Conditions :
It should allow the transfer to take place before the next dividend payment. If not for each share sold I'll transfer all dividends paid after this post to the winner(s) (minus a 0.0005 BTC fee for each payment). Format of bid is <nb_shares>@<price_per_share>: 15@1.1 would be the lowest possible bid to purchase all shares for a total of 16.5 BTC. I'll report the result of the auction as soon as it ends (and I'm available, which should be in the next 8 hours if I'm sleeping or working on something...), post payment addresses for each winner to use for my payment in this thread and ask them to post in this thread an address in their control friedcat can pay dividends to (so as to make the transaction fully transparent). I'll ask for friedcat to transfer the shares as soon as these 2 conditions are met:
I accept escrow if you pay for it. John the Dong has handled escrow for some of my purchases here and I trust him. Friedcat would be in an ideal position to make the transfer safe for you even if you don't trust me: you may want to ask for him to be the escrow in this case (he obviously is busy though). For a passthrough to be sustainable its manager needs to get some income, you should expect some fees with them too. In most cases additional risks and costs make passthroughs less valuable than real shares. Following the original post conditions, each winner must post in this thread an address under their control which I'll communicate to friedcat for transferring the shares. This address will be used for dividend payments by friedcat (and by me should friedcat make the transfer after the next dividend payments). If winners want to use escrow, please propose one ASAP and wait until I confirm I trust him/her to begin the transfer. When payments are secured and a Bitcoin address has been published here I'll ask friedcat to transfer the shares using signatures from my ASICMINER address to authenticate the transfer order and publish the message here for all to verify. Note: I must say that address signing with friedcat's share confirmation transactions and making all amounts/addresses public make it really easy to build trust. Even if the seller tries to scam you you can transfer all data to friedcat to prove that you have a contract with the seller. The only weakness is that a seller could try to sell his share multiple times between 2 dividend payments. If all buyers take precautions and use Google to search for other deals with the same ASICMINER address (just tried it and Google found this thread right away) and find none not confirmed before the last share confirmation TX they can all be safe (if some don't take this precaution everyone is at risk because more shares than available would be sold but the buyers with a public trace would probably manage to make their claim accepted by friedcat). I think signing a message with more content instead of what I did in the OP would help too. I tried to keep it short but as a result currently anyone with a "gyverlb" account on another site could try to reuse my signature to impersonate me. I should have added "@bitcointalk as of 2013-04-24 xx:xx::xx" in the signed message to make it more robust.
