BTC price will be around 800 - 1200 USD this year, high price means that BTC mining is more profitable. So it is also the right time to sale some spare BTC.

No. When we are talking about bitcoin reaching "the Moon" we don't mean it will reach any particular price range.
Figuratively speaking moon is a synonym for something that can't be achieved, because price always can go even higher.

Bitcoin prices have increased from 0 to 1000, for first investors, this could be "to the moon" for them. With this history of increasings, some users think that bitcoin could go to 10.000 or higher, this could be "to the moon" too. In my opinion its an expression used because no one know where could be the price of bitcoins on next years.

I believe if it was even just speculation. I really think that the price of bitcoin will reach a high price, maybe even twice the price of which is currently owned. although bitcoin prices rise slowly, but I think this is only really a matter of time.

I think "to the moon" meaning is the price going up, up and up again without limit. So there are no specific price of bitcoin to the moon.
When I know bitcoin in the first time, "bitcoin to the moon" sentence always exist until now.

not zero it was 0.1, search for it, it increase 10k x in the last seven/eight year, the price now is very high compared to before but the adoption is still very low compared to what it should be, the price will increase much more in the future this is only the beginning in my opinion

It is over hyped news. We have other ETFs in Europe already and they are not doing that amazing job. Nobody talks about them anymore.
COIN won't be different, it will be all bark and no bite. In case of its approval price of btc will rise mostly because hype, not because real value of ETF.

It went way too high that is why they are going too excited to call it "to the moon". But really bitcoin just went back to its price way back. It is really a thousand up dollars. Some holders here have just gotten their ROI and this is just the start for the profit to come in.
We can call it to the moon when it doubles this price though it is getting scary because of what happened then.
History should not repeat itself.

Bitcoin price is now on the moon and i think it will go higher than the moon because of the good progress that bitcoin had, I wish that the price will reach 1,500$ so i can unload my bitcoins and take a rest and just watch the market then if the market dumps then i will invest all my money again. I just always do Buy Low Sell High.

For some people, this is the moon.  It really depends on exactly when you bought in, right?  I got into bitcoin relatively late, so for me the "moon" would be $10,000 or more.  Miners who got their coins in 2010 and still have them...yeah.  This is it.

Yeah it somewhat around 1200$ from the past 5 days. I do not think any one expect this price raise in this February. However it is good to the bitcoin. Value will be more than 1500$ as you said before this year ends.

The price is circulating within certain range between $1180-$1210. This seems to have a stabilization till the deadline for ETF. After which the gradual increase might take the price to the peak. These days few governments supporting bitcoin is the added advantage for a better growth of bitcoin and other virtual currencies.

Some users say its going to MARS already. :)

Back when the price of BTC was just $400+ people hype it and that it goes to the moon and it does when it reach $700 and the rest says "i told you so".
Come next month they once again predict BTC will go to the moon, maybe they mean Mar's moon. Its always the moon that's the destination, we don't wanna venture to the meteors roaming around the space. Its too risky  ;D

I think price will eventually reach $1500 BTC with or without ETF  approval.  The upward trend of Bitcoin price would be disrupted if the ETF is disapproved and a possible dip will occur.  Then recover in price and continue to rally toward $1500 at the end of the year.  Adoption will make this to happen though the scalability issue may hinder or slow down the price increase.

To moon = To go high.
When we are not sure about how much peak levels bitcoin prices will be achieving, you are using the term moon. It will simply denotes that bitcoin will be having another huge level of prices. So I believe this will be continuously in usage in near future as bitcoin will be keep on increasing.

I do not see any other literal meaning of using the term "moon" for bitcoin prices other than this.

I think the price will stabilize, plus we can excpect slow raise to 1300$-1400$. On my opinion, this year we will not see those big drops in price. I think the phrase "go to the moon" already completed, because we reached the price of 1000$ per 1 bitcoin. Next step would be 2000$ and how fast it'll grow up, it's hard to predict, but i think approximately we will see that on the next 2 or 3 years

The price today is not as volatile as it was before IMHO. Although the price of bitcoin
right now is rising due to the anticipation of ETF, whether is going to be approve
or not, the price will be stable up to the end of the year. Now if is going to moon
as you mentioned,  you don't want to go there, why? because once the price peak as
is highest, it will surely fall very quickly and suddenly. So just a steady claim will
be nice for us, just enjoy the ride for those crypto enthusiast.

Not only the price of bitcoin will go to the moon but it will bring the long effect for the bitcoin and all of the altcoin. I think after SEC approval more money will always flow into bitcoin. And US citizen will be able to buy the crypto product.

Bitcoin Price has crossed 1200$ barrier and currently playing on that level. Very few has understanding of who and how this price is increasing. Price increase without any justification needs to be treated with caution. ETF-approval is pending, but that news should not be the cause.
Anyone have idea why this sudden swing?

well, I do agree with your opinion. Bitcoin prices will cross over $1200 because of the ETF. And as you can see, the prices has increased significantly for 3 months and this process has not stopped yet. Moreover, the number of the people join Bitcoin world has risen everyday and I believe that in the end of this year, 0.1% of the world population will know about Bitcoin

Yes, indeed the number of people using it increases everyday, but I don't think they are the majority cause of why bitcoin is rising though.

The current rise in bitcoin’s price is more stable than its previous price changes, according to Martin Tillier, a financial advisor writing in
Nasdaq, a provider of exchange technology, trading, information and public company services across six continents. Tillier says bitcoin’s previous price hikes were mysterious, but the current one is due to the devaluation of China’s currency.

I am not finding it is a valid reason for bitcoin's current value appreciations. Not just due to devaluation of Yuvan, bitcoin gained its value. It got new adopters and investors and currently bitcoin etf speculation pushing prices further. There would be many reasons and yuvan's devaluation might be one of them.

It basically mean exceeding the last highest price. I've seen that the price has really gone up in the past 3 months that I've started tracking bitcoin. There's really no definite price for "to the moon" since no one really have any idea of how high bitcoin prices can go up. Guess people really like using that term since they're excited to see bitcoin prices go really high. Well we can only hope it stay this or that even if a plunge happen, it wouldn't be very deep and that the price will recover quickly.

Yep I agree the term called "moon" is just for the price of the bitcoin because it is pumping and pumping so high so I think the bitcoin now will pump and reach the pick at the month of june. Here is PH the price of the bitcoin is 60,000php which is the very high I ever see so let's hope the best for bitcoin surpass the moon that they call.

Going to the moon could be a figurative expression at the same time, its a subjective statement in the sense that going to the moon might means different things to individuals starting up the threads. For someone who lost touch with the crypto-world when the price was around $600 then came back when its $900 then to him, bitcoin is going to the moon. At the same time, we might have another individual in another part of the world who just joined when the price was $750, and in two weeks, the price climbs above $1000 then the price is still going to the moon.

i think bitcoin prices is not go to the moon but bitcoin price is getting rally because to the moon, the price is suddenly fly away into the higher price than now and we can not reach it while the price is going to increase so fast. when i see the price, its reach new price, gets stagnan for a while before its up and sometimes gets down in a while and suddenly back into the beginning price and stay for one or two days and then the price is up into nowhere.

What is "spare BTC"? I think there is no such thing. All the fractions of BTC we have are not spare for us. We love then and we cherish them. :)
No one wants to sell them unless we are in a desperate need of fiat money.

BTC price is rising, just its too much to say that price will go to the moon. Let`s wait couple more years to see how will things develop, there is many issues that BTC developers and miners need to solve. Maybe we will not be alive when price get too the moon, for that to happen I estimate that need to pass min 50 years from now.

BTC price will be around 800 - 1200 USD this year, high price means that BTC mining is more profitable. So it is also the right time to sale some spare BTC.

What is "spare BTC"? I think there is no such thing. All the fractions of BTC we have are not spare for us. We love then and we cherish them. :)
No one wants to sell them unless we are in a desperate need of fiat money.

This. I was looking to sell some bitcoins a few weeks ago but now I just can't let them go. I'm not desperate so I definitely don't want to sell at such an amazing high.

I think it's enough about called those events as 'go to the moon' as it simply never happened, each one of us will have different thoughts about the meaning of the words. For me : since the first time I read this statement, it maybe refers to the price will doubled or tripled in just one month, as the price at $1220 right now and then 'go to the moon' = it should be $2400 or $3600 in this Month which impossible, unless ETF get approval (maybe) but who knows? Time will tell the truth.

Actually it's already rising and we can barely say that it will keep on rising up to the moon. And I do believe that issues you are pertaining will be solved a little by little seemingly the price will keep on growing no matter what happens. Investors are keep on backing up with bitcoin, so there's no doubt for this even how long it will take.

The Speculation of some holders has just started. The highest price of bitcoin this 2017 will be at 2000$ if there is no panic selling that will occur. So fasten your seatbelt and where heading to moon

Makes me laugh with this, but yeah fasten your seatbelt now because people already learned especially those who panic selling their coin in previous time because they knew now that they need to hold it on until it reaches its peak. So for sure when goal
reached panic selling wiill gonna happen again.

People really have to stop jumping on the train of that bitcoin prices will just go insanely high one day and we will all become millionaries. You people on this forum that beleive this do understand that people are going to have to buy bitcoin at these insane prices too? There has to be a demand for the prices that people are speculating or nothing will occur and no one will be able to say.

Liquidity it any current moment is key, on Bitcoin it is present at the moment without issues but if a "To the moon" would occur with the price the entire marketplace will be thrown into limbo, who knows what could occur.

To the moon came from dogecoin story,it became popular in all digital currencys community, meaning is price rise.I think today Trump speech can nfluance btc,i expect that Wall Street will shows his power and will be sell off on markets, but if btc will pass 1200$ we will have 1800$-2200$ level. For sure some people will know SEC decision before annoucment

If we want mass adoption the price increases and decreases cant keep occurring like this, bitcoin just won't be massively adopted if this occurs it's simple as people don't want to buy into a currency then have less money in that currency within minutes due to market volatility.

Yeah. Bitcoins price has significantly increased this past week. And I hope it will continue until it reaches up to 1500$ to 2000$. This proves how powerful bitcoin is in terms of its Market Cap. Thus, making us more secure in holding it and making profit from it.

This shows how the demand of bitcoin rises from time to time and how many people are continually engaging to this crypto-currency.  So better save your bitcoins and wait for the further pump before selling it.

When we are talking about bitcoins price would go to the moon, its logically means that price would go high as it goes and now we are already seeing it since bitcoins price had already break its ATH and now gradual increase is happening  and all bitcoin users are hoping the same thing too.
many users continue to believe in bitcoin so that they continue to buy this makes the demand continues to increase and the upward trend continues into. If this continues to happen of bitcoin prices will rise to the moon

Yes bitcoin's price increasing is called go to the moon and some people said the price will become $2000 up to $3000 in the end 2017 year, their prediction is based on the perception of the public towards the resumption of Bitcoin withdrawals at the Chinese exchanges and the ETF decision. Yes, daily many new users are attracted to bitcoin and continuously purchasing bitcoin. At the same time, the old user is holding their bitcoin in cold storage for bigger returns. This is also one factor that bitcoin increase its price, this year is the best year for bitcoin users who are waiting patiently.

Everyday new people learns how to bitcoin, and added it to their daily transactions. Many stablishments also accepts Bitcoins. Indeed, Bitcoin will reach the moon very soon.

That means that price is rising and that price will not stop to rise until it get to the moon. That is just optimistic saying, who knows who started it but it's become viral long time ago. This saying will stay here in the future, when ever we feel optimism about current and future rise's there will be people who will use "to the moon", as I remember I used that saying few times in the past when I felt thrilled about the price rising.

We will see later this year a good pumps and dumps that will occur in bitcoin market. Probably this expected pumps and dumps will happen mid april or may maybe later since I am just speculating. It might not also happen so let's just hope that this speculation will come true.

I feel differently from your point of view. I would like for bitcoin to reach 4k$ this year and will be stable that way I can build my dream house for my family. I have been living with my parents together with my wife and child and if bitcoin rose that high then my salary in the website that I am working will also increase in value. Did you really have to create a thread just to ask that? That's called bitcoin's go to the moon but that phrase is subjective. What's considered as a huge price increase to you might not be to me.

Bitcoin's price goes to the moon mean that the price of bitcoin will increase a lot. A lot of people say that phrase because it's easier to understand. When you said "moon", first thing comes to mind is something "high" or above the sky. Essentially, there's no limit on the price of bitcoin and even we're already at 10k$, you can still say that bitcoin is going to the moon (meaning price increase).

I do not find any big impact if bitcoin ETF is not getting approved. Because bitcoin already is getting media coverage, I just see BBC site is talking about bitcoins prices in its front page itself.

When bitcoin prices are being a hot topic, we can expect more new investors will be coming in. Topping gold price would be the key here, so automatically bitcoin prices will be keep on flying toward moon by ignoring negative news if any.

True, bitcoin will rise again on 9-11 March, when will be received in the SEC (the regulatory body trading) US. the possibility of bitcoin prices will soar even higher. but if it is rejected, the bitcoin will decrease dramatically as possible. This then causes the current bitcoin further rise in price

We cant be still sure on the price would continue to rise even more that we never dream off but the potential is there to reach prices on high point and now it even more than golds value. If the demand will increase then expect the price will rise too.

The real price of how bitcoin go to the moon, whether at the price of $ 1,500 or $ 2,500 every post I read there were some who said bitcoin go to the moon, or when the price of bitcoin regular prices suddenly go up higher. this what is called bitcoin go to the moon?

I would like to say go to the moon is when the increase in price can be up to 10-20% in one day and kept up on a regular basis, even though the price down but the decline was not a large scale that can lead to panic sell in the market.

Bitcoin price will go to the moon in this year, from the early year, bitcoin really show a great movement price and stable at a high price and there is no sign that it is going to stop moving, if the etf really approved, then the price will sky rocket again
that's right. Bitcoin has gained a lot of positive results in the previous year and we can see that the price has tripled since the early 2016. If you have invested your money in Bitcoin, you will all have some decent profit from this activity. No doubt that Bitcoin will be more and more successful in the 2017

The phrase "bitcoin goes to the moon" means constantly grow of the price for this currency. Every year the price get doubled or rise for 80% as minimum. Everybody see even much higher perspectives for the price and that's why you can see on the forum such kind of posts.

I'm not sure if these would be the correct terms to describe such an event, because in the current case Bitcoin has had slower and steady growth compared to other occasions, such as in 2013 when a large part of the price increase was occasioned by a bubble effect.

Every time we see a rally in bitcoin's price like it is the last few weeks people they say the well known phrase 'price go to the moon'. But which is this price? $2000-$3000 even higher? And what will they say after an obligatory correction? Does anyone know what SEC will decide about first bitcoin ETF in March 11? or, does anyone knows if the Chinese government continues its strict policy about the conversion controls had already imposed to Chinese exchanges? I believe that the answer is no.

In my opinion the "moon" has always been a point where Bitcoin just rockets up and stays there. So even though the value is incredibly high right now, I don't believe it is "moon" level right now, at least in the old terminology.

There are a lot of things that matter and there are variables with far more influence than most, but in a nutshell the ETF being confirmed would likely trigger a moon event, at least for a while.

Bitcoin should come down to $200 again so i can buy it and let it go to the moon ;D

haha, only in your dreams my dear.  :) I think if it will ever be around $1,000 again that would be the right time to buy. But I doubt it will ever be below $1,200 to say the truth. Actually if someone wants to buy Bitcoin high price doesn't matter since you can always buy 0.05 for example.

"to the moon" to me is just like that meme of rollercoaster they post on reddit every damn day!
and the price has no cap, it can go up to 10K$ and then more.

also i have to say about the two things you said here, they are both two unknown events that can change the coarse of things but only temporarily. the SEC thing is just hype these days.
and the Chinese will come back to normal again otherwise people are going to continue their OTC trading and there is not a damn thing they can do about it.

Nowadays, "To the moon" is kind of a meme. It's an overused phrase whenever the price of bitcoin starts rising again. Bitcoin will never "Get to the moon", since this is simply relative. But we all know that the price will rise and rise, until we are all old and can see how great bitcoin is.
in fact it was just like a slogan, maybe in a few years ago bitcoin price today is like a dream, bitcoin is actually already in the month due to rise more than 1200-fold, bitcoin let's look at a few years to come
We cant be still sure on the price would continue to rise even more that we never dream off but the potential is there to reach prices on high point and now it even more than golds value. If the demand will increase then expect the price will rise too.
As the price of the bitcoin goes up it attracts more investors and more people who are going to want to use it and that means that there is going to be more demand and that means the higher the price gets so basically it is a big circle, and we are inside of the circle so we need to stay calm and work to make it bigger.

Bitcoin has reached another level as big investors and countries including bank owners are already investing on bitcoins. Two of the largest banks in Japan has placed a huge capital on bitcoin exchange on Japan. Many countries are now looking on the merits of bitcoin and with the huge investors coming in a large increase in bitcoin will be expected.

Japan hits record in general to promote the bitcoin, and bitcoin on the introduction into their financial systems. Some exchanges are already providing customers the possibility of insurance investments. This is a very serious bid for success.

Success is along way to go for bitcoins. Right now there are big problems on the bitcoin network such as the problem on blocksize, high miner fees, long confirmation of transactions and the possible split of bitcoin into two (referring to XBT and XBU). If these concerns will be answered then we can say is already having its success.

I have to side with you on that dude. A million for me would be impossible. I don't think so. Even if almost all people would own btc, it still won't go even close to that amount. Even 50k is a bit farfetched already. Though i'm also hoping that time will come that btc can seriously reach that amount, i think it would have to be close to under 8-10k in a couple of years

I don’t know if we are going to see that price this year since it does not seem like we are going to reach any kind of consensus regarding the scaling issues of bitcoin and that will bring fear on the heart of investors about a possible hard fork and that will not allow bitcoin to reach its full potential in terms of price.

Ask 100 random people and ask if they know Bitcoin, I think only 90% of them will tell you, What is bitcoin?  So thats it. The more people knew about Bitcoin everyday, the more people start to use bitcoin, then the more Bitcoin price surges.

Bitcoin now has been reduced at below 1100$ but it will be never be drop in below 1000$. It can recover it at once more than 1200$ ;)

Well it isn't going to come back on that price. It may be falling right now but let's be real on it. It's just fluctuating from $1k - $1,100 now.

We just need to wait and help the adoption again so that bitcoin can recover again.

Because of the fud that are being spread by these people that wants to make the newbies sell the coins they've got is irritating me.

In the history of the bitcoin, haven't been priced down to $1000, so to be a $200 I think it's impossible.
We can see now, every year the price of Bitcoin is surely increased. I believe in the end of this year, it's will be $1500 - $2000/BTC.

Yeah. It went down really hard before because there is not much of supporters.
But now? Bitcoin became a big fish in which many will be supporting it and willing to do what must be done to not let that happen. Pumping it will be easy if ever it will go down.
I think many of us have already saved money in case a fall would happen so we could buy more. Right?

It is funny because back then in 2015 when bitcoin prices crashed to oblivion - it was like $185 at some point,
and we didn't have scaling problems, fees were low, confirmation faster and there wasn't any excessive spam attacks.
Right now price is above $1000 and we have scaling drama, high fees, spam attacks everyday and community is fractured.

I agree with your thought mate, bitcoin need to be more higher value before it stable in price and go to the moon and stay. The level of moon is when you can buy house per bitcoin ( still in my dream ) but to say, we are not on its level to say that it needs to be stable.

For securing a stable position still, bitcoin need some more time because there are many people who still don't like the bitcoin. The other way it can touch the moon is through government involvement, in this way it will attract more people. Once it attracts more the price of bitcoin will automatically touch the moon.

Of course, there are countless other companies who receives bitcoin or are on their way to include bitcoin. We can only hope will be a big advantage for the community of Bitcoin.

You can probably know the right time for bitcoin's price to increase or predicting by making up an analyzation regarding the upcoming news which may affect bitcoin directly and pretty impactful. As for example is when the halving is going to occur, the acceptance of bitcoin in specific countries, and so on. The things I've mentioned above is what makes such an expert traders could maximise their profit and thus being rich out of this activity.

It is important to remember that the price of the bitcoin is very high compared to other cryptocurrency and it defied all of our expectations, whenever the prices goes down they always goes up again so there is nothing to worry about for the current time and in the current market situation.

As for example is when the halving is going to occur, the acceptance of bitcoin in specific countries, and so on. The things I've mentioned above is what makes such an expert traders could maximise their profit and thus being rich out of this activity.
Yeah sometime maybe we can know the right time for bitcoin's price. But we should be able to master
all market analysis with all information from a variety of news about Bitcoin. Yeah it is fundamental analysis.
If we get the news is positive then the prices of Bitcoin certainly will increased.

Bitcoin's chances of reaching the moon were looking good.

Until bitcoin unlimited ruined everything.

I guess they forgot to take into account the effect a split would have on btc's price, in their "block size" calculations.

That type of short sightedness is why bitcoin unlimited is likely destined to fail.

it seems now bitcoin was no longer going to the moon because his prices again dropped in the market because there is the effect of the issue of hardfork, whose name bitcoin went to the moon that I think is we buy like in the present price sale later honored for $ 1,300 when it memncapai those prices that called bitcoin go to the moon

It is now evident that there is no flight to the moon this year will not. It seems to me that until will not be the cash of bitcoin demand will not grow. I think it makes sense to make coins of gold. It would be a great coin for investment backed by gold.

And how about the growth forecasts to $ 2k by the end of this year? Is it possible to forget about the increase to the salary this year? In general, as I read the forecasts of experts, the rate of bitcoin will increase is equivalent to increasing the production of bitcoin and approaching and ending it. But this is a prospect for several years. Let's see what happens.

Its just a term commonly use by traders the a price of something would sky rocket above normal. Which means it will have a great increase price wise. However it also commonly use by hypers who want to hype anything so that they have the chance to short it(selling side). So if I were you study more before believing Bitcoin's price to go way up.

The real price of how bitcoin go to the moon, whether at the price of $ 1,500 or $ 2,500 every post I read there were some who said bitcoin go to the moon, or when the price of bitcoin regular prices suddenly go up higher. this what is called bitcoin go to the moon?

Don't expect too much on bitcoin because this expectation will hurt us someday when we hold and store tones of bitcoin from our work on trading and investments programs. Suddenly bitcoin price fall and now it becoming normal again hoping it goes back to normal and exceed the last max bitcoin price.

Yes, the price of bitcoin now does not fly to the moon. And all this was so expected. And everything was fine, until this rush began with a possible fork

Neither BU nor SegWit is going to prevent Bitcoin from being centralised, if anything BU is going to increase centralisation, especially with the continued backing of monopolies like Bitmain.

And the altcoin frenzy is completely over, Ethereum and DASH have clearly reached their peak and have stayed there for a while now.  Bitcoin prices have gone up on a rebound just recently, from ~$900 to ~$1000.

Seems like at the moment the price isn't in the best shape and that is dropping down but I beleive this is just the temporary situation that is actualy normal in bitcoin volatility and also influenced with ETF and hard fork situation but soon bitcoin will overcome this and the price will start to climb up again.

First of all i would like to tell you this was not a surprise as we all are aware i mean all those who have been using bitcoin from long time are aware of these kind of price dump but some people who probably have little knowledge about bitcoin made others believe that bitcoin's price will never go down and painted bitcoin as immortal and now when the price dropped they thinks its the end of bitcoin but the fact is all the experts of bitcoin knew that there will be price fluctuations but again bitcoin will gain its value back, So don't sell it in panic and start doing your own research you will be at the safer end.

Looks like this situation is not a natural thing. With a lot of the FUD for the hardfork bitcoin in the future and it seems to be a manipulation.

This dump is really predictable by some parties. The HF will give bad impact for the market. It makes a stress for the market of bitcoin. But this just the matter of the time and it will recover again.

I think it will need at least a month for bitcoin to recover its price to the normal like $1,100+ because the hardfork will happen in April 1 and it will confused other people who are newbie in investing and those people who wants long term investment since there will be like two bitcoins. But i always believed that the original bitcoin will still standout in the market and get the high price back.

Right now it doesn't seem that it goes to the moon but this is just temporary situation that will change soon. And I don't think that it will take take the whole month for price to recover and achieve 1000$+ again. Of course, everything depends on the market and it will react to current circumstances but I hope we'll have 1200 again much sooner.

Ask 100 random people and ask if they know Bitcoin, I think only 90% of them will tell you, What is bitcoin?  So thats it. The more people knew about Bitcoin everyday, the more people start to use bitcoin, then the more Bitcoin price surges.
Awareness is not the only thing that we need to care about since even if people know about the existence of bitcoin that is not enough because what we need is more adoption since bitcoin, I think, is known by enough people already.

Well when it comes to awareness, i think we're slowly getting there as if you compare the people who know about btc from 2-3 years ago to now, i think there's a very big difference already. I agree that it would be the demand and use of btc that would determine if yhe price of btc is to go way up. We're already seeing a huge increase in users last year and this year so i think btc is rolling on the right path

There is no exact definition about "to the moon". That's just a hyperbola to reflect the price increase or the happyness feels by everyone. But if the coin will touch a new ATH and it can be included on the moon price. I think the moon mean the coin touch another upper price or decimal.

Going to the moon means the increase of the bitcoin's price that the people are getting crazy about it. There are no exact price because there are a lot of price that will make the bitcoin users really happy. And I think too that it is also the expectation of the users to the price reaching another level so I think that may be $10000 which is really still so far from the current price now, it is still 10 times the current price. They are expecting a lot of prices, though they are the same on one point, that is the increase of the bitcoin price.

Many users are expecting something in the $ 3000 range, some of them go further and speculate something in the $ 5000 range.

I don't think we will reach such values this year, considering the slowness for the current problems to be solved, but I would be happy to see Bitcoin reach the $ 2000 mark.

I think that is too much, maybe it will be on $1300 but not gonna rich that high, there are still doubts about bitcoin because of the forking and the matter is not done. And I dont think that the rivalry is a problem about these because the reason that they switch to other digital currency is because they are scared of what might happen to bitcoin. In case that the problem is solved, I think the price will gradually increase though still not gonna reach that high.

Yes. Persuading or inviting more investors could lead us to that moon that we really want.
Actually it is almost the moon for other people here who invested a year ago. It is almost quadrople the money they invested and sti going up.

I think the main reason btc price has recovered is because right now it's gone quiet around btc.
There is no imminent threat of a fork, everybody has realized that dash & co got pumped, transaction times are back to normal.
Combined that makes bitcoin a save haven under the crypto currencies.

That's right, it's a mere expression for the increase of bitcoin's price, people often say that bitcoin is going to the moon when the price is pumped hard, but, never arrived on the moon, LOL.
So, the definition is relative.

Yeah there's no more noise that are coming from the BTU shills. And it made the market of bitcoin quiet, hopefully that they aren't planning something again to make the price of bitcoin collapse that will result to fall. It is still too early for the price of bitcoin to fall. It's better if they are going to let bitcoin skyrocket so that we'll all benefit on it.

I don’t know about the number one currency in the world, bitcoin as a currency is not that great but as a way of investment it is, and that is due to how the bitcoin supply really works and how it is limited, and also how the price is really high and how it keeps going up as time goes by that means like it is similar to gold or maybe even better because it is a new idea and everyone wants to support it.

A price of $2000 per Bitcoin could happen this year. I wouldn't have said that a few months ago but after the price rose to around $1300 and there was a drop, Bitcoin surprisingly rebounded much better than I expected.

I do not care what ever planet or moon of a planet where Bitcoin is, all that matters is its ever rising price value.  Bitcoin seems getting stronger now, maybe it is preparing to break its new ATH soon.  A solved scaling problem will definitely help Bitcoin to attain this.

Still kinda tentative for me.  I think $1500  is a safe range for Bitcoin to target this year.  That is without the activation of anything that will make bitcoin scale.  And if ever Bitcoin updrade this year, then I would have to agree $2000 is inevitable.

Can you prove me what are the aspects will support the bitcoin for reach $2000 in the end of this year? Looks like you're very optimism about that. But since the scalability debate is start and everytime the bad news can be appeared to press the market movement. The japanese news is to counter the scalability debate news. although there will no more bad news from the scalability debate and bitcoin will be fine.

Correct and i think we do not need to expect much higher value for the bitcoin just do collecting bitcoin as many as you can and it will be more worth when this year end. $1500 now is near to reach as we can see now that the price moving forward and the demand also is increasing.

i think you missed a "1" in your number because 20% rise in a year is way too small for bitcoin. the price has been rising over 100% each year from the early days (expect from the period when MtGox cancer hit the market hard). you can see price rising from for example $0.1 to $1 then about $2 to $20 and so on until the 2015 from $200 to $450 and the 2016 from $450 to $1000
and after 8 years of performing well, i can't see the rise suddenly drop from 100%-200% to 20% in a year!!!

I have found out that many people in this thread are speculating that bitcoin will go straight into sky, and nothing will stand in it's way.

Sound like not possible to happen unfortunately.
Every asset needs to fall a little to have constant price rise. Nothing can be unbeaten because the market is agreement between bulls and bears.

That is the reason bitcoin might be very expensive, but need time for it - i think about 5 years.
We need fluctuations on bitcoin to get it on next level and we still may see for example 2000$ for bitcoin in 2022.

I think if the upward trend continues with all the people continue to be attracted to add their bitcoin and buy it and there is no panic selling is not likely that the price will be? but most users can not wait?

The real price of how bitcoin go to the moon, whether at the price of $ 1,500 or $ 2,500 every post I read there were some who said bitcoin go to the moon, or when the price of bitcoin regular prices suddenly go up higher. this what is called bitcoin go to the moon?

Go to the moon is a special word to show that bitcoin will at those highest where it never goes .
Here in my opinion the price of the bitcoin will no more increase to cross 1500$ or even to reach Because I think the reality behind this quality is that the questions arising about the bitcoin whether by it is legal.or not ( Specially in India but opposite of this Japan accepted official ay be the price go down due to such reasons .
Here in mind the big reason is to say that price will not more increase more is because I am thinking for the hardfork that will down the price by release it's price for BTU ( division rule ) .

Yes true, this is a matter of time and patience with us, I'm sure the price $2500 didn't take long time, maybe only need 3 months again. The best way to get more profit is we buy bitcoin as we can and don't waste our time to observe price.

I have found out that many people in this thread are speculating that bitcoin will go straight into sky, and nothing will stand in it's way.

That's indeed the impression that you get by browsing through the entire speculation section. People simply don't understand what it takes to get the price to reach certain price levels. It even takes a decent amount of 'effort' to just keep the price at the same levels. Nothing comes easy in the world and Bitcoin is definitely not an exception. Main point of importance is that Bitcoin needs to scale in order to keep moving further. If there is no scaling solution, or at least a temporary solution, there is no way we break through the $2000 level. Bitcoin's userbase is growing, more people means more transactions, and more transactions means more transactions needing to wait a good while before getting included in a block. 1MB block cap is an obsolete number already.

The price of $2,500 for bitcoin is impossible for this year because there is a lot of things to consider like the pumps in the altcoins which can compete for the possible investor in bitcoin. If there is no pump in altcoin then the price of $2,500 is very possible. But i still agree that should buy bitcoin and don't waste our time in doing investment because just after a few months the price of bitcoin will pump again and give profits like what it did in the past few weeks.

After the devastating dump of bitcoin in the market and migration of bitcoin holders to ethereum and dash due to the fear of bitcoin split between core and hardfork of BU. But even after the dump bitcoin has recovered fast and with Japans acceptance of bitcoin and also if Indonesias petition for the legalization of bitcoin be approved then we will expect another skyrocket increase in value. Hope it will reach the value of 2000$ by next month and if not at least by december this year.

Im pretty positive about that dude. The dump was quite brief and we're now back to hiwnit was before the dump. I think 2k by the end of this year is very well reachable and it may not even take that long if the trend sustains.

Well, as we all know, Switzerland is also quite friendly to bitcoin but I don't think it helps much. What matters is many btc casinos with huge bankrolls, trading sites and miners doing their job. And yet we can't say that the price is 'going to the moon'. I think nice and slow growth is totally fine and it is great bitcoin hasn't faced the hark fork.

seems pretty bitcoin will rise which can be calculated, see price bitcoin for 6 months, bitcoin have nice circulation usd, easy predictable and when the price decline is not too hard, I think bitcoin will have price a 1500 $ for a month september . there is no harm if purchase bitcoin at this time, I think this year's $ 1,000 price is a fixed price bitcoin, it would not hurt to buy a bitcoin at current prices, and taking into account that the price of bitcoin will be rising at a price of 1500 $ ~ 2000 $, something to win in short time .

Reaching out 1500-2k wouldnt be short time and i say that it would takes time and some trader or users dont really like the waiting game.Yes its still safe to purchase bitcoins on the current price but for some they need to wait for a little dip just like before when it dip again on 900+ mark which is the sweet spot to buy more cheaper coins.

Everybody in this community, are dreaming and believing that Bitcoin  will reach 10,000$ a years from now. It is one of the reason why some of the bitcoin holders are embracing it more because of this belief including myself. At the present time now bitcoin value was 1204$ which is really calming to all bitcoin fanatic, and I guess this coming month of June Bitcoin will become at least 1500$ or more. ;)

The movement of the price of bitcoin is the same as the previous year and wait a few months it will start to increase the same as previous year and then you will see a 100% increase in the price of bitcoin which like occurred in the previous year summer.

$1500 price of btc I think is achievable within the year. But I speculate it to be around $2000 as long as their are no external factors that could affect the market price then we will see that this price. Investors are likely to put cash flow into the bitcoin ecosystem, making bitcoin one of the best instruments this year. That's the beauty about bitcoin, its resiliency, it was able to withstand a lot of obstacles and able to survive and the price soar as more challenge comes into its way.

He means that the scene in previous year will happen again at the current year.

Why he said 100%?

Apr4 - Apr11 2015 = $220-$240
Apr4 - Apr11 2016 = $420-$426
Dec 2016 = $800 - less than $1000
Apr4 - APr11 2017 = $1190+

By looking at the growth and if we will based to his forecast, it can surpass 100% as seen in the past performance.

100% growth for bitcoin is so easy because it can happen base on the price history of it. Bitcoin never fails to surprise us and we need to get ready for the possible price soon and buy cheap bitcoins now.

I believe it is just came out of curiosity as prices are going up high and higher every day. Have you ever saw bitcoin dropping from 1200 directly to 200 dollar or around? No. Instead it will drop a little but on the following day it will rise one step more. :-) I have seen graphs, lots of them and have compared the waves each time for tow or more days. There is always big glitches which leads our beloved bitcoin gaining more value. This might end up with bitcoin having price more than $2000+ then we might call it as bitcoin reached moon. :-)

I do think that way too.
Although there are downs, seeing it go back up to where it almost stopped last time provide faith to those who are on hold.
It just gave an opportunity to those who sold at last time with $1300 to buy again and maybe solidify their way of holding again.
I think there is much room for increase seeing it already reached a higher price.

If you are looking sky rocket value means we didn't reach to that value yet, because as satoshi speculates we haven't reach the scratch level value also as of now.

I would regard anything going to the moon if you get ten times what you bought it for. So now if I was to purchase say I bitcoin at 1.2k USD then I sold it for 12k USD, then yes that is what I would consider a to the moon price rise.

Good definition. Being a bitcoin holder, I'm not just expecting 10x appreciation. I just look for bitcoin values to hit million dollars so that I could have some of my dreams come into reality. So, my definition of going to the moon would be getting a price levels in millions.

I'm sure in next 5 to 10 years bitcoin prices will be having values in millions by considering the adoption rate. Mathematically prices and adoptions will follow exponential growth.

My definition is purely based on how many bitcoins I am holding. In future if I will be able to save more bitcoins, I guess I will alter my definition of "going to the moon".

but if you want to sold it for 12k USD, you need to be patience before the price is up and its really need more than a year. there are no exact prediction that can predicting how and when bitcoin price will be reach and how much the highest price because bitcoin price itself is volatile and its depend on what is happen in the market. as long as there is many people or many traders that trade bitcoin-fiat or bitcoin-altcoin, then the chance for bitcoin to increase is big and we can follow the price so we can sell in any price that we want.

As long as the yearly performance is better than most other investments and currencies, I am not one to complain. Over 20% a year increase is very small for bitcoin, but already a big one for any other kind of investment. That is a testament to how well bitcoin has performed over the past few years and I hope this long term uptrend can be continued and sustained.
The movement of the price of bitcoin is the same as the previous year and wait a few months it will start to increase the same as previous year and then you will see a 100% increase in the price of bitcoin which like occurred in the previous year summer.

Last year summer the price of bitcoin is very lower when compared to now, bitcoin is moving in the right direction because of supply and demand of the bitcoin users. Last year the price of bitcoin is around 460$ only now it is close to 1200$.

At present bitcoin's price is really high but it doesnt mean its price will keep rising. Anything can happen. No one can tell exactly what will happen tomorrow. It all depends upon the market condition. That too I personally dont think its price will rise too much. Definitely one day governments will somehow find a way to regulate the bitcoins.

The real price of how bitcoin go to the moon, whether at the price of $ 1,500 or $ 2,500 every post I read there were some who said bitcoin go to the moon, or when the price of bitcoin regular prices suddenly go up higher. this what is called bitcoin go to the moon?

There is no exact price which can be said that Bitcoin has reached the moon.It is usually said when bitcoin price increases rapidly reaching an unexpected target and now its price is $1193 and we can say that bitcoin go to the moon. Now its price is yet to increase more.
the price of bitcoin is raising too high. that is why we can say that the price of bitcoin is reaching to the moon.

BTC price is already hovering around 1200 $ from a month now almost. It has fallen back many times and arose just above 1200 and taking a dip. Its trying to stabilize at 1200 currently bu the momentum is below 1200$ at present market. Around 1100$ in coming time.

What makes you think BTC will drop to $1,100 in the near future? All I can see nowadays is rising. The panic selling which happened in March is over and I can see no reasons for the price of BTC to drop now or in the days to come.

I don't think bitcoin prices will go to the moon soon, but I think we can expect 20% growth in the year 2017.

people usually make random speculation on this forum, you should learn not to pay attention to those who are just saying numbers without some included logic to back it up.

my logic is like this if anyone was interested, and i am not claiming to 100% right:
at the moment there is a big uncertainty about bitfinex and the fact that their deposit and withdrawals are disabled.
they claim it is because of the issue with their bank. if that is the truth (which i think it is) that should be fixed soon and things will be back to normal. there may be some fluctuations sideways because price is out of balance right now with BFX being higher than most exchanges and bitstamp being unusually lower.

if not and there are more things going on outside of our knowledge then there will be some small disturbance. this means a price drop mostly because of panic and FUD not a real threat.

20% for the whole of 2017 is quite small, actually. Anything below 50% will be below bitcoin's average over the last two years. It won't be the best performing currency for nothing. $1,500 by the end of the year isn't too high since we are still very early in the second quarter of the year and a lot can still happen.

Bitfinex has proven to be a shady exchange, and this just indicates that something bad is brewing (possibly a MtGox scenario). Bitfinex "hack" last year was a warning, and those that left this exchange have done the right thing. People that kept using this exchange are now shaking on their legs. It's not for nothing that there is a fair premium in Bitfinex's exchange rate. Now people can't get their fiat out of that exchange, they buy Bitcoin (which results in the price to go up higher than other exchanges) so that they can cash out everything they have there. In the short term, they might be re-enabling deposits and cashouts, but that's just done to slow things down and let the market calm down. MtGox did the exact same thing, till there was a moment that literally no one could get their funds out of that exchange anymore.

Actually, to reach $1500 in this year is very possible, we can see now the price
of Bitcoin is already rising again, Yeah $1220 now. In this moment, I think
the traders will buy more a lot of Bitcoin then they'll hold or sell it at high rate in the future.

This expression makes reference to the fact that BTC is a currency with limited supply and if there is a continuous growth in demand, its value will also increase continuously. Only if there is a sudden fall in demand (triggered by a major theft or a serious bug in the code) that BTC will suffer a sharp loss in value.

Even if bitcoins price will be very volatile and keeps moving between 1100$ and 1200$ that is not something to worry about as long as it will not go down 1000$ each. It is fun to watch the market right now and I am excited to see if by the end of the year bitcoins price will hit 2000$. Yeah it's fun to watch the market moves. I expect the price to stand holding a four digit value rather than falling below $1000. Little by little the popularity of bitcoin is increasing that even in one of the local newspaper saw an article related to bitcoin. So surely people will know about it soon paving path for a high growth.

The price of bitcoin could hit $3,000 by the end of the year after recently trading above gold and hitting a fresh record high, an analyst told CNBC on Tuesday. Some where just speculation, thinking of something to happen without any firm foundation of evidence.  We can see a lot of thread about that, though I always believe that Bitcoin will definitely increase in price overtime due to the fact that the population of the world involved with Bitcoin is still at the minimal level.  With promotions, development especially if both block size increase and SegWit is implemented, an influx of people adopting Bitcoin is expected.  This will cause Bitcoin price to increase until maximum saturation level is achieved.

I believe so, first thought was; suddenly rise up and maybe bitcoin price will increase more than $100 within a day and could reach $2000 (in 2017) or more depends on what year we talked about. But, it may just speculation as the price could drop back again as has happened before. Current barrier set at ATH ($1300), so people will start to sell out at this point and here we are until now, stay at $1242 (on preev).

It is much better to see the price movement of bitcoin slowly, it's way better if that is going to be on that track.

Because if the movement forward is very fast, we should expect a very fast backward movement after it.

But I will always going to believe that the price will going to have a very good future and the price will eventually fly to the moon.

Bitcoin price will go to the moon soon if we will stable at $1,200 price per one bitcoin because it will become a foundation for the future pump price for bitcoin. Price of bitcoin is only depending in the demand so if the demand will continue because of the good news then the bitcoin price will surely go the moon anytime soon!

Although Bitfinex has been number one in the recent months mostly, the market volume share of the exchange was fluctuating around 20% most of the time and it's not even close Mt.Gox's 70%. So I think even in the worst-case scenario the influence on the Bitcoin price will be not so big.  So I agree with you that the panic was unreasonable.

The moon is in a fixed distance from the Earth. But in the imagination of several bitcoiners is not so. For this you see "the moon" in different value of bitcoin. The truth is that with "moon" everyone imagine a higher (much higher) price of bitcoin compared to the present one. This is important. If the value goes much higher then we and bitcoin together are at moon. And believe me. We will see to much in this direction in the months or years to come. Maybe even the sun or some star. :-)

I do agree with you but bitcoin will not  just stay standing around if it reached 1300$ but will continue to climb up until it will reach its target which is 2000$ by the end of the year. Many doesnt agree with me but if you notice Japan has already starting to use bitcoin in their cities and people are now starting to experiment to purchase items from local shops using bitcoin. Soon Japanese bitcoin users will increase this year and it will have a domino effect to bitcoin on the market.

It's hard to predict what will be the price of bitcoin but as long as it keeps on reaching on higher one, then surely it can go to the moon, maybe not right now. But after the result if ETF will be approved or not. It really depends on how things are going to work and few more days left, exactly 11 more days left, we'll see if it will.

i agree yes bitcoin is not stable in price maybe if can reach higher high of price but i predict maybe in future will happen you can go to moon or anywhere but for now this is a dream only .

There will be more problem will appear as soon as possible. I mean OKcoin bank account has been suspended by the bank itself. The bitcoin is really stable right now. but if you understand about the recent situation will give an impact for the exchange site. If the more bank will try to block every exchange site bank account. The real problem will be appear in this time. Bitcoin is not on good condition

We need more time before its happen that because as you can see bitcoin is so stable and we don't know if bitcoin prices goes to the moon or goes down.  Be an observer to know if bitcoin price still in good situation.
For the moment, has not seen price Bitcoin is going to the moon even though
prices are now slowly rising. Yeah, now the price of Bitcoin is stable above $1200.
But if later the rates Bitcoin rise sharply I think it's will probably reach up to $1500.

I think people who says that believe in price if bitcoin being touching 100k one day. That would be the highest valuable asset in the virtual market. I'm not sure but it look like fuzz about bitcoin being reaching up to the 100k mark. Anyway if it does really happens then buzzinga we will be reach.

Oh man, I need bitcoin price to drop down a little bit. it is too high to cash in.

Let us wait what will happen to the issue bitfinex is having right now. Your wish might be granted if everything goes to south again for bitfinex. Right now the price is being pumped because they are converting their usd to btc. But once the users start dumping their coins somewhere else, the price will surely go down a bit.

Day by day the value of bitcoin is increasing. You know in 2009, 5000 Bitcoins were bought for $27 now the price of one Bitcoin is more than 1000 dollars. Who thought that time this would happen. So, in future the value of Bitcoin will go up.

Go to moon is the term use for never ending success of business, commodity, brand etc.
Bitcoin is going to moon due to its regular increase in price. We have seen the continuous stability at $1200 now which will double up in 3-4 years.

It is too early to say that or even it should be said or not ?

Almost half of the Bitcoin is out in the market while the rest is still with the company; the prices are not persistent yet. As there is a lot of fluctuation in the prices, we can’t say about when the prices are going to be up or down. I think we still need to work on it a lot. Otherwise it is nothing else than a day dreaming.

I think it is just a hyperbole saying which means that bitcoin prices is not literally going to the moon but as we see most of the night moon is far from our world, so its price could be achievable if we do something about it or you could just look at it. Basically, bitcoin gets higher from year to year and also goes down during one of its month or two , because bitcoin population is getting bigger too which affects it

Bitcoin price go to the moon is a hyperbole expression. Moon is something very unreachable to us because its very far. So is the price of bitcoin, it will continue to go up as the years go by. The moon is far, yet it is not impossible to go up there. So then the price of bitcoin is, is it truly possible that the speculations of high price will do come true sooner or later.

Actually, the price of bitcoin is unpredictable. However you can speculate how much will be the price of bitcoin. Some people believe that the price of bitcoin will go to the moon and if that happen it will result to a high income. Lastly, I hope the price of bitcoin will rapidly increase in the near future.

I think bitcoin is still at early stages and we should keep buying now as in years to come, were we are today may be a child play compared to were we are going. Just about five months ago that you opened this thread but today bitcoin is above $4000 and we are still going up. If the issues in China become things of the past by 30th September, it then mean by October bitcoin may break $5000 level as this resistance area is very significant for us.

But its not too late to buy bitcoin you can do now and hold it for few months and few years maybe your money become double or triple. I hope bitcoin price will continue to increase so we can make a lot of profit more.

Considering the positive prediction of different known personality regarding the price of bitcoin, it is not yet to the moon.  As a matter of fact Bitcoin had experienced some dip during its path to the moon, and just rebounded recently.  I believe it will still take some decade to see those prediction to realize.  It is too early for bitcoin to get those predicted price even after 5 years.

It’s difficult to determine a cyclical effect of Moon phases on the market. What is clear from the chart below is that significant market highs and lows coincide with Full and New moons. Market esoterica such as “Sell on the New Moon, Buy when it’s Full” seem to have a statistical chance of getting traders and investors in and out of the market at reversal points. However, as seen in the Bitcoin price chart the maxim does not hold true in all cases.

Every process in our world is cycled. Different phenomenas show both rises and falls, so Bitcoin won't rise all the time. Nowadays its currency exchange rate is rather high, and few people could predict that it will be so. But in fact, one day, bitcoin will rise to the moon with its maximum historical value and one day its value will drop down dramatically

Definitely it will be a roller coaster ride going to the moon, but its gonna be fun. I just hope that everyone could join the party. Not only did it make 5k in that month but has doubled again in less than a month time which is incredible. This is the last time I expect such a rise in such a short period of time because now we are flirting with a big marketcap and I think the BTC marketcap by 2018 could actually be more than a trillion dollars. Well the OP predicted this is October so it makes sense today that the price have doubled already since. Bitcoin is definitely mooning. We already breached the mental barriers of $10K and now going to $12K. And starting this month alone, bitcoin has rose tremendously, touching $11K. Its quick, with minor corrections along the way but rest assured that the price have still leg room to increased at the end 2017. Around $15K possible now, with all the financial institutions interested on offering bitcoin futures contracts.

The next months will make a hard test to bitcoin and its supporters, hard fork will hit deeply the coin as well altcoins, i do expect some loss around 20-40% the current value, i do know bitcoin will recover and moove forward but cant ignore the situation it had reached with the transactions issue that need to be handled at once. In the future bitcoin will keep accumulating more healthy and can easy worth 20 000 dollars at the next 5-10 years.
I am just wondering, if bitcoin price will be on the moon, what is the highest value that it will reach? With the current run of bitcoin will it reach a 100% increase in the next 2 years?

Since then the price has been going up.
Yes I agreed on what you just said here, as long as bitcoin is not reaching 5000$ it is still good time buy more of it. Just every time ther is dropping the value happen, always take the chance to buy a huge of it, so in the end at the right period of time to sell it we are all happy for sure.
The price that the BTC has reached and simple to explain, as well as any product when the demand for it increases its price consequently rises. After he passed the $ 2,000 community gained a great integration, ordinary people with no connection to the medium decided to bet on the novelty, consequently with these new aspuestas the price soared.

From now until 2018 I believe that the BTC is already in the 20,000 dollar range, as great news comes every day, an example of this and the exchange of money to the American Stock Exchange.

What do you think, when will this sharp increase in the price end? What price will be set - 15,000, 18,000 or 20,000 before the start of trading in the stock exchange?

I think it's outside the earth's atmosphere yet. I know bitcoin has no reach the moon yet because speculations are still there that bitcoin will cost for about hundreds of thousands in the coming decades. It would also be better that by the time bitcoin reaches the moon, other promising cryptos will also follow.

This was posted way back february when the price was still 1200$. But look at it right now. It has rose up 14x the previous starting price this year it 2017 is not yet over. It is still rising and rising. And the speculations will be probably hit next year. It's good to hold only if you doesn't have any expenses. Or you have back up funds for your living.

Compared to the start of this year, its just insane what Bitcoin accomplished price wise. I never would have thought that we will be able to make this kind of profits with BTC in one year. I put most of my money in ETH early this year, so I had only very little in Bitcoin, turned out that Bitcoin would have been even more lukrative than ETH was and its still continuing to rise. With wall street exposure incoming, only sky is the limit I guess.

It will happen if majority of people will access bitcoin. The price goes up to the moon if the demand also rise up to the moon. The price and demand are equally moving. When price higher, meaning many people needs bitcoin without selling their stocks. Bitcoin price is balancing, depends on the demand and supply basis. The more people hold and stock's bitcoin it will also price moving up higher. But if people panic and rapid selling of bitcoin, the price also will directly moving down.

We must consider the instability and flexibility bitcoins are showing somehow. To know the nature of bitcoins, we need to study them that how they behave in different conditions and situations. What are the events that took them away from us to moon and when they come back to the ground level? Such research will help us to be under controlled when some disturbance occurs in there.

Bitcoin will go to the moon by the end of 2018 as it has reached 19 times the exchange rate by the end of 2017. At this time, due to the influence of much negative news as well as the exchange floor Binance Exposure to the API key led to a series of cryptos being sold at every exchange rate, prompting the market for cryptocurrencies to fall sharply. But the market will soon recover because of many significant events in the next few months.

I am pretty much confident that in the month of May or June, the bitcoin investors would be highly ecstatic for they would be paid off by bitcoin for their patience and support. Yes that's exactly what they meant when they say bitcoin goes to the moon. Basically it is when bitcoin constantly increases its price almost every week enough to reach to another all time high price. I think the last time it went to the moon was last November when it just touched to $20k and after that it went down until this month, I gave myself a break and just returned back from a long vacation and saw that bitcoin just increased its price just recently so I think I have now the time to check on my portfolio and at least it won't hurt my eyes to see the market all red.

Why is the moon the only destination that we all want?  ;D Way back as early as 2010, Bitcoin was expected to go to the moon. Bitcoin's price went on to reach $5 and then $10 and then $100 and then $500 and then $10,000 and then $15,000 up until $20,000. And until now people are still asking when Bitcoin will go to the moon. Well, it has already passed the moon a long time ago. It is now beyond the sun even. It might be somewhere on the edge of the universe already.

Well, hope you do not sell bitcoin when bitcoin price is cheap, because you will regret if doing that. If you can not wait to wait for the right time to sell your bitcoin will be a loss, because according to the seniors who are here bitcoin at this price will jump drastically. This soaring sentence is drastically called bitcoin prices going to the moon.

I believe this is good news for the owners of crypto currency (Bitcoin), with the high price will make a big profit for bitcoin holders. But, we should be able to get rid of panic when the price is falling, because selling at a low price is a loss.

so I think we need to wait for a while because bitcoin giving a good sign to increase higher and don't panic if somehow the price cannot increase higher and only get down because this is what will happen with bitcoin. and if we want to make a lot of money, then we need to make sure that we can sell at the high price which could only happen in any minutes and the next minutes, the price will get down again. you will know when the time to sell if you always check the price in the market.

The price of bitcoin today is $8,900. Would you like to think that bitcoin has reached such a high price a year from now?

I know that bitcoin hasn't reached the moon yet, because its price is hard to predict, and maybe next year it will cost $40,000.
A few days ago bitcoin price was only $6k and then the price went up to $8k within a few days. I think it can be interpreted as a high pump. I myself think that this is a good signal that bitcoin prices could rise high anytime. it may be pump prices and exceed $10k in the next few days. with ever-increasing users is likely to rise rapidly in the near future

BTC price is increasing and going up everyday almost, since few weeks, and thats surely a good sign. Bitcoin have the most promising potential among crypto currencies, and many experts predict that its price is going to moon during the few next years, so it is better profitable to buy more when the price is still cheap.

It was once last year that bitcoin reached an all time high at 20K USD but it's hard to see it as it plunged so deep more than half of that market value now. But it all started to rise back again now and if this will continue and will be the start of its launch back to the moon, then my expectation that it will rise in the 3rd quarter will be so wrong.
I think the price of bitcoin will go to the moon again on the month of november 2018, and i am sure with that, maybe the price of bitcoin in november 2018 can reached $30k or maybe $40k, and i am hoping that i can buy more bitcoin so i can hold it until price will go to the moon again.

This will rise and stable around 1200$-1300$, and your way is up.
Prob 1500$ until mid of year

Thats a huge amount and well I highly believe in that part since Bitcoin really fluctuates at mid year which is very usual but then people really rants about the dump of the price which I couldnt blwme them cause its hard to pay your attention here and gain lesser what you can expect.

This is gonna happen soon faster than we anticipated. Usually when people says "to the moon" normal people will really wonder and ask are you going to the moon?, when its really means that the charts are going really super high that is not normal, when this happens people are going crazy because some are really becoming millionaires in just a day prices are doubling and the social media are really loud at this time it happened when bitcoin reach 20,000 usd now it think it would reach higher than that maybe 50,000 usd or more.

I suppose "to the moon" meaning is the price going up, up and up once more without limit. So there are no particular price of bitcoin to the moon. When I comprehend bitcoin in the first time, "bitcoin to the moon" sentence usually exist till now. It went way too excessive that is why they are going too excited to name it "to the moon". But truly bitcoin simply went again to its fee way back. It is sincerely a thousand up dollars. Some holders right here have just gotten their ROI and this is simply the start for the income to come in. We can call it to the moon when it doubles this fee although it is getting horrifying because of what passed off then.

Imagine just on the last part of the last quarter of the 2017 and the first quarter of this year, there were many topics arouse about the end of bitcoin. But now, look at the current price, it is moving up again. I told you, all you got to do is to wait and what we are visualizing for bitcoin and our wallets will become real.
What we should do while waiting is to tell the others who have not yet invested in bitcoin to invest now so that the market will continue to grow. And of course continue to earn.

the signal to increase has shown and it's only a matter of time to see it will happen in this month or in the next month. but bitcoin itself, getting decline to increase last night although it's trying to rise again, it still needs a little time to see the price is back like yesterday. and now, the price moving so fast and if we are late to buy and sell, we cannot make a profit at all because we are getting stuck. and I only can say that it is better to get out from the market for a while and see where the price wants to go and then we can make a decision for the next step.

I know that bitcoin hasn't reached the moon yet, because its price is hard to predict, and maybe next year it will cost $40,000.
The price will grow more and 8900 dollars is not the highest price of the year. I think that it will hit 20k till the end of this year. Many people predict that the price will be more than 50k in 2019, but I think that 50k is very high price and it will take a long time to reach to that point. People are investing in bitcoin but the investment ratio is not high as it was expected.

It would be really hard for us to predict it's value since it is really volatile but I believe that based on the given proof by bitcoin, it still has the ability to repeat it's history again and would strike it's highest value again by the last quarter of the year. What we need to do is just  to be patient and just wait for the perfect timing that it yet to come.

that's right , if we look from the slow but steady movement of Bitcoin price, I'm sure Bitcoin's price will go back to $10,000 even more in the middle of this year,
just look at how the impact of positive issues will affect to the Bitcoin price.

There's a big possibility that bitcoin might repeat it's history to reach the best value again as it did last year. As it goes to the moon, we must also go with it and patiently hold to the moon as well. Let's just all be patient because all the best things are yes to some and we must just hopeful about the future of bitcoin as well.

Probably the bitcoin price going to the moon is the rise in bitcoin prices drastically even beyond the price ever achieved and I also predict that bitcoin will rise at the end of the year until the beginning of the year, since we refer to the previous year.
