After this vote, the Americans have confirmed that they do not want to see America remain the leader in the world order. I'm sure they never even thought of. The idea of their own prosperity they shut off their brains. Now they get nothing and will destroy what was gained the previous generation.

Because Americans got tired of their previous pro-isis liberal soros-controlled soft boy president and wanted a real people's leader this time.

I think you should first put the blame on the one who compiled that list of 7 countries in the first place, If citizens of these countries are the ones who commit acts of terrorism the most, why would anyone want them in their country. Its purely and mainly for protection of his citizens.

Let's be clear - most Americans who voted didn't vote for Trump.  In fact, more Americans voted for his chief rival (about 2.8 million more).  Plus, around 92 million eligible voters didn't vote.  Chalk it up to laziness, lack of good choices or whatever, but Trump's views don't reflect a majority of those who voted and probably not a majority of those who didn't (given most were predicting a Clinton victory, I'd expect Trump voters to be more motivated).

Its also a temporary ban. Until they can sort things out on their end, may be a few years.. So go to Canada instead, sure its a little colder there but you'll get used to it.

I'm not an American citizen so I haven't voted, but I'm actually happy that Trump won. Clinton was a proven liar, a wife of a proven liar and one of the worst US presidents in history. She is also quite old and unhealthy, not fit to become the leader. Trump is not perfect, but he's a lesser evil.

In Iraq there used to be a puppet regime which was loyal to the United States. But as a result of the foreign policy failure from Obama, the new regime has moved closer to Iran (one of the reasons were lack of support from the US, in its fight against the ISIS).

It seems to me that the purpose of Trump is not a fight against Muslims, but simply he is trying to embroil America with all its allies to make money on the production and sale of American hydrocarbons. He was not interested in the future of America!!!

Well I also am not in favor of what trump did banning refugees from 7 countries but I think we're putting too much blame on the man. I didn't vote for him but in a way, the previous administration is partly to blame. I thought the Obama government made a mistake in bombing these middle eastern countries and the reason we have refugees is that we took away their homes and livelihoods. If trump sees it's dangerous for America's safety to have these refugees given shelter, we can't blame him because that may be used by terrorists to have access to American soil.

It also seems like a silly excuse.  Why didn't Trump expand the list of countries to include those with verifiable links to terrorists, such as Saudi Arabia?  I thought he was there to shake up things, not just continue Obama's policies.

But then, the big issue is that this was a horribly and incompetently enacted travel ban.  Hopefully we don't see more incompetence from this admin.

I'm not sure for all 7 countries, but I am sure that Trump wants to embroil America with Saudi Arabia to limit the supply of Arab oil to the market of the United States of America and make American oil.

There was no way to vet them, because there was no government infrastructure operating in Syria.  That's what started this whole issue, if I recall correctly.

So yes, they were being let in without vetting, without any background check.  Avoiding the customary system.  Obama and Clinton would have had us like Europe.

I think the age where a superpower could try to get into the problems of all the world is coming to an end and we are going back to the precious system of spheres of influence obviously the US will like to remain influential in Europe and Latin America but it may withdraw from other scenarios.

Trump has promised to cut-down wasteful spending, including the $1.5 trillion F-35 project. If such unnecessary spending is reduced, then there will be more than enough funds for the new defense projects. 

F-35 is the best aircraft in the world. The fact that it is expensive does not mean that it always will be. The better the technology of production the cheaper will be its cost.. once again convinced that Trump sent to America by the devil.

Actually deportations increased during his term over the prior President.  That being said, he didn't divert more government resources from other programs to be able to fully enforce immigration laws.  He also prioritized criminal deportations but didn't focus on deporting non-criminal illegals.  Hopefully Trump cuts other spending or increases taxes and funds more enforcement. I'd prefer the later, unless there is true waste to target (other than paying for his son's trips to Uruguay).

The F-35 has been troubled with several unresolved technical bugs. On the other hand, Russia spent just 1% of that amount and developed two vastly superior aircraft (the Sukhoi-35 and the Sukhoi PAK FA).

Admittedly, my vote for Donald Trump was less for him than it was against his opponent. However, when he won I felt he was in a unique situation to unite the country by showing what an outsider could accomplish if given the chance. I now feel that he’s squandered it. Today America face very severe problems in there own country. To protect and do good to trump's people as American citizen and as the high leader of America, Trump needs to show his iron hand for the seek of his own people. There is no point in keep saying that more people voted for Hillary. In the United States, the presidential election is decided on the basis of electoral votes. If it was decided on the basis of popular votes, then the GOP voters in California and NY would have turned up in good numbers and Trump would have got far more votes when compared to Hillary.

More young people voted for Clinton, but that bloc did not include as many voters as those over 40, who as a majority voted for Trump.
