increase if the deadline is particularly short notice, but that is pretty flexible. I will be able to most effectively write papers on literature (particularly poetry analysis) and general persuasive essays commonly found in intro English classes, but will cover any subject if given enough time to research it. It is advisable that you include a sample of some of your previous essays so I can effectively mimic your style while still netting you a high grade. (Side note: I guarantee at least a B on your paper or you get a 75% refund. To make this easier for me, it would help if you gave me any essays you had previously written for that class along with what grades they received, so I can more easily judge how your professor grades essays.) I have the most experience with MLA format; Chicago style and APA are, for the most part, foreign to me, but I do have the handbooks for them, so I could manage.

Why would anyone pay you ~$10 per word? Try 0.005 and you might get some people interested.

I thought that was clear enough, but I'll edit it to clarify that my rate is in USD and not BTC.

Mind providing a sample of some of your work? I find it a little hard to believe your "professional" time is worth a third of a cent per word.

Well, for obvious reasons, I can't provide examples of work I've done for others. And no one from this forum (to my knowledge, I'm talking to a few people now who didn't mention where they saw this) has taken me up on the offer yet, so I can't have anyone speak for their experience. Ah, and for anyone who's curious, I got a 98 on my final paper for my current English class. Highest score in the class, I may add.

The price includes any research needed to be done for the essay. It comes out to be 30 dollars for a basic 2-3 page paper, which I think is a pretty fair price. I think my portfolio speaks for itself, but I am also a peer tutor at my university, as I'm an undergrad student.

I applaud you for taking the initiative and taking the opportunity to learn. I'm not being sarcastic, I agree with you.

All I'll say is that some people are okay with foregoing that opportunity, and I'm here for them. :) But, then again, there are also times when circumstances aren't conducive to being able to write a big essay, such as when someone unintentionally takes too large a course load, and would rather have a little academic dishonesty over a failing grade.

(Plus, I get the extra benefit of learning the subject matter myself!)

I just read your essay in response to "My Diagnosis."
I think you hit your stride as you go along. But the poster above who quips about run-on sentences has a point.
Sometimes you use too many clauses. Since French literature is full of long sentences and your account name is a French phrase, perhaps you are a student of the language?
Also, I had to laugh when reading the gender critique of the DSM in your essay since all of the replies here have used the third person masculine form when referring to your work.

I am a big fan of French literature, yes, but just because a sentence is long does not mean it's a run-on. That's something that's literally never been brought up by any of my professors, so I'm not very concerned with that "critique." As for the gender thing, let's just say that not all feminists are female, but most of them are.  ;)
